so many people are now sort of aware of this weird foresight that shen qingqiu possesses and are questioning him about it, and it's so telling how it's only really happening now that shen qingqiu is pretty much completely emotionally invested, even if he doesn't quite know it yet. i would say there might be one or two more scenes that will really cement it for him, but this is his life and these are people he cares for. i think the more that knowledge weighs on him, the less likely he'll be able to just sit back and watch things happen, that he'll make moves before the novel calls for them or despite system warnings because he wants to protect them
