Six kids went missing on the night of October 24, 2012, the typical start to your average Halloween Thriller. No different than any cold case before, or after it, except that one of those kids was Jack’s little brother.

The township Burgess left reeling from utter confusion, Emily Benett in mourning, and Jack traumatized, he searches for his fresh start in a city called Berk, located further up north in Pennsylvania where the clues run dry and the case colder still.

However, while there, he gets evidence from an anonymous source that his brother might still be alive somewhere. Being the person that he is, Jack decides to follow the clues and find his kiddo.

Little does he know that not only will he become even more traumatized from this decision, but he will also endanger the lives of more than eight of his peers. One of which made the idiodic decision to fall in love with him. Bad news for Jack because despite everything, he can't help but absolutely swan dive from cloud nine.

Nozomi’s voice is soft as she asks. Akko shrugs, trying to get everyone out of here.

“I’ve just been calling her the pharmacist this whole time. Have a nice day, thanks for the help, byeee~! See you next month!”

Akko forces a grin on and chides in before the pharmacist can respond, leading the way out.

As they leave, you can hear bits and pieces of their conversation.

“Aki-? What was that, are you okay?”

“I’m fine I’m fine I just. Need to get home and hurl. Pain just got a little worse, I’m okay! Promise!”

“Heya~ I’m here for the antidote refill!”

Three kids walk in- it’s the bear girl, her girlfriend, and the guy that was carrying her last time. She seems oddly cheery- almost as if she’s forcing it so her friends won’t worry. Her girlfriend’s holding her remaining hand, and the guy seems to be looking around casually seeing as he doesn’t have to watch the short one.

[that girl. In the back. This is where you found her before-]

[oh god. The blood and her memory. You hated the implications.]

[that corner, where she sat. She seemed so lonely...The thought of her tired eyes and small composure...]

[...that corner, a machine. It's blade doused in blood. It hasn't been cleaned]

[....a meat grinder?]

[your eyes widened at the thought. You quickly covered your mouth and shook your head, trying to rid yourself of the disgusting thought...]

[..Finally, you arise. Your legs are shaky, your head and hair damp with blood and cold sweat. What the hell are you doing here? How did you get here..?]

[you recollect what happened....Did she hit you over the head, or did you pass out? Perhaps, your head hit the floor too hard. Whatever it was, it didn't matter now. Now, your priority was to get ou-]

You're awake.

[..the pharmacist. She looked so oddly bleak. So...empty]

Took you long enough..he..haha...

[ah, that smile. But it just wasn't the same. Her eyes were narrowed, her arms in her coat pocket. She continued to chuckle]

hmph...I thought I told you before. She's dead...you know, I hate repeating myself. It's so fucking annoying. I fucking hate it.

[She turned her head to you, inching closer]

[She turned to the machine, putting her finger inside and swiping the blood off of the blades. She put her thumb in her mouth, wiping her mouth]

This life, wasn't alive either.

[Your eyes drifted towards the machine, a shiver down your spine following along. You swiftly looked behind you towards the corner of the room, thinking of that girl]
