My strangest malevolent crossover ideas, in no particular order:

H2O: Just add water (the possibilities are endless. Arthur wakes up on mako. Arthur wakes up IN the moon pool on a full moon. It’s specifically just having a guy clearly in the horror genre crashing into a teen drama.)

Legacies (This one is kinda out there. Takes place in S1 of legacies; Arthur is mistaken for a monster trying to steal the first key to Malivore/he IS actually there to take the key bc Kayne. Bonus points if someone can hear/sense John and the similarities between the Dark World and Malivore are recognized)

Ink Masters (Look. I have no good explanation other than I was watching a lot of this show last week. Anyway they run a duo shop/Arthur tattoos and John guides him. They’re great for TV because they fight constantly, but also stay in the competition a really long time because they’re good at what they do and (obviously) are connected on a level no one else can match)

Bridgerton (literally exactly the type of place Kayne would send them. He’d be laughing his ass off. Another genre combo!!! POV the biggest gala of the season is happening and this random guy with a pistol, several scars, and a feral look in his eye stumbles in through the gardens. He says he’s new in town)

F1 & Pacific Rim (I’ve mentioned these in other posts)

Criminal Minds (Arthur is arrested, either by Kayne’s doing or his own, except they can’t profile him because he’s. Well. HIM (and John). Or he’s a new recruit and just weird as fuck)

im watching ink master and absolutely fascinated by how they get people to volunteer (or even if they're paid) to get tattoos done by artists who are being deliberately sabotaged?? like "only six hours and they were assigned a style they admit they're bad at by their competitors" oh yeah let me just roll up in there, hey, free tattoo! i do not understand that mindset at ALL. i understand getting an artist's choice tattoo from an artist you know you love who has free rein, but when you can't pick the artist and you might get the one who hasn't even done color in eight years? what kind of self-harm bullshit, man

(i also don't understand why an artist who knows they can't do color, or can't do black and grey, would want to be on ink master. like you know they're not just gonna let you do your one style every time, right? you're aware of that, right?? literally what are these people thinking, i'm so embarrassed for them)

I just finished watching Ink Master, season 15. I'm, usually, a very happy, accepting person, but how the hell did Bobby win and Freddy lose? Don't get me wrong. Bobby is an amazing artist and he tattooed very well, but Freddy is an exceptional artist. What he accomplished in the time allotted was incredible. His second tattoo created such intense emotion in everyone who saw it. Some of them were totally upset by the image. They didn't just not like it, they hated it. Isn't that what art is supposed to do? Evoke emotion. Create a deep feeling within the observer. Freddy nailed that. His technique was flawless and he created true art. He thought outside the box. He pushed the limits. He took tattooing to a new level. Why did they not reward him for doing that? He should've won. Hands down. Bobby created amazing tattoos, but they were of a more common type. Technically, they excelled, but they did NOT evoke deep emotion and they did NOT push tattooing to a new level. I think an injustice has been committed and I just had to say so. Freddy should've won. There, I said it and I feel better having done so. I hope that he competes again. I love his art. It's brilliant. I want to see what else he creates. Congratulations to Bobby. You are a very talented artist, too.

so it's that time again and im rewatching old inkmaster stuff and genuine question, why don't the artists ever bring like the fake skin with them? cause if their canvas flakes out they can just tattoo that instead of them finding a second canvas or tattooing themselves?
