my fixation lost steam for a minute but its back because did you know that its impossible to cry through all of sabm. you can start out crying but you wont be by the end. ricky potts wont let you. especially if you watch alex knudsen playing ricky. the cosmic gun comes in and the sobbing stops

i love how the choir does the countdown in tsp like oh my god dude

Okay

Karnak didn't have an actor. There was a box with like a statue hunched over a crystal ball type deal and the voice was just omniscent basically. There was a handshape and during character introductions all the characters pressed their hand on it

Jane Doe entered through the pathway through the audeince audience (it was a pretty small theatre, like only 8-ish rows?)

so like during WTWN Ocean had this small moment with Mischa where he was on his phone hanging on one of the rollercoaster rails and she was trying to get him to join the others during the song

All the choir members were dressed up in trench coats and hat for Noel's Lament (later reused costumes in TBOJD)

They used the Jesus Christ on a bike line instead of the dead balls of liberace one which was neat!!

After Noel's lament when Ocean dissed him threatened to stab her with his heels

Mischa was awesome in both his songs I loved him so much his actor was great. Talia had all the actors minus Mischa wear skirts and that was fun. They had traditional instruments there too I think

SABM was AMAZING. They changed the sexy cat women to sexy cat people and mostly removed the bit rendering them all as females because Mischa, Noel and Ocean played the sexy cat aliens whilst Constance and Jane played the people that brought him over. They really said bisexual rights with Ricky like he was straight up just having a (NON EXPLICIT) alien cat orgy

Speaking of which Ricky's actor was so cute I loved him so much

Constance and Misha bromance was great I loved that for them

The Ballad of Jane Doe? Haunting. Starts off with the black hats and trenchcoats, plus torn umbrellas with lights on them. It then transitioned into like full-ass mirrors and she was trying to avoid her reflection but she couldn't and oughh it was so good

TNBS was also so good they used the longer version like it was originally and she blew out a candle on the cupcake and everything

during Noel and Mischa's moment Noel kept making faces after drinking it was great and then he tried to chug the alcohol after admitting he'd never been drunk before it was great

Ocean literally began to cry during her before the 'i thought my life had meaning' bit but she really quickly wiped them awa like she was scared

COnstance's actor? Wonderful. loived her so much she was so amazing I could sing her praises all day her acting was superb. Almost cried during Sugar Cloud and the monologue

speaking of sugar cloud they looked like they were making it up the spot rather than choroegrahed by karnak It was so cute they were having so much fun :((

also dring the recorded part they were hyping her TF UP!! Like they had little adlibs for her and everything even though it was so out of tune and they had to cover their ears a little

During the part where Karnak decided Ocean got the final vote they gave some of her lines to the other choir members which was actually really cute like Constance had 'what happens in five minutes' line and Noel had the 'can you step off' line.

REALLY INTERESTING THING: JANE DOE WAS NOT REVEALED AS PENNY LAMB!!! They literally cut out the scene and it was sort of impactful in a way because they'll never know who she was or who she'd become and they were fine with that

INAG/IJAR (abbreviating for convenience) they looked like they were really bonding I was gonna die

AND AND AT THE END AFTER THE BOWS THEY PERFORMED BE SAFE BE GOOD AND IT WAS SO GOOD RAHHHH

this scene in sacred heart makes me teary-eyed too: the choir standing tall with smiles on their faces during the countdown just to immediately hold onto each other as soon as karnak starts breaking down like i'm done
