Silver/Archer is so good to ponder on... I love how you can consider how their relationship could develop...

Archer I'd consider is with Giovanni for a long time, and could see Silver grow up and develop and he as well has a certain way of perceiving him, as the heir and in a way extension of Giovanni himself. Like, he'd see Silver as own person but with a certain role to fill in and it would be Archer's role as well to do what he can to help Silver do this. And Silver as well has Archer as a constant in his life - Archer is very, very reliable and Silver maybe even at times could take him for granted, at least until his divorce with dad disillusionement. I wouldn't say that Archer has a paternal relationship with Silver at all, I'd also say that Silver sees him as extension of Giovanni as well, so I'd say it goes both ways...

I like to think that the reason why Silver survived on his own for so long was due to Archer's teachings, I assume that Archer taught him also plenty of, let's say, unusual skills for a kid his age and more usual for mobster so I'd say that Silver is a tiny, tiny bit grateful for him for all that, even if Silver does perceive Archer as, ultimately, weak (which Archer doesn't deny at all).

And as for more shippy stuff... I enjoy the thought that Silver could abuse his power over Archer a bit to get to test some stuff. At the same time Archer would absolutely enjoy to please him, of course I wouldn't say he indulges Silver in everything but if he sees it as beneficial... Plus let's not assume that Archer wouldn't be a tad selfish to get a bit of a taste for himself given a chance.

Point is I really can imagine Archer coming over to Silver's bedroom upon his request :3c like, no romo and stuff but they both plenty out of this.

(Silver also gets thrill from putting Archer on the line, since I'd imagine Archer is risking quite a bit by getting a piece of, you know, Heir of Team Rocket. I don't think Giovanni would be very pleased by knowing what Archer does to Silver, but Archer was told to do best he can to bring Silver up best he can and well)

After the divorce... It would turn a bit complicated. I like the thought that Silver can just come in to TR whenever and gather himself up a little (I like to think it's his point of pride to not use TR resources though) and Archer would ask over and over for him to return, would beg like a starved dog he is :) and Silver is a bit cruel about denying him and yet coming around :) dangling a treat in front of his nose just by being here. I wondered if Silver would use him in any way but I don't think so... Kicks out of seeing his teacher on his knees suffices.

Hi!! Nice to see you in my inbox ☺️ ☔ Is there a fic concept you have that you'd like to just explain and share because you're not sure you'll ever write it? If so, what is it? SUPERHERO AUs!!! Honestly the idea of Superhero AUs probably appeal to me because it's a logical jumping point for Sports RPF in general; like athletes are always described as superhuman so why not imagine them having actual superpowers?? I feel like there's so much potential with regard to coming up with superpowers different people would have (is it personality based, or maybe the complete opposite? Much to consider). Also there’s the whole double lives thing that one can incorporate into their story: like it’s a little cliche to have someone be in love with someone else and their alter ego and keep thinking they are two different people. However it does make for some decent dramatic irony and good emotional twists I think. Especially if it's a hero/villain type deal hmm... like if it’s executed well I will be nodding in approval while reading 🫡 however all of this kind of requires a decent amount of planning and worldbuilding and at this point I am not wired to worldbuild so 😭 maybe I’ll write a short story involving superheroes someday.

Right so I don't usually interact with people but like that Pathetic Scara thing ☔ anon sent has wormed its way into my brain very violently and I just wanted to add to the fluffy part with what little brain matter I have left since I can't write smut for shit lmao- You know how Build-a-Bear has those heart things that are meant to go in the bear and like they feel like a heartbeat when you squeeze it?

Convince me he wouldn't eventually end up buying (or stealing) one of those to like place in his pillowcase (or maybe he even cuts a hole in his pillow so that way he can't actually feel the device as much when he squeezes it- It """Adds to the immersion""" in his head) so he can actually feel a heartbeat because just simulating hearing your heartbeat solely through sound probably won't be enough to satisfy him as time goes on- Like he just puts it in and like every so often he'll squeeze the pillow and just feel it beating under his ear so he can pretend he's snuggled right up against your chest as he rests-
