hey has anyone seen this in Portal before? i was replaying the other day and messing with console commands before i actually started making progress - and this is like my 3rd play through so Im pretty sure this is out of place. Is this normal? did it pop up with the console commands? who is this? how do i get rid of it? any help or info is appreciated!

Inktober extra doodle - Interloper

idk if I've talked about my love of args here yet, but tbh I'm not great with puzzles and usually just lurk, waiting for the smarter people to solve everything

Anyway, Interloper updated and I decided to rewatch everything and tried to doodle while watching. It's honestly one of the few horror related that actually freaks me out. It's a bit of a twist on the classic "haunted game", but instead it's a haunted game engine. And idk if it's actually supernaturally haunted or if there is some sort of high sci-fi thing going on? But it's made by a guy who obviously loves source engine and knows a lot about it. And although I will admit I don't fully understand everything going on, I'm still having a lot of fun with it 💖

This is the biggest thing I am interested in at the moment. So sad that Interloper doesn't have a fandom in the conventional sense... We only have a Discord server for the investigations (a couple thousands of people who as confused at what's going on as I am) but there's... no FANDOM. You know what I mean?

There are many characters in this story who, as people (and not people?), are SO INTERESTING, yet there are barely any fanart or them. All with the biggest potential of telling the most heart-wrenching sad story that would compromise our understanding of "human-ness" as we know it... Come on, people?? I'm crying and climbing walls at the Anomidae//Eidamona parallel and the implications...

PLEASE let's make it a fandom. You, yes, you. GO watch it, all episodes, RIGHT NOW!!!

the source engine, the real one with all the working bits not just the games that run on it, including demos that YOU (yes you) can run on your PC & watch? (as a preface, some of the demos & footage move the camera extremely quickly which mimics flashing and could induce eyestrain and/or seizures. please be aware before you watch)

old versions of games / ports to other consoles that are very fucked up & the playground rumors & creepypastas that come from them?

defunct companies who mess with something they don't understand, with hints of employees and other people involved being terribly affected by it?

the continuous research into something that's clearly dangerous, warnings left ignored and resulting consequences brushed off?
