Whats curious to me about takumi is how often he just, kinda apperes to the other tamers, only during spiral moments. A danger he wants to eradicate

He eradicates danger as well as he could, not thinking of others

kaname tosen! in his main verse, he survived the karakura invasion and was taken in after aizens defeat. he pleaded for an honorable death but was denied his the request [ at the request of hisagi and komamura]. he was chained in muken, but with concerns growing about the mysteries going on within seireitei he was questioned about being a cause. they transported him to the Devils Nest for precautions, almost forgetting him while the war escalated.

komamura spoke to him before achieving the secrets of his people, and kaname made a choice of being an assistance, his abilities as a vizard could damage the quincy in a way other couldn't as well. komamura told the idea to shunsui and along with aizen he was let out.

tosens feelings towards aizen are a mixed bag. he still believes in what aizen stood for and was proud on what they did. he doesn't blame aizen for ( almost ) killing him either. aizen gave him something to fight for, and even without aizen it's something he'll always believe in

It's the last thing you hear in Wheatley's boss fight and goes really hard

the climax of portal 2 is so epic, thanks in no small part to this song. the lightbulb moment when you look up at the sky and see the moon is just so great. hyyyype

So like- this track basically completely powers the climax of Portal 2. Everything seems hopeless, you get that classic Portal 2 menacing electronic music and it all builds up, then you hit that portal to the moon and… it all goes quiet as the music swells dramatically then once the situation sets in, boom! The music comes back at full force, reprising the dramatic electric music from before but now it’s orchestral. We’re not in the facility anymore, we’re in space, this is the epic finale, this is it. Then as it all comes to a peak, Wheatley is launched away into space and the music fades as he disappears into the big black void. Then some bloopy electronic music comes back in as you’re pulled to safety, you’re back in the facility.
