Etihad Airways has announced a fourth daily flight on its route from Abu Dhabi to Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), effective 8 December. The additional service of Etihad between Abu Dhabi to Riyadh will be operated by an Airbus A320 configured with 8 seats in Business and 150 seats in the Economy. Robin Kamark, CCO, Etihad Aviation Group, said, “The introduction of the new fourth daily service to Riyadh is demonstrative of our commitment to the Saudi market, and of the increase in demand on this core route. This has been boosted by a warm relationship enjoyed by the UAE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and by the recent easing of entry visa regulations for tourists entering the Kingdom.” “Riyadh is a key market on our global network, and the additional service adds yet more attractive timings to both business and leisure travelers flying between both capitals, as well as more options for travelers connecting through Abu Dhabi onto Etihad’s global network. As Etihad and Saudia continue to strengthen their partnership, the new flight will also provide convenient travel options to our customers, allowing increased codeshare connectivity on joint services.” Etihad’s narrow-body Airbus A320 family fleet features refreshed cabins, including comfortable recliner seats in Business, while Economy boasts new ergonomic seating, USB charging points, and personal device holders at every seat enabling guests to download its E-BOX Stream wireless entertainment service, with more than 300 hours of movies, TV programming, music, and more, available to stream directly to their own device.  Etihad Airways has a codeshare agreement in place with Saudia. The two airlines place their flight codes on each other’s services between Abu Dhabi and the Saudi Arabian cities of Dammam, Jeddah, Riyadh, and Medina. Etihad also places its ‘EY’ code on Saudia flights to Peshawar, Multan, Port Sudan and Vienna, while Saudia also places its ‘SV’ code to Etihad flights between Abu Dhabi and Ahmedabad, Belgrade, Brisbane, Chengdu, Chicago, Dusseldorf, Lagos, Melbourne, Moscow-Domodedovo, Rabat, Seychelles, and Sydney. Subject to regulatory approvals, Saudia will progressively add its code to Etihad flights between Abu Dhabi and 11 more destinations in nine countries including Amsterdam, Baku, Brussels, Dublin, Hong Kong, Kathmandu, Bangkok, Phuket, Nagoya, Tokyo, and Seoul. Beauty Icon Bobbi Brown Handpicks Tamannaah Bhatia & Malaika Arora As Her Muses
Tumblr media
As a homage to the constantly evolving hair, makeup & skin care industry, April 2019 will witness the debut of India Make Up Show, curated by Brothers Incorporated founded by Rahul Tuljapurkar and Ninad Shah.
In an exciting new development, serial entrepreneur and ground-breaking international beauty icon, Bobbi Brown who will embarking on her first ever India tour to headline the IMS Masterclass has cherry-picked the very suave actress Tamannaah Bhatia to play the role of her muse in Mumbai on 13th April and the uber cool diva, Malaika Arora to play the role of her muse in New Delhi on 20th April. With 3 specific looks curated for her masterclass – bridal, evening and editorial, the session will be moderated by celebrity hair stylist Adhuna Bhabhani
Being one of the world’s most established, American professional makeup artist and former founder of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Bobbi created a legacy for herself with timeless products that suited a wide variety of skin tones as well as products that were made to look more like real beauty and less like actual makeup. The iconic makeup artist, author, former editor and brand founder launched her brand at Bergdorf Goodman in 1991 and later sold it to Estee Lauder in 1995. She has authored 9 books about makeup and beauty that made it to the New York Times Bestseller List apart from working her magic at international fashion weeks for over 3 decades. Considered as one of the top 10 makeup artists and beauty experts in the world, she has worked with personalities like Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Katie Holmes, Jessica Alba, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell. She turned a successful job as a make-up artist into a smash hit, multimillion dollar global business, selling award-winning cosmetics in more than 50 countries.
Bobbi Brown states, “I have always considered Indians to be naturally beautiful.  I was very particular on the person who would play my muse since this is my very first masterclass in India. I wanted someone who could seamlessly bring to life the diverse looks I would be showcasing without comprising on her own individuality. Tamannaah happened to be the ideal choice for Mumbai -she is natural, beautiful and confident and represents the committed spirit of the city that never sleeps. Malaika on the other hand is fashionista who is uncompromising when it comes to her style and beauty which somewhere represents the glitzy hustle and bustle of India’s capital. I’m certain they both will do full justice to what I wish to present to the Indian audiences.”
Tamannaah Bhatia adds on, “Bobbi Brown is a timeless icon and a role model to many young women like me. This is such an honour. Infact I have excused myself from my film commitments in Baku to make this a reality. I will be spending close to 48 hours on flight to spend those 5 hours with Bobbi so you can well imagine my excitement level.”
Malaika Arora elaborates, “There are a lot of make-up artists I've associated with but working with someone as iconic as Bobbi is such an honour especially when it has always been one of the things I wanted to do in my bucket list. I'm very excited to see how she displays her signature no make-up look on me.”
Hosted in Mumbai on the 12th & 13th of April 2019 at Dome and in New Delhi on the 20th of April 2019 at Hotel Pullman, India Make Up Show will cover make-up, hair styling, body & skin care. From live demonstrations, celebrity workshops, brand focus tutorials, shopping booths to ramp showcases, masterclasses, networking seminars, talent hunt and after parties. Catering to an age group of 15 - 60 years, the event will also touch upon men’s grooming and natural/organic cosmetics. One can expect names like Namrata Soni, Pearl Academy, Christine Valmy Academy, Cory Walia, Bianca Louzado, Mariana Mukuchyan, Mehera Kolah, Vipul Bhagat, Clint Fernandes and Savio John Pereira. The advisory panel consists of Namrata Soni, Savio John Pereira, Shonali Nagrani, Alok Kamat, Parthip Thyagarajan, Aditya Motwane, Nalini Kalra, Manasi Scott, Antonio Maurizio Grioli,  Sohaya Misra, Claire Marrinan, Karishma Kohli, Cory Wallia, Marianna Mukuchyan, Natasha Nischol and Shamita Singha.
