We all ADORE a PWP, right? Well, if you do, this fic is absolutely for you! When I first read it, my jaw was absolutely on the floor, and I needed to spend some time cooling down in my freezer. ❄️❄️❄️ From Anakin's pinning and neediness and the established power exchange, to the stern!dom Obi-Wan Kenobi and the feminization/daddy kink... it was utter PERFECTION. AND THE DIRTY TALK. GAH, THE DIRTY TALK WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD. On the spicy scale rating, I think this one redefined what a perfect score is. 🌶️🌶️🌶️ I will shamelessly admit that I have read this fic multiple times.

This is the second installment of the fic listed above! This fic is very high on my list of favourite fics of all time. I (obviously) love a good BDSM fic, but it's not often that you stumble across a fic that also explores the aftermath of a intense scene in depth, and the sub drop that can (and very often does) follow, even if everything goes exactly according to plan, or if life simply gets in the way. This fic portrays such a beautiful depiction of what sub drop can look like, and a fantastic response of the dominant partner to their submissive experiencing such a thing. My heart hurts for both Anakin and Obi-Wan but like, in the best kind of way. Bravo to the author! 👏👏👏

hello!! i admit i really want to read more fic but i've also been trying to cut down on my screen time recently (which has been...so hard) so i haven't been reading as much as i've really wanted to because i know there have been so many new and beautiful fics published i want to read!!

the other night though, i read the first chapter of 'into the fire' by boguspreston & innominatta and i was just blown away! very eagerly waiting for more but also incredibly satisfied with the set up and chapter that's been provided already. i just adore fics where you read it and you instantly know that the author's real life job or passion or niche hobby is being put on display in the fic and that's the case in 'into the fire'. the level of detailed descriptions and attention to the setting of the kitchen and the descriptions of the food is just so good and amazing. more people need to write fics where they use their real world job as a setting for the characters because it adds this level of immersion to a fic that i am in love with. i feel like im watching the bear but somehow closer to understanding the stress of the kitchen than just by watching the bear. i feel like im the sous chef next to obi-wan who absolutely does not want chef skywalker to look at me next.

the author's note says that one of the writers is a pastry chef (and we're on the same discord so i knew that already!) but i would have known that just by reading the fic because of all this detail that has to be known already and not researched for the intention of the fic.

i also just adore a lot of the writing style these two have developed in past fics they write together and im a sucker for an age swap. and for a smoking hot, smoking cigarettes, mean anakin skywalker <3

So to start, it's wildly fucking obvious how much love, blood, sweat, and tears has been put into this fic. Yes, they only have three chapters posted, but the entire fic is written and they are posting weekly, so you'll have something to look forward to! Even though I'm beta'ing this project for them, I'm absolutely not biased when I say that this is a fantastic fic, a super unique and intriguing concept, and has a nail-biter of a plotline. And yes, I've read the entire fic AND YOU'RE IN FOR A WHILE FUCKING RIDE FRIENDS. Yes, it is a dark fic (so mind those tags!), but it's got everything I ever wanted in a darkfic (sex, drugs, rock and roll, and oh so much grit). And also... peep that eventual happy ending tag. 👀👀👀 Even besides the content, the style of these two writers meshes SO WELL together.

Sith Anakin is obsessed with Obi-Wan, but seeing Obi-Wan as the Jedi Guard of Senator Padmé makes it so much worse. She’s blindingly gorgeous and Anakin realizes he’s jealous of each of them for being able to be in the same space as the other. When Padmé announces that she’ll be making a trip to Naboo, Anakin sees his chance to ambush Obi-Wan and Padmé.

It doesn’t go exactly as planned.
