It happened in the blink of an eye.
The Alpha Alakazam glanced at Khan, who had been oddly subdued since begrudgingly giving up where their next destination was, and then Ingo heard โyou might be surprised by what you need,โ and suddenly he was in the middle of a blood bath.
And Ingo was no stranger to battles- he and Emmet made a living off them, after all, and he'd participated in a handful of raids against scientists who thought they knew best for the world. He had seen the aftermath of people who had been attacked by wild pokemon, and what remained of those who decided their best course of action in life was to jump into a set of train tracks. It was never any less horrifying, and Ingo occasionally had nightmares about what he'd seen, but where he was nowโฆ
It simply was a nightmare.
Fires burned in varying degrees all around him. Some consumed trees, and some consumed bodies. He tried to find something to put them out with there was nothing nearby. Not even snow. At the sound of laughter he turned his head to see a group of humans in pale tunics walking away, a few of them carrying bloodied sticks. Anger flushed through his veins and he went to chase after them but was pulled backwards instead. He tried again, and again, but their strange words vanished into the forest and faded into darkness. Ingo was left surrounded by corpses of pokemon, confused and horrified.
There was nothing he could do, and he didn't know why he was here.
The sun faded in the sky and the fires began to die, slowly turning to embers. The bodies they'd consumed were nothing but charred husks, and the primitive buildings he'd first thought to simply be fallen trees collapsed on themselves with no support left. It has taken Ingo longer than he cared to admit that this hadn't just been a group of pokemon- it had been their home, where they'd had their own rooms. There were enough bodies here to be an entire family, the kind biologists loved to see where he came from. They were so few and far between, requiring a curious amount of intelligence, teamwork, and tolerance. He knew people, personally, who would have loved to observe this family.
And here he was, observing their bodies instead.
A terrified yelp grabbed his attention; another den had just collapsed. Apparently this inhabitant had been alive. Ingo dashed over and tried to remove branches- his hands went right through, but he didn't stop trying. After releasing his own anguished scream - why was he here when he was so useless?! - the branches moved. An ashen, burnt paw emerged first. The sticks wiggled again, collapsing around the body further, until the remaining pokemon finally managed to pull itself free. And it was only then, staring at the young Zorua, that Ingo finally realized what he must have walked into.
He turned to look, to take in what he had taken for granted before.
The bodies weren't just pokemon. They were Zoroarks, Zoruas. Pokemon that had, from his understanding, been long loathed in Hisui. Seen as ill omens, as dangers to their societies. This clan must have settled somewhere, thinking it a safe area to raise their family, only for it to be discovered by humans. Humans who were fearful of what they saw as dangerous. Attack before you are attacked. Ingo could, to an extent, understand why- pokemon in Hisui were so much more aggressive, defensive, than those he had grown up with and known. Some people had pokemon partners but they were not like what he was used to. And with this clan settling in, with new generations being reared, he could only imagine the thought process the humans who had found it must have had.
Get them, before they get us.
He turned back to the Zorua, who had emerged from the collapsed den and now stood silently.
Staring.
Ingo wanted to know what his expression was, but just as he began to lean over to look the pokemon began moving. He approached the closest corpse first- this one hadn't been burned, at least, but there was a puddle of blood haloing it. The Zorua didn't seem to notice his paws getting wet as he drew closer, lifting a paw to nudge the body. The corpse. As Ingo expected, there was no response. The Zorua tried again, finally turning away when the corpse remained still.
Ingo followed as it staggered around the ashes of the clearing, prodding at every body it found regardless of their state. Some were so very obviously deadโฆ but the Zorua still tried.
Trauma, Ingo knew, did funny things to a mind. To one as young as thisโฆ
It was no wonder why Khan was the way he was.
The young pokemon finally stopped, his breaths coming faster and faster. Ingo knelt down when his back legs collapsed, arms reaching out as if he could help. As before, he simply phased through. The Zorua turned his head, finally revealing the scar that Ingo would come to know well, now a fresh wound that still bled. His paws were cut up and burnt, there were scratches and lesions all along his back. He was a mess. Ingo could hear frantic, near-silent whines coming from the Zorua. It was hard to say if the volume was from fear that he would be heard, or if the smoke had gotten to his lungs.
Tears began slipping from the Zorua 's eyes. His panting became one long, hiccuping whine. His head remained turned, staring behind him, and Ingo was struck by what he'd yelled at Khan in anger so long ago, and yet so recently.
โYou have no idea what it's like to have a family you can't return to!โ
Khan, of all of their companions, absolutely did. Thisโฆ this was why his reaction had been so strong, why Nana and Mnesomyne both had stepped in to stop Khan from assaulting - perhaps even killing - Ingo.
This is why she sent me here.
Ingo looked down at the Zorua again. Khan seemed to be frozen in place, but the wind around them was moving leaves and leftover smoke. It was only Khan who was frozen, unable to look away from his slaughtered family.
โI'm sorry,โ Ingo said quietly, placing his hands around Khan's body as if he could actually hold him, โI'm so sorry.โ
#Khan a.#Centaurworld au#Ingo#Not sure how much I'll upload after this tbh. I'm not really feeling it anymore.#In this au Khan takes the place of wammawink but... He's an aggressive asshole. Who aggressively takes care of people.#Not very many (he can't tolerate a lot of people) but his small pack is much beloved by him#And anyone outside that pack is a threat that he will eliminate#Ingo ended up with them through circumstances (named Akari. Why he doesn't sleep much. Why he's so volatile towards humans.#And Ingo has said so much without knowing better. He's going to do better now that he knows tho.#Re: wammawink and horse bonding. So did Ingo and Khan.#Ingo sees Khans past and understands his desire to protect. As a fun no-stress exercise Iโve been turning my favorite guys into dragons :)
It was really just a design challenge and I havenโt made these with the intent of making it an AU, but I couldnโt help but attach some stuff for them in my head already;
-Ingo (and Emmet) are Freight Dragons, massive cargo-carrying dragons that deliver cargo to different stations.
-During one of Ingoโs overseas deliveries there is an accident, and he crashes down into a mountain.
-Injuries sustained cause him to hibernate within a cavern for months, only waking up when Akari goes up to investigate the developed rumors of an unknown beast residing inside the mountain that growls at travelers (it is only him snoring lol)
-He is still injured and cannot fly when he awakes; unable to fly back to his original land (though he canโt even remember it, a head injury left him with a broken horn and amnesia), Akari helps him as best she can while Emmet tries to find him.
I suppose the backstory in my head bled over from my PMD AU, itโs very similar haha.
Iโve designed clothing/accessories for them too, but Iโll show that another day :)

Iโve been thinking about an angsty AU where chandelure gets injured when Ingo goes missing (was taken)

AU where instead of just Ingo, the entire Super Singles Line Train got transported to Hisui at once, which means Ingo and all of the depot agents who were on the train get thrown into Hisui. This is before they started accepting trainers, they're not scheduled to pick anyone up for another 20 minutes, when they are meant to pull into Gear Station. Except they're not even halfway to their destination before shit goes wrong.
Meanwhile the residents of Hisui are just watching a space-time distortion when suddenly a giant fucking metal MONSTER speeds out of it and crashes into a bunch of trees before finally stopping and tipping over. Ingo is at the front of the train and gets hit with the most damage, so he hits his head pretty bad and gets quite a few broken bones. The other train cars were a bit banged up but everyone got off with relatively light injuries in comparison to Ingo. Ingo loses his memory, but the other depot agents don't.
Since they're all wearing a uniform, and calling Ingo "sir," the residents of Hisui are like... did an entire CLAN get displaced by the space-time distortions?!
And the depot agents roll with this because. They don't think it's a good idea to tell these people that they're from the future. Also they're a bit distracted by their VERY injured boss and the whole situation they found themselves placed in.

I had a very painful idea guys. Amnesia swap au. Basically, Ingo lands in Hisui but keeps all his memories. He accepts being a warden because, frankly he has no idea how to return home that doesn't involve getting a God to help. Once Akari comes however? He resolves to help her complete the pokedex to get them both home.
But back in Nimbasa... Emmet tried to search for Ingo at first. He went missing ergo he can be found, Emmet can at least try and help!! Something, however, goes wrong and Emmet ends up injured. Not too severely but he loses all his memories. Elesa and Emmet's pokemon and Gear Station have been able to spark a bit, enough but... most of it is gone

Android au boys getting a bit injured somehow...
Just coming home to Emmet trying to pretend he didn't shatter his synthetic skin layer and reveal his mechanical underneath. He whines when you scold him and has to figure out how to repair him (since conscious androids are seen as a danger).
Ingo somehow injured his optical orb and is flustered as you have to order him a brand new one. He appreciates your initiative but is flustered by his failure. His new eye is something he goes out of the way to never damage again.
Cyrus is mortified that you caught him fixing his own damanger. A puncture hole went right through him, and he was carefully restoring each damaged system. Your worrying about him annoys him as he argues that he is not even technically alive. Though, somehow, it also moves him.

Sooooo, I always thought that Ingo should have a Zoroark in his pokemon team but he doesn't. Just thought it will make sense since it will remind him of Emmet. Anyway, here is some random AU of Ingo and Emmet having a Zorua.
Ingo found Zorua near the entrance of Alabaster Icelands. Zorua was injured, and Ingo quickly tended to its wounds. Though Zorua was happy, it didn't want to return to its wolf pack. So, Ingo decided to sneak Zorua into the Coronet Highlands. To no one's surprise, Melli never caught him, as Zorua pretended to be one of the Pearl Clan members to make him think it was some random business. Ingo's Zorua is extremely timid, and gets scared easily. Currently, Zorua is only used to Ingo and Gliscor so far. Zorua's personality reminded Ingo of someone that looked like him.
Emmet found Zorua in his kitchen, digging through the trash looking for food. Emmet didn't know how Zorua got into his apartment, but he certainly didn't want Zorua eating trash. Emmet's Zorua is an impish-natured prankster and a trash-eating goblin. Zorua likes to mess with Emmet by interrupting his battles and teaming up with his opponent. He can't tell if this is worse than Ingo using Earthquake with his Haxorus.
Also, I made some references of Gliscor and Tangrowth so I know how to draw them. I just wanna show it and I certainly didn't expect people to like my submas post so I'll definitely continue to post more until I get bored.

But for the vampire au, have you considered Emmet getting Severely Hurtโข๏ธ and Ingo turning him to keep his brother alive?
Or do they have an agreement to just let things happen?
โNo.โ Emmet responds simply, decisively.
The answer is expected and yet, the disappointment Ingo feels is an unwelcome heaviness, his constant frown turning genuine without it meaning to.
Ingo had asked the very same question thrice times now.
Once was when they were kids. It was casual inquiry that came with little prompting; he had asked out of curiosity more than anything. Ingo had asked Emmet after they had defeated a trio of challengers off hand. Emmet had laughed, light and airy, when he answered. They had gotten ice cream using their winnings after.
The second time had been following a much more harrowing experience. A safety check forgotten, a simple mistake by a depot agent newly hired, had resulted in a derailed train. Fortunately only a few were injured. Unfortunately, one of those few was Emmet.
Ingo had asked him with bags under his eyes, something quite silly since Ingo didnโt even need to sleep. (Was that makeup? Emmet had joked with an exhausted smile.)
Emmet, laying in that hospital bed, IV's in his arm and a cask around his left leg, had responded much the same, a chuckle rather than a laugh. Perhaps his headache had come back to manage much more than that. Ingo didnโt attempt to change his mind and offered him the chicken noodle soup Elesa had brought for him.
And the third time was right now: Ingo sitting across from Emmet in the dining room of their shared apartment. It was morning and even though the windows curtains were drawn, the room was illuminated with a soft glow. In front of his brother was a plate of eggs and toast, him nursing a cup of black coffee. In front of Ingo was just a cup of tea, untouched and cooling.
โBut why donโt you want to be a vampire?โ
โBut why donโt you want to be a vampire?โ
The way he asks shows his cards far to easily. Whoever had said Subway Boss Ingo was hard to read must have not tried at all.
His brother looks at him, assessing him, and then looks away.
Emmet is silent for a minute, simply gazing at the cup in front of him. His food was getting cold.
Most would think Emmet was being hesitant when answering, that this was a sign he didnโt want to answer at all. But Ingo knows him well. He knows he wants to go over what he will day and that he voices his thoughts properly.
Ingo is patient and waits. Finally, Emmet answers.
โI like the sun.โ His brother says, looking at him. The color of his eyes havenโt dulled all these years. โIt feels warm on my skin. It feels good.โ
โI love eating. The taste, the action. Yup!" Emmet picks at his plate with a hum. "I want to eat what I like, when I like."
โI like my independence." Ingo's tea leaves an ashy taste as he sips it - a floral chamomile bag floats at the bottom of it. "I do not want to be dependent on others. I do not want to be dependent on things out of my control."
"I know that I will have to sometimes." Emmet really looks at him now. "And that is ok. But I still feel the same way.โ
Ingo squeezes his mug, before he relaxes his grip. Emmet notices.
Emmet lays his palm on his chest, closing it into a fist near the middle.
โI like being human.โ It sounds final, the words like a gavel to wood, the way it echoes in his mind. โI do not want to be a vampire.โ
Ingo wants to argue. To convince him that the pros outweigh the insignificant cons, but he does not. No. Usually Ingo is more eloquent with his words, but the fear that rises up in his throat makes his usually well thought out words more brisk, more succinct, more honest as he says the obvious.
โBut you are aging.โ Ingo says. You are dying, Ingo tries, fails, and a refrains to add.
Ingo hands are smooth, his face without a wrinkle. He looks as the same as he as when he first became a subway boss. He has since he was sent to Hisui. Forever youthful. And Emmet.
Emmet's hands are calloused, wrinkled from years of maintenance at gear station. His hair is thinning and his temples were turning white. His stride not as brisk as it was years ago.
โI am.โ Emmet replies. โAnd I will continue to age.โ
Ingo knows Emmet. He is stubborn, just like himself. That is how he is. He knows he will not change his mind. And that makes him clench his jaw, look down at his cup with furrowed brow.
โIngo.โ
Ingo snaps his head up, fear turning to anger that makes him feel sick. He should not be angry, but he is.
โThen you plan to reach your final stop?โ Emmetโs smile dims. Ingo continues anyway. โLeave this station?โ Without me? Ingo clamps down before he utters the accusation.
โYou....you will have me wait here for you to die? And do nothing?!โ
And there it is. Ingo barring his greatest fear since he got turned. The thing that has plaguing his mind since he stood at the grave of his old clan leader in Hisui, at the cemetery where his other wardens were laid to rest. What he had realized as he saw time passes by, years of constant goodbyes and tearful farewells.
It was that, no matter how grand his ideals, the simple truth of the matter was that he was utterly powerless to the passage of time.
Ingo doesn't realize that he has stood up until he is already towering over Emmet's seated form. His fangs barred and he suspects his eyes are slits.
And despite that, Emmet looks calm. He looks...sad.
โI didnโt ask for this.โ Ingo says softly, deflated as the anger leaves his body. To live on as those around him pass. To see enjoy his life without the people he cares most around him.
Ingo feels arms wrap around him and he wraps trembling arms around Emmet too, his head laying on his shoulder. They stay like that for a moment, simply holding each other, not letting go.
"I'm sorry I never gave you the choice." Emmet finally says. Ingo's hands grip at Emmet's shirt. "We were young. You were dying. And I was desperate. I did not want to lose you..."
Emmet pulls back after that, not all the way, but enough to look into Ingo's face. His fangs have retracted, his eyes normal again. "But those details do not matter now, do they?" Emmet sighs out, that sad smile still there.
"They matter. Of course they matter." Ingo protests, but he doesn't elaborate pass that.
Emmet looks at the floor, thinking about his words and looks at Ingo again before saying, "Everything reaches its final terminal."
"Not me." Ingo says. It comes out bitter.
"Everything does." Emmet repeats, shaking his head. He squeezes Ingo's forearm before he lets go. "I did not give you a choice. but you can choose for yourself now."
His brotherโs crows feet, a result from decades worth of smiles, crinkle at the edges as he looks at him. "Just as I choose for myself."
Ingo dwells on those words, on what his brother is offering. A choice and a decision to make. Emmet looks at him and Ingo understands.
With a sigh (a concession, a compromise), Ingo nods and accepts Emmet's answer.
That heaviness Ingo feels is not fully gone from his mind, but it has lightened, the tension of the room dispersing like the morning fog.
Emmet notices, smiles, and sits back down to finish his breakfast. Ingo follows. And then the silence is filled anew with his brother's latest retelling of yet another dealing he had with a rude passenger yesterday.
Ingo listens and they both laugh and talk and all is right and as it should be that morning, in their shared moment of time.
Him and his brother were a two car train, always have been, no matter their differences. And no matter what, he was going to be there with him until his brother's final destination.
And then after that, once that engine has long gone cold, Ingo would decide when his last stop was too.
#AH HA WHOOPS I MADE IT A FIC LMAO#the idea that ingo will outlive emmet one day is one I think about a lot#on a more hopeful note people have mentioned ememt could very well just turn into a ghost pokemon so that they live both forever?#technically?#vampire au#vampire ingo#submas#emmet#kudari#nobori#ingo#pokemon#pokemon fanart#fanart#pokemon fic#fic#long post#angst#??? i think sksks#it ends bittersweet

Queuing posts for most of my AUs! Check out this Masterpost! (Disclaimer! - Please don't comment about their iconic knife bangs! I left them off this reference to keep their faces fully visible.)
Half-Ghost AU
-Premise- (This should hopefully be obvious, but I need to include major warnings for depictions of main character death.)
When Ingo and Emmet are caught in a space-time distortion, all hell breaks loose. Transported instantly to somewhere unknown- Rocky mountains and rough terrain. Not only that, but they've been caught in a territory war between the largest, angriest (Alpha) Electivire they've ever seen with more than enough Electabuzz lackeys to back it, and a whole flow of panicked, confused, furious Magmortar and Magmar. Without their pokemon, they're almost helpless. Desperately, Ingo and Emmet try to escape this warped space. Caught between a rock and a hard place, it only takes a warning one second too late, a dodge too slow, a brother too far away to help. Emmet is caught in the direct strike of a horrifyingly powerful Thunder, killing him before Ingo can finish screaming his name.
They will never be apart. Emmet barely stays down long enough for his body to hit the ground. He is never going to leave his brother alone. Now more than ever, Ingo NEEDS him. He snaps back into awareness from the darkness, just in time to see Ingo trapped in a brutal Fire Spin. Not this time.
Emmet bonds his soul to Ingo, reinforcing him- protecting him.
Ingo barely manages the strength to stumble over the side of the cliff ledge, sliding- tumbling. The strange space, the warped darkness, he's escaped. Heavily injured, Ingo fades to black.
When he comes to, he's greeted by the Pearl Clan medic, Calaba. He doesn't remember what happened, who he is, or how he was injured. ...Something looks, familiar, in the gentle ways his coat has been stitched back up in white. The medic didn't do it. Found him like that, apparently. Despite the newfound stress and unknown situation, his internal monologue is comforting, calm.
-Noteworthy Points- ,,I did warn you. Okay so, notes. Emmet is bound to Ingo and is not a typical ghost. He does not have the strength to manipulate him or possess him in a typical ghost media way. He can try to speak to Ingo, but Ingo hears Emmet's words as thoughts, and believes the thoughts are his own. Emmet can move him or get him to do things, but they generally aren't anything Ingo wouldn't have done on his own, and Ingo also interprets any of Emmet's attempts to do things as though he himself wants to do them.
To summarize, Emmet can have Ingo do small things (Grab item, move hand, perform small action) or even say things of his choosing on occasion, but Ingo is in an extremely fragile state of mind and interprets anything of Emmet's as though they are just thoughts of his own. He sees anything Emmet tries to do as parts of himself.
In regards to ghost powers, he doesn't have much. He is able to help heal Ingo a bit faster than naturally possible, and all of the stuff mentioned above. Emmet also protects him from external influence such as mind control or possession by other ghosts (Usually the pokemon kind). Any time his coat is damaged, Emmet can use pieces of his 'coat' to fix it. Also, Ingo is hurt worse by ghost and dark type attacks, and sometimes has other attacks- normal, fighting -seemingly phase through him. His eyes glow in the dark.
Essentially, Emmet is not a media-typical ghost, but is a different form of spirit. I am not well versed in ghosts to know if there is a specific word for the exact kind. He is a positive, helpful soul who is giving his strength to Ingo to help support him physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Ingo has lost his memory as a trauma response to Emmet's death and his own horrible injuries, and thus does not remember him. His head begins to ache and he becomes unable to think clearly if he tries too hard to remember or is forced to think about it for too long.
Ingo has Pyrophobia, and generally feels uneasy/sad/uncomfortable/upset around electricity. Emmet has Electrophobia, and this becomes most obvious if he is ever trying to help Ingo navigate out of a situation/manages to have a higher amount of control than usual.
oh damn this post is long

Something that got talked about on the discord that I haven't brought up here is the summer camp AU. No time-travel, no amnesia. Just summer camp. Ingo and Emmet used to go to it every year, but Emmet was never as enthusiastic about it as Ingo was. He stopped going around middle school, but Ingo kept it up and eventually became a counselor when he was old enough.
So every summer, Ingo packs his bags and heads to Sinnoh to spend a month and a half working at the sleepaway summer camp there. Lian, Sabi, Akari and Rei are all campers, whereas most everyone else from Hisui is in some kind of position at the Camp, with Kamado running the show. Irida and Adaman are in charge of the two main cabins. Irida just barely is old enough to be a counselor herself after attending the camp for years.
(Lucas and Dawn also attend the camp. They are not related to Akari and Rei in any way. Yes, they're pretty sure.)
(Barry's there too.)
Nobody at the camp really associates counselor Ingo with Subway Boss Ingo, mostly because Ingo just likes to get in touch with his wild side so to speak while at camp. They have cabins for the counselors to sleep in? Oh, that's quite alright. He'll just pitch his tent.
(He's not alone though. Gaeric also does this.)
All of the Noble Pokemon hang around at the camp as well... they're rare variants that the camp takes care of, and they help out around the camp. Sneasler is very attached to Ingo, and sometimes likes to use him as a babysitter. Some things truly never change. Since Ingo leaves all of his Unovan Pokemon with Emmet to help at the Battle Subway, the first year he starts working at the camp afterwards he doesn't have any with him... until he finds an injured Gligar who he nurses back to health and oh. Well. He has another Pokemon now.
(He keeps doing this until he has another full team of six. Whoops.)
#submas#summer camp au#this is just a very silly idea lmao#Ingo and Gaeric as nature-loving besties... that's too much power#akari and rei when they visit unova for the first time: INGO? WHERE'S YOUR BEARD??? AND WHY ARE THERE TWO OF YOU?????

This is inspired by @onestepbackwards PLA Self-aware au! Please go check it out there really cool! Also please be mindful of my writing, it's not the best and I haven't written in a long time so please be nice..
This takes place after Beni tried to assassinate Akari, Akari ran to Alabaster Icelands to Pearl Clan slightly injured from the attack, where she was immediately taken in which cause a massive argument against Irida and Kamado. "She is a demon! She needs to be dealt with!" Kamado yelled at Irida, "she is no demon Kamado! All she has ever done was help all of us and this is how you repay her?!" Irida yelled back, they kept going back and forth, as Ingo held Akari close,
"b-but what did i do? WHAT DID I DO?!" Akari sobbed while shaking in fear, "you did nothing wrong Miss Akari, We'll protect you..." Ingo try to comfort Akari the best as he can, while hiding his ever growing rage, 'if this keeps up, a war was surely break out' Akari thought, 'how much do I have to give in order for these people to be satisfied?' Akari sobbed at the thought. Then suddenly without thinking Kamado aggressively grabbed Irida's wrist,
and just then and without warning.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Kamado and Irida went flying in separate directions as a massive cloud of snow went up into the air, as Irida was caught by Gaeric and Kamado fell onto the ground.
Then a 50 ft Dragon like Pokemon appeared from the cloud of snow and circled around in the air with a loud, booming, deafening roar, came out from the Pokemon, everyone can only look up in the sky and shock, in awe and most of all in horror.
"KAMADO WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" Irida yelled out in fear, 'have we invoked the wrath of the Almighty Sinnoh?' Pearl Clan thought. As the massive Dragon like Pokemon flew around the sky it dived head first into the ground, into the cloud of snow that was slowly falling down, then the snow cleared with a large gust of wind. Revealing a tall person in a altered kimono outfit with cloud designs
๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐..." then suddenly before anyone can blink, you fastly moved in front of Kamado and grab him by the base of the shirt lifting him up and making them look at each other face to face. Kamado looked at them in shocked confusion before slowly realizing...
"๐ป๐๐๐'๐ ๐๐๐๐๐... ๐ป๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
..." The you then pointed at Akari was being held by Ingo as he held Akari protectively, "๐๐ฌ ๐๐๐๐..." "No..." Kamado whispered in disbelief. Everyone was completely in shock, 'Akari? A child of a god? How could they not notice this?!' there's so many questions that everyone including Akari wanted answers to but there's no time to answer. As they all watch what the God was going to do next.
"๐'๐ฆ ๐ฅ๐๐๐ญ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ ๐๐ก๐จ๐ข๐๐... ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐!" You throw Kamado a good few feet away from them as a slowly morph into your dragon form, "๐ฐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐
As they turn back into there dragon form and circle Kamado and his army, "๐ ๐ ๐จ๐ญ๐ญ๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ค๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐!" Everyone's blood ran colder than I already was, "๐ ๐ง๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฌ๐๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฐ๐ง!" You crushed a few of Kamado troops with your clawed dragon hand "๐๐ฎ๐ญ ๐๐๐๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐ ๐ ๐ง๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฆ๐๐ค๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐๐๐ซ๐ง ๐ก๐จ๐ฐ, ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐!!" All everyone could hear a course of voices repeating the last sentence, as you continue to circle around Kamado army, making them close in on each other. Then suddenly you transformed back into your human form and grabbed Beni's arm who was with the Kamado's army, "๐๐จ๐ฎ! ๐๐ซ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๐ฒ๐ฉ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ ๐จ๐จ๐, ๐๐ฎ๐ณ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ'๐ซ๐ ๐ง๐จ๐ญ ๐๐ฏ๐๐ง ๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐ญ.." then you threw him across the field, "๐จ ๐๐๐๐

"๐๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ง๐จ๐จ๐จ๐จ๐จ๐จ๐จ๐จ๐จ๐จ๐จ๐จ~" you said in a mocking tone, then crushed Beni's throat with your bare hand, "NOOOOOO!!" Kamado yelled out in pain, as Beni's blood splattered everywhere and he gurgled on his own blood, then you just tossed him aside like nothing, "๐๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐ซ ๐ญ๐จ๐จ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐จ๐ข๐! ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐!" You the. Grabbed Kamado by the hair, and proceed to drag him around fastly and hastily like a rag doll, has he tried to get out of your grip but you no avail. "๐๐ญ'๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ญ! ๐๐'๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ค ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ข๐๐ ๐ง๐จ๐ฐ!" You then throw Kamado to the ground as he looked up at you with your pure hatred in his eyes.
Then you immediately turn back into your dragon form, has you Tower over him in your dragon form and begin to circle around him and his army once more.
As you say this everyone begins to bow down to you it felt powerful, addicting even, well everyone except Kamado... "Oh almighty God! We met no harm we only banished her to protect us, we take no pleasure in her pain, I only wanted to protect the village-" you raise your hand up to silence him as you transformed back into your human form,
"๐ป๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐..." You say with closed eyes as you slowly raise your arm, "๐๐ฎ๐ญ ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ก๐๐๐ซ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐๐๐ซ๐ค.
As you fully extend your arm towards Kamado and his army,
"๐ฟ๐๐..."
Then the snow became mist again blocking Pearl Clan from seeing the inside of the battlefield. But inside the snow became alive, taking forms of monsters, and they begin absolutely tearing into Kamado army, ripping and tearing they're limbs off an devouring them, 'I guess all those horror games I played really paid off' you thought as you watch the massacre, the only thing Pearl Clan can hear where there's blood currently screams of pain and agony, as they scream for their Commander to do something, anything to save them, but all Kamado can do is stand there, and for some reason the monsters are leaving him alone. He couldn't move, he couldn't breathe, everything was happening too fast for him to process. Until all the screams die down in his entire army was wiped from the face of the Earth, the only thing that remained where the blood stains of his people. As is mist clears and pearl Clan look in horror, from all the blood on the ground.
Through hitched breaths Kamado can only mutter a single sentence has he held Beni's dead body, "what...have you done...?" He can hear the voices of his fallen people 'when does a rebel become a tidal wave?' "๐๐จ๐ฐ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ซ๐ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ง๐จ ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐๐๐ญ, ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐๐ซ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐..." You say 'when does a man become a monster...?' the voices of his fallen comrades taunt him again, "๐ ๐๐ฆ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐๐ซ๐ค๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ..." You summon a blade thanks to your coding abilities, and point it his throat making him look at you. His eyes are filled with disbelief and pain, "๐๐ก๐ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ญ ๐๐ฅ๐ฐ๐๐ฒ๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐๐ฐ๐ฌ ๐ง๐๐๐ซ..." You press the blade against his throat, "๐จ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐
You ask pressing the blade closer. Just when Kamado was about to accept his fate as a single tier went freely down his face, you were stopped, "WAIT STOP!" Akari yelled out as she got go of Ingo's grip "Miss Akari wait!" Ingo yelled out to Akari as she ran over to you "mom! Wait don't do this!" Akari said as she put herself between you and Kamado.
You look at Akari confused, "๐พ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐
You ask confused. "I know mom! But please killing people is not the right way!" Akari try to reason with you, "๐ผ๐๐๐๐... ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ " you say, you turn to Kamado, "๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ 10 ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ " just as you said that he got up and immediately ran away, Looking back leaving Beni's body.
"So Akari! Aren't you going to introduce me to your friends?" You ask in your normal voice, "oh um..yes of course ma.." 'this is going to be a long day...' Akari thought.

Chucks pokemon-ified Emmet at you at Mach speeds
Never talked about this au at any considerable lengths but itโs an au @gender-nuteral-nut-boy and I made where Volo promised Emmet that heโd help him find Ingo but just used him in order to get the Azure Flute and open up the stairs to Arceusโ domain. Once the stairs appeared, Volo had Giratina drop him into the distortion world after taking his pokemon. With Emmet taken care of and the stairs to Arceusโs domain open, he also abandons Giratina, breaking the ball he had him in to leave him stranded in the distortion realm as well.
So Emmet and Giratina are chilling in the distortion realm. Emmet is pretty pissed at the betrayal and Giratina is not helping matters. Giratina is trying to relate to and sympathize with Emmet but ends up stoking the fires of his anger, riling him up further and further as he deteriorates in the distortion world. When Emmet passes, his soul is so full of rage he forms into a new pokemon, his memories left fractured and hazy.
Giratina manages to find a way to let Emmet out to Hisui in order to find Ingo and retrieve his pokemon from Volo. Though, maybe leaving an enraged, volatile pokemon alone in the hisuian wilderness with no supervision might not be the best idea.
Some notes about the design: I wanted it to be kinda banshee based with a bit of reaper/psychopomp too. Heโs got permanent tear marks and a red stripe supposed to look both like his nose and like an exclamation mark. Little scythe fingers :) he keeps his eyes closed unless he becomes angered, where they open and his hair starts to flare out. He turns into his rage form if his team or trainer become injured at all. His typing becomes Ghost/Ice instead of Ghost/Steel, his scythes turning into ice claws and his hair looking like ice spikes. His chest is supposed to look like a rib cage and his eyes completely black out for โgoing into a blind rageโ
Ok Iโm done rambling -u-
Also I made shiny variations!
Enjoy =w=

Introducing Grubmas AU! An au where Ingo and Emmet are buglike aliens called Insectoids, that can mimic other species if they can get some of their DNA. This au was inspired by shows like 3below, Mork and Mindy, and Resident Alien.
@thesilverinfinity and @tinker-brows worked on this with me, including story beats and designing the other alien races involved in the au.
More au info under the cut
During a war on their home planet against another race called the Avians, Ingo and Emmet were stashed aboard a spacecraft along with their father, in an attempt to escape. Their mother stayed behind to protect their means of escape, but their father still sustained a serious injury. He could only stay present long enough to ensure his grubs survived a crash landing on earth.
While Drayden is on a forced vacation to a cabin in the woods, he sees a streak of light descending from the stars above. As Drayden checks the wreckage and accidentally receives a cut on his arm, his Haxorus delves deeper into the wreck after hearing a shriek inside. She comes back out with two big, grub looking things, clinging to her back and shaking in fear. Drayden thinks they're injured bug type pokemon of some kind, so he takes them in his arms to check them over. Grateful about being saved, the two grubs try to lick the cut on his arm to clean it for him. Drayden doesn't think about it much, just wanting to get them inside the cabin to check them over.
Drayden cleans them up, bandages his arm, and the two grubs curl up with Haxorus in her pokebed. Drayden passes out on the couch and the night passes. When he wakes up, Drayden finds two young boys, who look exactly like he did as a kid, just sitting on the couch on either side of him and staring. It takes him a while to figure it out, but when the grubs licked his wound clean, they picked up Drayden's DNA from him. Which allowed them to mimic a human shape in order to blend in.
From then on, Drayden does his best to raise two not-so-human boys the best he can. And Ingo and Emmet learn to navigate in a world completely foreign to them as they grow up and find their place in the universe.
Meanwhile, an avian searching for a plate of mysterious power scours the universe. Unaware that it was hidden in a ship that crashed somewhere beyond the borders of the war. But his spies are approaching, and he is sure that the survivors of the crash can lead him to his prize...........
Fun fact! Their mom is based off a poodle moth while their dad is based off a grasshopper! They show physical aspects of both their parents, and also a lot of instincts and behaviors from ants

HI SAW YOUR TAGS AND SHAKES YOU (lovingly) okay okay okay okay. so like. god. is, is part of his deal is his voice was stolen and thus the need for megapone? is that part of Ingo's struggle or am I misreading?
Less stolen and moreโฆ completely destroyed.
Itโs all voloโs fault really. In this au, Volo is a travelling merchant, searching for legends and loreโฆ and he came across buzzhuzz and the paintings of prophecy. He found out about inspektaโs plans, and ingo bringing the grove back together and saving the world
And, being a man who wants to become godโฆ one god is easier to take down than a whole pantheon. So he needs inspekta to pull off his little scheme.
So, he travels unova (which is on another continent in this verse) and frequents gear station, befriending Ingo and building trust with him. (Emmet can tell something is wrong, but canโt seem to convince Ingo of this.
After building trust for awhile, he pulls out his gambit. Tell Ingo of the prophecy, and get him to plan a trip to the grove.
Ingo, of course, doesnโt see himself as important enough for something like thisโฆ but humours Volo. If he isnโt the hero he will at least help where he canโฆso, instructing emmet to stay home to watch the station, he plans a trip!
Only for Volo to pull Ingo aside on his way to whatever heโs taking to get thereโฆ and tries to kill him.
This way, no one will look for Ingo as quickly. Heโs on a trip, heโs just busy, what have you.
And he hides Ingoโs body on a random shipโฆ that way it will be even harder to track the murder to him.
Except that boat is going to the grove. And Ingo is not dead. His voice is gone, and heโs horribly injuredโฆ but heโs still kicking.
The prophecy continues as it was foreseen to, despite Voloโs attempt to derail it.
Edit: QUICK NOTE! Ingo doesnโt remember the prophecy, or volo attacking him. He remembers volo is a friendly merchant! He doesnโt know why heโs not at the station. He wants to go home.
#pokรฉmon#submas#subway boss Ingo#great god grove#great god grove spoilers#at a place with bad connection so if tumblr weirdness happens im sorry#this is my second attempt at answering your question-

Maybe the clan could call themselves the โSubway clanโ or the โStation clanโ or something like that just to try to either jog Ingoโs memories and/or just use something familiar. They would also call Ingo โBoss ingoโ or โsubway boss ingoโ and all the other people would be super confused like : โ What in sinnohs name is a subway and why is that clan obsessed with them?โ
Just some silly ideas, I REALLY like this AU, Super bravo!! Excellent!!
I feel like since Ingo is the only boss around, they'll just call him Boss or Sir, as opposed to Boss Ingo or the mouthful that is his full title. Plus, they do at some point realize that attempting to get Ingo to remember is actively hurting him because of the pressure, so they're careful to just... act normal around him, and don't make attempts unless he specifically asks for it. The medic on the team won't have them giving Ingo any stress, ESPECIALLY with how injured he was.
Anyways, I'd like to think that at least one of the depot agents is probably a sci-fi nerd. Meaning that they're hyper-aware that fucking with the timeline is uhhh Bad. I imagine at some point they would panic and come up with a wild cover story about them being from a totally different world altogether.
Which would OBVIOUSLY fuck with Historians in the future even MORE. Did the existence of modern day trains come from the schematics from another world? Just how advanced was the otherworld train that had crashed in Hisui, in comparison to modern trains? How advanced was their society? WHY DID THEY REFUSE TO HAVE THEIR PICTURES TAKENโ
Basically it's a "were trains invented by aliens" debate bc One Person panicked and came up with the worst story imaginable. It's like how people think the Pyramids were made by aliens.

Hi! I love mermaid Volo and fisherman Emmet. Always a pleasure to see your art!
I can't help but imagine Ingo minding his business fishing too and out of nowhere his brother comes out with a freaking merman boyfriend lol
Question: mermaid interpretation varies in cultures and usually they are perceived as scary monsters, modern times where greatly influenced by Disney giving mermaid a better pr. How are they perceived in your AU?
ahhhhh omg thank you so much for that!
and HHHH yeah that's pretty much on point! XD Ingo just being like "Emmet no way you can't be serious, we have no means to care for an injured mermaid! we are way in over our heads here!" (I can't remember if I even went into detail about the AU so far but for context essentially Emmet takes in an injured mermaid Volo, tries to care for him so he can heal enough to go back to the ocean, it turns out to be a huge ass mess because Volo doesn't trust humans nor can humans and mermaids communicate with each other really aaaaand yeah :'D Emmet tries his best but it ain't so easy...)
I would say though that for this AU mermaids are more on the scarier monster side - they can be pretty dangerous and even have some features about them that are dangerous (like venomous fins!)
