Now that I have a bit more time I'd like to say a few things about that P&P yesterday. Basically I took one already existing p&p (about the King in Yellow, one story very much influenced by Lovecrafts stuff), and reorganized it to be playable in the Dragon Age setting. Leading to.... happenings. And I want to mention that all my players have played quite a lot of times now but still manage to fuck things up and come out of the whole ordeal without a scratch somehow..

They have to infiltrate a castle. Imagine the setting a bit like with the Thalmor party. You give the stuff you want to use inside the castle to someone who can smuggle it inside and then go and collect it once you are inside. .....................................Except my people give all their things to the guy. And then ignore and/or bully him for the whole ride to the castle without asking a single thing about where their stuff might be. (Did they ever find their stuff? .....Nope.) 2. One of my players chose to play a Qunari. He infiltrated the castle posing as a sous-chef. Huge hands, likes to bash people's heads in with a shield, has never worked in any kitchen before - rolls 2 critical success in a row and becomes the star of the evening by peeling huge piles of both potatoes and onions at the same time in under one minute with godly precision. 3. Archer-rogue somehow managed to steal a staff from the wall while more than 10 people were in the room and somehow made them believe it is completely natural for staffs to fly through the air sometimes and then vanish. 4. Dalish mage accompanies a sick guest to a guestroom. Everyone expects her to heal him because that's what she's good at. Rolls a critical failure in Empathy and instead suffocates him with a pillow. I have absolutely no idea how they all made it out alive and with the good ending but I do love them very much.
