Waterlily Steel's colored tumblers were curated by a local female artist and based on the painting by Claude Monet that you see here. Monet was guided by an intense interest in the natural world and in art, much like us. He had a desire to document the French countryside in particular. Monet ended up with a method where he painted the same scene many times so as to capture the changing of light and the passing of the seasons.
