Steve had been acclimating in the world since he had woken up in it, and honestly? Sometimes he thoroughly enjoyed getting to go out and hang out with friends. It wasn't often because he thought of himself as a homebody, but he had to admit that he kind of was, and he had just as much fun out here in the world.

"Last time I was out, I actually found this really nice hole-in-the-wall ice cream place. If you're interested, we should go. It's not often I can get an ice cream treat without kids talking over each other about what kind of cone they want." Steve offered, laughing a little. "Wife won't let me back for an hour anyway--I'm bad at extending my hangouts these days and she's worried about me."

So I thought I better record a little greeting, in the case of an untimely death, on my part. I mean, not that death at any time isn't untimely. This time travel thing we're gonna try and pull off tomorrow, it's got me scratching my head about the survivability of it all. Then again that's the hero gig. Part of the journey is the end. What am I even tripping for? Everything's gonna workout exactly the way it's supposed to.

Force a ship on me. That’s happened before and it was an extremely unpleasant situation. I like writing intricate stories, exploring many kinds of relationships and not just romantic ones so if shipping is all you care about, I’m not the right blog for you. That doesn’t mean I won’t ever write shippy things, I just like to do some plotting first, work on building the bond between our muses, that’s much better than just instashipping.

Follow me or approach me to write with you if you’re under the age of 18. Most muses on this blog are from horror franchises so mature themes will be present here almost on a daily basis and interacting with minors when I write this type of characters would make me uncomfortable.

Godmod. Some mild stuff is fine but if we’re writing a scene where a fight is taking place or something, don’t severely hurt or kill my character without plotting that with me first, that would be just rude.

So this is sort of a horror-themed blog so things like blood and violence won’t be tagged, if things do get a little too explicit however, I will be tagging the posts as “[insert trigger here] cw”, smut and the like will be tagged as nsfw and put under a read more. Let me know if you ever need anything specific to be tagged & I’ll do my best to have everything tagged accordingly.  

I do some formatting and usually add icons to my replies. But if you don’t do that, it’s fine, I don’t really care about that and I will still write with you so no worries!

I write some characters from video games here and I know some people prefer to use rl faceclaims for those while others just use screencaps from the games to make icons. I'm okay with either, really and will adapt to my rp partner's choice regarding that when we're writing together. 

My Resident Evil muses are heavily affiliated with my friend's ( cautionsissued ), since we've done lots of plotting together for them. So her muses Chris, Claire, Carlos, Mia, Rose and Sherry are my mains. But if you write one of those characters too, don't worry, I still will rp with you, it just won't be set in my main/default verse but in a different one. I'm always open to plotting and starting new au's as stated above, that being said-- never let me having a main for a certain character discourage you from writing with me!

I tend to get a little carried away while writing replies sometimes, but never feel like you have to match the length of said replies! Quality over quantity always. :’)

— I joined TOA during the peak of Covid quarantining in 2020 when there was a huge convention dry spell. The indie roleplay scene for Fire Emblem during this time was uneventful too. Having no productive outlet for cosplaying or writing, it lead me to join my first RP group which was (jazz hands) TOA

— My zodiac animal is a rabbit

— I have hundreds upon hundreds of hours clocked on Super Smash Bros from Brawl to Ultimate. You'll never guess who I main.

What non-Fire Emblem games do you play? Final Fantasy XIV, Project Zomboid, Phasmophobia, Touken Ranbu, and Stardew Valley in order of frequency.

Favorite Pokemon type & Pokemon: I like bug types; my favorite Pokemon is Scizor. While not Pokemon my favorite Digimon, Kabuterimon, is also a bug. Honorable mention goes to Greninja.

How did you get into Fire Emblem? Saw Shadow Dragon in my local Gamestop one day and didn't buy it even though it stuck out to me with its somber and less colorful boxart. Next time I saw a Fire Emblem game in the store, i.e., Awakening, I bought and played it. The rest is history.

What Fire Emblem games have you played? If we're talking start-to-end I've played and finished FE1, FE3, FE7, FE9, FE11, FE12, Awakening, SOV, 3H, and Engage. The remaining games in the series I've played to either early or mid game.

Any Fire Emblem crushes? FE7 Rath was my first and only concrete FE crush. Marth was initially more of an aesthetic source of admiration though knowing his character better he likely exemplifies the ideal partner. Similar to Marth he's not really a crush, but right now I think a lot about Rafal, ironically less in the realm of looks or perfection and more at his attractive hot-and-cold personality.

Who was your first TOA muse? If you don’t have them anymore, could you see yourself picking them up again? Marth is my ride or die Fire Emblem character and that extends to him as a muse.

Have you had any other TOA muses? Besides Marth and Rafal I've also written Xane. Though there isn't a lot of data, my second muse slot historically (and presently) being reserved for dragons tickles me a lot.

Do you think you have a type of character you gravitate towards? Not really. My tastes are unexplainably versatile. I can favor the sweet and friendly golden boy type characters, or the less pristine and morally ambiguous "bad boy" types, and everything in-between. This isn't just true for TOA but also for characters from different series. My friends have a lot of trouble forecasting possible favorites for me because of it.

What do you believe you enjoy writing the most? Emotions. Conflict with those emotions. Mwahahahaha

Favorite TOA-related memory: The first few months into my TOA debut when everything was bright, fresh, and new. Meeting new friends and forging bonds with other characters was super fun and I still remember who was around me during that time. Farina (written by Maxie) is the closest muse to Marth in terms of when they joined TOA and who has stayed to this day.

Got any delusions that didn’t see the light of day in TOA that you’d like to share? I tend to be very stable, loyal, and proactive in my delusions. If they're strong enough I pursue them, like Xane and Rafal. Rath would be among them if I ever replayed FE7 and if I determined having three muses wouldn't make my performance suffer over all.

5. A little thing you do that you wonder if anyone’s noticed?

Umm...good question. I've written Indy for so long and there's a lot of small things that are second nature that I don't even think about in terms of 'I wonder if anyone noticed'.

If anything, I'd say probably the in-depth thought that's been put into his headcanons for his modern adaptation. Personality wise, he's a little less jaded than his adult self, so those are small details in his speech. Aesthetically, I've spent a lot of time building up his likes, attire, color schemes, etc. over the years. I don't know if anyone appreciates that.

10. Something that bothers you to read in RP specifically?

I do not like plots with babies at all or gushy 'Oh my God my life is so perfect' types of RPs. Give me real plots. Not short truncated one sentences where nothing happens and I have to do all the work. Those frustrate me.

Also terrible grammar. Reasonable allowances are made if English isn't a first language because that's common sense, but if you didn't even bother to use autocorrect or spellchecker then wtf, man? And people who use emojis or textspeak in their writing unless it's called for as an actual message.

13. Some subjects that are often written with inaccuracies that bother you (how to preform CPR, how to shoot a bow, survival strategies, etc)?

Ironically, I do know archery, so I could be annoyed by those inaccuracies...but anything archaeology or history related for obvious reasons. You WILL hear Indy or myself correcting it one way or another.

Also Indy's character himself. Indy 5 is coming out this summer. I've been watching the movies/TV show for over 30 years (dating myself, I know), I will have been writing Young Indy for 10 years (we'll round up as it's applicable when May comes around), and I deep dive into anything I have a vested interest in. I know his backstory, career, and the disciplinary/historical context of his career and life like the back of my hand.

*sarcastic* Please challenge me on his background...and I look forward to hearing 'Indiana Jones but instead he returns things to their source cultures' - it's such a new idea. *end sarcasm*
