If you dream about eating a strawberry it could mean that you are about to witness a wedding.

looove this entire post it's just—yes!! correct across the board!! in regards to this section, i don't think it's a stretch at all. not only is mahiru dreaming of being fed a strawberry, afterwards mahiru and her boyfriend are clasping hands and staring into eachother's eyes as if they're about to be wed. i'd say the connection is definitely there!

Doing a short analysis of the desert in Mahiru's MV. ~🍰

I haven't seen anyone talking about why they chose this particular cake, so because I was bored and I love sweets, I decided to do some research and I think I found some interesting details. ~🍓

Due to the amount of frosting and strawberries, I think there is no doubt that this is a strawberry shortcake.

In Japan, this cake is very popular, especially during Christmas, which here it's not considered as a religious holiday, not even a national one! Christmas is celebrated more like Valentine's day.

Of course, I don't necessary think that Mahiru's MV happens during winter or something, but it shows that this cake represents love, prosperity, themes frequently seen in her song.

But i don't want to just talk about the cake itself, but also the main fruit that composes it - strawberries. 🍓

This fruit is a really interesting one, and I really think that it gives us more insight of Mahiru's character and maybe her relationship with her boyfriend.

~Meaning~

Strawberry represents a delicate symbol of love and it is often used to show romantic desire or attraction. It can also be a symbol of righteousness, purity, perfectionism and modesty.

I think this fruit shows the ideal relationship that Mahiru wants, the characteristics that composes her love for her bf.

Righteousness and purity - Mahiru aspires for an innocent love, a cute, happy one. Her MV's are usually energetic and very aesthetic when it comes for the moments with him.

Perfectionism - I have always perceived Mahiru as being quite a perfectionist when it comes to love. She admits that her favorite hobbies are watching dramas, reading magazines. Consuming a certain type of entertainment, raises your standards and changes your perspectives about different topics. Mahiru describes her younger self as being a "sheltered girl" and in contrast with the fact that she went to an all girls school, it strengthened the desire to experience true love. She wanted her relationship to be the same as in dramas. In these TV series, to increase suspense and tension, the partners experience various quarrels, misunderstandings and breakups, which are fortifying their bound, until they reach their happy ever after. And these things are shown in both MVs. Mahiru admits that she is testing him, she is "happy" to receive this pain that occurs after a breakup. "The breakup rituals" in her point of view are strengthening their relationship and as the time goes on she believes they are closer to their happy ever after. Which in her case, it doesn't really happen.

Modesty - Mahiru has actually very simple wishes when it comes to love. She wants loyalty, the interrogation questions demonstrating that she dislikes cheating and finds it morally wrong.

"Have you ever had an affair?"

She is happy with everything she receives as long as it was made with care and love.

"What's your favourite food?"

Mahiru just wants a person who accepts her love, someone who can appreciates her for who she is.

"What do you wish from your lover?"

A lifetime, traditional love, based on loyalty and compassion...

"What is the ultimate form of love?"

~Beliefs~

-> If two people split a strawberry between themselves then they are bound to fall in love.

The sequences with the cake are interesting... Maybe I'm overthinking, because they aren't literally splitting the fruit, but I want to point this detail:

The bf's slice is small, while Mahiru's filled with a lot of frosting and the whole strawberry. It seems like the bf wasn't as involved in the relationship as Mahiru and that this relationship was bound to fail from the start... Mahiru's love could have been too overbearing for him, resulting in him wanting to end ties with her. It's really sad from both perspectives... While I understand Mahiru and the feeling of wanting to be loved and having someone that understands you, he wasn't the perfect match for her, and neither she was for him. Both had different perspectives of love and neither of them had filled their requirements and needs...

->If you dream about eating a strawberry it could mean that you are about to witness a wedding. Dreams where someone else is eating a strawberry are often interpreted as meaning the dreamer has strong romantic attraction for the person cosuming the food.

Now, I know this seems like a scretch, but to be honest i always perceve the MV's as dreams. I imagine the prisoners sleeping during the extraction and while the machines is doing it's work, they have visions with their crime.

Anyway, Mahiru is trying to make her bf eat that slice with the strawberry, basically she is giving him her love. Unfortunately, he refuses to eat it, he is refusing her love and we see this scene from his point of view:

A rotten love, it's the best I can describe it. Mahiru is forcing her love and feelings to him, who doesn't want to receive them anymore.

And a note for the wedding part: Mahiru always wanted to marry the person she loves. In the MV she is never seen eating the strawberry.

"What's your opinion on marriage?"

Mahiru: "It's something I really dream of."

->Entire strawberry plants were used to treat drepression and melancholy.

Another interesting fact indeed.

This can also refer to Mahiru's mental state, which is deteriorating in Milgram's prison, but maybe it can also refer to her bf as well?

The first part of MV... The lyrics are quite sad and depressing.

"Sigh... No appetite, I can't sleep,

my hair's a mess

What am I supposed to do now?

If you won't tell me, I can't be me"

Considering that he ended his life, this shows that he was in a very bad state of mind, so Mahiru trying to give him the strawberry could mean that she wanted to help him, to cheer him up. An act that doesn't help and does more damage...

Also, the lyric were it says that she doesn't have appetite... The only food shown is the strawberry shortcake, and as the fact tells.. It's like she doesn't feel worthy of this "treatment" to cure her own sadness... :(

If I find more interesting things, I will probably continue. I'm not very pround of this, but I think it highlighted a few details.~🍰🍓

Also here's another story I wish someone would write inspired in my current late night sleep deprived scrolling and too much Rock of Ages clips:

Colin Bridgerton Rock Star who has lost himself in sex drugs and alcohol to cope with the decline of his song writing inspiration. Enter Penelope Featherington, former childhood friend turned, rolling stone journalist who interviewed Colin for the magazine and wrote a terribly unflattering article (so what if she chewed him up and told him he was an irresponsible child who needed to man up, so what if he accused her of literally running away from their friendship when he got famous and forgetting he existed until this dang interview, so what if they had hate sex! So what if she ruined him for all other women) What Colin cares about is that he needs to find her again and make her retract what she wrote about him in Rolling Stone!!

Side plots Featuring Anthony, Benedict and Gregory, band mates who are sick of him and coping with Colin's trainwreck lifestyle by equally trainwrecking their own lives.

Anthony is a recovering sex addict with a bunch of groupie girlfriends that always follow him around who has fallen head over heels for his ball busting bodyguard Kate. Yes he's fallen for Kate! Who would rather meet his crazy fans with a glock at dawn than let him buy her a drink, Kate with walls a mile high who roundhouse kicked him the last time he told her she looked hot. Kate who smiles at him when she thinks he's not looking and thinks he's going to propose to her sister. Why did he fall inlove with Kate? He likes her! Why can't she like him back? Kate is willing to take a bullet for him but she won't let him anywhere near her heart. So sex drugs and alcohol it is, maybe if Kate sees how much of a trainwreck he can be, she will quit and cease tormenting him. If Anthony can't have Kate then nothing matters anymore

Benedict resident polyamory Rock Star fresh out of a breakup with his other two equally famous significant others, trying to ' create art' and cover Colin and Anthony's messes only to find his muse in a one night stand he had when he was super wasted. Granted the new housekeeper his mom hired for the band seems awfully familiar, but this Sophie girl is just too cute to be his sexy goddess of silver. Doesn't mean he hasn't tried to bang Sophie, but she said she's not into meaningless flings with washed up bass players, so fine no sleeping with her, he will treat her like an employee too, but as an employer he needs her to remain around him all the time, when Sophie smiles she helps him get back his inspiration, he can paint again when she's around, that's all that's keeping his attention, of course he wants Sophie to see him as a man, but its okay if she doesn't... Right? Right??

Then there's Gregory, the drummer, trying to make it in the Rock Star scene, and keep his older brothers from doing a full kamikaze on their relationships and their band. He's so lucky he's got his best friend Lucy supporting him trough this, dang it would suck if Lucy didn't come to his concerts or gave him a listening ear. She's trying to make it in Hollywood as a Disney actress and she's been Gregorys rock, her agent is a bit of a diva but if Lucy gets a shot at stardom Greg encourages her to go for it. That's until news of Lucy's relationship with pop idol Haselbaby reaches Gregory. What do you mean his Lucy is dating some pop idiot who can't even sing? Why would she? She's his best...his best... oh forget it Lucy is HIS, and no Disney romance publicity stunt is going to stop him from taking her back and making her his girlfriend. And with brothers too dumb to tell him not to be stupid, he's about to destroy Lucy's entire Disney career by kidnapping her and bringing her on tour with him. If the media won't give his Lucy attention unless she gives them drama, his stunt will make her name flash in headlines for years to come!.

george isn't quite finished washing when matty comes in. he makes no effort to cover up, because...it's matty, but giggles shyly, still, when matty kisses him as he comes over.

he lets matty lean over the side of the bath, kiss his forehead, and looks up questioningly.

matty doesn't wait to ask.

"can i paint you?" he says, and cocks his head to the side slightly.

george blinks. "yes? i think?" he's a little confused why matty's asking as though it's something big.

matty grins, says, "just take your time, don't rush, but don't dress when you're done."

so, george does. he relaxes in the water, lies there lazing in the afternoon sun, and closes his eyes, then gets out.

he does put on his underwear, just out of habit, and matty thins his eyes when he comes into the living room.

"no, take them off."

usually, george would be flushed to hell if matty said that to him, but he just smiles this time, and does it.

"alright. sit...there?" he pushes george around as though he's a dog, trying to get him into a reasonable place, and george doesn't protest, just looks around as it's happening and takes in the room.

it's gorgeous, and he knows why matty was in such a rush to ask him. the sun's spilling all over the floor, and the thin curtains do little to get in its way, so the whole place is dyed a pretty orange.

eventually, matty decides george needs to be on his side. he gets him propped up on one shoulder, and legs bent at the knee, one foot slightly behind the other, and when he's happy with the sight, george looks like something out of a magazine.

he's oddly calm – not thinking about anything dirty the way one might expect, and matty helps that by just being nice and not going further than that.

matty starts, talking right the way through his process, just giving george something to focus on so he doesn't fall asleep, and within ten minutes, he has a scratchy, brown image of george on his canvas.

"you look pretty like this," he says, offhandedly, and george, despite how normal he was feeling before, blushes hugely. matty doesn't see it, he knows that because if he had've, then he most likely would've told him off for moving, but he's still slightly embarrassed.

it takes a while before he gets anything proper, but when he does, george is awed. he loves how matty can just create things like that, all possible planning be damned, because he'll have white canvas one minute, and a gorgeous, picture-perfect piece the next.

but, the issue is that george is flustered. matty, otherwise, would've realised, and maybe indulged, but this time, he's been too involved with his head, and managed to block absolutely everything else out, including the way george has gradually been getting hard.

he really can't be blamed, because matty's been fussing over him for ages, almost two hours, and telling him how beautiful he is. what else would any sane man do, but get off!

but, blame worthy or not, he isn't going to do anything about it.

Pablo personally wasn't a big Taylor Swift fan. He didn't hate her. He just didn't really listen to her. But seeing your reaction he stopped what he was doing and watched you.

Fran sat at the couch reading a magazine chewing on the end of a pen and eating strawberries from a bowl, trying to decide on what thing to buy for herself when she has the money.

Soon a door slams open "OH MY-" fran gets ready to cover her ears to ignore how many obscenities CC would yell and sometimes she said things fran has never heard of and she lives in New York!

"CC! What is going on!" maxwell rushes down the stairs "The play!" maxwells eyes widen "What happended!" CC gripped maxwells collar clenching her teeth "They messed up." CC was panting after the shouting "They messed up the goddamn PLAY!" CC trying not to punch the wall though she turns to Fran the one who still has a strawberry on her lips frozen "Hello Fran," CC sends her a smile a genuine smile then switching to her straight angered face "If no play, no money." maxwell straightened up "We gotta go work on this." CC runs to the office in heels its actually fascinating but its CC so not that surprising.

Fran runs up the stairs behind them opening the office door sitting next to CC making her smile once again "Hello fran." fran giggles "Well hi!" CC chuckles "You look amazing in that suit, like always." CC smiles pressing her finger under frans chin "Wanna see me without it?" CC chuckles watching fran’s cheeks redden.

CC turns to fran "You look gorgeous. Your dress, its beautiful." fran smiles "Oh thank you mrs.babcock. Though should i say CC?" fran smiles "Just today." fran cackles "Nanny fine!" fran and CC turn to maxwell.

CC glares at maxwell "Maxwell what the hell!" CC stands up leaning over the desk "What!" maxwell sits down holding his head in his hands "CC, the play." CC throws the papers on his face her voice dropping it was dangerous and threatening it even scared maxwell, though he would never ever admit that to anyone "Read them yourself you piece of shit." maxwell looks at her in shock "Wait CC-" CC glares at him "Shut up!" maxwell immediantly shuts up picking up the papers on the ground.

CC rushes to frans room opening the door to see fran pacing in biting down on her lip, snapping her head up to CC anger in her eyes.

"I thought you had my back out there!" fran yells at CC with her accent and the rasp in her voice getting thicker "What made you think that fran." fran looks at CC confused "CC i turned to you for help and all you did was stand there!" CC turns to her and fran felt her heart drop to her feet, she hasn’t seen CC look at her so cold and threatening months ago what changed? fran didn’t know.

CC sighs "Fran, Maxwell gets mad sometimes and he was just freaking out." fran felt her nose burn along with her eyes beginning to itch, sniffling fran tries to make up a sentence without completely having a melt down infront of the person she believed that loved her back "Ya know CC, im inlove with you." fran looks up at CC expecting CC to be taken aback with eyes full of disgust but no, she is looking down at her with softness in her eyes "I know." CC sighs itching to take fran into her arms kiss her and hold her til they mold into one.

CC knew fran loves her and CC knew she loves her back "Im inlove with you too." fran wraps her arms around CCs neck and CC wraps her arms around her waist "We shouldn’t be doing this fran, this can-" fran pulls away slapping CCs arm then slapping her again before beginning to punch CC in the chest frantically and CC was grunting ignoring the pain of the punches hitting her "Your so selfish!" fran cries out.

"Fran-" fran stops though her hands were still on CCs chest "I was there just to be by your side!" frans voice cracked as she grabs CCs hand trying to hold her still "I want to be with you CC, i want you." CC slowly slides out her grasp as to not hurt herself more, though it still hurt "Fran..Nanny fine." frans heart shatters from that and its so visible on her face CC felt her eyes begin to burn and get blurry though as she looks down to fran, tears were streaming down her cheeks so CC was sure fran couldn’t see CC also tear up.

CC places her hand onto frans cheek caressing her cheek with her thumb and its too affectionate for fran in the situation they are in she would sink even farther and it would be so much worse for them but fran leans into the touch anyways closing her eyes "Nanny Fran, i don’t think this would work out." fran shakes her head "We can make it work sweetie." CC shakes her head "Fran, we can’t ." fran lets out a sob as CC places a kiss on frans forehead "Can’t we just try?" CC sighs "Fran-" CC gets cut off by a shout.

"Mrs.Fine!" CC pulls away from fran making fran let out a small whimper "Come on fran you need to get back in there." maxwell grabs frans arm, CC looks at fran "The kids are freaking out!" CC felt tears begin sliding down her cheeks and god the sight was so hurtful "You need to fix your makeup." maxwell says then turning back to the door "Yes Mr.Sheffield." fran sniffles and smiles at maxwell that smile, the smile she uses toward maxwell to seduce him.

It hurts to see fran going back to her old ways again and fran knew it hurt CC but nevertheless fran thought of it all the time every night and tried to talk to CC but CC denied it everytime so fran decided to get with maxwell, ignoring CCs teary eyes even though hers are also full of water.

I broke my tumblr earlier ooos anyways. I have a disassembly drone oc so why not make a worker drone one? Meet Minnie :) or Minerva. Minnie’s just a nickname. I realized I haven’t seen any gothic drones yet so far (if there are any show it to me Rachel) so I did my own :) coughs so here’s some lore

Since I’m not quite sure how drones would’ve procured knowledge of gothic fashion on their own I came up with a little bit- a scientists daughter was hardcore goth and had a lot of literature, style magazines and cultural notes on it in her room as well as her wardrobe being incredibly gothic. Before Minnie and her family came to Uzi’s colony, they crashed at that house to avoid the angels of death and Minnie fell inlove gothic stuff:3 when they eventually had to leave though, she had already read most of the literature and stuff but took what she could carry of the clothes and other books/notebooks. She plans to go back one day and get the rest but unfortunately nobody wants to grant her a solo mission just to risk her life for some fancy clothes.

I kept the desgin minimal for beta desgin reasons but here’s the inspo- she made her own clothes- and instead of human skulls she thought she’d add a more drone touch to the genre by putting the little worker drone heads symbols instead. I doubt there was much lace on copper nine- and even if there is lace on the original goth pieces she found she doesn’t want to obstruct them, so fur is used as more as a substitute accentuating detail :)And yeah that’s. Almost it- I think her and uzi would be friends, alternatively fashioned people always flock together somehow.:3
