I dunno if you talked about this yet, but very few ppl are talking about s5 since the dub hasn't come out yet so I'll just put a thought I had here (and again, if you've already talked about this, sorry!!)
This isn't really a theory, bc the "evidence" is flimsy, more like a gut feeling, but like:
You know how 9 (I think that's his name) asked Macaque "who did you make a deal with to get these powers?" and Macaque seemed genuinely confused?
I think Wukong might have been the one who made some sort of deal.
Again, this is mostly speculation, I'll honestly have to rewatch the LBD storyline just to ensure that it doesn't contradict this, but idk, for me this would explain certain things fans were pointing out before- I'll just get to the point tbh:
1) It would explain Wukong's lack of confusion at Macaque's first appearance.
Macaque died, plain and simple, and as far as we're aware, this was the first time they had seen eachother. Wukong is definitely not happy to see him, but he certainly doesn't look confused. He never questioned it, actually.
I don't remember if he was surprised with him working with LBD, but I do remember that despite everything, he still affirmed to MK that Liu Er was not a bad guy. And coming from Wukong, especially at that point in the series, that's not something small.
2) Wukong clearly regrets Macaque's murder.
It's difficult to tell what happened when Macaque died, since we only have some vague screenshots and (now) a small audio that might have or might have not have actually happened (since Wukong's memory might have been very biased). But what matters is that we now know with 100% certainty that the murder HAPPENED. It wasn't mind control (or at least doesn't seem like it), it wasn't an illusion by a third party that tricked Macaque, and Wukong certainly KNEW that Macaque was dead.
This is important bc the main conclusion lots of fans got from the whole "Wukong didn't seem confused about Macaque being alive" thing was those theories. Which now seem pretty much impossible.
For a character to do something in a story, 2 things need to be true: they need to have a reason AND they need to actually be able to do it.
Considering desire alone, it seems like a Wukong thing to do. He clearly didn't wanna have anything to do with Macaque (seeming at least annoyed and at worst angry with his presence at the beginningof the story), but he also just didn't want him dead. It wouldn't be out of character for him to revive Macaque if given the chance, but also simply not look for him.
If he can do it? I don't know. He has alot of artifacts, and he's known for breaking rules to get his way, both in JTTW and in lmk. Whatever it was, it probably had to do with chaos magic, but (although not the the lmk's team fault, it's clear that this was mostly bc of complications in production) the season's plot was kinda rushed, they had litte time to tell their story, so I can't be sure.
3) Wukong's conversation with Macaque at the start of the season.
Okay, so this is the main one (bc it can make or break my entire point, which I'll explain real soon), since this WHOLE season had alot of references to past events AND alot of the first episodes' scenes were brought back in some way by the end.
And their conversation felt a little... idk, out of place. Kinda Chekhov's Gun-y.
Bc this wasn't a season focused on how their old enemies came back. Heck, it wasn't focused on Wukong at all! Sure, the poor guy was the season's punching bag (or in this case, more like a squishy stress toy lmao), but the vast majority of his scenes were focused on his bond with MK (be it with the fact both of them came from the same stone, or just his general love and care for the kid, to the point where he was willing to die in his place if it meant keping MK and the world safe.)- and those that weren't were glimpses with Macaque.
Okay, so why can it make or break my point? Because it's gonna entirely depend on weather or not Wukong is being honest in that conversation.
Now, Wukong is a big, fat liar. We all know this. The Samhadi Fire thing happened ENTIRELY bc of his lies. This man is not honest, and he loooves passing the blame to someone else when he can, especially to Macaque.
And I think he's lying in that conversation. I genuinely think he's lying. Why? Because he said he didn't know what MK was before he chose him as his sucessor.
And, okay, he might not have known the full story, but that man knew SOMETHING. We see in flashbacks that he had been observing MK far before he found the staff. He might not have known that MK came from the same stone as him, but c'mon. He is not that stupid. Also, the body language might be a bit harder to read bc of the budget cuts, but he did not seem honest at all. His first instinct as he said it was to avert his eyes and then TURN THE OTHER WAY, angry.
"Okay, anon, but your whole argument was about Macaque's revival, not MK's birth-" I'm getting to it.
What I'm trying to say is that we should take Wukong's words here with a massive grain of salt. Him and Macaque seem to be working together to discover more about MK, but that does not mean that Wukong is gonna be 100% honest with him.
Which comes the juicy part of this conversation: when the topic switches to Wukong's old friends with grudges returning. More specifically, Macaque mentions Azure Lion.
M: We still don't know who released Azure Lion. All of your old friends are back at once. You don't-
W: What about you?! You came back all of a sudden too!
Wukong's body language was really weird here. Like he was angry that Macaque was questioning things. Maybe it's just him being nervous about it too and letting his fear show off as anger, but it's still weird. This could be him just immediately throwing this at Macaque, because it's easier, with something along the lines of "What about you huh?? You came back too!" as a response for having his methods questioned, but again, it feels really weird.
Especially since this is not the thing you do when you're willing to be honest. Even when you're not willing to be criticized.
This might be a language barrier thing, since the subs I watched with weren't the best, but it was unclear to me wether Wukong was trying to lump Macaque together with everyone else that returned OR wether he was trying to differentiate him from the rest. With the eng dub it'll probably be clearer, but I genuinely couldn't be sure wether this was a "You came back too, just like the rest of them." or a "It wasn't JUST them, you came back too" meaning. This could also be attributed to him possibly being the only one who might have actually died before his return, instead of just "imprisoned", but idk.
And then Wukong looks down, with this weird conflicted look, until he mentions that someone might be manipulating MK, which makes him blink up and immediately pin it all on Macaque again, despite him definitely knowing by this point that Macaque would not do this.
As if he felt like it was a personal attack over something he did.
Which makes me feel like he was involved in some way with at least SOME of these returns, and not just in a "the ppl I messed with came back with a grudge" way. Since the topic of a deal was specifically mentioned by this season's villain, (which Macaque, again, didn't really seem to know about) it might have been that.
4) Lady Bone Demon.
So, I'm really gonna have to rewatch her entire story to be sure about the details, but this woman is the definition of opportunistic. She knows quite alot about destiny, and at some points, even the future.
She was sealed and became a whole lot stronger, sure, but the power to bring others back from the dead? Lmk is not very accurate to JTTW, but she was legit just a skeleton demon with the power of illusion from what I've managed to find. Heck, before she tricked MK into releasing more of her power, she was pretty much stuck with the Spider Queen.
And this was AFTER she supposedly brought Macaque back from the dead.
This woman is powerful, but not THAT powerful. Not at that point! Wukong supposedly defeated her with ease before according to the show, and even he had troubles with the underworld. Also, out of all of Wukong's past foes, it feels weird that she'd willingly choose Macaque to be the one to be revived- the guy with a conflicted past with Wukong that, considering everyone else he's faced, is pretty avarage in terms of power. Also, again, this man has a huge grudge, but he also has a really big past with Wukong. Even IF she could just bring someone back from the dead like this, she'd be smart enough not to choose Macaque. The risk of disobedience was far too great (since he's pretty smart + would likely not want to put up with her bs for long) and his strength is simply not great enough to justify that decision. She had to constantly check on him, threaten him, and even THEN he still found a way out of it.
Sure, maybe Wukong could go easier on him compared to other foes, but that's still not a good bet. Wukong killed him, after all, likely bc he was a danger to his JTTW friends based on previous scenes- so who's to say he wouldn't do it again?
So all of this: the flawed logic of choosing to revive macaque; the likelihood of her being able to just bring someone back from the dead WHILE weakened; the fact that she clearly didn't trust Macaque like she did the totally not a mayor guy; how her biggest strategy has always been to wait for an opportunity instead of doing the work herself... It makes me question wether she brought Macaque back at all.
Because maybe she just saw an opportunity and took it, maybe she just tricked him into thinking that she was behind his revival- as to make him obey at least somewhat- so she could lock him in a deal. Maybe it wasn't Wukong, maybe it was someone else, but the fact that the chaos magic thing along with the word "deal" wasn't immediately attributed with LBD (the only one we know to have made a deal with Macaque at some point till now) was just really weird to me.
Anyway, wow this was long! Sorry about that! Again, I don't truly believe this is the show's intention, I might just be overthinking/misinterpreting things, but idk. I thought it was at least an interesting enough hypothesis to bring it up fhdhdhhdhd
gawddam anon 👀 that’s quite a theory
also here’s a link of what Nines said to Macky (also there seems to be a new ship between the two and i, for one, suggest that their ship name should be called SixNine :D )
idk i agree with Wukong being the one who struck the deal but you do bring up a lot of hood points 👀✍️ Wukong lying about only having a “feeling” when he met MK (even i could smell the bs), Wukong’s “and what about you!” being more of a misdirect from what Macky wanted to talk about -> like these things i def thought were fishy but you bring up a new perspective 🧐
time will only tell!

Stalwart Snippet- Raison d'etre
(I do not own Journey to the West, or the dialogue taken from below)
Ma’s eyes widened, a rare look of shock on her face. Liu’er heard Beng exclaim and Ba gasp before he followed Ma’s eyes.
The Monkey King slumped forward over the banquet table with a despondent expression, tears trickling down his face.
Alarmed, the monkeys surrounding him bowed down and asked, "What is disturbing the Great King?"
He noticed their distress and wiped his tears away, trying to hide his own sadness. “Don’t worry my children, it is all right! I am very happy, I am just… just thinking about the future-”
But even as he said this, his voice cracked on the last word and more tears spilled out. “All right, back up you lot!” Beng barked, standing up. “Make way!”
“Come, my king,” Ba murmured gently, leading him away while Beng followed behind and made sure the servants and guests remained where they were.
The monkeys murmured amongst themselves, some chuckling quietly. "The Great King indeed does not know contentment. Here we daily have a banquet on an immortal mountain in a blessed land, in an ancient cave on a divine continent. We are not subject to the unicorn or the phoenix, nor are we governed by the rulers of mankind. Such independence and comfort are immeasurable blessings. Why, then, does he worry about the future?"
Liu’er snarled at them, furious. “Shut your damn mouths at once, you-”
“Enough..” Ma’s voice cut through the crowd’s murmurs while gripping Liu’er’s shoulder to stop his tirade. “You would not make light of your friends’ or family’s worries, so do not make light of our king’s. For he worries for us all and does the best he can to make each day a blessing. The best thing you can do for our king now is to continue on as you always have.”
This calmed the crowd and Ma pulled Liu’er with her as they began to disperse, hand never leaving his shoulder. It was only after they were out of sight that she let go and the two started running.
When the two came to the royal bedroom, the king was still weeping in Ba’s embrace as she gently chirped to comfort him. Beng’s arms were wrapped around both as he wept alongside the king, unable to bear seeing his distress.
Ma knelt before him, gently taking his hands in her own. Liu’er wanted to move in closer, but he felt frozen in place. The other three were all over him, there was no room for him to join.
Resentment clouded his gaze.
“My beloved, beautiful king,” Ma murmured, raining kisses over his hands. “Please tell us what troubles you so we may share in your burdens and bring comfort to your heart.”
“… I’m afraid… of dying. Not just me, but all of you.”
His voice, so small and scared, broke Liu’er’s heart. And from the expressions of the generals, their hearts broke along with his.
“We will all die eventually and leave nothing but our memory behind. And then even that will fade. Even though we all live in paradise now, it might not stay that way forever. The thought of us living in vain, forgotten by all… it’s too much to bear!”
Ba’s own tears fell as she held the sobbing king to her tightly. Beng was bawling by now and even Ma could not hold her own tears back as she buried her face into his hands. Liu’er couldn’t bear this scene, eyes burning as tears slid down his face.
This was so wrong. His king was proud, bright, carefree and filled with life and energy. To see him so despondent and saddened was like the very balance of nature had been irrevocably broken.
He hated this. Hated he could not get closer, could not offer his own comfort. Because what could he say to ease the fear of death and being forgotten?
Then like a lightning bolt, he was stricken with an idea. “There might be a way,” he found himself saying, “that we don’t have to.”
This made all four freeze and turn to him. Ma, Ba and Beng in confusion… and Monkey King with hope. “Explain,” he ordered, voice hoarse.
Liu’er swallowed, throat dry, and explained, “There are three groups I know about that have found ways of achieving immortality: The Buddhas, the Immortals and the Holy Sages.”
The white-furred macaque found himself on his back as the Monkey King flew onto his chest. “Where are they?!” he cried out, urgent.
“A-across the mountains and seas, on the continent known as China.”
Liu’er found himself being hugged tightly before kisses were rained down on every part of his face. “Liu my starlight, you have saved me!” he crooned with tears of relief and joy.
The white-furred macaque stared ahead stunned, face beet red from the affection. The Monkey King held him so preciously as he turned to the other three.
“Even if I have to wander the four corners of this world and all of it’s planes, I will find these people and learn how to escape the calamity inflicted by King Yama! We will all live together, free from death!”
Beng and Ba cheered in delight and Ma smiled with relief, her eyes meeting Liu’er’s. “Thank you,” she mouthed, fondness in her eyes.
He nodded, smile beginning to worm it’s way back on his mouth as he curled into the Monkey King’s embrace. To live forever by such a bright and beautiful being was not something he expected… but he could not find a single thing wrong with such a fate.

Happy Birthday Winter!
Hey @winterpower98 it's your birthday! I really hope you enjoy this, I know I had a ton of fun writing it for you! Actor AU is one of my favorite AUs you've made and coming back to play around with it again was a blast and a half!
Painter MK cackled, taking the brushes filled with bright pink paint into his fists.
“Yes, yes!” He exclaimed, brushing them against his cheeks and bringing another to run up the center of his face. “The art is-OW! OW, THE ART IS IN MY EYE!”
“Cut!” The director yelled, bringing the entire film production to a halt in an instant. “Xiaotian, what happened?”
The young actor dropped the paintbrushes into the hands of a stage worker to rushed over to help him, one hand covering his right eye as he tried to keep himself from laughing. “I think some of it splashed when I waved the brush at my face. I guess the art really IS-”
“Don’t say it,” Heshang said from the other side of the set, doing his best not to join his co-star in laughter.
“-seeping into my pores!”
The entire cast and crew groaned as Xiaotian cackled again, with a few added ows, before another stage hand came by with a bottle of water.
~3…2…1~
“Uh…” Xiaojiao pulled, attempting to pull the prop sword from above her head out of the wall only to be met with… a lot more resistance than should probably be there. “UH…? It’s stuck?”
She stood, attempting to pull it out normally only to be met with just as much resistance.
“It’s stuck!” She laughed, out, bracing a foot on the wall with no change.
“Let me try,” General Ironclad, or rather Red in the costume of General Ironclad for the episode, offered, attempting to do the same with the exact same result as his co-star. “What did you use to hold this in place? Cement!?”
“It should have only been stuck in with force!” A stage hand yelled as Xiaotian and Heshang joined in, both failing to pull the sword out from the false wall and Heshang nearly toppling over backwards with his additional costume pieces.
“Whoever stuck that in there needs to be moved to making sure the safety equipment stays connected!” Xiaotian offered, watching as even more people tried to remove the sword. “That is not coming out.”
~3…2…1~
Heshang held Mo in his arms, waltzing around the set as he waited for places to be called for with the shockingly content feline in his arms.
~3…2…1~
“You are selling beautiful vegetables today?” Pigsy said, leaning over the the display to give an awkward smile to the disguised Spider Queen.
Tang looked over the produce from where he knelt, looking back up at his companion with a concerned and confused look. “Are you… a-are-PFT-FUCK.”
Everyone on set burst into laughter as Tang did, both of his fellow actors holding back from laughing themselves.
“Why is it this line!?” Tang yelled in frustration as he continued laughing. “It’s not a hard line! I wrote this line! Why do I keep laughing at the last word!?”
“Maybe if Ganglie wasn’t making goo-goo eyes at me you’d keep straight face,” Zhi-Zhu Jing managed to get out through her laughter.
“That’d be the only thing straight about me.”
~3…2…1~
Dicky Cheung, or the actual Sun Wukong disguised as a human actor in full costume of himself, took a running leap and jumped onto the counter of Pigsy’s noodles, sliding to a perfect stop with a wink toward the camera.
~3…2…1~
“MK, there’s something I wanted to tell you…” Mei said, looking at MK with sparkles in her eyes before snickering. “Stop looking at me like that, it’s hard enough to keep a straight face during this scene!”
“Sorry!” Xiaotian yelled to the camera. “I can’t help it! How are Jin and Yin this wrong about these two in the show?”
“Himbos!” was the shouted answer from Tang at the other end of the set.
~3…2…1~
“One of the rare talents that no one knew the great Sun Wukong possessed…” Xiaojiao said ominously, camera panning over to Mr. Cheung in full costume. “Surprisingly good peach juggling!”
“Gotta keep myself occupied somehow!” The actor laughed out, catching two peaches in either hand while the last one was caught perfectly in his mouth to the applause of everyone watching.
~3…2…1~
“Thanks for the Key los-AH!”
Red flung his arms wildly, key flying into the air as Tie Shan rushed forward and caught him just before he face planted into the ground.
“Mine!” Mr. Cheung yelled as he caught the key mid air and rushed through the frame.
“YOU’RE NOT EVEN IN THIS EPISODE!”
~3…2…1~
“Thank you… for giving me all o-ooh, whoa!” Lui Er Mihou, or unbeknownst to nearly all Six-Eared Macaque in disguise much the same way as Sun Wukong was, yelped as the cable that was supposed to gently raise him and make him look like he was floating yoinked him as good 4 feet off the ground way too fast. “That’s too much power!”
“SORRY!” The line operator shouted, fiddling with the controls. “Someone loaded the weight setting for Xiaotian into your line instead of yours.”
“I already feel bad enough treating him like garbage and beating him up in this role, this is just rubbing salt in the wound,” Liu Er muttered, leaning back and swinging limply much to the amusement of everyone who couldn’t hear him before raising his voice. “When will my beloved friend Sun Wukong come to rescue me?”
“SPEAK MY NAME AND I SHALL APPEAR!”
Liu Er yelped in surprise as Mr. Cheung rushed in and grabbed him from beneath to hold him bridal style with a shit eating grin. He couldn't help the flush on his cheeks in response.
“HOW DO YOU KEEP SHOWING UP IN SHOTS WHEN YOU AREN’T SUPPOSED TO BE THERE YET!?” The director yelled with more than a little amusement in his voice despite the disruption.
~3…2…1~
“You!” DBK said, rounding on Red Son. “You have brought me nothing but failure! Time and time again! I keep telling you I… shit, I can’t remember the next line when you look that sad, I am so sorry.”
“Nothing but disappointment?” Red offered helpfully, immediately breaking out of his downcast somber gaze to the floor with a wide smile.
“It is scary how fast you get in and out of character sometimes, kid,” Niu Mowang laughed out, clearly resisting the urge to ruffle the younger actor’s hair lest he ruin the styling job that took far too long every time they got dressed.
~3…2…1~
The White Bone Spirit stood at the entrance to the Silken Web Cave, looking at the camera before far too much time passed from when she was supposed to say he line. She moon walked backwards out of the frame without changing her expression one bit as the other actors devolved into cackles.
~3…2…1~
“The Year of the Spider starts tonight!” Spider Queen proclaimed from her high vantage point before she muttered something under her breathe, narrowing her gaze and then looking off to the side. “Or next year ‘cause I don’t remember my line.”
~3…2…1~
Huntsman slowly lowered into frame, upside down and gripping the rigging holding him up like Spiderman.
~3…2…1~
“Oh yeah?” Sun Wukong said, appearing in frame as he walked down the wall MK was embedded in. He grabbed his staff, yanking it out of the wall and jumped down and smacked the wall with it.
… only for it to go through the wall once again and crack it. Or, rather, the false wall that was on a tilted angle to make it look like he was talking down it, rather than a heavily slanted floor.
“I’m sorry!” Mr. Cheung yelled, looking at the damage he caused. “I must have hit at weak spot!”
He hoped no one noticed that when MK offered to get the prop staff for this shot and put it into the wall… he grabbed the real one by accident.
~3…2…1~
Nui Mowang held the little bird that was Wukong’s transformation stand in for one of the final scenes, gently petting the little head with a big goofy smile on his face.
~END~
The entire cast sat around on various travel tables right outside the small Lunar New Year Festival set they had set up, various extras that had answered the open invitation for the shoot going about and getting the free food that was available at the functional stalls provided by the catering they had hired.
It was an odd sight to see Red Son and Spider Queen and Sun Wukong and everyone else sitting around together, but Liu Er Mihou being there outside of his Macaque costume broke the illusion a little bit.
It was the final day of shooting for the season 2 opening special to Monkie Kid, Revenge of the Spider Queen, and everyone was there. Even people who didn’t have to come in wanted to give a temporary farewell to Tie Shan, Nui Mowang, and Red before season 2 proper began shooting. There was still a chance they could bebcalled in for bit roles, the scripts weren’t entirely finished yet, but as far as anyone knew the Demon Bull Family wasn’t going to be returning properly any time soon.
Maybe in season 3, Tang had teased, holding the begun scripts for that in his little tablet away from prying eyes. And they were always welcome to help out in bit roles, background characters or voice over or to use their other talents to work other jobs that were needed around the set.
But even before then it would be a while.
And so that’s how Red found himself sandwiched between Long Xiaojiao and Qi Xiaotian, with the newly added member of their quartet in her full White Bone Spirit costume hanging over his shoulder to watch the compilation that Xiaojiao had expertly edited on her phone for them all.
“The director gave me permission to use whatever I wanted and I though that… maybe we could all have it for ourselves,” Xiaojiao offered, pulling up the wireless transfer option on her phone. “To watch when we miss each other being on set together. I know we’re going to probably be back together with Red Son eventually! But…”
“I’ll miss shooting with you too,” Red said smiling softly as he pulled out his own phone to accept the file. “Hopefully Mr. Tang isn’t just teasing us about season 3.”

I've always been a fan of the Kiss of Distraction trope, so I was wondering would there have ever been a time where this would've applied to Monkey and Macaque? Even funnier if someone (be it Pigsy or one of the Flower Fruit monkeys) never lets Wukong live it down.
Ok here's the thing, I've never liked this trope simply because I saw it when I was a kid in Alladin and boy did it make me uncomfortable
HOWEVER
I never thought of using it with two characters that are on the same team, so I bring you this idea: Ma, Ba and Beng are preparing a party for Wukong since it's the first birthday that he has on FFM again after coming back from his search for immortality. And the three bastard obviously put Liu Er in charge of making sure Wukong doesn't accidentally found out about it. And the white Macaque does a pretty good job at keeping the king occupied, but while moving some things for the celebration, the generals make a lot of noises that attract Wukong's attention. Liu Er tries multpiple thing to disract the king but nothing works, so in a fit of desperation He kisses Wukong. And it works! Both monkeys are too stunned to do anything and they just stand there for a solid minute. And then Liu Er's brain chatches up with what he just did and before Wukong can get a single word out the macaque dissapears in the shadows.

So, when I went to go look at different types of drunken personalities there are, I found a study done by psychology researchers from the University of Missouri had done. There are 4 main personalities, named by infamous (at least in the USA) people or characters. Everyone (?) would fit into these 4 types, even if they as an individual would show it differently compared to one with the same type.
I believe this is the Paper they wrote. Not 100% certain.
The 4 Personalities are:
The Ernest Hemingway: Not much change for them. They are the ones that seem to not be drunk after 4 beers.
The Mary Poppins: They become more social and agreeable. Very sweet and happy.
The Nutty Professor: They are the introverts that become wild and very social.
The Mr. Hyde: They tend to become less responsible, make dumber decisions and more hostile while drunk.
The stereotypical personalities fall under one of these types, so the 4 seem to mostly umbrella types.
Now.. Shall we apply this to the Monkies in question? Lest start with...
The King himself, WUKONG!
I Believe he would fall as a Mr. Hyde type of drunk. Specifically the Reckless Type. We all know the infamous Havoc in Heaven Incident and you can't tell me that each of his decisions after drinking the Heavenly Booze wasn't just crazy stunts and impulsivness. I think he might be a lightweight too which doesn't help.
Marshal Liu Er Mihou aka Macaque-
He is a heavyweight, (in the Cursed AU at least) and based on how Winter has described him when drunk I believe he would be part of the Nutty Professor personality while also being an Affectionate type of drunk. Affectionate types can be more sentimental and touchy, while also more emotional. Luckily it take many drinks or a few REALLY STRONG (maybe Heavenly strong) drinks to get like this.
Marshal Ma-
I can see her being an Ernest Hemingway type of drunk. She never seems to be drunk, if anything she might be a touch more chaotic, but having her be the not so drunk one would be funny.
Or! She could be a Mary Poppins type, while being a Happy Drunk. Which would also be funny as she would try to cheer up Macaque but get distracted by something funny (probably Wukong) and starts to laugh up a storm. I can see her having a few drinks before being drunk. Not a lightweight, but not necessarily needing a TON to become drunk.
General Ba-
Ba would likely be a Nutty Professor type and I want to say a Happy Drunk. Having the time of her life and more likely to join in on chaos that ensues as she is less anxious. More giggly, cute and sweet. Very few knew she could be such a tender cinnamon roll. A side of her that isn't seen to this extreme. She might even become more flirty with Beng and dance with him more.
She is closer to a heavywieght when it comes to how much she needs to drink. She would just sit there next to Mac and watch the chaos around her as she slowly becomes tipsy. Unless it is the strong stuff.
General Beng-
He probably is about the same level as Ma when it comes to how many drinks he needs to be drunk. When it comes to his personality though, he is a tough one. On one hand, he could be a Ernest Hemingway and Secret kind of drunk. He could be the one trying to not cause the chaos for once or trying to maintain control of the others. He has his mind mostly intact and has all the stories of the nights they all got truly drunk for the kids later as he remembers it more.
On the other hand, he could be more of a Nutty Professor/Mary Poppins type who is an Affectionate drunk. Like Flirty and Cuddly in one go. He holds his mate close or in his lap, nuzzling her and spewing compliments to her like a river flows water. He tries to describe how much he loves her and how amazing she is, to the point he can't properly do so and just tears up from his love and amazement being so overwhelming. If you thought he was sweet sober, he is sickly sweet while drunk. Ba in her sweet drunk state, tries to console him when he gets like this.
Here are my opinions on what personalities the FFM Monkies are when drunk. Let's hope Mami never drinks.
... What are the generals themselves like when drunk? Especially Ba and Beng?
I don't remember what the opposite of a lightweight is, but Macaque is that XD He can drink so much before he gets drunk. He's an emotional drunk I suppose? He talks a lot, but if someone asks him to express his emotions or talk about how he feels he's a mess. And that's why he usually does his best not to get drunk.
Ba doesn't exactly get drunk, she usually never drinks enough to become drunk at least. But once she is she becomes more loose. She'll probably think less about what she's doing and just do it instead, if that makes sense.
I actually have no idea about Beng and Ma
