Today’s Halloween Weekend Tour is Ruth’s home, “Where Goth Meets Glam.”

This is the Horror Garden. (Is that bird crap on the wall? That is a real horror.)

The wreath was a TJ Maxx find and Ruth says the photo doesn’t do it justice.

The kitchen is very tight, but there are plans to knock a wall down and make it open.

Tumblr media
This room was her safe haven. It was the only room in the flat that guests never entered and the door had a lock for when she was working magic or really needed the alone time.
Tumblr media
The dressing room is a work-in-progress which is why Ruth only shows parts of rooms, until they’re fully finished.

The Women of Euphoria and Personal Style: Lookbook no.8
Tumblr media
Hi to anyone reading,
I hope you’re well considering everything going on! It feels weird to want to talk about fashion or TV shows or red carpets or whatever when 90% of my Google searches are COVID-19 related but there you go. It’s all about trying to power through as normal (minus the social interaction) and pretend the world isn’t ending, right? Queue nervous laughter.
And as if things aren't shitty enough, production of season 2 of Euphoria has been postponed until further notice.
Okay, in the grand scheme of things, having to wait a bit longer for a TV show isn’t catastrophic but it does just about sum up the transition from 2019 to 2020 thus far that after HBO redeemed itself by broadcasting Euphoria in the summer following an ending to Game of Thrones that has made the whole series unrewatchable, the glimmer of hope in me reignited by the prospect of series 2 this year has been quickly dashed. 2021, I’m rooting for you, because it doesn’t seem like things are getting better any time soon, and in all seriousness, I think everyone needs a break from the collective suffering of the last few months.
For me (and undoubtedly for many others if the hundreds of makeup looks and styling videos are anything to go by), Euphoria’s effect on the world of fashion and beauty is unprecedented. I really can’t recall a TV show in living memory that has had as much of an impact on the way young people dress. I mean, this might partially be because the style of the characters already kind of caters to and draws from the target audience but also, aside from Blair Waldorf did anybody really give THAT much of a fuck about what anybody in Gossip Girl wore?
The draw of the styling on Euphoria is that it has something for everyone. The style of each of the main girls, Rue, Kat, Maddy, Jules and Cassie, all of whom I’ve attempted (emphasis on attempted!) to base (emphasis on base!) outfits around, is varied and distinctive but still so current and realistic at the same time. It’s also consistent; even if you don’t own the specific pieces worn by any of them, similar shapes and details reoccur enough in different looks throughout the series that it’s not hard to create an outfit which matches your favourite character’s overall vibe without buying anything new. That’s kinda what I have attempted to do here and without further ado, I’m gonna get on with it! First up:
Jules (Played by Hunter Schafer)
When it comes to whose style is the most experimental, Jules is the obvious answer. A lot of her outfits are what I imagine a cartoonist in the near-distant future will envision their cool girl protagonist wearing. Whilst her ensembles are generally whimsical and girly for the most part, there’s usually a few slightly punk-ish finishing touches thrown in there too be it through chunky shoes or bold makeup or that incredible mesh trench coat she wears in the series finale with the trans symbol on the back which, honestly, deserves a moment of silence.
Tumblr media
There are definitely nods to current fashion trends sprinkled throughout her wardrobe too. I'm not going to lie, despite someone at work seemingly thinking it was an insult to tell me I look like someone who does (I still don’t know but this person has a Rick and Morty keyring so I don’t give it too much weight), I’ve never watched any anime. BUT, that being said, given the abundance of anime screenshots posted by all these aesthetic oriented Instagram and Tumblr moodboard accounts, I have a vague idea of what some of the more iconic characters look like and a lot of Jules’ looks seem to be very much modelled after or at least inspired by them. In a way, I see a lot of her looks as a blend between modern “e-girl”, Y2K skater chick (yes, I’m thinking early Avril Lavigne), and 2013 Tumblr “hipster” a la 2014 Joanna Kutcha and Charlie Barker, and though on paper that sounds like a nightmare combination, it works. I know-if that sentence were a Depop description I would’ve just gained 30 followers.
Tumblr media
When it comes to my own interpretation of Jules’ style, it’s definitely something I like to channel when I’m putting together a proper OUTFIT outfit. Meaning an outfit I actually put effort into and thus will most likely want to get a good photo in, lol. The way her character dresses is almost quite Christopher Kane in that it’s fresh and unusual but still understated enough that I wouldn’t walk into a room wearing any of these feeling like I’m doing a Rick Owens runway.
Tumblr media
I’m not TOO far out of my comfort zone but still at the same time, I’d be trying something new and maybe a little bit more zany than I'm used to. As for noting where any of these pieces are from, only a few have been bought in the last 6 months, but from left to right clockwise I have marked out those that have in case they’re still available (though be wary of the fact that it seems a lot of online clothes stores are still forcing warehouse employees to work in close confines at the moment and so perhaps aren’t operating the most ethically):

Kat (Played by Barbie Ferreira)
Tumblr media
Eurgh, Kat.
I LOVE THIS BITCH.
If I had to choose my favourite character in the show, it would be a very close toss-up between her and Rue, and though I think Rue might just about nab the top spot for her relatability factor, Kat is the girl I want to be or wish that I had been when I was at school. I mean, there’s definitely an argument to be made in that a lot of what she’s doing with her cam work could be seen as a means of validation (Sam Levinson has basically said everyone on the show has some kind of an unhealthy coping mechanism and I would guess due to the circumstances in which her cam girl career was borne and the fact she’s underage, this would be hers) but I do think in other ways we really see Kat reclaim her power and recognise herself for the smart, capable, gorgeous woman that she is. Honestly, the definition of divine feminine energy, and I would completely let Barbie Ferreira/basically Kat if she was also actually 23 dominate me.
Plus! Her! Style! Is! The! Bomb! Definitely the easiest character to base looks around because if I’m totally honest Kat’s energy is pretty much just what I want to emulate in every day life.
Tumblr media
It’s either pieces that are typically feminine, cutesy, and even slightly preppy at times drenched in everything grunge OR vice versa where you have something semi-gothic and then add a colourful, more playful touch in there that harks back to the beginning of the series before Kat had began to explore her identity and sexuality and dressed slightly more Forever 21.
Tumblr media
I’d say, not yet with my whole chest, that on a good day the outfits I put together when making an effort aren’t too far off something Kat would wear, minus the more overtly BDSM touches; if wearing a ring choker in London is enough to get me a creepy comment from a gross middle aged shopkeeper (because I apparently forfeited my right not to be perved on when I decided to buy a bottle of Oasis summer fruits), then you can only imagine the kind of looks wearing a full-on harness would get in my conservative OAP dominated hometown. Not the most doable right now, especially considering the only time I get out is to work and to go for a run. The chafing I could deal with but the horrified glares of pensioners whose M&S prawn mayo sandwiches I’ve ruined by simply being in their eyesight not so much.

Maddy (Played by Alexa Demie)
Tumblr media
Not gonna lie, I was kind of scared to do Maddy. I’m scared to be posting this, lol! Alexa Demie has played this character for a single season and she’s already one of the most iconic women to grace our screens in years. This is a huge undertaking and I don’t have the bank balance or the body confidence (lmao) to raid IAmGia.
And this is where I want to stress: THESE ARE NOT OUTFIT RECREATIONS. THESE ARE INSPIRED BY. I HAVE ADDED ELEMENTS OF MY OWN STYLE INTO THEM. PLEASE DON’T DRAG ME. I KNOW, I’M NOT ALEXA DEMIE. I WOULD NEVER ASSUME TO BE ALEXA DEMIE. I’M NOT ABOUT TO TAKE THE LORD’S NAME IN VAIN LIKE THAT. So now we’ve got that out the way (wipes bead of sweat off forehead), let’s continue.
Everything about Maddy Perez is extra. She has very much been established as a centre of attention character, and her outfits are a key part of that. They’re daring, they’re hyper-feminine, and they are always glamorous. We’re told that she competed in beauty pageants when she was younger and it’s clear that level of excess and coordination and glitz and all-round-boujeeness wormed its way into her DNA during that time. Even the “depression” outfit she wears to school following Nate becoming violent at the fair is costume-like, a 2019 Bratz doll Off-White street style collaboration.
Tumblr media
Do you know how HARD I had to try to be HOT!? For these photos. Alexa Demie is one of those blessed women who doesn’t have to try at all, and that translates into the character completely. At any given moment, Maddy could add or remove one item or clothing and be let straight into the VIP section of a club, and that, honestly, is inspiring to us all in these dark times.
Tumblr media
One thing I tried to keep in mind is that she always looks polished and coordinated, I.E the kind of look I would prepare for a night out is something Maddy would wear on an average day. Co-ords and delicate prints seem to be more subtle wardrobe staples along with mesh and PVC and glitter and feathers and fur and basically anything that toes the line between expensive looking and tacky. Yes, I am aware we may toe different sides of that line but please let me stay delusional and believe that’s not the case for 5 minutes. Much appreciated xoxo

Rue (Played by Zendaya Coleman)
Tumblr media
I have a complicated relationship with Rue as a character. When I started season 1 of Euphoria, I was like “Oh my god, this girl is the worst. Jesus, she’s so negative and draining and willingly self-destructive and-”
Then, oh my god is this what it’s like to live with me!?
I will say, to my own credit, that I don’t think I've ever been quite as hard to deal with as Rue (a lot less smashing stuff up and a lot more moping), and to HER credit, by the end of the season we come to realise she’s been through a fucking lot and so it makes sense, but wow. I don’t think I have ever seen a teen show handle drug abuse and mental illness in such a brutal way. It’s quite a talent to be able to show a character cause so much pain to those closest to them and yet do so through a sympathetic lens. And issues aside, whether it’s her occasional social awkwardness or her relationship with her family or watching bloody Love Island (still quite surreal to see Zendaya Coleman witnessing the Amy/Curtis drama unfold), Rue is just my favourite character to follow.
Her style, though. AH. The thing is, I can hardly drag it, because it’s pretty much what I wear when I’m moping about the house-or just any time I can get away with it to be honest-to a T. I want to stay true to character, but that being said, creating a “Seth Rogen”-esque outfit that’s worth posting on here is difficult. So, with the same kind of artistic license that had me wearing berets whilst cosplaying Maddy Perez, here is the best I could do:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I know, I know, it’s probably too much colour and jewellery for Rue but this is as toned down as I could do and I tried to stick with the key silhouettes we see from her throughout the season; I mean, I can’t see her wearing leopard print but the structure of the coat in outfit 1 is very similar to the one seen in Shook Ones pt.II. I think the bottom line when it comes to her character is keeping things effortless and not overly-feminine; you want to mix street style, athleisure and your dad’s wardrobe favourites like your life depends on it. Plus messy hair and smudged makeup, both of which I’ve already got down according to the completely inappropriate number of customers who’ve asked if I'm tired at work so thanks for that guys, and glitter tears. Lots and lots of glitter tears.

Cassie (Played by Sydney Sweeney)
Tumblr media
Style-wise, Cassie is a hard one. When putting outfits for her character together, I found myself gravitating towards a direction that’s probably a bit too bohemian for her character, under the guidance of loose terms like “girl-next-door”, “floaty”, “delicate”, you get the idea. She definitely feels the least fully-realised in terms of all the main girls and I think it’s fair to say she’s probably got a bit of self-discovery to do. Most of her storylines in the season are dictated by her relationships to other people: McKay, Maddy, Lexie, her parents and so on.
Nevertheless, I tried to stick to the airier, more traditionally “pretty” pieces whilst still channelling the confidence and ease with which Cassie pulls them off. Sydney Sweeney has the most incredible figure and I feel like whilst the clothes the on-set stylists put her in flatter that and don’t hide anything, they’re still the focus. It doesn’t feel like there’s anything more inherently sexual about her character than any of the other main female characters despite the way the men within the narrative view her, and I think it’s a testament to the the wardrobe department that to me she still gives off big modern Disney princess energy and a certain innocence even whilst we hear her being continuously sexualised by her male peers.
Tumblr media
If anything, Cassie probably dresses the most like an actual teenage girl, and her style, whilst less distinctive than the other girls, still does a good job of capturing the youth and romanticism of her character.
Tumblr media
The colour palette of her wardrobe tends to be quite neutral, with a couple of pastels thrown in there, and if there are any details, they’re usually quite dainty. Similarly, Cassie is probably the least experimental when it comes to her makeup; we don’t really see her wearing the bold eyeshadows or liners or gems like the other girls at any point.

SO, I guess that’s it for my Euphoria lookbook! As always, let me know what you think (nicely pls, my ego is fragile lol) and I’d love to hear your opinions on the show too! I really haven’t got this excited over a new TV show in ages and I just think that it does everything so excellently-from the writing to the cinematography to the soundtrack, you can tell each element is so carefully and purposefully constructed. It immerses you into the dramatic highs and lows of being a teenager in a way I haven’t seen since UK Skins and I never thought I’d watch a show which held a candle to that.
In terms of what I’m doing next, I’ve got a very delayed fashion week masterpost in the works as well as something to fill the Met Gala shaped hole in our lives, which I hope to get up over the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, if you read to the end, THANK YOU! And I hope you’re staying safe and AT HOME where possible. I know this self-isolation feels never-ending and if I’m honest, it is having a hugely negative effect on my mental health, but NHS staff are doing their very best with the shitty recourses they have and whilst it seems that our government have thrown workers under the bus once again, we can all do our bit to combat that by slowing the spread of the virus. Also thank you to anybody who’s out working now in such a scary and uncertain time! I work at a grocery store and can say from experience that the best way to show this thanks is just through kindness and following employee’s instructions without giving them grief for it. Everyone’s scared right now and the best we can do is pull together and look out for each other, as difficult as that might seem at times.
Anyway, sorry for the ramble, and like I said, stay safe! Thanks once again if you read til the end or even if you’re just here for the photos. Appreciate it more than you know either way!

Dive Brief:
Retailer T.J. Maxx debuted a new multicity interactive game built around the idea of "Maxximizing," which is used in the brand's messaging to convey that shoppers don't need to sacrifice quality or price to find items that are right for them, according to a news release.
T.J. Maxx is partnering with five "tastemakers" on different product installations in New York City from March 5-7 and in Los Angeles from March 14-16. The installations include Maxximize Your Style curated by actress Hannah Simone, Maxximize Your Vacay curated by lifestyle blogger and mom Rachel Choy, Maxximize Like a Boss curated by Drybar founder Alli Webb, Maxximize Your HQ curated by interior designer and TV personality Jeremiah Brent and Maxximize Your "Me Time" with curlBOX founder Myleik Teele.
Consumers can view the pods in person or on Instagram @TJMaxx using hashtag #Maxximizing and guess the total cost of the items. The person who most closely guesses the cost of each pod will have the chance to win its full contents or a T.J. Maxx gift card of equal value. The pods can also be viewed on the curators' social channels
Dive Insight:
T.J. Maxx is taking advantage of marketing trends like pop-up stores, influencers and Instagram contests in its new interactive push, while also banking on the popularity of gamified experiences. The effort should help the retailer engage consumers and spread its core message that it offers trendy, quality items at a lower cost than traditional retailers. The guess-the-price game will let T.J. Maxx show off its inventory, and combined with the contest, could encourage more social media interaction and engagement with a mostly younger crowd, who make up the majority of Instagram's user base.
The campaign arrives as T.J. Maxx's recent marketing appears to be resonating with consumers. The retailer showed strong gains in loyalty leadership in the Brand Keys 2018 Loyalty Leaders report. The TJX Companies, which operates T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, Home Goods and others, reported a net sales increase of 12% to $9.8 billion for Q3 2018, with comp sales rising 7% year over year. The increase was driven by "strong customer traffic," according to the company, with same-store sales up across brands, including 9% at the company's Marmaxx operations, which includes T.J. Maxx.
Featuring installations curated by celebrities, influencers and other brands is one way to offer memorable experiences to shoppers, who often enjoy product recommendations. Pop-up events are a trend more brands are embracing to deliver unique experiences and allow consumers to engage with their favorite brands in real life. The events often drive extended social media interaction and build brand loyalty.
Instagram is a key platform for fashion and home brands, as many people use the site for style inspiration. Consumers also see influencers, which T.J. Maxx is relying on in this campaign, as more authentic and trustworthy than other sources for product recommendations.

Just 30 minutes of screen time with captions ON is like reading 30 pages of a 5th grade book, motivating struggling readers to ‘Be. CAPTION.COOL’
Tumblr media
during TV, online shows, and games.
TROY, Ohio (Sept. 2, 2020) — Recognizing that 65% of American children are not proficient in reading—yet spend hours daily “glued” to screens—the new #captionsON Reading Campaign educates parents and teachers that screen time can be a form of reading time. All TV’s and channels, as well as online videos and most games, have built-in Closed Captioning functionality (CC), and it is easy, free, and cool to click captions ON. The #captionsON campaign is geared toward kids ages 8-12 but can benefit anyone with literacy challenges.
Many educators and parents have a visceral reaction against students spending time looking at screens, but screen time can and should be productive,” said Leib Lurie, Caption.Cool  Founder and co-founder of Kids Read Now. “With captions on, 30 minutes of screen time has a similar benefit, in building reading skills as 30 pages of a book. Our core mission is to improve literacy. A key success factor will come from turning captions on as automatic as buckling your seatbelt when you get in the car.”
Most tweens and teens spend 5 – 7 hours a day consuming screen time, which is increasing as a result of school closures and other learning disruptions related to COVID-19. As so many students struggle with reading, teachers and parents need better ways to boost reading scores. Evidence-based research shows the use of closed captioning can improve reading skills.
Chris Piper, the superintendent of Troy City (Ohio) Schools, commented: “At Troy City Schools, we have worked to deepen our literacy instruction and seek innovative ways to encourage our students to read. We endorse #captionsON because we believe it will motivate more children, particularly disadvantaged youth and English language learners, to turn their screen time into reading time.”
The #captionsON campaign is part of the Caption.Cool broader mandate to fuse literacy, technology, and empathy.  The Caption.Cool Reading Family, a diverse set of characters led by Capty, the Caption Cool unicorn will champion literacy to kids through relatable life stories of the characters and grow with the influence of Caption.Cool Literacy Champions. The C.C Champions are passionate literacy advocates from all walks of life who openly share their motivation behind promoting #captionsON and being ‘Caption.Cool’ to incentivize kids to improve their reading skills by sharing their love of reading.
CC Literacy Champion Laura Bemus, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, said, “I’m Caption.Cool because reading is so important and exposure to text, like captions, builds fluency and comprehension for students. My lifelong love of reading was established as a child and through making choices of great reading material of high interest.”
The campaign’s launch initiatives include an engaging 60-second animated video and the #captionsOn Reading Family Engagement Kit containing information for parents, and a full sheet of vibrant stickers for kids to pre-order at Caption.Cool. A social media Face-Swap E-card campaign geared towards younger kids and parents to share their faces in Caption.Cool characters complement the launch initiatives.
The CAPTION.COOL journey began in 1992
In 1992, serial entrepreneur Leib Lurie started his first Closed Captioning reading initiative and never wavered in his belief that closed captioning could improve reading skills. (click video here) Even in 1992 he was concerned about kids and “screen time” (then TV time), although the term “screen time” had not yet been coined!
In 2012, Leib and his wife, Barbara Lurie, a teacher and reading specialist who saw the effects of children who weren’t reading at grade level, co-founded Kids Read Now, a K-3 in-home summer reading program. Kids Read Now, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, gifted 400,000 books this year to 60,000 students in 18 states.
Leib’s long-time passion project to “turn screen time into reading time” came to creative life when he and Barb reached out to long-time marketing partner Gloria Maxx who created the Caption.Cool concept, brand, and diverse cast of empathy-based characters inspired by her experiences as a bullied immigrant child whose best friends were books.
“Charlotte’s Web is the first book I read as a kid.  I loved the characters as their actions gave me strength to find my voice through life’s adversities,” says Gloria Maxx, Caption.Cool Co-Founder and COO. “We want to emulate that experience to kids who struggle with reading by offering them stories they can resonate with which champion reading with captions on.”
With #captionsON, kids read along with closed captions during screen time, which allows children with low literacy rates who consume several hours of screen time daily to improve their reading skills, which ultimately improves their lives and future potential. Caption.Cool is an innovative, independent campaign for literacy with a single focus on making the use of captions (subtitles) an “automatic reflex” during all screen time, as it is now second nature to “buckle up” seat belts when driving. The diverse Caption.Cool team members hail from six countries, including the United States and Canada. Learn more at Caption.Cool and click #captionsON!

Flopcast 408: 1980 TV Part 1 - Sparky and Corky

Flopcast 408: 1980 TV Part 1 - Sparky and Corky
Tumblr media
While Kornflake is off entertaining the nerds of Minnesota at MarsCon, Kevin and the Mayor discuss obscure TV shows from forty years ago. (We’re quite timely around here.) Specifically we’re looking at shows that debuted in the year 1980. And it’s a weird list. Weirder than you think. Including: Spinoffs of 70s hits that flopped in the 80s (Flo, Sanford, Beyond Westworld, Galactica 1980), a pair of long-running PBS shows (3-2-1 Contact and Mystery!), a don’t-try-this-at-home reality TV classic (That’s Incredible!), a late night SNL-inspired sketch comedy series (Fridays), a few painful reminders that variety shows were just about dead (The Tim Conway Show, The Big Show, and the notorious Pink Lady and Jeff), and a few short-lived oddities that nobody remembers. (Goodtime Girls, anyone? Me and Maxx? No?) And we’re only halfway home; we’ll get through the rest of the list next week. So come on back to 1980 with us, vote for Carter, and enjoy.

Clean Up With These 7 Luxury Shower Features Sure to Transform Bath Time
Jumping Rocks/UIG
Showering just to get clean? Nah. Plenty of homeowners these days are insisting on a vacation-caliber bath experience, spending serious money on their own lavish power shower features.
“Dramatic spa-inspired showers are replacing plain tubs and, at over $13 billion in 2018, showers now capture the most money spent on residential bathrooms,” says Elle H-Millard, resident designer at the National Kitchen + Bath Association.
What’s driving this uptick in luxury showers? For starters, you can thank older homeowners and the myriad home improvement shows on TV.
Aging baby boomers are enticed by certain shower details that offer safety and convenience, such as curbless entry and easy-grab safety bars or handles.
“My clients are looking for that spa bathroom they saw on TV,” says Aaron Bowman, a real estate agent with Maxx Real Estate in Connecticut. “They are looking for open concepts with stunning accents that make them feel like they’re in a luxurious hotel.”
Ready to feast your eyes on the hottest statement bath and shower features? Here are seven that’ll have you scrambling to find your loofah.
1. Radiant floor heating
Stepping onto a warm floor as you exit a hot shower really ups the luxe factor—and the same holds for toasty towels waiting for you on an electric rack.
Radiant floor heating and towel warmers are both deemed “very trendy,” topping the list of must-haves for homeowners, according to the NKBA 2018 Design Trends report.
Luckily, costs for radiant floor heating have come down in recent years and now run from $5 to $12 per square foot. As for towel warmers, costs could range from $40 to a whopping $4,000, depending on what you’re looking for.
2. Innovative lighting
Mood lighting can help ease the transition from your cozy bed to waking daylight.
“Dimmable and accent lighting is really popular right now,” says Ana Cummings of ANA Interiors.
The same goes for energy- and water-efficient features, including LED lighting, vent fans, low-flow toilets, and smartphone-controlled lights, H-Millard adds.
Backlit shower panels and edge-lit countertops are among other increasingly sought-after bells and whistles in the lighting category.
3. Wild accent walls
Photo by 186 Lighting Design Group
Why relegate an accent wall to your dining or living room? Large-scale stone that’s cut to create art and eye-grabbing textured tiles are emerging trends in statement showers, H-Millard says.
“Onyx stone panels and even floor-to-ceiling wall mirrors inside shower stalls are big lately,” Cummings adds.
4. Zero-transition entry
“Zero transition looks really clean and modern, which is appealing in a statement shower,” Cummings says.
And it’s not just the aesthetics at play here: No step means less of a tripping hazard, too.
“Whether you’re designing for an older home buyer or a family with toddlers, a safer bathroom will always be right up there on the list, along with style,” says H-Millard.
Per the NKBA report, 83% of industry professionals say clients rank curbless entry among the top three important amenities, along with a seat in the shower and a handheld shower head.
5. Dual rainfall shower heads
If you can’t score his-and-her stalls, at least consider dual shower heads; they can be of equal size and mounted side by side or facing each other. A dual setup can also include a main shower head and a handheld attachment.
6. Steam showers
The ultimate indulgence in shower upgrades is definitely the steam option, which lets you create your own home sauna and can even be scented. (Cummings recommends eucalyptus.)
7. Smart mirrors and TVs
Tech reigns supreme in the kitchen, but it’s also gaining traction in the bathroom. Many more homeowners have TVs where they cook; but 23% already have them mounted to bathroom walls, and 14% enjoy music as they lather up in the morning, according to the NKBA report.
TVs can also be hidden in cabinetry or embedded in the mirror, but that’s just the beginning.
“Kohler has a new mirror out that’s Alexa-compatible, so you can shave and ask her for a traffic update at the same time,” Cummings notes.

Hiroshi Nagahama on Mushi-shi, Flowers of Evil, US Comics, and Stop-Motion at Otakon 2019
Otakon 2019 presented us a rare chance for an intimate interview with Director Hiroshi Nagahama. Through both it and a spirited, career-spanning retrospective panel, it became evident that there's a lot more to appreciate about this director than previously thought. Read on as Ink asks Mr. Nagahama about such signature adaptations as Mushi-shi and Flowers of Evil and more.
With Mushi-shi and Flowers of Evil, you produced a very slow, tone-building pace. Are there any specific directors or television series or movies that influenced how you build atmosphere?
Not directors, but Frank Miller from American comics. I was definitely influenced by him. For Batman (Year One) and Daredevil (Born Again), I actually like his version the most. TV drama series that I watched as a kid had a similar atmosphere. Oh, there are actually two anime directors that I was really influenced by: Osamu Dezaki, who made Ashita no Joe, and Yoshiaki Kawajiri (Wicked City).
You told an audience at a panel that you are a fan of American comics. Have you read Sam Keith’s The Maxx?
I definitely have. I love it. The animation was shocking. It’s the one that was on MTV at midnight, right? I have the comics as well. And since I liked it, I have the 3-D version as well — one of the versions with red and blue glasses and you can see [the characters] popping out. It’s really exciting! There’s the part, in the second part, where Sam Keith wrote it so it would be 3-D, so The Maxx would have his fingers popped out. So when you have the lenses, it’ll pop out of the screen.
Why did you ask about The Maxx?
It seemed to me that you would really enjoy it if you had not heard of it. It has a dark tone and an anti-hero protagonist.
I am actually influenced by the movement of The Maxx. So The Maxx in anime would do this. (Mimics The Maxx’s shuffle) So when you walk and you stop, there’s that strong action. To show that in a fighting scene, when you’re attacking, it called flickering – your arm and your nails would shimmer.
When I was producing Mushi-shi, I was watching The Maxx on a portable DVD player. So I’m definitely inspired by it, but I didn’t follow the same structure as The Maxx.
Regarding Mushi-shi, what direction did you give the animators and storyboard artists working on it to fill in the worlds between Urushibara’s panels?
I didn’t really think about expanding it, but I tried to fill in things that weren’t covered in the manga. Since manga is a very small version, it’s as if I unfrosted or unfroze those parts and added them back.
When someone moves from Point A to Point B in manga, that distance isn’t shown, but in anime, if that shows the story better, then I would start making that from scratch to show the details.
Similarly, in Flowers of Evil, there’s a lot of world building, and a lot of that is done through sound. How did sound direction influence your direction, or was it the other way around, or was it a back-and-forth?
I first made the anime and then the sound that goes with it. I told the sound director that the sound shouldn’t be the part of the anime, so you can even just put no sound if you’d like. I asked the producer of the songs to show one character by one sound (Nagahama makes a “bahhhh” tone), and if one “bahhhh” was the main character, the other (Nagahama says “bahhhhh” in a different tone) would be the main heroine, and every character similarly. So the minimalism of the sound was what I worked on. And the sound director, Tanaka-san, did manage to do that; he represents one character by one sound and another character by another. And if you just listen to the music, it’s revolutionary to anime.
You directed an episode of Rinshi!! Ekodachan, which was fantastic visually and thematically. In your videotaped interview for the show, you said you would like to see a lot more anime go against convention. Do you have any specific styles in mind and any specific properties you might like to apply them to?
I want to do a figure animation someday, like the show called Robot Chicken. I haven’t gotten to make a show where you physically move an object. So I want to do that someday. Or a clay animation.
Any existing properties you have in mind for that?
I don’t know yet. If I see what’s going to come next, I can think about that. Even if it’s a CG or rotoscope, if that fits that anime and that structure, then that’s the way to go.
A huge thank you to Mr. Nagahama for his time as well as to Otakon Press and Guest Staff for the opportunity.
Check out more of our Otakon 2019 coverage as well as our transcriptions of Nagahama's career retrospective panel.

Audio Branding: Target Tunes Up Its In-Store Experience
Target is focused on creating a unique, relevant and enjoyable in-store customer experience to hold on to its brick-and-mortar clientele as more shoppers migrate to online and mobile shopping — including its own customers on Target.com and its mobile app. So it’s little wonder that the chain now is experimenting with something it’s never done generally in its stores: play background music in its first entree into audio or sonic branding.
youtube
While by no means the only store to play background music to (even subconsciously) help shoppers relax and linger longer in a store (and more willingly part with their money), it’s a new area for Target, even though its commercials are known for lively music—witness the remake of “It Takes Two” by Carly Rae Jepsen and Lil Yachty for the Grammys telecast—and it has partnered with artists such as Taylor Swift on exclusive releases.
youtube
It’s betting that programming background music in 180 of its stores by the end of this year will become an effective part of its in-store experience in those location, which represent about 10 percent of Target’s total of 1,800 stores across the US. In fact, 65 Target stores are already playing DJ for its shoppers.
youtube
Target traditionally eschewed in-store music as distraction from keeping customers focused on the task at hand: shopping and browsing, reports the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. But according to a spokesperson, the chain now is introducing a music playlist “that is upbeat, positive and has a playful personality.”
youtube
“Everybody is looking for a way to make the customer experience more enjoyable because it’s becoming less and less about the products and more about the experience,” Matt Hazelton, an investment analyst in Minneapolis, told the publication.
youtube
youtube
Soundscaping, when used appropriately, has proven results in dramatically increased sales, stronger customer dynamics, and improved satisfaction results. Studies have shown that music has a profound impact on consumer behavior and shopping habits, Joel Beckerman, a sonic branding expert and founder of New York-based Man Made Music, told brandchannel.
As NPR has noted, it’s good for retail brands and artists in addition to creating an emotional intangible benefit for customers: “A good retail playlist can bring home the culture of a business and psychologically affect a customer in a way that doesn’t feel pushy. And it’s positive for the featured artists. In today’s flooded climate, where new songs are published at a crazy rate on the Internet, having your song play in a Victoria’s Secret, for instance, can help cut through the noise.”
On the down side, it can be off-brand or jarring, especially if it veers into the dreaded, soulless Muzak associated with shopping malls and dentist offices. As the Guardian warns,
Don’t be lulled into thinking you can put on any old tracks: “Your music choice is a statement and it needs to show who you are as a business, individual and company. If you get it right, people don’t even realise it’s happening but they’ll get the culture. It’s the psychology of business and retail.” But not all retail spaces get it right. Shopping malls and hotel foyers normally have dreadful music.”
Even mainstream retailers like Marshall’s and T.J. Maxx stores play backgroundmusic, so it’s not revolutionary for Target to liven its in-store audioscape. If anything, it’s finally catching up with the persona it projects in its advertising and exclusive music partnerships.
Target, in its marketing, has always sought to align itself with innovative musical experiences. Take music’s biggest night—the Grammys—which was the inspiration for the Carly Rae Jepsen/Lil Yachty collaboration. Last year the Grammys inspired Target’s historic music first: producing a live four-minute real-time music video (at a reported cost of $12 million) for Gwen Stefani during the Grammy Awards telecast. The feat followed the previous year’s Imagine Dragons Grammys commercial performance as advertising and the year before that, the Justin Timberlake promo campaign.

There are plenty of successful retail brands for whom on-brand background music is a staple. (In fact, remember when stores used to routinely sell CD soundtracks of the type of music you’d hear in their stores, from Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware’s jazzy mixes to the world music played in Putumayo stores from its own label?)
youtube
To name just a few, Whole Foods Markets often plays tracks from the Eighties, which pleases its huge baby boomer clientele. Gap, Old Navy and other Gap Inc. stores play music, as do Urban Outfitters and other retailers where teens and the young at heart might be found.
Gap, in fact, was known for its many music-driven TV commercials over the years, and it’s been returning to form. A few standouts show how music can reflect a brand’s DNA:

The feat followed the previous year’s Imagine Dragons Grammys commercial performance as advertising and the year before that, the Justin Timberlake promo campaign.
youtube
youtube
youtube

                                                                          MARCH 2017
 PAGE RIB
*****Beyonce and Amal are both pregnant with twins.
*****The Trump international hotel and tower opened in Vancouver B.C. with Tiffany and the sons amidst hundreds of protesters and a boycott from the mayor.
*****So, did anybody see Seth Mcfarlane in Real time with Bill Maher? He seemed to just sit and pout. He sat there sying nothing and suddenly blurted out “I’ve got water.” It seems that perhaps an earlier guest got his Jack D. and he got water. It just seemed to me that he wasn’t going to add much to the conversation if he did not have his drink. Such a diva!
*****Kevin Smith and comic book men are back and looking good!!
*****TLC is back with the fabulous ‘Who do you think you are?’ The season begins with Courtney Cox and her relatives who killed the King of England.
*****Leann Rimes seems to have added a few pounds and looking healthy and well too!!
*****Have John Stewart and Ricky Gervais lost it?
*****The number 1 item requested in homeless shelters is socks. Bombas (latin word for bees) socks is giving away 60 thousand pairs in one day.
*****American rehab: Detroit on DIY told a great story of a couple bringing an old house which had been part of the family back to life for a new era.
*****Nick Cannon is out at America’s got talent.
*****Louie Anderson is just knocking it out of the park on Baskets.
*****David Cassidy went public with dementia diagnosis.
*****Who knew that Hillary Farr, the’ love it or list it ‘chick was Betty Monroe on The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
*****Roger Waters is heading out on the Us and Them tour and will the poke the snake called Trump.
*****Dale Earnhardt Jr. was on Watch what happens live and seems to like Vanderpump rules. Too bad about the crash at Daytona Jr.  Hooray for Michael Waltrip and his 8th place. We do not want to see U go.
*****Stay away from the Remington 700. It shoots without pulling the trigger. Of course the company does not want to admit that.
*****Tried to watch the new sitcom Powerless. I want DC to succeed in their endeavor but hmmm..??
*****CBS Doubt looked like it had a great cast so gave it a try. The stories were of the same old kind but love the supporting cast and a nice twist. It had a little Spader/Shatner thing going on.
*****The Pats won that super bowl but it didn’t start out that way. Super bowl 51 was so up and so down. Their wide receiver, Malcolm Mitchell was asked by a woman at Barnes and Noble one day to join her book club. He joined, in part, because he couldn’t read very well. He is still with the club and it has inspired him to write a children’s book and begin a literary campaign.  For the halftime entertainment at 51, Lady Gaga gave us a statement of equality that said it all.
*****Days alert: Ok.. Is Days going to be cancelled for Megyn Kelly? Say it ain’t so.. Word is coming that there will be no Days in 2018!! Oh NBC, it is about the only thing you have left that I want to watch. Get the picket signs ready. We can’t lose Days. I am still hurting from losing One Life to Live.  Jen and Eric have seen each other again and he is saving a picture of her. Let’s fix his hair and get these two together. The last days of February and finally some progress on that front. We need that Tom and Alice couple that we can rely on and stick together no matter what. She already has the house and they have the good foundation and they have come back from the brink. **And.. is Drake feeling better yet? Bring back John Black!
*****Twitter donated a mil to the ACLU.
*****I want to be in the middle of those great scenes with Tim Omundson and Deidrich Bader on American Housewife.
*****The house votes to roll back the background checks for gun owners .This includes those mentally incapable of managing their own affairs.
*****Are we all really supposed to pray for Schwarzenegger? Weren’t the ratings of that awful show low anyway?
*****A friend told me that 80% of immigrants are on welfare. Depending on where you look, it is really 40-51%. Do your research people!
*****SNL is back with new shows starting with Octavia Spencer and Scarlett Johansson.
*****The continuing madness of King Trump includes him waiting a week into the Presidency before handing the reigns of biz to his son’s. It wasn’t until he was called out by reporters that he finally did it. His supporters do not even seem to care. The sons have secret service all over the world looking after them with our tax dollars as they go about the Trump business. *** Steve Bannon openly admitted that they put people in place to deconstruct the administration.
*****Some republicans are now asking for an independent prosecutor to investigate the Russian contact and interference. Jeff Sessions should recuse himself.
*****Our state reps are chickening out with tele town halls. They feel they don’t have to face the people who elected them and can therefor go full speed ahead with their own agendas. They use the excuse that too many people are turning up so they have to take questions by phone. Funny how the softball questions from people who mostly agree with them get through. Quit being cowards and do your jobs or get out of the way.
*****Tom Perez is now DNC chair, the moderates win. I don’t agree with scary clown 45 that it was rigged but a little shake up may have been in order. Personally I love Donna Brazile. Is it time for a new party ,the resistance party? Some will never trust the Dems. Some will never trust Republicans. A new hard left party may be in order. It will struggle but eventually take hold. We need to start with brains and artisans.
*****The President will not come to the White House correspondence dinner on April 29. He says he was elected to get work done and to focus on the country, like getting busy on that wall.  Pendejo! Oh please!
*****Pandering to Wall Street, the house is working on ridding us of Dodd Frank that was put in place to help the financial crisis. Do we really want to relax those rules? They are going for a 75% reduction in regulations for companies to add more pollution, to not look out for the customers best interest etc. Shouldn’t we be worrying more about production? Will they do the right thing as they see how the rest of us live or will they continue to ignore the problems?
*****Scary clown 45 claims he did not know what he was signing when he put Bannon on the National Security council. Huh?
*****Elizabeth Warren was stopped from reading pertinent information from Coretta Scott King on the senate floor.
*****Charlie Rose underwent heart surgery and will be back in March. He has been spotted and is doing fine.
*****Looks like a new show Trial and Error is coming. The ads look ok but they are advertising the hell out of it. Wasn’t there a movie with the same name?
*****Carol Merna, executive director for the center for prevention of abuse, wrote an open letter to Illinois governor Rauner. She asked him to put partisan politics aside and get a budget for the state. Some neglect cases have had to be dropped due to lack of funds.
*****CNN is doing the history of comedy.
*****Bill Nye saves the World is coming April 21 to Netflix.
*****Chris Kennedy, 8th child of Bobby and Ethel that was born July 4th 1963, is running for Governor of Illinois.
*****Blondie brings us the ne “FUN”. They are touring with Garbage this summer.
*****Zach Braff and Carol Burnett are both returning to tv.
*****Burger King is buying Popeye’s, lord help us.
*****Iran has cancelled visas for wrestlers that were to compete in a world competition. The Muslim ban has upset so many apple carts. Church missionaries and Doctors have to rethink leaving the country to help others because they may not get back in. We are not all as stupid as they think and should respect us enough to at least quit saying this is about our safety. Why are Christians prioritized? This new administration does not agree with Obama on much so why keep talking about the 7 countries he specified? He did no bans for these countries. Hundreds of companies have coordinated to file a lawsuit against this.
*****If we don’t live globally, things will be a lot more expensive.
*****Isis is on a drone buying frenzy. They are buying drones off the shelf and doing much damage. Our commander in chief needs to get in front of this.
*****New Power Rangers coming out this month.
*****Mar-a Lago, the former home of Emily Post and E.F. Hutton was donated to the government but Nixon did not really want it. After scary clown 45 bought the Palm Beach estate there was much ado about his flag pole. He also wanted the flight patterns changed so as not to disturb his guests. With the racist white house raging on, it is hard to believe that he was once more welcoming. The old guard of Palm Beach was not too crazy at who he was bringing to Mar-a-Lago. The resort would welcome anyone who could pay the fee. Initially it was 100 thou but as soon as he became President it was doubled, being President pays. Oh yea, and the flight pattern has now been changed. ** Scary clown 45 seems to think he is under some sort of cloak of invisibility when he is there. Hillary’s e mails were a problem but he can discuss anything classified on his own cell?? Are you fucking kidding me?**And speaking of Palm Beach, the President is spending a lot of time there. Before the election he claimed he would have no time for golf and relaxing. He has spent about as much of our money on secret service and his travels in a month as Obama spent in a year. This does not even include Melania and the NY digs and the sons who travel the world for the Trump business all the time. Of course, the business is benefitting from this.
*****Kevin Brady and Orrin Hatch can make The IRS show us the Presidents taxes.
*****Nordstrum’s dropped Ivanka’s line. Marshall’s, TJ Maxx, Sears and Kmart are in agreement.
*****If you give up freedom to get security, you get neither. –Ben Franklin
*****Why are the Sunday morning political shows just repeating the same mainstream stuff all the time? Let’s follow Bill Maher and John Oliver who at least talk more about our rights that keep getting stripped away. John Oliver is putting ads on the shows that scary clown 45 watches so he can at least get some real information. Marijuana laws, transgender rights, voting rights are all under attack. The pot industry is booming, why does this administration want to start taking away U.S. jobs? The department of agriculture has removed regs about the treatment of animals. The will no longer make lab inspection results and violations publicly available. Now, you must file a request to the freedom of information act if you want to know.** John Kasich is still making sense, why couldn’t the republicans have went with a sane person? He met with the President on health care. He feels the ACA needs reform but that you can’t just pull the rug out from 20 million people. Kasich tries to do things in a calm and reasonable manner much like the left. Is it worth trying? The administration says that the opposition is acting like 5th graders.  How many times do we reach out and try to do things reasonable only to be shut down?
*****Thank you J Lo for reminding us of Toni Morrison’s words about how important artists are in times like these.
*****Thank you A tribe called Quest for yelling “Resist” and telling us to break through the wall.
*****Seattle severed ties with Wells Fargo in protest of the DAPL. ** A federal judge denied the Sioux tribes request for a halt to the pipeline. And while the CPAC was in full bloom, the protesters were dragged away.  Some moved across the river and some moved on.
*****Good news for Kim Cade: Camping can help you to sleep better by shifting internal clocks to align with daylight hours.
*****Jimmy Carter put in enough solar panels to power half of Plains. Go Jimmy Go!!!!
*****North Korea launched a ballistic missile.
***** It was something to see when Paul Ryan was asked over and over again about Flynn and the Russian situation. He was annoyed right away. Really? How does it feel? And Hillary held up for 11 hours. Who can take it and wo can’t? Pussies!
*****FLEXIT: After many denials, Mike Flynn , the man who started the ‘lock her up’ chant, was finally ousted. When will they find proof that they all knew about this? They are not even good spin kings but how do they live with themselves? And Pence calls himself a good Christian? Did he know?** Did they make a good choice with H R Mcmaster? Of course, he is active duty so he could hardly say no. He is getting a lot of support because he wrote against Johnson and the handling of Vietnam and Bush with Iraq.
*****White house flunkie Steven Miller was getting invited everywhere after he told George Stephanopoulos he would go on any show, anywhere. Colbert and the View were waiting but he never showed. LIES,LIES,LIES: GET OUT!!!!
***** Streisand men ,past and present, seem to be showing up at CBS. James Brolin has been there for a couple of seasons and Elliot Gould is on the new Doubt.
*****Catch Trevor Noah on Afraid of the Dark.
*****Glad that Nightcap is back for season 2.
*****Scary Clown 45 gave his presidential address on the last day of February. He started the day by letting us all know that the protests and problems were Obamas fault. He started to adlib about 8 pages in. A lot of attention was paid to Karen Owens, the widow of navy seal Ryan who was killed in Yemen. The VP insists that the reports of nothing being gained from the raid are false. Trump pulled back on the immigration agenda that he earlier seemed to soften on. He did mention black history month which never happens. He is still talking about repeal and replace with the ACA. He did not shut it down first day like he said on the campaign trail. He said the same stuff in this address that he has been saying, just with a slightly different tone. He sure changed his tune about the Jewish hate crimes. Former Kentucky governor Steve Beshear gave the democratic response. What?? Why the fuck did they pick a FORMER Gov.? It was a pretty middle of the road response. He gave Trump polite hell for his lashing out at military, media and the intelligent agencies. He scolded that just because they disagree does not make them their enemies. Agreed but Yawn!! The best part of the night was afterward on MSNBC. Kathy Griffin, Michael Moore and Rob Reiner put a wonderful cap on the evening. Thank you for some sanity.
*****Better Call Saul is starting to run ads for their April 10th premiere. So fucking excited!!
*****Comedy Central is bringing ‘Colossal Clusterfest” to San Francisco on June 2nd. The fest will include stand up and sketch comedy, podcasts and music. The lineup includes Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Hart, Sarah Silverman, Hannibal Buress, Bob Odenkirk, Fred Armisen, Tig Nataro, Ice Cube, Tegan and Sara, Reggie Watts and Princess and interactive offerings with South Park, Seinfeld and It’s always Sunny in Philadelphia.
*****Finn Whitrock, Sally Field and Joe Mantello appear in Broadway’s The Glass Menagerie.
*****The Grammy awards which I have never really understood came and went again. Some of the audience looked a bit perplexed when James Corden purposely flubbed the opening. They rarely honor anyone I really respect. But Adele’s George Michael tribute , once on track was amazing. Chance the Rapper won best new artist and claimed his victory in the name of the lord. Lady Gaga sounded great with Metallica. Again there were sound issues that you would think the Grammys of all places would have worked out but… Best dressed were Lady Gaga and Audra Day. The worst was Taraji P. Henson.
*****HBO is making a documentary about Andre the Giant.
*****The Independent spirit awards were on Feb. 25th and made some great choices. Molly Shannon won best supporting female for Other People. Moonlight won best picture, best director for Barry Jenkins and the Robert Altman award. Casey Affleck (best actor) and Jenkins took their best shots at Trump.
*****Bison have been reintroduced to Canada’s first national park after 140 years.
*****The Oscars were the next day, Feb. 26th and oh what a finale they had. Most everybody knows by now that the wrong film was announced, but that was not the entire show. It was only the second time an envelope mishap happened. Sammy Davis Jr. opened the wrong envelope last time. I always wished that they would show the honorary awards as well, they look like fun. Jimmy Kimmel seemed casual about his hosting gig and never stuck the knife in too deep. The Matt Damon stuff never really gets old. Tourists were brought in and Gary from Chicago is already getting offers from just being there. He had just gotten out of prison 3 days before after a 20 year sentence. Wal Mart is giving he and his fiancé wedding gifts. ** During rehearsal a big part of the set fell down.**The Salesman from Iran won and a statement was read about the Muslim ban. A lot of people were wearing ACLU ribbons to show solidarity. The best dressed were Emma Roberts, Haylee Steinfeld, Ava Duvernay, Laura Dern, Janelle Monae, Taraji P. Henson, Mahershala Ali, Naomie Harris, the dancer with Timberlake wearing the red and black dress, Luciana Barroso, Nicole Kidman, Ryan Gosling and Meryl Streep. Honorable mention goes to Halle Barry, Viola Davis, Michelle Williams, Karlie Klass and Emma Stone. Worst dressed were Leslie Mann, Dakota Johnson, Octavia spencer, Trudie Styler and Felicity Jones and some chick in the audience with a bold blue and white striped lace fiasco. There was a story about Karl Lagerfeld saying that Meryl Streep wanting to be paid to wear a dress but nobody believes it. In the fallout after the best picture controversy, Les Moonves said he’d fire his accountant if this happened. Matt Damon said he was not at all surprised and that is what you get when you let Jimmy host.
*****You can now get Dateline’s Keith Morrison on your GPS.
*****Michael Moore has put out a 10 point plan to get rid of Trump. Most of it is common sense but good o remember:
1.       Call your senators and reps: 202-225-3121 or 202-224-3121. A call a day keeps the Trump away
2.       Visit your members of congress and both senators once a month.
3.       Create your own personal rapid response team, form a group to be ready to leap into action.
4.       Join national groups like Planned Parenthood or the ACLU.
5.       Remember the women’s march. Join in.
6.       Join the democratic party.
7.       Form ‘regions of resistance’. Pass state laws.
8.       Run for office. Everyone can run for precinct delegate.
9.       Become the media. Report the truth.
10.   Join the army of comedy. Spread the words of great comedy about scary clown 45.
*****Elvis Costello and the Imposters are touring in June.
*****George W. Bush is making the rounds with his new book, Portraits of courage. He pays tribute to the wounded warriors and at the same time raises money for vets. He also probably feels that it is safe since he is small potatoes compared to the new Prez. We can’t forget the havoc that he and Cheney brought upon us today is today.
*****Lisa Marie Presley is in the middle of a nasty custody battel. Priscilla has her twin grandchildren living with her.
*****The Prez has already cut domestic spending so he can pour millions into the military budget. We spend as much on the military as the next 7 largest military spending countries combined.
*****Spain is going to appoint a sex czar.
*****Another Sandusky, the son Jeff was arrested for sex offenses against minors.
*****Scary Clown 45 made his
*****RIP William H. Busch, Richard Hatch, Al Jarreau, Erwin Corey, George the Animal Steele, Ward Chamberlin, Clyde Stubblefield, Bill Paxton, Judge Wopner and Neil Fingleton.
