My plan was to send this to you over at Discord but everyone deserves to know how great of a person and friend you are! I can’t believe there was ever a time we were shy around each other. But nowadays, we’re basically like close co-workers who’d gossip near the water dispenser corner HAHA. It’s weird gushing over how amazing you are in English knowing our roots-- (Insert Heneral Luna swearing at me LOL). 

But anyway, I believe it’s just been a year since we’ve been friends. I’ve always seen you as such pure sunshine on the dash. It’s like either the mun reflects the muse, vice versa, or both. (If we’re going by that logic, I reflect Keiji in terms of being and feeling TIRED all the time asjhdaksd) And so much has happened throughout the time we’ve known each other. You’re the only other friend who’s seen me play and fail through a call HAHA. We’ve also watched a movie together (ohh we should that again, maybe with the Mu.gen Train on Netflix coming out since I hadn’t watched it yet >:3). 

And if not for our current situation, I really woulda just gone my way to meet up and hang out with you in person like I would have with the great pals I met online. I think in my life, I’ve only met another person who’s so angelic in real life that it’s scary-- But you’re also angelic, in the way you’re so unconditionally caring and supportive and just bringing a dose of serotonin to anyone and everyone. Your writing is also superb, Chi.hiro is the cutest and most precious child that we must protecc at all times. And more importantly, why haven’t I still watched the movie until now-- I should change that, haha. And talking with you is always a blast! Like I said, it’s like hanging out with a friend by the water dispenser haha. But hopefully that will change when we do meet up one day.

               𝘐𝘛 𝘞𝘈𝘚 𝘕𝘐𝘎𝘏𝘛 𝘞𝘏𝘌𝘕 𝘈𝘔𝘈𝘕𝘌        rushes out from the porch step of chihiro's house and carries around a stack of pillows for him to put in the tent they made together. he feels an adrenaline rush while he calls out to chihiro, looking over his shoulder to see her catching up to him.      he smiles at her,      ❝ let's make a pillow fort with these. that way, we'll be  cozy  before the   meteor shower   starts ! ❞   he carefully placed the pillows inside the tent so they wouldn't get dirty, and his eyes   brighten up   when chihiro excitedly agrees to help him.             he turns on the flashlight to emit light inside their tent, and he carelessly kicks his shoes off towards the grass. they talk about      school,      friendships,       and sometimes amane would talk about      tsukasa      in the middle of their conversations. he starts shaping their pillow fort into a castle, but if he were, to be honest, it looked more like an igloo. they  almost  finished with the last touches, and amane laid down on his belly against the soft blanket. he grabs a pillow to cuddle with and waits patiently for chihiro to take her spot beside him.

            the sky was still a   stark blue color   with not a lot of stars. the summer heat still feels  sticky  to his skin as he listens to the cicadas sing in the distance. he'll point chihiro towards the   fireflies   when they  glow up  in the middle of the night, making sure to turn off his flashlight to see them better in the dark. his hair is tangled up in such odd angles as he squeezes his pillow closer to him. his eyes grew wide when he felt chihiro   excitedly   tug the sleeve of his t - shirt to get his attention, and he looks up to see the first couple of   shooting stars   falling from the sky.      he grew excited      — the meteor shower had just started !  he kicks his legs with a smile on his face,      ❝ WOW ! ❞      completely unaware of how close he was with chihiro.      their shoulders brushed against each other while his eyes stayed glued to the sky,      and he turns his face to look at her as if to share a secret, placing a hand over his mouth to whisper something to her ear,   ❝ did you know if you make a wish,      it will come true ?      you should try it. ❞             he nods his head in encouragement when chihiro looks at him in surprise,   ❝ pick a star you want to wish for, and make a wish before it hits the ground. i heard it would come true. ❞   and he eventually watches her close her eyes to make a wish. amane feels nervous while he sits up to his knees   — his chest tingles as if there was a fluttering sensation of   butterfly wings   flying around to the pit of his stomach. his cheeks  buzzed  red while he squeezes his hands together as a sign of comfort. amane  carefully  moved towards her and pressed a   soft kiss   towards the roundness of her cheek. he squeezed his eyes shut at the very last minute, and his ears turned red from making such a bold move. he pulls away almost immediately, and before he could catch her opening her eyes, he draws his legs towards him to bury his face on his knees.             he feels embarrassed and happy at the same time. his heart is drumming in his ears as he catches himself smiling.        he did it !        he actually did it !        he   kissed   chihiro   on the cheek   as he promised he would !        it's the first time he ever kissed a girl before, especially with the one he built a crush on; his heart  won't  stop beating in his chest, and his stomach feels like it's twisted in knots. amane pokes his head out to see her reaction, and he was shocked to find chihiro was just as red as he is. the stars keep falling from the sky as he kept his eyes on her,      and ever so shyly,      he asked,   ❝ d - did you make a wish ? ❞

I even have a lil’ sub plot in mind that he actually meets Chihiro first before he takes Markl under his wing. He probably needed a lesson in dealing with kids considering how much of a kid he himself is like and develops some sense of responsibility. 

Besides Ghibli’s need to stick together.

contrary to popular belief,   megumi handles children quite well.   both kugisaki and itadori always seem surprised by this fact   ⸻   which,   he supposes,   makes sense,   given his short temper with the two of them   ⸻   and although they might have been right to think so a year or two ago,   he would like to think himself much different from those days of delinquency.   he hopes that,   at the very least,   he doesn’t look as frightening as he used to.

These affectionate gestures from Chi were something he’s grown used to by now. Sure he may put up a fuss sometimes but there’s no doubt that he’s grown to love them, because these gestures come from someone he loves dearly. “ Yeah, yeah, I love you too, Chi. ” with that the child throws his arms around the girl, smooching her cheek right back. “ Mwah !! ” there was no holding back, she would feel the full force of his love and adoration in the form of a cheek kiss ! She’s done it so many times to him it’s only right he returns the gesture once in a while.

          the   boy   will   pat   the   other’s   leg,   as   if   to   grab   her   attention.   when   he   was   sure   that   the   attention   was   ceased,   he   would   frown.

          Clearly, attaching his bandages while sitting near Chihiro had been a terrible idea. Curses escape under his breath at the painful sensation of overworked muscles, eyes focusing on the task at hand until his ears catch the way she parrots the same word. Abruptly, the setter turns — so fast that it’s almost dramatic — though his thought process upon having to give her an explanation doesn’t follow as quickly. 

          “ T-That’s...!! ” Tobio stutters in mild panic, hands already frozen in place, hitched breath. It only gets worse when he notices the looming shadow cast between them, gaze shooting towards it to find what he had been expecting: a very pissed off Kageyama Miwa. “ Tobio... ” She growls menacingly, glaring down at her brother with overwhelming pressure. 

          He has no excuses. No words. Nothing to defend himself with. So he does what is usually expected of him during these situations. Tobio lowers his head, bangs covering the shame in his eyes as his hands clench into nervous fists. “ S..Sorry. ” And he immediately gets a hit to the back of his head, tumbling forward with a loud grunt.

          Miwa turns to Chihiro and simply smiles, placing a gentle hand atop the child’s shoulder. “ Chihiro-chan, that’s a bad word. People commonly use it when they’re angry or frustrated, but it’s not a polite thing to say. Your big brother is a wild rascal, so his vocabulary is very lacking. Don’t learn those things, alright, honey? I can teach you better words to use. ”

          As they converse, Tobio’s groaning rings low in the background in between gritted teeth, one of his hands pressing against the throbbing spot on his head. He had intended to take care of one injury... only to end the day bearing another.

❝ hiro-chan, today was your first day of practice right ? how did it go ? ❞ sugawara of course knew that it was, given how today he’s picking her up from school, but he figured asking would still be nice. plus, it made good conversation for the walk home. he’s eager to hear about it anyways, and he couldn’t wait to hear even the smallest details of what would surely be a long journey ahead of her.
