In the shadows of the peaks, where mountain lions prowl and hunt, Amongst the whispering pines, where echoes sigh in time. Deep lakes mirror the moon, where lost souls roam the lonely mind, In the heart of the forest, darkness ride. Haunted by echoes of the past, where the spirits cry, Beneath the scarlet sky, where lonely souls lie. Mountains stand as silent sentinels, guardians of the night, In this eerie realm, where dark rides our mind.

Introducing Lonesome Handsome, the troubadour of the wilderness,whose heartfelt melodies echo the untamed beauty of the great outdoors. 

Lonesome Handsome hails from the wilds of Arapahoe Basin, Colorado, where the air is thin, the mountains are high, and the coyotes sing in perfect harmony. When he’s not dodging bears, you’ll find him channeling the spirit of the wilderness into songs that make you want to howl at the moon or, at the very least, hum along.

November 8th marks the debut single I’n This Ghostly Domain’. The song transports listeners to a haunting, ethereal landscape where echoes of the past linger. With soulful Americana tones and poetic storytelling, the track captures the mystery of forgotten places and unseen spirits. 

Behind the mountain troubadour is Cecilia Österholm, escaping the grey everyday hardships as Lonesome Handsome, her wild alter ego. Cecilia is best known for her work in the experimental folk-psych duo Siri Karlsson, the folk duo Erika & Cecilia, and as a former member of Systerpolskan, produced by none other than Benny Andersson of ABBA. For Cecilia, Lonesome Handsome is a way to explore new musical landscapes, where the untamed wilderness meets heartfelt storytelling.
