Elijah comes off as a warm and friendly gentleman of the sorts. He strives to give the best customer service to keep the shop alive and afloat. His shop is nearby college grounds so a lot of the time that’s who fills the place with study sessions or using the few computers around for research and homework - he has them there more for that reason, for the ones that can’t afford a laptop or sometimes who just don’t want to go home. He does in fact have a heart for those in need, but he rarely lets it show. Or so he tries. The more someone gets to know him though the more they can really see how genuine Elijah is, but he does have a cold front and a few steel walls that have to be broken down.

He had an abusive childhood; both of his parents were addicts and they took everything out on him or used him to get drugs or money once he hit the age of about seven. Emotional, mental, physical and sexual abuse was laid out in front of him and to him early on. Him and his parents lived in and out of homeless shelters, but Elijah’s grandfather took him in as often as he could but never rescued him from the abuse at home completely. Not until his parents died - his mom passing away from an OD when Elijah was thirteen. He and his dad had gotten into an argument a few months later and his father stabbed him near the front of his ribs, and he still has a scar there from it. Elijah never dealt with the trauma in his life, he suppressed it, not having any idea or real direction - he let it all simmer into anger. He lived on and off the streets and with his grandfather until he was sixteen. He was never going to try and rekindle things with his father, but he made one last trip to the shelter to gather his own things - which was just a few books and a guitar. Another fight started from his drunk father though, smashing the guitar over Elijah’s back and he snapped. Elijah didn’t realize where he was till, he was miles away from the shelter, covered in sweat and blood and he might not have a memory of what happened but never hearing from his dad again he could take a guess.

After that his grandfather let him move in, sleeping on the couch in the front room, he had to work to stay. This meant getting up at 4am and starting coffee down in the store for the early risers and working all day till about 9pm. He didn’t get an education past 8th grade and even that was spotty, but he read a ton and researched on late nights when he couldn’t sleep. His dream was to be a teacher but that never happened. Elijah’s grandfather ran a respected store and once he was 18, he let Elijah in on what more there was to his store. The basement. The door is in the storage closet, steel and with a high tech alarm on it. The basement is full of shelves and bookcases, glass cases and set apart storage of things people couldn’t even dream about. Demons, witches, devils. Shifters, metas - everything not of this world or what he thought wasn’t part of this world. The basement held ancient books, artifacts and a lot more like that.

His grandfather started teaching him the ropes of running the place, taking over and how to handle the supernatural. He did well dealing and learning and coming across all sorts of creatures and beings - he set his own questionnaire to decide if he was going to help someone/something in whatever they were searching for or whatever quest they were on. He is not a magic user, but he can do some basic common knowledge if he needs to. He prefers not to get his hands dirty though because that’s how his grandfather died. He made a deal that he couldn’t follow through and when Elijah was 21, he was taken from him. His grandfather wasn’t the most kind, but he taught him all he knows and he’s grateful for him regardless. Now the store falls on his shoulders and he only had a few years of practice, so he quickly fell into a workaholic.

“Thomas Coffee and Books” Is three floors, the top is Elijah’s apartment. It’s old and very lived in but he keeps the space he has clean. It was an old speakeasy so there’s a hatch that has a ladder to it in the back of the store and it’s a small living room and kitchen, a bathroom down a hallway off to one side and his bedroom at the end of it all. The middle floor is the coffee/bookstore and the third is the basement that stays locked during business hours.

Smutty Blog Introduction

Hello fellow earthlings! I’ve been debating for a while now on whether or not to become more active on this platform. Given the short nature (ish) of the content here, it seems like a good option given that I’m currently quite busy with Uni and other life stuff in general, but still feel that writer’s itch and wish to write down thoughts and ideas to explore some creative avenues. Now, for that to happen, I’m more than happy to take requests, given that I’m a part of quite a few fandoms. I’ll also add the characters I’d be willing to write for, so you guys get an idea as to what to expect.

That being said, this is a blog largely dedicated to all the smutty fics I come up with, so it’ll mostly be one-shots, drabbles, headcannons, NSWF alphabets, etc. I reserve the right to not write certain stuff because, well, I might not be into it (this includes underage stuff and noncon, straight off the bat, sorry, that’s just how it is). Other than that, please feel free to send me an ask of a request. Under the cut are a list of characters I’ll happily write for since I’ve watched/binged the show and have plenty of inspo for them.
