you're getting ready for one of tara yummy's iconic party's it being more difficult then usual because you forgot to buy anything and digging through your wardrobe has shown itself to be quite the chore.

you end up settling on a black mini dress with black heels and a simple hairstyle with a black bow to match.

once you get to the party you look around for your best friend, nicole. you know she would immediately go to the drinks so thats what you do and to no suprise she's stood there mixing a million different vodkas into her cup.

"you look cute." she looks up confused but her face immediately lights up when she see's it's you.

"hey! oh my- you look amazing!"

you give eachother a quick side hug before she carries on with mixing her drink while speaking to you.

"guess who's here?" she looks at you and your eyebrows raise curiously.

"chris." your face drops immediately. chris is your ex and you ended on quite bad terms but honestly you kind of forgot about him until he was just brought up.

you never fully got over him.

"really? is he with anyone?" she smirks at your question and you sigh.

"im just asking." you mix yourself your own drink before nicole wanders off with a random guy who you actually believe is chris's brother, matt.

you walk back through the crowded kitchen to the even busier living room which is when you spot chris who bites his bottom lip and looks you up and down before walking over which makes you gulp as you freeze where you're stood.

"long time no see. princess." you sigh at the use of the pet name you hated so much even while you we're dating, making his stupid smirk get even bigger you can just smell the scent of weed coming off his clothes.

"yeah. seems a good thing." he lets out a small laugh at your stubborness and nudges your shoulder.

"you still mad?"

"i was never mad. it was a mutual decision to end it, i dont get why you're telling everyone different." you look at him as you speak before looking foward, sipping your drink as he responds.

"cause what kind of guy would people think i am if they knew a pretty girl like you ended it with a guy like me?" he laughs arrogantly and you sigh.

"i can see your ego is just as big as it was before."

he smirks and leans down to whisper in your ear.

"thats not the only thing thats big about me and you know it."

you scoff in disgust and he smiles at your reaction.

"what? no denial huh?" he looks down at you as you're trying to suppress your smile.

"shutup." you quickly finish your drink and his eyes widen.

"woah. slow down on the drinking princess. we want you responsive by the end of the night."

just as you go to argue back everyone starts to count down to the new year, chris looks straight into your eyes and as they get to 1 he grabs your chin and kisses you without a second thought.

you freeze and it takes you a second to register whats happening before you relax and kiss him back for a few seconds before pulling back and looking up at him as his hands creeps down to squeeze your ass, something he used to do all the time while you were dating.

"happy new year ma."

you smile and pull your dress down slightly as his hand grips your waist.

"upstairs in 5. yeah?"

you nod as he smirks at you and walks away to the kitchen.

a/n- i have an idea for part 2 of this but i honestly dont think ill go through with it. happy new year whenever yours is :)

You were sitting in your bed with your eyes glued to your phone as you scrolled through the comment section of your latest Instagram post. Everything inside of you wanted to peel your eyes away from the illuminated screen in front of you, but you couldn’t. You were reading hate comment after hate comment and it didn’t seem like you would be able to look anyway anytime soon.

Your mind didn’t skip over the fact that Paige had probably seen the comments and been getting tagged in videos of you acting like a bop, according to the internet. You couldn’t even begin to imagine what could possibly be going through Paige’s mind as she sees the comments and the videos, you just hoped that you would be able to inform her that none of it was true or all the videos are before the two of you got together, most of them being before you even knew one another.

You set your phone down and laid your head against the backboard of the bed as hot tears started to stream from your eyes, the sensation of the tears made your eyes seem like they were burning from the sudden water taking over them. Your fingers brushed against your cheeks as you tried to clean your face of any dried tears until you heard a notification ding from your phone.

This just caused even more tears to spill from your eyes. You had no idea where people were even getting this information from. You had been on a cruise with Paige in the past week and were with her every second. Sure, maybe you had drank with some of your friends on the ship, with Paige there, but no photos were taken due to her wanting to keep her social media clean for her younger audience. Everything people were saying, just wasn’t true, and you hoped that Paige wouldn’t believe them.

You found yourself in the same cycle as earlier as you went finding more comments, almost like it was addicting, until the door to your guys shared room opened and a blonde basketball player walked in, “Baby, what’s wrong?” was the first thing she asked as she dropped her bags to the floor and quickly made her way to the bed to hold you in her arms.

You found yourself pulling away from Paige’s grasp, just disgusted with yourself and not finding yourself worthy to be in her arms due to all the rumors being spread, even though no part of them were true. “It’s not true, ya know?” your voice cracked, as your eyes were looking down at your hands in your lap. But, when you looked up you were met with Paige’s eyebrows bent up, showing a clear sign of confusion. “The comments and all the videos you’re being tagged in. The videos are before I even met you,” was all you could get out as you looked at your girlfriend sitting so beautifully in front of you.

“I know Y/N. I was literally with you on the cruise. Some jealous ass people aren’t gonna gaslight me into thinking that you did something you didn’t,” her hand found its way to your exposed arm as her fingers gently glided up and down it, trying to ease your worries.

“Thank you,” you rubbed the tears from your face as your lips pulled into a small smile and your eyes met her blue ones. Her hand reached up to cup your cheek as she pulled you into a soft kiss. Her lips were soft against yours, showing her pure and utter adoration for you. Paige’s hand moved to the back of your neck, causing all the small hairs there to stand up, as your body became filled with goosebumps.

When she pulled away, her forehead rested against your own, your proximity so close you could smell the shampoo she used from her recently washed hair. You were happy to have her here and be wrapped up in everything about her.

“Plus, I know you’re only a slut for me,” the blonde said, breaking the comfortable silence between you two.

“Paige!” you giggled, shoving her away from you jokingly.

“Too soon?”

“Yes”

mirrorball!reader. . .meets chris for the first time ♡

this was what you had been waiting for. you and chris had been flirting over instagram dm’s for weeks now. finally, your talking stage had gotten up the nerve to invite you to one of the infamous sturniolo brother parties, with the added sweetness of asking you to come over early to pregame. 

you knew these parties were for only the most popular of influencers, with people like sam and colby and tara yummy on the guest list. that’s why you’d made the executive choice to bring your best friend, a nursing student, with you. you knew chris wouldn’t mind; in fact, he’d even said himself in a message to you that he was wrapped around your finger. 

your hands shook as you stepped out of the uber. this was the first real LA party you had been to since your socials blew up. you were an absolute social butterfly, but knowing celebrities would be around you tonight was slightly nerve wracking. 

your best friend followed you up the steps to the front door of the triplet’s enormous home. refusing to drop your confident demeanor, you knocked on the door while your best friend stood behind you, anxiously picking at her sparkly, pink minidress.

shortly after the first knock, the door flew open, revealing chris in a backwards, red baseball cap and a red and gray jersey. “hey,” he smiled, eyes raking over your body that was clothed in a short, black dress. “ya look good.”

you blushed at the compliment, allowing chris to lead you two through the house to the kitchen. the house was massive. sure, the money you had started to make from social media definitely helped pay for your dorm, but this was another level of fame. the kitchen was already filled with people, despite chris saying it would be a “small” pregame. not to mention, most of the attendees were people with millions of followers and subscribers. 

“drinks?” chris asked, gesturing to the array of liquor bottles on the granite countertop. 

you made sure that you and your friend both poured your own drinks, well aware of the party scene. despite your nerves, the next few moments flew by. talking to chris, especially when there was a cup in your hand, was easy. it felt natural, like you had known each other for ages and not just through instagram dms. 

“you wanna go to my room?” chris asked you abruptly. “only if you want to.” he added hastily. 

you smiled, eyes trained on his moist, pink lips. “i’d love to.” you replied, the alcohol beginning to take effect. 

as chris led you towards the stairs, you looked back at your friend, who had been swept up into a conversion with chris’ quieter brother, matt. “good luck.” she mouthed, giving you a wink.

the lower level of the sturniolo household was quieter as chris pushed open the door to his bedroom. it was rather neat, which just made your heart more fond of chris. you hated boys who didn’t even clean up for you to come over. 

“y’know…you’re different,” chris hummed, inviting you to sit on the bed with him. “but i like it a lot. you see past the whole…famous thing.”

“i do know that outward appearances aren’t everything.” you explained, taking another sip of your drink. 

by now, chris was beginning to scoot closer to you, clearly nervous. “i just think that we have really good conversations and i dunno, i feel like you just-”

the boy was cut off by you caressing the side of his cheek with your manicured hand. “chris. shut up and kiss me.” you giggled. 

chris turned scarlet red at your wonders, realizing he was that obvious. “happily.” he murmured, hand coming up to caress your neck. 

and with that, his lips met your own, starting the beginning of what would be the best, and most therapeutic, period of your life.
