Don’t get me wrong, I LOVED Junho’s analogy of loving Youngwoo being like loving a cat… but did anyone else feel like it was really…random? (Note: I did hear about KTO’s audition and him saying their love reminded him of a cat. If that’s why they put that line in there, that’s super awesome—though still random lol).

Like, I kind of wish it had been a whale or sea animal analogy, like a testament to how much he’s learned from her or related to the whale theme of the show or something. I’ll even take a general sea reference!

What if it was something like…

Junho: “Loving you is like the shore loving the sea. The sea always ebbs and flows to its own rhythm while the shore stays in its place, unable to get any closer or further than what the sea determines. Even if the shore wants to be closer, it must always wait for the sea to draw closer on its own.”

Youngwoo: “But the shore supports the sea. Without the strength of the steady shore, the sea would constantly be moving and tumultuous. It would have no resting place. It’s because of the shore that the sea knows calm and peace. To me, you are my shore.”

DON’T MIND ME, JUST WRITING SOME LINES FOR OUR WHALE COUPLE TO SAY TO EACH OTHER IN EAW S2 WHILE STANDING BY A SHORE.

I wanna go on the eaw tag soooo bad, but my friend and I aren't caught up yet! 😭 I think we just watched episode 15? The one where little brother shows up at the very end.

But anyway uhhhhhh we yelled SO much at Attorney Jang and also that dumbass CEO for being losers!!! Literally how has Jang even kept his job this long? He is so bad at it. Also Min-Woo is still trash, can't believe Attorney Choi is forgetting that just because he's been acting halfway decent lately.

My friend was getting very frustrated with Young-Woo for not telling Jun-ho why she thought they wouldn't work, and even argued that it was out of character for her, given that she's usually so straightforward. But I pointed out that she did the same thing when she tried to quit, and both times it's because she had been made to feel inadequate due to her autism. They were arguing that there wasn't a reason for her not to voice her feelings, (beyond prolonging the drama for the show's sake) but I think the simple fact that it upsets her to talk about it is enough!

I don't think there are many topics that cause her to become so emotional so quickly, and so it makes sense that she would give in to her instincts to avoid them when it does happen. She's overwhelmed and it feels bad, and she also has already come to an (incorrect) conclusion that talking it out wouldn't make a difference. Plus, she's relatively new to these kinds of interpersonal relationships in general!
