"We saved the world," Crowley says weakly as Aziraphale places him down gently across the backseat of the Bentley and slips himself into the driver's seat. It's not until a long while later that Aziraphale remembers to start the car, and he looks back despairingly at where Crowley has fallen asleep, head against the window. And yet I couldn't save you.

(unpublished chapter of tht): He doesn't do any of those things. Aziraphale turns anyway.

that is all i have to offer 😌 although i did write "wait... six chapters? FUCK" in my wip document because i realised that wip has the potential to be 6 chapters long even though i intended it to be a oneshot
