I have a head canon that before he was mortal Apollo is an ok parent by godly standards. He has a lot of kids, they seem like they aren't angry towards him and he knows most of his kids in TOA even though he can't remember much else. It's like He's full of himself but that carries over to his kids. He's the center of the universe, perfect, amazing, the literal sun. His kids half of him so they're ALSO perfect, amazing, talented and the best. I really can't think of a Apollo kid that went to Luke's side so I think it's cus they know exactly where they stand with their godly parent. Obviously he's still a God so he wasn't like at their little league games but his cabin knows he thinks about them.

There's something about how Jace was always short for Jonathan (Jonathan Christopher -> JC -> Jace), but no one used his full name until they knew he was Valentine's son. Jonathan Wayland can have a nickname and be welcomed into a family, but Jonathan Morgenstern must be kept apart. They're stripping away his individual identity. He's not Jace, he's Jonathan Morgenstern the son of Valentine. Even Luke is using the more formal name, how Jocelyn must have referred to her son when they were young.

I wonder if Jace always hated being called Jonathan, or if he only stopped considering it to be his name once people started using it as a tool to remind him that he's no longer one of theirs. A large part of Jace's struggle in City of Ashes is about his relationship with Valentine, how he recognizes the evil he's done and yet still loves him as a child loves their father. He can't tell Maryse that he hates Valentine unconditionally, but he can say that he hates the name Valentine gave him, the one he always used for him.

This is because songs are charting for longer. In the 60s, songs would often chart 12-14 weeks. By 1973 it was not uncommon for songs to chart for 20 weeks or more.

Mike was born in Reading, England. He never charted before or after. The original album version ran 49 minutes over both sides of an LP. The single version was cut to four minutes and 36 seconds and featured prominently in The Exorcist. Mike was 19 at the time and played most of the instruments himself. Mike has 33 album releases from this, his first, to 2023, including the soundtrack to The Killing Fields.

Headcanon that Eddie has surprisingly good hand-eye coordination so that even if he doesn’t like sports or participate in any, if he gets dragged into a game of some kind he manages to do okay.

The kids learn this at a pool party when Dustin throws a nerf football at him and Eddie catches it then throws it back to hit Dustin square in this forehead. They all lose their minds over how he did that and Steve is just in awe.

Robin teases Steve mercilessly about jock mating rituals later because somehow Eddie throwing a football impressed him more than anything else.
