Shigeo: That's the name of the show! I've seen that logo -

Alphonse: It's the FUCKING WHAT?

Shadow: I was SAYING you were -

Shigeo [overlapping]: I've seen that logo on a bag of chips! I keep talking about the chips!

Shadow: Oh my - wait - Al doesn't know what culture is. Um - when I was saying "the thing we're from", I was implying that we're all from shows, or games.

Mob [overlapping]: Like books, Al.

Alphonse [overlapping]: No, no, no, no, no. I understood that part. I know what a fucking book is. They named it after HIM?

Alphonse: Are you fucking kidding me?

Shadow: Another side character! Audrey, there's dozens of us!

Interstitial encourages you to play with your toys. Take characters from media you enjoy, relive multi-fandom RP days, & be your most indulgent self.

In it's themes, Interstitial is a game about the connections between people, the impact of changing relationships, and the power of friendship.

The first edition of Interstitial was the first game I ever designed & released. I'm proud of the it, but aware of it's setbacks.

Interstitial 2E fixes what never worked, breaks what needed breaking, and gives everything just a bit of a buff—all while maintaining the heart.

If this is your first time here: Interstitial is a PBTA game that is based around the Links System- connections with others you gain over your adventures.

They're separated into four categories- Light, Dark, Mastery, and Heart. These will end up being your stats and currency.

This game wants you to pull characters from books, games, podcasts, anything and play as them. It's not "I'm basically playing darth vader", you just are playing Darth Vader. Vegeta is here, Catra, Kermit, Luffy. It doesn't matter who they are, you can and should play them.

2E has new playbooks, new rules, it's all been rewritten to just be better- It's the game that finally gives the polish that Our Hearts Intertwined deserved.

I want to start listening to Interstitial...is it a connected series where I should start at the beginning or would starting with the most recent season be okay?

you can ABSOLUTELY just listen to the most recent season! all four seasons are entirely standalone story-wise, with a few out of character references to past seasons because the players are all friends who are also fans of the show. of course i highly recommend going back for the first three seasons once you've finished infinity because i am me, but you don't have to START there.

(also the first three seasons are on a separate interstitial feed while infinity is on the riley hopkins and their amazing friends feed, just so you are aware.)
