Spent probably way too long on this:

Cardcaptor Sakura's intro/outro are all really good. (InuYasha was considered, but CCS really is just fantastic.)

Ouran Highschool Host Club is fun, crazy, and the manga? The manga goes somewhere. Read it.

Mahou Sensei Negima is less "found family" and more "these are my students, and I will fight god for them". But like... Luffy and Negi? They have basically the exact same reaction when presented with the possibility of dinosaurs. (Also, Negima thematically considers "idiocy" as a superpower.)

Fate Stay Night (the VN, not any of the awkward anime-adaptations), has a lot of characters who are worth simping over (there's a reason FGO was such a commercial success). I'd probably have to pick Illya though, because she's so refreshingly evil.

One Piece I've been reading since I was like... twelve. It's made me cry on multiple occasions, and it's really an absolutely wonderful story.

The Haruhi Suzumiya Series is what made me start writing. Literally. It was the first anime that inspired me to write fanfiction, and though most of those ideas have long since faded, it's something I look back on with nothing but love in my heart. (There's a reason that disheveled Kyon is still my avatar, after all of these years.)

The Slayers has Lina Inverse, the Bandit Killer, who roams from town to town and leaves destruction (and defeated horrors) in her wake. Also, she tries to murder someone with a fork for trying to get between her and her dinner. The girl is very Luffy-coded.

Fruits Basket was a manga I read as a teenager. And it gets so fucking dark. Holy shit. But it also ends really fucking well, to the point where I never felt the need to dig into fanfiction at all.

Strawberry Shake is a very short manga that nobody knows of, and it has the most delightfully insane love-interests. Trying to explain exactly how insane they get without spoilers isn't super-easy, but safe to say that stalking is the least of their problems.

So I got bored recently. And thought to make a tag or anime game. I thought to share in case someone wants to try. Expose our tastes and stuff. Movies are also open as long as they're anime

29. last book i read: I accidentally/unintentionally read the book that inspired 50 Shades, The Submissive. Not a terrible book actually. But I had no idea until I was finished and looked into it. It was a random pick because I wanted to read a romance and the library said this was their most popular ebook.

30. top three fictional universes i would like to live in: assuming that I wouldn’t die, Ouran (I can play matchmaker for Kyoya and Tamaki because someone has to do it), Teen Wolf (not gonna lie, I’m here for Derek), and I guess Stranger Things (since I loved writing for it and they need an older sister type badly).
