I really enjoyed working on this one¡ It came up smoothly and accurately. I spent more hours than average thought but I feel it paid off. Malayan Tiger This is the last population of this subspecies (The mainland Asian one). It's a medium size tiger that is critically endangered. They used to be abundant in Singapore in 1830 when the country was basically a dense jungle. However, the expansion of plantations along the island made attacks on humans by tigers quite common, so tiger hunting became a sport. Tiger attacks were reported almost daily in the late 1840s, and local authorities organized bounties decreasing the tiger population significantly. The last tiger was shot in 1932. Sometimes I’ll see a post complaining about accessibility and in many ways I agree that that kind of stuff is important and is something that activists should keep in mind but like. These people are posting for free. They’re creating events and building community for free. That shit is hard work, and if you haven’t personally done it it’s hard to really understand how much energy it takes to do all the little shit that goes into creating content and building community. Anyways maybe instead of complaining about inaccessibility you could work on supporting the people creating things for ur community and creating the accessibility you want to see in the world

the green box says in white lettering "SUDAN BELONGS TO THE PEOPLE. The Sudanese Revolution is primarly being led by woman and youth. They want to live free of military-rule and saily violence/displacement. They are fighting two factions and need the world's support."

the block in red follows the same pattern: "RSF (RAPID SUPPORT FORCES). Born from the Janjaweed, the RSF are a violent paramilitary group funded by the UAE. They are ethnically cleansing the people of Darfur. They use abduction, sexual violence, and physical violence."

finally, the brown block says: "SAF (SUDANESE ARMED FORCES). SAF is government backed, however, they are not on the "good" side. Rebel groups joined forces to fight against the RSF. They use arms and airstrikes to kill Sudanese people."

ACTUALLY talk about Sudan. Commenting with Sudan's flag emojis is not enough. If you struggle to actually talk about Sudan, ask yourself why. Is it because you need more information, or do you struggle to humanize Black people?

AMPLIFY. Trust, follow and share post from Sudanese grassroots organizations and accounts Sudanese diaspora. Add summary, your insights, etc. Help your followers learn with you.

DONATE. Don't trust big charities with your money. Sudanese organizations and the diaspora need your money more than the Red Cross.

Lend your skills and time. If yopu have graphic design or web stills, reach out to grassroots organizations and groups."

Saben es difícil comenzar a entender el gran impacto que tiene lo que hacemos día con día. Pensar que algo tan inofensivo como unas papas o unas galletas tienen un impacto tan irreversible en el ecosistema y lo más impresionante es lo difícil que puede ser encontrar productos que salgan fuera del problema. This one was a total challenge. This tiger got extinct in the 70s, and there are not so many photographs of it, making it hard to draw. Actually, the one I based the pose on was a not-so-common and pixelated photograph of a dissected tiger in a museum that I found on the internet. I had to use various different pictures of tigers for the head, legs, tail, etc., keeping an eye on the characteristic features of the actual Caspian Tiger. Caspian Tiger This tiger was found in the middle east. From Ukraine to Western China. Its extinction began with the colonization of Russia by Turkestan in the late 19th century. Tigers were hunted by sportsmen and military personnel, their habitat was replaced by extensive croplands, and their nature was already vulnerable because of the abrupt of their environment. Until the 20th century, the Russian army cleared predators around settlements or potential agricultural lands. Also, deer and wild pigs (Tiger's prey) in the area was decimated by the increasing human population in the area. There are allegedly some sights of the animal but nothing has been confirmed. I think this is a clear example that every action that we make has an impact on nature. I hope one day we finally learn to live in harmony with what surrounds us. We lost a loved one but imagine how many unknown animals we have lost. Store Instagram ____________________________________________
