Happy Sci-Fi Saturday! It's been a busy sci-fi week. I watched Tank Girl again for an episode of Superhero Cinephiles, all the appearances of the Guardians of the Galaxy in prep for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, In Search of Darkness I & II, and Swamp Thing (1982). How about you?

Finally got to see In Search of Darkness and... I hope those of y'all who paid for it feel like you got your money's worth. I'm supposing the budget went to paying for the rights to the film clips. By 1985 I was just disassociating until I heard Jeffrey Combs.

This could have been milked as a series by a cable channel or streaming service and been more interesting. This movie came out this year, I like this movie, yay practical effects, maybe a meme joke or acknowledging the one thing people know the most. Nothing new for the people who would actually be searching this movie out.

I learned more about how certain movies changed things just from reading samples of digital books about the genre :/
