Explain your choices Personally I'd go:2000's - the early 2000's is the peak for music imo, when 50 Cent & Eminem were on top of the rap game, and R&B & pop were at their catchiest90's - very great decade for music, rap started taking off around then, with some GOAT's like Pac, Big, and Nas. R&B was starting to pop off around this time too with artists like Lauryn Hill & Mary J. Blige2010's - early 2010's was pretty solid for the mainstream, with pop-rap & white girl music starting to blow up heavily, the mid 2010's was kinda shit with trap & mumble rap starting to take off, but the end of the decade was pretty solid with mumble rap fading out and the modern SoundCloud style of rap starting to come in2020's - this decade started off pretty weak with boring auto-tuned artists & shitty TikTok music being all over the mainstream, but this past year has been the best year for music within the past 10 years1980's - rap was still in its infancy at this point, but there were still solid rap acts in this time such as The Beastie Boys, N.W.A, and LL Cool J. I watched the Kevin hart docu-series on Netflix in2020 and saw how he and his friends had a Versace shirt night…I told my friends we gonna have a night like that someday lmao…..so when you laugh and say you have friends, they didn’t make you feel beautiful or tell you to get a 9-5?
