Hello humans & guess who's back from the pits of hell, often referred to as terms? This girl right here. ✨ So to celebrate the end of my exams and Diwali (the Indian festival of lights), I thought I'd share my most anticipated read with you, using Diwali as my theme. #Inkredia by Sarang Mahajan ( @authorsarang ) has been trending massively on #bookstagramindia For a while now, & man am I glad to discover this book! It is one of the only high fantasy books written by an indian author I've heard of, & being an ambitious writer of fantasy myself, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book. It is honestly so gratifying to see someone laying down the foundation for something you've wanted to see for the longest time, in my case, more Indian writers to be discovered and recognized by the fantasy writing community. I am glad Sarang Mahajan is playing a role in that revolution. Will this book be worth the hype? Judging by the insane amount of positive feedback it has been receiving so far about its masterful world-building & intricate plot, I highly doubt it will be an uninteresting read. But I guess I'll have to wait a while before I can decide for myself how well earned the excitement was(my TBR pile is already burying me alive guys). But in any case, I can assure you, this book WILL find its way into my blog. So instead of reading or working on my manuscript, I spent the last week watching Avatar: The Last Airbender. Do I regret it? NAH.
