i didn’t have “the 100 suddenly becomes popular again” on my 2024 bingo card but i do think it’s incredibly funny that lexa is still ~the face~ of the show even when the controversy isn’t mentioned

#to be fair the first 3 seasons are great #well…first 2.5 seasons #the grounders??? 10/10. the premise of an outside force changing the dynamic of these tribe like groups? 10/10 #the execution of the show? ehhhhh #this show could have been so so so much better #and I’ll be forever disappointed that it wasn’t #like they didn’t NEED to give scientific explanations to certain things. it could just be….superstition?#it really ended up tying itself in knots the longer it went on #instead of having the occasional scientific explanation or modern device etc etc #they really tried to jam the science into the fiction and it rarely worked out particularly compellingly
