No because even tho Mayura and Hina didn't went through the trauma of going to hell and meeting with the darkness devil the event still negatively affected them both.
Hina was upset she wasn't there to be remembered as someone who went to hell and came back alive, tho she also wanted to have been able to help them there.
But Mayura was the one who was affected the most because Bean died and they were close friends and like,, Mayura's never had friends before meeting Hina and Joining the devil hunters, so she had never lost anyone either and it was the worst feeling ever for her :(
She also had no idea how to cope and ended up blaming Denji for what happened, since Beam always saw him as a hero and "he should have protected him since he was his idol" (she also never really cared for denji that much to begin with, since she expected more from the so called "hero of hell"). But she never actually lashed out at him or anything because i don't think they see him again after Hina gets hospitalized
#Ash what have you done!! now i am thinking about them!!!/Lh#in general the events in the international assasins arc made Mayura start worrying about what was yet to come#because Hina is not semi imortal like her#not saying she doesn't trust Hina#she knows how strong and skilled she is and for the most part she doesn't bother because she knows she'll get by whatever devil they face#but sometimes you just can't win and Mayura has an awful gut feeling that things won't get any easier anytime soon#and she absolutely does not want to watch Hina die#csm#csm oc#hyena ramblings#mayura#hina akiyama

really really torn on either making the reason for yoshida not experiencing drawbacks when using the octopus devil is him giving up his emotions ( but i think more positive emotions like happiness rather than negative. he does seem to exhibit surprise, being stunned, excitement, and etc. but his smile is so fake, so maybe he doesn't really know what happiness feels like ) or the simple fact that the devil he's in a contact with is in love with him, so he can use it to his disposal without any drawbacks.

Looks like I don't agree with most people's complains of the second season so far, the pacing is fast but is not a big problem, the jayvik divorce that a lot of people said was horrible since the leaks? I actually liked it. And my favourite thing in this season is Cailyn's arc so yeah, the character assasination I feared isn't here, I actually imagined something like this would happen.
On the other hand I havent seen anyone complain about what really annoys me. Why are some of the songs so godamn edgy? It throws me off. I'm also not a fan of the introductions that come with the song but whatever. Like I internally cringed when I heard "Good luck killing me 'cause I'm already dead inside" and the "Can I do the right thing for the wrong reason?", wow could it be more on the nose? Sucker has to be the worst one specially since is so unnecessarely dramatic and the dialoge of Jinx while the music plays isn't any better, I swear they got an emo teen to write it. And the music only makes it worse. Couldn't take that scene seriously.
So funny enough I technically have problems with Jinx's characterization in that moment, not Cait, and since I have probems with the whole secuence the kid introductions feels strange so I don't connect a lot with her.
Basically, fuck that song.

Ok but I'm still thinking about shattered glass Drift with a pain kink...
Sg Drift with a string of shitty sg autobot flings cause no one in his own faction can fuck him how he wants. Drift as one of the few rlly skilled sg deception warriors so the autobots keep trying to assassinate him but he's still alive cause he keeps fucking all the assasins.
Drift getting his inevitable corruption arc by spreading his legs for the sg Circle of Light to stay alive, because sg Wing becomes obsessed with breaking his beautiful new painslut fragtoy
He joins the autobots and like half the army internally cries tears of blood when Ratchet and Roddy immediately get in a pissing contest over who gets to own Drifts aft. Now no one else can fuck him unless they wanna be burnt to death or become one of the Hatchets "pet projects"

The development of Chainsaw Man and Tatsuki Fujimoto's writing (part 1)
Tatsuki Fujimoto is an talented mangaka who has written some of the most amazing works I have ever seen. A lot of people seem to undermine the complexity and seriousness of part one, most likely due to the fact that the story itself contains a lot of straightfoward humour and questionable sexual content that is difficult to be taken seriously... and also how a large portion of his audience are horny emotional trainwrecks who only read his manga to see Makima's ass.
Fujimoto is unafraid to be true and completely honest in his works, creating complex characters and a plot that defies typical shonen stereotypes. The general idea of Chainsaw Man is undoubtedly very shonen, but he has managed to warp his story into something that resembles more of a character drama which I think is refreshing and influential. I sometimes like to think that Fujimoto forced himself to insert the action into Chainsaw Man just to please the majority of the younger manga community while also labelling it as Shonen so it could be published onto a magazine as influential as Jump to recieve worldwide attention. But personally, I feel like Fujimoto does not excel at creating a plot that revolves mostly around fighting, action and adventure which are some of the typical shonen elements that are highly appreciated. In fact, I feel like the pacing and panelling in some early Chainsaw Man chapters weren't executed well. I especially have minor issues with the overly rapid pacing of, for instance- the beginning of Bomb devil arc (where I personally believe that Reze could have become a more fleshed out character despite the fact that she was putting on a facade for most of the arc- extending the period before her reveal by increasing the amount of interactions between Denji and her would heighten the tension even further, allowing her character reveal to be more dramatic and shocking. Not only this, although I love the idea behind the International Assasins arc - it wasn't executed as well as it could have been. It was just too chaotic and fast paced in my opinion, it leaves the reader very confused on their first read due to the lack of explanation and the constantly shifting of perspective in the panelling. Some of the earlier fight scenes in csm were also drawn messily, making it difficult for the reader to visually understand the ongoing action. Finally, I also think that some of the characters were just killed way too early, so early to the point where possible character development was unable to be executed.)
Despite these minor setbacks, Chainsaw Man part one remains to be one of my favourite mangas, not because it is flawless, perfect or anything like that. It was because of the characters. Makima and Aki were remarkable characters that are three dimensional and complex, and was- in my opinion, the characters that were the most interesting and fleshed out. Denji is a character who was meant to be laughed at, but underneath this lies a boy who has lived such a tragic life, you can't help but sympathise with him. I love Chainsaw Man because I have formed a deep emotional connection with it, a feeling completely separate from liking a story due to it's masterful writing and art. Writing characters is an area that Fujimoto excels at, he creates addicting, relatable, beautifully written characters that you simply fall in love with. This is an area that is in desperate need for improvement in works that fall under the shonen demographic. Fujimoto writes great female characters, he surely loves writing women haha. A lot of Shonen works have terribly written female characters who were only made to please the male gaze and add "diversity' to the cast- while female characters in Chainsaw Man are portrayed in a realistic manner, actually driving the story forwards and making impact. After Chainsaw Man part one, the popularity of this manga just continued to skyrocket. Fujimoto went on hiatus, producing Look Back and Sayonara Eri in the process. Below is a section of what Fujimoto wrote in his author's notes in "before csm" addressing his feelings while writing Look Back along with noting down some details explaining his struggles in pursuing art during his early years after the 2011 Tohoku earthquake.
"I went back to volunteer one more time after that. Then I stopped. This was because I was doing oil painting, which gets expensive, and I had to draw manga in order to pay for it. From age 17, that sense of powerlessness has always been following me around. Every time there was another tragedy, my sense that my pursuits serve no purpose at all grew bigger"
"Recently, I drew a manga called Look Back to try and finally vent those feelings. Oddly enough, once I drew it, I think I was able to process them a bit. Looking at this collection of one-shots now, In that state of mind, I remembered a lot of things. Not just that I would draw while feeling powerless, but also that I would draw while really hungry, and how I was always practicing art with my friends. It brought back memories so fun that I have to wonder why I'd only been remembering the dark things. Now I feel glad that I got to have not just Look Back collected in a book, but these one-shots too."
I assume that Look back and Sayonara Eri are works that Fujimoto have always wanted to write- stories that he wrote for himself, not to please his audience anymore (after his immense success in csm, there was no need for him to gain further attention) I'm so proud of him lmao. Part 1 of Chainsaw Man is influential, iconic and an amazing piece of work- but did Fujimoto really like his story? Did he force himself to write Chainsaw man? Part 1 felt rushed, a lot of the story was improvised and messy at times as a result of his crazy work schedule. I sometimes like to think whether the end result of Chainsaw Man was really something Fujimoto wanted to create? What would have happened if he didn't have to please his audience and work under this terrible schedule that influenced his ability to fully express his best work? Fire Punch was a less successful piece that is quite different from Chainsaw Man (which actually appears to be more conventional when comparing it to the obscurity of Fire Punch). Did he try to create a piece of work that appeared to be shonen just so it could be attractive?
"All mangaka wanted to do this job because they love sharing stories and drawing, but when you actually become a mangaka, you realize you need to handle everything alone. When working for weekly magazine, you just don't have enough time. The schedule is too intense, and you need to work as fast as possible. I always end up improvising some things during the inking phase to save time. I'd like to do both the characters and backgrounds myself, but this is so difficult I need to ask my assistants to handle the backgrounds".
This was what Fujimoto said when someone asked whether the suffering of Chainsaw Man's characters actually reflect his feelings:
"I never thought about it, but it's all definitely inspired by my own feelings. It might be the reflection of my daily routine. I work alone for a weekly magazine. It's incredibly difficult, and I don't want my series to get canceled, so I work non-stop".
After Chainsaw Man part 1, we had the opportunity to see two oneshots that were not created under the pressures of time and success. Works that once again, had such lovable, remarkable and raw characters that reflected Fujimoto's talent in character writing along with art that was noticeably more refined, clean and beautiful. In my opinion, these two oneshots exceeded the quality of the entire first part of Chainsaw Man, you don't have to agree- but Fujimoto's development as a mangaka surely is prominent.
This is all for now, follow me for more content like this, I'll upload a part 2 to this where I begin talking about Chainsaw Man part 2!

Btxt Atla AU Worldbuilding
OK ok here we go. Also credit for this also goes to @onedreamseeker (sideblog of @1001galaxygal) because we were a hive mind of two people for this.
For reference, here is a map of the ATLA world if you like visuals. Now overall, this would be set pre-Kyoshi era, so pretty near generation wise to the founding of the different groups, so the conflict of the story is not that there is war. It would be more along the lines of what happens when new alliances or dynasties are being formed, and the change that comes with that. Like if you were to take the Yu taming the flood myth, except as a longer narrative.
Earth Kingdom - Mostly focused on internal struggle at the moment for who will rise to power and claim the most territory. Because of this, there is a lot of fighting, assassinations, and backstabbing, hence atla Beomgyu's casual relationship with violence, Hobi traveling from uncertainty, and the need for initially earthbending Jin as the Avatar. There is also the question of whether it is best to have one Earth Kingdom or multiple sovereignties, and the eventual founding of Ba Sing Se will feature heavily into this.
Air Nomads - They would be pretty peaceful and chill during this era, but their arc as an overall group would perhaps focus on how they go from being more of a secondary power and not much of a global player to being known for their diplomacy because of their taught skills in mediating disputes. This is where Huening Kai gets his background from and why he tags along initially with Soobin and Beomgyu. Jimin and Taehyung also go with Jin out of a desire to understand the world and help bring peace.
Water Tribes - The northern and southern tribes are in contention with each other, and though it's not outright fighting, it's very tense. Possibly, they just split from each other just a generation or so back due to differing approaches or views. From here, Namjoon is from the Northern Water Tribe and is the next apparent leader, and he is setting out to meet with the Southern Tribe out of a desire to come to an agreement or treaty of some sorts. Soobin, on the other hand, is next in line for the Southern Water Tribe, and though he is not opposed to peace, he feels pressure to either gather information, sway things to his people's side, or possibly even assasinate Namjoon. He is torn on what is the best thing to do for his people.
Fire Nation - From the elite's perspective, the Fire Nation is stable for its relative newness, but from this more laissez-faire approach to both internal and external politics, there has become a wildly unequal class structure/hierarchy. Out of this resulting anger, Yoongi, among others, begin to lead a grassroots revolution out of a desire for change. He picks up Jungkook along the way, and they are working for better opportunities. While they are far less involved in the conflict, this also adds to the difficulties of logistics between the friendship of Yeonjun and Taehyun - they are both greatly talented, but because Taehyun comes from much more wealth, there are obstacles for Yeonjun to get to have the same opportunities.
From these differing conflicts and character arcs, there will be the eventual resolution of peace or an alliance between the Water Tribes as well as the founding of Ba Sing Se and the creation of peace in the Earth Kingdom.

Anime Update V2 34
Wolf’s Rain - You know shit’s hit the fan when the guy we thought was getting set up as the main villain gets offed at the start of the episode. Yeah, Lord Orkham got assasinated by the forces of the as of now unseen Lady Jaguara, and Hubb Lebewski, who was taken captive by the late noble’s forces, is now on the run, while his ex-wife is still held captive by our other main antagonist, Lord Darcia. And oh man, Darcia shows just how scary and efficient he is here, and by the end has Cheza back in his possession and has thwarted the four main wolves on what could’ve bene a clear pathway to Paradise.
Hunter x Hunter - Caught up to the second anime’s version of where the first anime ended, and then Chrollo used the fortune-telling ability he stole from Neon to read the futures of all Troupe members while Kurapika finally recieves Hisoka’s text message that the Spiders aren’t really dead. And so we’re approaching this arc’s real ending!
Fruits Basket - The episode that introduced Rin Sohma, the Zodiac horse who unfortunately does not meet our main characters this time and doesn’t even transform. The episode was mostly about how Hatsuharu was dealing with his and Rin’s breakup, and how his angst and potential danger to even his loved ones is paralleled with Kyo. Yuki also resolves to return to the Sohma family estate to visit Haru, which took a whole lot of courage and maturity on his part.
Rozen Maiden - My fears were confirmed - “middle school Jun” who has been communicating with adult Jun is not really middle school Jun, but Kirakishou decieving adult Jun into making a body for her. The real middle school Jun is trapped in another realm with Canaria and has been recieving adult Jun’s replies to things he never sent him to begin with! The one character who catches onto what’s really going on here is Suigintou, who of course proceeds to not alert Jun or Shinku to this because she wants to fight Kirakishou when she emerges so that she may claim her Rozen Mystica, oh you evil little shit! This is “Vegeta allows Cell to reach his Perfect form” stuff here!
Fate Zero - Not much in the way of plot advancement this week, just more solid interactions between Saber and Irisveil, and between Gilgamesh and Kirei, who continue to provide some of the best stuff.
Revolutionary Girl Utena - 'Twas the series finale, what all can I really say about it? It was trippy and mind-blowing and eye-opening and heatwrenching and inspiring and...well, revolutionary! And I just loved the conclusion it came to. The Rose Bride/”princess” role truly is worthless to the girl who has it and only benefits the Prince, the “Prince” role itself is toxic and ultimately incapable of breaking through the Rose Gate, Anthy’s lack of self worth and internalized sexism failed her as much as Utena’s own wrong-headed idealism and aspirations to be a Prince failed her, what actually saves Anthy is Utena reaching out to her not as a Prince trying to save the damsel in distress, but as herself believing in her friend, as one young woman in need to another - one lover to another, as their hearts and hands connect. And getting to see Akio get exactly what he deserved twice was so damn satisfying. In the end, Utena did bring the world revolution, but not in the way Akio had ever understood or intended. Everyone’s own “world” is now in revolution, the Rose Bride is slave no more, and Utena is out there somewhere, waiting to be found...
Senki Zesshou Symphogear - The last thing I’d been expecting after last episode was Chris getting taken to Miku’s house and becoming her new friend, that was so sweet! And seeing Chris step up to protect Miku and other civilians put in danger from the Noise attack, Genjuro coming in to protect Chris (who takes off afterwards), Miku taking action to protect others including her estranged friend Hibiki, and of course, Hibiki coming to her rescue as the two of them rekindle their beautiful friendship afterwards. The OTP sails again!
AMC: Tengen Tonpa Gurren Lagann - Got to episode 5, which introduces characters that aren’t exactly favorites of mine, but had a central conflict that was interesting enough to hold my attention the whole way through. Kamina immediatey hating on the high priest due to him reminding of his old villages leader was hilarious, and while he’s left unable to really understand the ways of this village, he turns out to not be entirely off the mark - the high priest essentially is just the village leader disguised by religious doctrine and beliefs he doesn’t truly hold dear. By far the weakest part of the episode was the fight. I could barely make it out, the lighting was so dark and dull!
AND
Akudama Drive - Had to watch this in addition since I’d have no room for it anywhere later in the time remaining of this year. And yeah, I’ve certainly reached the halfway point of this one cours anime. I know this ‘cause main charactes have begun to fucking die!

You know, I read the csm international assasins arc a few days ago and the darkness devil part scared me. I felt so silly honestly, but now I'm anxious how it's going to be adapted into anime.
I'm really excited with seeing that part animated cause I think it's one of the most iconic parts of csm. I hope they keep it as freaky as the manga but ngl I don't know if it'll have the same vibe. At least for the train scene with makima, it felt less creepy in the anime than the manga imo.

I'm so glad people are recognizing that Will is a bad person because I see so many people saying he's inherently good and I'm??? he beat a man to death, ate him and enjoyed it and his dream world is him killing Jack with Hannibal when Hannibal gave him a chance to leave without killing anyone? he's just a bad person
he’s a horrible person! he’s genuinely evil and saying he’s a hero or an inherently pure hearted person ruins his character arc! he’s an incredible character BECAUSE of his internal relationship with darkess and with evil. saying he’s the hero or he’s the golden veined victim who’s been corrupted by a monster is doing his gorgeous character arc a disservice. now that doesn’t mean he isn’t sympathetic - above all, his and hannibal’s literary journey is one of love. the main point of the entire show is that love isn’t always quiet - sometimes it’s bloodsoaked and raw. it takes the phrase ‘bloodlust’ extremely literally. will is someone who enjoys doing evil things to bad people. he doesn’t want to kill just anyone - he wants to kill those that, in his mind, deserve it. he’s fundamentally a justice-driven and empathy-filled character. however, that still doesn’t make him a good person. he willingly kills and cannibalizes several people. will graham is one of my favorite characters ever written, and by saying he’s the hero in the story, his character is assasinated.
#sorry im just so passionate about this gdjdbfj#i love will so much and i do not tolerate people saying he’s an inherently heroic and wonderful person on my page 😤😤😤#lmfao#anon#answered#meta#will#nbc hannibal

I wanted to try my hand at editing in the manga style again, i think i improved quite a bit :]
This time around i tried to make them seem like actual scenes/panels rather than just in style. Al and Pallet's + Calcifer's are from the international assasins arc while Jamie's is from the Katana man arc. As far as ik the fiend bros aren't part of the main story do i just came up w something.
None of these characters are mine so here's the credit section in order of appearance; Alejandro and Pallet from @kiruvry , Change and Repetition fiends from @guzmagobbler , Calcifer from @wandererundeadd and Jamie from @/annonnixx (instagram)
#i am very normal over my friends ocs can you guys tell#the first one took a while (and i remade it entirely by the end cuz it looked bad)#but after that i just got in the zone and breezed through the rest of these#my favorite part of editing is seing how my characters would look in the style of the media they're from#i wanted to share that with a couple friends :]#hope y'all liked the results!#csm#csm oc#others ocs#chainsaw man#hyena scribbles

Colors - Commander Colt
So... I fell in love with another clone today and it’s all @cxptain-rex fault. Anyway Colt is alive and well, haven’t you heard? I’m not sure I got his character right? Let me know what you think xx
"Commander, we need to relocate you to a different station."
The curtain before his bed was hurriedly pushed away by one of the human nurses, that the Kaminoans had imported directly from Coruscant. He wondered what was going on outside.
How long had he spent, staring at nothing, just pressing down on his makeshift bandage, and listening to more wounded people being brought in? Was the battle finally over?
"Why? What's happenin' out there?", Commander Colt slurred, numb.
Maybe now someone would answer his questions, or treat him or do anything but let him wait in silence, alone with his own thoughts.
He didn’t understand how he even made it into that bed in the first place.
He'd come face to face with that Assasin, but somehow he'd made it back to the medbay only half-dead, left to contemplate how he was even alive.
Was that a blessing or a curse?
Images kept flashing in his head. His dead brother's, his men, the walls glowing the color of freshly spilled blood in the light of two sabers.
Maybe dying at their side would have been better than what awaited him. Or maybe that was just the blood loss talking.
"Don't worry, Commander, the battle is over. We simply have too many injured patients. We're receiving help from other healers, so we're going to relocate you to one of them to get you the help you need immediately."
Colt managed a slight nod, watching through hazy eyes as the nurse made the preparations to move him and left him in the care of a medical droid.
For a fraction of a moment, the ARC-Trooper felt fine, peaceful even, like he could just fall into a dreamless sleep and wake up completely healed. He watched tiny droplets of his blood, cascading down his fingers onto the almost too white sheets that he'd hurriedly been covered with.
Somehow, he found it extremely amusing to see the sheets of white being tainted by his blood. If the Kaminoans could see this, they would surely faint at the sight, after all, he was destroying their perfectly sterile environment.
Everything on Kamino was either too white or grey.
"Commander? Commander Colt? Can you hear me?"
The voice that called out to him was new. He realized that immediately because it sounded sweet and lively. Foreign in a place like Kamino. Out of place.
Lively. Nothing about Kamino could be considered lively.
"Blood pressure is dropping. Get him into that OR now!"
The words that the new voice used didn't sink in properly. Was he dying?
Was that against the rules of the GAR? Could he be demoted for that?
Colt didn't really care, not at that moment, feeling so warm and tucked away safely in his own head. Like a big, comfortable blanket had been wrapped securely around him.
That feeling was foreign to him as well. A strange sensation he wasn’t used to but enjoyed nonetheless. So he decided that just for a second he was safe enough to allow his brain to wander freely.
Somehow he came to think of colors again.
Maybe dying meant he would see something other than grey and white again.
What an exciting thought, that for a second, seemed like a reason worth dying for.
------------------------------------
Nothing could have prepared him for the way he felt when he woke up. Everything was too much. Too many people, too much movement, so many signals from the world around him.
The safety and warmth he'd felt had been ripped away. Reality took over where fantasy was too tired to work.
And everything hurt.
"Commander Colt? Can you hear me?"
Colt faintly recognized the voice he heard, calling out to him. It'd been the last voice he'd heard before his brain took over, yet now it sounded less like he was stuck in a dream. It sounded real, so real that he realized it was coming from right beside him.
Just turning his head seemed like almost an impossible task to the usually strong Commander, but tired curiosity got the best of him. Every muscle in his body felt unforgiving and unmoving, as heavy as the durasteel that the LAAT Transports were made of.
Yet when he finally laid his eyes on you, he felt some of the weight drop, pain replaced by (only partly stim-induced) wonder.
You were definitely foreign to Kamino and he definitely hadn't ever met you before. He would have remembered your face, no matter what. Even just the first impression you made on the trooper screamed that you were… different, standing out against your sterile white surroundings.
The fogginess of his brain made it hard to keep his eyes focused, but he wanted nothing more than to keep looking at you. After so much time with the Kaminoans, and their boring white and grey world, you were like a breath of fresh air in the Commander's lungs.
You were color, he decided, because of the way your stunning *eye-color* eyes glowed as you looked at him. And you were Warmth. He couldn’t explain why, but the temperature around you must surely be the exact opposite of the rainy and harsh planet as well. He could just feel it.
Maybe he died after all?
"Welcome back to the world of the living, Commander Colt. You sure made it hard for me to keep you here."
He was entranced, watching as the corners of your mouth pulled upwards into a smile that could only be described as magical.
The inside of his chest burned, flaring up with the overwhelming desire to talk to you, but unfortunately for the trooper, his brain and mouth were not on the same page just yet, leaving him to stare in silence.
"I see you're still enjoying the effects of the anesthetic, Commander. Don't worry, when they wear off there's more where those came from.", you joked, glancing at the charts in your hands again.
When you let your gaze connect with that of the drugged-up Commander again, he looked back at you in awe, clearly still struggling to process things.
"Well, the good news is, surgery was a success. All internal damage was successfully repaired. The bad news is, you're going to need some time to completely heal from a wound like this. So you'll be staying here for a while.”, you explained, slowly sounding out the words in the hope that the trooper would be able to follow them more easily.
Colt needed a second, but then he nodded. Because he did feel tired enough to sleep for at least three rotations. Yet there was a small selfish part of his brain that just wanted to continue listening to your voice.
"Wh- Who are… you?", he managed to press out, realizing just how exhausted he really was.
"My name is Y/n, and it looks like I'll be your healer until you're back up on your feet."
" 's... pretty.", he slurred.
Embarrassment seeped into the mind of the Commander, even through the fog of medication. He most definitely had wanted to say anything but that, but the words had slipped from his mouth before his brain could catch up.
It was worth it, if only for the sparkle of surprise in your eyes and the small laugh that escaped your beautiful lips. Oh, what a heavenly sound.
“Alright Commander, get as much rest as possible. I’ll be back in a couple of hours to check on you again. And remember, if your medication wears off, there’s more where that came from. Just contact a nurse.”, you mused, turning away with a smile that immediately etched itself into Colt’s mind.

So after seeing a bunch of posts about the newest chainsawman chapter, I was like. "Oh wow, Quanxi looks apathetic as shit everything that happened in part 1 must have really gotten to her." And I'm not saying that she is completely fine with what happened, but after thinking that I went ,wait, she was always like that, wasn't she." After rereading the international assasins arc, I can confirm yes. I am simply a dumbass who forgot that she just looks kind of sad all the time. Is she beating some guys ass? Yeah, she looks sad. Being threatened by Makima? Sad. Having sex with her girlfriends? Sad. In actual hell, watching a bunch of people she either knows, loves, or was trying to fight get dismembered? Same expression. To my knowledge, the following images are the only times she doesn't look sad/apathetic.
Now, don't take this as me talking badly about her. Quanxi is one of my favorite characters, and this is in no way a detriment to her character. Hell, having the only time she shows emotion when she's at dinner with her girlfriends just goes to show how much she cares about them. Also I don't anyone thinks that Quanxi doesn't love her girls just gonna put this panel here.
The first devil hunter herself. One of the strongest, most respected characters in the series puts her mission aside for a moment to bring the person who killed the people she cared about to justice. Also, I just want to say if it isn't obvious, I am not taking any of her actions into account during her other appearance outside of this arc in part 1.
So yeah, sorry for the rant about a character I like, but hey, if you got this far, you probably enjoyed it at least a little bit, lol.
