i don't have any specific purpose for them (and if i need a specific token i have Infinitokens to draw on). in practice they usually end up serving as copies of one of these two dudes:

creatures that inherently have Myriad are extremely fucking funny when you end the turn at the start of the end-of-combat phase to dodge having to sacrifice the "temporary" copies. usually it goes like this:

slap down Warchief Giant with either Sundial or Obeka on the field and swing at someone (doesn't matter who). Myriad triggers to make 2 extra attacking copies of the Giant, so you're attacking everyone for 5

at end of combat, in response to the game politely asking you to sacrifice your temporary copies, use Obeka or Sundial to tell it to fuck off by skipping your second main phase. you now control one "original" Warchief Giant and two token copies of it. really smart players will identify you as the threat starting at this point

attack anyone with the 3 Giants, each of which triggers Myriad and spawns 2 more copies for a total of 9 Giants attacking everyone other than you for 15 each. decently smart players and ones who can do basic math will identify you as the threat starting at this point

9 Giants in. 27 Giants roaming the field attacking for 45 three times over. mankind is dead. blood is fuel. you are now Archenemy

The Magic Pouch & Other Organization

A simple organizer to stop me from going to the LGS without things I need.

When it comes to Paper Magic (in particular Limited) I am a bit of a disorganized mess when leaving home. I've turned to organization to have most of what I need and not have to quickly buy more supplies every time I suddenly decide to go drafting. It's also come in handy when playing other games on short notice.

The Pouch and MatPod

This is a simple pouch from Amazon (Not an affiliate link, and I'm not exactly recommending this one, this is more on the concept. I got it because it was cheap and seems functional). It unfolds flat and has space to hold a pack of sleeves, a pack of InfiniTokens, and a few dry erase markers on one side. The other has a couple more pens and markers, a small card sized life pad, and either a battery bank or notepad. The front pocket has a small microfiber cloth to do the erasing of the tokens.

I like the attachment points on the back and handle to link it onto a backpack or Quiver for big events. Or to loop it onto the carabiner on my MatPod so that if I have my playmat I have at least some of my supplies. Bonus with the MatPod is the ability to clip it onto a belt loop with a small bottle of hand sanitizer. Thank you to the bottle of Real Madrid hand sanitizer with a carabiner for this discovery. It looks cool, and playmats don't weigh much so the small bounce throughout a RCQ or MagicCon day isn't a problem. It even kind of falls to the side when you sit down for a match. This doesn't account for a deck box, but there have been times where I've used the tried, and at least temporarily functional "Sleeve Bag as Box" method. And the bag with the InfiniTokens can act as more Sideboard storage for the draft. I'd be a bit stuffed for sealed, but small cardboard boxes or small acrylic ones aren't too bad for the pool.

How should we handle art-matters cards with tokens? It seems reasonable that if I use an official Soldier token for a soldier, that it would have that art. But what if I've sketched my own soldier on an Infinitoken, does that count as the token's art? What if I have a tattoo on my hand and use Handy Dandy Clone Machine? What if I make a Soldier, but I don't have any soldier tokens handy and use a Knight token instead?

Art matters cards look only at official art, but that does count official tokens with art.

I have come into possession of some decent chunk of amazon vouchers. Does anyone have suggestions for cool mtg things I could buy? I just got done using up my MH2 packs so I'm in no great rush to get more sealed, but I am always looking for more cool commander cards to use.

I may just spend them on sensible things like infinitokens, binders, and inner sleeves otherwise.

This was so much easier when I was younger, more irresponsible with my money, and not very knowledgable about what products existed. I bought a lot of Shards of Alara tournament packs...
