Jean Pierre Darroussin (French Actor)
Jean Pierre Darroussin takes a leading role as Henri Dufolt (Code name Socrates) in the French TV Series "Le Bureau des Legends"
The Bureau of Legends or BDL is a French television series in five seasons broadcast and fifty episodes of 52 minutes created by Éric Rochant
Within the General Directorate for External Security (DGSE), a department called the Bureau of Legends (BDL) trains and remotely directs so-called clandestine agents. Immersed in foreign countries, their mission is to identify people likely to be recruited as sources of intelligence . Operating in the shadows, "under legend", that is to say under a completely fabricated identity, they live for many years in permanent concealment.
Guillaume Debailly, alias Paul Lefebvre, alias Malotru, returns from a six-year clandestine mission in Syria . In contradiction with security rules, he does not seem to have completely abandoned his legend or the identity under which he lived in Damascus 2. His love affair with the Syrian Nadia El Mansour will seriously complicate things and lead him in particular to play a double game between the DGSE and the CIA .
Organization of the DGSE
The series is based on the real organization of the DGSE. The characters who are part of the DGSE hierarchy are:
Pierre de Lattre de Tassigny, the Director General of External Security , played by Stefan Godin
Marcel Gaingouin, the Director of Operations , played by Patrick Ligardes .
Colonel Marc Lauré, known as “MAG” (Waffle Iron), the Director of Intelligence , played by Gilles Cohen , direct superior to the head of department.
Jean-Jacques Angel, known as JJA ( James Jesus Angleton ), the head of the security department (DSEC) then of the Bureau des légendes, played by Mathieu Amalric .
Henri Duflot, known as "Socrates", head of department, played by Jean-Pierre Darroussin . This position is then occupied by Marie-Jeanne Duthilleul, played by Florence Loiret Caille .
This amazing series is currently streaming on Paramount+ in the UK

i remembered rip hunter is booster gold's son in comics canon and i was like "well that could make post-oculus stuff Interesting" and also booster's supposed to be like, the person fixing the timeline. so. i don't know, i chucked canon in a blender, have rip calling booster "Dad" for six sentence sunday
~~
Gideon’s calm “Captain Hunter, Marshal Carter is on the bridge waiting for you,” had Rip on even more on edge than he already was; the Legends had blown up the Oculus, had stopped Vandal Savage, but he’d still lost Miranda and Jonas, and Snart had been lost with the Oculus. Rip wanted nothing to do with whatever Marshal Carter was doing on his the Waverider.
Storming into the Waverider’s bridge, Rip was stopped by the sight of Marshal Carter, in his stupid, six and a half foot tall glory, saying, “Before you bite my head off, Captain Hunter, you have a man that’s supposed to be dead and a delightful woman and little boy in your medical bay.”
“With all due respect, dad,” Rip said, eyes welling up with tears, “go fuck yourself.”
“Go see your wife, Mickey,” Rip’s dad said, a sad, sad expression on his face. “The timeline’s fixed, she’s safe, and we’ll have a good long talk about how we can get rid of the Time Bureau again later.”

Journalist B N Uniyal was the first to train the spotlight on caste in Indian media, through his piece 'In Search of a Dalit Journalist', which was published in The Pioneer on November 16, 1996. A foreign reporter had asked Uniyal for an introduction to a Dalit journalist. Uniyal realised he did not know one. He analysed 454 caste surnames of 686 journalists accredited by the Press Information Bureau. There was not a single Dalit among them. He called up 47 of the remaining 232 accredited journalists—and still drew a blank. To celebrate the dawn of the new millennium, The Pioneer invited Uniyal to write for its eight-page Dalit supplement. He sent them the 1996 piece with the following addition: “The article…was totally ignored by our journalistic establishment… None felt aghast or alarmed at the situation described in the article.”

Can you post the rest of the FOIA thing on trans violence? It's super interesting. Also, a possibly silly question, but I'm not an American and don't know how these things work: how do they send you this info? Like a PDF file, or do they publish it somewhere, or something completely different? Thanks!
Hi!
I sure can. It won't hold as much useful information but I'll post what I've got back.
So you can either go onto their website, fill out a form and submit it or go through email. When they receive your request you'll get an email like the one posted on the foia post. Typically it will just acknowledge they got your request and if it's information that has been requested before they can typically answer pretty quickly or give you an estimated time of when you can receive the answer.
For FOIA Bureau of Prisons it's this one here
The first time I requested, I was answered with a PDF file through email as an attachment
I'm thinking because others had requested before.
This time I received a link and was asked to make a username and password to access the PDFs, which I then downloaded.
So I suppose it can either be an attachment through email or a link that will have you register to access the information and download it.
