📗 While carefully holding his tray of hot food and steadily walking, Izuku occasionally scanned the lunch room, searching for familiar blond hair paired with taunting words. The already seated classmates of 1-A peacefully ate with chatter among themselves, no sign of Monoma to disrupt them.

It's still early. Maybe he's in line?

Head turned to the queue, briefly checking for one student but with everyone in the same uniform, how could Midoriya expect himself to spot Monoma at a glance? For a closer look, he headed back towards the line, avoiding bumping into anyone--- "Oh." Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a familiar figure walking to an empty table. He watched from behind but, Izuku was sure that blond stood at the right height and strolled at the same gait as Neito.

As unwelcoming as his insults and pesterings were, a piece of Izuku could admit ... regardless of what Neito actually said to them, he was still effortlessly charming. Learning a thing or two from the suave student from Class 1-B would hopefully help the more awkward teen.

"Monoma!" Once in range, he called out and stepped a little faster until meeting the blond face to face. A light grin graced his features, pleased he was right in recognizing Neito. "Mind if we eat together? You're exactly who I'm looking for." Considerate as he was, Modoriya checked his surroundings, remembering someone else may have already wanted to join Monoma. "That is... if it's okay with Kendo?"
