Had a fucking WerePeppino dream a few nights ago that turned into a 4kids anime episode halfway through for some reason
Date: 4/17/2024
So for context, I made a post on one of my side blogs joking about that one Pizza Tower AU where Peppino is a werewolf that uses the tag #werepeppino and how it (to me at least) makes it seem like it’s talking about a guy who turns into Peppino during the full moon rather than werewolf Peppino like it intended, and it ended up escalating with me and a former follower/mutual (they deactivated recently much to my dismay) conspiring up an entire AU-ish concept of what an actual werepeppino would look and act like.
I’m not joking, literally TWO DAYS after I made this shit up, I had a dream where I myself was a werepeppino who was friends with a guy who’s girlfriend was a werewolf. (Neither of these people of whom I know irl btw cause I don’t go outside and have very few IRL friends because of that unfortunately)
I remember in the dream, we were hanging out at the guy and his gf’s house during the night of a full moon, but the problem was we didn’t even know there was gonna be one until it started getting dark out and me and the gf started turning. I remember the gf as a werewolf wasn’t nearly as aggressive as they usually are in most media and more or less just acted like a weird dog. There was even this one friend/neighbor of the couple who had a dog that would play with her while she was in wolf-form the way two dogs would normally play with each other.
Then about halfway through the dream, the little fanfic we like to call the plot turned into something straight outta a 4kids anime dub when the “villains” of the dream were introduced. Said villains were a pair of scientists who would apparently kidnap werebeasts in order to either preform cruel experiments on them or sell them on the black market as exotic pets for rich cunts with no morals, often injecting the ones they sold with this drug they made that would keep them in their beast form for longer periods of time. (Cause what’s the point of having a pet werewolf if he’s only gonna be a badass wolf monster 1-3 days outta the month I guess)
At first they were had their eye on the werewolf gf, astonished by her beauty and probably thinking about how much they could pay for her, but then they saw my ugly old man ass and realized I was technically a breed of weretoon, which were apparently rare and had little to no documentation by modern science. So they decided to take me instead, involving a weird Team Rocket-looking ass trap which they used to capture me (I shit you not they had the goofy hot air balloon and everything), and taking me to their evil science lab to experiment on me before selling me for a shit ton of kromer.
The rest of the dream was me, along with a couple other captive werebeasts trying to escape the lab while the guy I was friends with and his friend and werewolf gf went on an epic journey to save me with it ending with a confrontation between them and the scientists. Apparently my attempt to escape was compromised cause during this scene, they were basically about to inject me with this improved version of their magic transformation elongating drug which would apparently keep me stuck in werepeppino form permanently. Unfortunately I guess these motherfuckers were too busy violating the Geneva Convention to actually play Pizza Tower cause they got caught off guard by a certain game mechanic I was able to exploit to avoid the injection.
GET
PARRIED
MOTHER
FUCKER
And it actually worked, not only was the injection blocked, but one of the scientist (the girl one, I forgot to mention the scientists were these twin brother and sister, they also had stupid names too but I can’t remember what they were rn) got injected instead, causing her to become a werepeppino herself, transform on the spot, and because of the drug was now stuck like that.
FOREVER
After that I was rescued by my friends as the scientists kinda-sorta surrendered and we went home. The end, they all lived happily ever after, tune in next time on DragonBall Z, you get the jest.
Lowkey wanna make some art based off this dream just because it was so ridiculous and thus memorable.

Writing Notes: The Moon (pt. 1)
Beaver Moon - the first full moon of November Beavers are known to build their winter homes in November to prepare for the first frost, which is why some say the November full moon is called a Beaver Moon. Other sources claim that the name comes from early Native American tribes setting beaver traps in November to use their pelts for warmth in the winter months.
Blood Moon - a full moon that coincides with a full lunar eclipse and that has an unusually reddish appearance During a full lunar eclipse (when the full moon is completely in the darkest part of Earth's shadow) a small amount of the sun's light from around the edges of the Earth passes through the Earth's atmosphere and hits the surface of the moon. Because of the properties of the different colors of light, the moon appears red. (More dust or particles in the Earth's atmosphere will make the moon appear redder.) The red appearance of these full moons gives them their name.
Blue Moon - the second full moon in a calendar month Because most months have more than 29.5 days, there's bound to be some months with more than one full moon. When you have two full moons in a single calendar month, the second is called a blue moon. The term blue moon is also used in the phrase "once in a blue moon" to describe something that happens very rarely.
Harvest Moon - the full moon nearest the time of the September equinox The full moon that occurs closest to the fall equinox (approximately September 23rd) is the one called the harvest moon. Usually in September but sometimes in October, the harvest moon is so named because of the extra moonlight it provides in the evenings to farmers harvesting their summer crops. The angle of the moon's orbit relative to the horizon causes the fall full moon to rise faster than usual, which makes it seem like the moon is rising at the same time (near sunset) for several nights in a row, providing bright moonlight for harvesting.
Hunter's Moon - the full moon after the harvest moon The term has origins from the Algonquin tribes. It is apparently called this because this is the time of year when hunters would begin to store meat for the winter months. Like the harvest moon, the hunter's moon also appears to rise faster providing extended moonlight for hunting in the evening.
Long Night Moon - the full moon that occurs nearest the winter solstice Also known as the Moon Before Yule. The winter solstice is also the day with the fewest daylight hours and the longest night, hence this moon's name.
Strawberry Moon - June's full moon Either the last full moon of spring or the first full moon of summer, the strawberry moon occurs in June and signals the start of the summer, when strawberries ripen in the US. The name apparently comes from the Algonquin tribes. A European name for this moon is the Rose Moon, or the Honey Moon.
Supermoon - a full moon occurring when the moon is at or near the closest point to Earth in its orbit When the moon orbits the Earth, it is not always the same distance from the Earth. When a full moon reaches the point in its orbit that is closest to Earth, known as the perigee, it appears brighter than at other points and so we call it a supermoon. Originally, the term supermoon was used to describe either a full moon or a new moon occurring at or near perigee but later, the meaning was restricted to only a full moon at this orbital point.
Wolf Moon - the first full moon of the year 'Wolf moon' is the name for the first full moon in a calendar year, and since a full moon occurs every 29.5 days (a period known as the synodic month), the wolf moon always occurs in January.
This graphic shows the position of the Moon and the Sun during each of the Moon’s phases and the Moon as it appears from Earth during each phase. Not to scale.
Moon Phases:
Earthshine:
Though the Moon is in a crescent phase in this photograph, most of the darkened, Earth-facing side of the Moon is still dimly visible, illuminated by sunlight reflecting off our planet. This reflected light is called earthshine.
Daytime Moons:
The waxing Moon rises over a ridge in the Wasatch Mountains, Utah.
Though the Moon is often thought of as a nighttime visitor, it’s also visible during the day as a faint, pale presence. The best times to see a daytime Moon are perhaps during the first and last quarter phases, when the Moon is high enough above the horizon and at about 90 degrees from the Sun in the sky. This helps make the Sun’s reflected light bright enough to see as it reflects off of the Moon. The Moon can be seen in the daylit sky at any phase except for the new moon, when it’s invisible to us, and full moon, when it’s below the horizon during the day. The crescent through quarter phases are high in the sky during the day, but the daytime gibbous phases can be glimpsed only just before the Sun sets.

Related festivals:
• Sukkot- is a Torah-commanded holiday celebrated for seven days, beginning on the 15th day of the month of Tishrei. It is one of the Three Pilgrimage Festivals (Hebrew: שלוש רגלים, shalosh regalim) on which those Israelites who could were commanded to make a pilgrimage to the Temple in Jerusalem. In addition to its harvest roots, the holiday also holds spiritual importance with regard to its abandonment of materialism to focus on nationhood, spirituality, and hospitality, this principle underlying the construction of a temporary, almost nomadic, structure of a sukkah.
• Mid-Autumn festival- also known as the Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival, is a traditional festival celebrated in Chinese culture. Similar holidays are celebrated by other cultures in East & Southeast Asia. It is one of the most important holidays in Chinese culture; its popularity is on par with that of Chinese New Year. The history of the Mid-Autumn Festival dates back over 3,000 years. The festival is held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunisolar lunisolar calendar with a full moon at night, corresponding to mid-September to early October of the Gregorian calendar. On this day, the Chinese believe that the Moon is at its brightest and fullest size, coinciding with harvest time in the middle of Autumn.
• Thanksgiving- This is a secular holiday which is similar to the cell of Mabon; A day to give thanks for the food & blessings of the previous year. The American Thanksgiving is the last Thursday of November while the Canadian Thanksgiving is celebrated in October
• Festival of Dionysus- There were several festivals that honored Dionysus, the God of wine. It was a time of fun, games, feasting & drinking wine.
Activities:
•Scatter offerings in a harvested fields, Offer libations to trees
• Decorate your home and/or altar space for fall
• Bake bread
• Perform a ritual to restore balance and harmony to your life
• Cleanse your home of negative energies
• Pick apples
• Have a dinner or feast with your family and/or friends
• Set intentions for the upcoming year
• Purge what is no longer serving you
•Take a walk in the woods
• Enjoy a pumpkin spice latte
• Donate to your local food bank
• Gather dried herbs, plants, seeds & pods
• Learn something new
• Make wine
• Brew an apple cinnamon simmer pot
• Create an outdoor Mabon altar
•Adorn burial sites with leaves, acorns, & pinecones to honor those who have passed over & visit their graves
Many cultures see the second harvest (after the first harvest Lammas) and equinox as a time for giving thanks. This time of year is when farmers know how well their summer crops did, and how well fed their animals have become. This determines whether you and your family would have enough food for the winter. That is why people used to give thanks around this time, thanks for their crops, and animals, and food.
The name Mabon comes from the Welsh God, who was the son of the Earth Mother Goddess. However, there is evidence that the name was adopted in the 1970s, and the holiday was not originally a Celtic celebration.
Some believe Night and day are of equal legth and the God's energy & strength are nearly gone . The Goddess begins to mourn the loss she knows is coming, but knows he will return when he reborn at Yule.

Flower Moon - May 22-23, 2024
Ready your gathering baskets and your best shoes for traipsing, witches - it’s time to greet the Flower Moon!
Flower Moon
The Flower Moon gives us the fulfillment of the first flush of the Pink Moon, with fragrant blossoms greeting us at every turn and heralding the merry month of May. The floral name for this particular cycle is shared by a number of indigenous nations, include the Algonquin, Anishnaabe, and Dakota. Other names include Budding Moon and Frog Moon (Cree), Planting Moon (Dakota and Lakota), and the Moon of Mulberry (Choctaw).
European names for this moon include Milk Moon (Anglo-Saxon) and Hare Moon (Celtic, allegedly). Some modern pagan circles also call it the Grass Moon as well, since the flourishing of grasslands is more common in some areas than the appearance of flowers.
This full moon peaks during daylight hours in the Western Hemisphere (around 9:53am EDT), so the moon may appear to be full on both the nights of the 22nd and 23rd.
What Does It Mean For Witches?
As we pass the spring rites and move toward the summer season, it’s the perfect time to celebrate your growth and the ways in which you want to flourish. This is the season for romance and love, and not just that which comes when we put on flower crowns and go a-Maying. This is a time to love ourselves as much as each other, to celebrate our bonds, and to be reminded of our own beauty and strength. Remember the things you love about yourself and consciously take a moment to remind your loved ones how much you care for them.
It is also a time to celebrate fertility, be it animal, vegetable, mineral, or spiritual. Put new plans into action, start that project you’ve been meaning to do, embark on that new hobby or activity you wanted to try. If you have a long-term goal or a big project, now is the time to outline your path to completion and plan how to direct your energy so you don’t burn out halfway through. Don’t hold back - break through the walls of imposter syndrome and anxiety, indulge in your creative urges, and let your inspiration soar. What you choose to plant and nurture now determines what you will harvest later in the year. And above all, remember to have FUN!
What Witchy Things Can We Do?
If you’ve been feeling the urge to do some flower-related magic, now is the perfect time! Familiarize yourself with the wildflowers in your area and if possible, maybe grab your basket and scissors and go on a foraging trip. Remember to properly identify flowers before picking them, don’t overharvest, and don’t take anything from private property without permission or from national parks full stop. You can press the flowers with a notebook and something flat and heavy, or you can dry them in hanging bunches, in a cardboard tray, or in a low-temp oven for later use.
This is also a good opportunity to get your hands in the dirt and connect with the land where you live. If there are plants in your care, take a little time to do some pruning and watering. Check them for spring pests and treat where needed. Give them some love - talk to them, sing to them, encourage them to grow tall and strong and abundant. Bless them as you tend their plots and reaffirm your commitment to be a good caretaker.
As an exercise, try making flower crowns, garlands, bouquets, wreaths, or centerpieces using plant correspondences, flower language, or color magic for a desired effect. This can be done with real flowers or silk ones, depending on how long you want to keep them around. Try your hand at making flower water with roses or other blooms - it makes a wonderful base for moon water!
Experiment with recipes for dishes and drinks that use edible flowers too! Whether it’s color-changing butterfly peaflower tea, sweet and peppery nasturtium, adorable pressed pansy shortbread cookies, or the tried-and-true comforts of chamomile, flowers have many tasty secrets to offer. Don’t be afraid to add botanicals to your health and beauty routine as well! (Just make sure nothing’s going to negatively interact with your meds or irritate a pre-existing condition. Safety first!)
Whether you do so with your near-and-dear, your witchy circle, or by yourself, celebrate everything that blooms - including you!
Happy Flower Moon, witches! 🌕🌼

Reminder!
During a time of folks using current events to spread hate and vitriol, it’s important to stand firm with love and support for Jewish people and make sure our spaces are firmly free of antisemitism. Fighting fire with fire is never the solution, and support and action for groups in peril does not and should not require falling to different types of bigotry or antisemitic tropes. MKCember is a celebration of a beloved Jewish character and all aspects of that should be respected and loved, and focus on joy and genuine exploration. While creating your works, be aware, be vigilant, and be informed, and together we can make something lovely! /end ID]

Cinco Pa’ Las Doce Instagram highlight (transcript below)
Transcript of Cinco Pa’ Las Doce deep dive by @belablue222:
“Cinco Pa' las doce: a cultural deep dive and its ties to the moon knight system.
Disclaimer: I am latina, but i cannot speak for all of the traditions practiced or not practiced in all latinoamérica countries due to how many of us there are, as well as how unique each of our traditions are. Because of this, I will be using traditions that are more widely practiced.
As we approach the end of the year, places all over the world prepare to bring in the new year with all sorts of traditions and customs. It is a time of celebrating, mingling, and integrating. It’s a time for one to connect to their background of where they come from, and embrace tradition.
New Years is especially important in latinoamérica, and has traditions that go back decades or even centuries. Today, i will be talking about a well known and beloved tradition, as well as others that are commonly practiced in central and South America.
Cinco Pa’ Las Doce
Written in 1963 and performed by Venezuelan actor and singer Néstor Zavarce, Cinco Pa' Las Doce is a hauntingly beautiful song about a person wanting to run home to hug their mom for New Years, with the sound of bells playing throughout the street. The song became immensely popular throughout latinoamérica throughout the years, and there are many different versions with many different styles, but the original one still remains the iconic classic widely known.
In typical tradition, people with gather together at 11:55pm on New Year’s Eve and spend time together, thinking about past memories, wondering what the new years will bring, and enjoy each others company as the song plays. Once the song ends, it is midnight, and people will celebrate this by doing many different traditions, here are a few of them that are most commonly practiced...
Typical traditions:
Fireworks: like a lot of other places, fireworks are often lit in the biggest of cities, or the smallest of villages, the colors brightening the sky of the new year.
12 uvas: eating 12 grapes at midnight is a tradition that is ment to bring good luck for the new year, and represent 12 wishes that will only come true if the grapes are eaten quickly.
Walking a block with a suitcase: when the clock strikes midnight, some people will grab a suitcase and walk (or even run) a block around their neighborhood for them to be able to travel and go to many places in the new year
Lentils: lentils have significance in many different ways for latam countries. some will eat lentils or lentil soup at midnight, others will pocket them or even wrap 12 of them in a bill, no matter what, lentils are meant to bring good fortune and prosperity for the new year.
Yet what does this all have to do with Moon Knight?
The Moon Knight system in the MCU are both Jewish as well as Latino. New years is a great way for them to connect with their latam roots, while also being respectful to their other traditions as well. They can enjoy latinoamerican foods that are customary to the winter seasons, sing songs in spanish, and enjoy many other things. they could even intigrate things or come up with new traditions so they can comfortably celebrate el año nuevo.
From an artistic standpoint, it's a good way to ponder what their relationship is with these traditions that have deep ties to family, and the potential effects it has on them due to their own relationship with their family. Do they struggle? Do they reclaim? Do they pass these traditions on?
An interesting thing to ponder to the ethereal bells of Cinco Pa' las Doce.” (End of transcript)

Wednesday, April 10, 22:18 UT - Thursday, April 11, 12:59 UT. “Keep it real during this OP with Moon in Taurus and focus on practical matters.”
Monday, April 15, 19:13 UT - Tuesday, April 16, 02:24 UT. “Mercury is retrograde, so use this time to review and edit ongoing projects or reconnect with people from the past.”

Thursday, April 25, 11:55 UT - 23:17 UT. “Take advantage of Mercury stationing direct during this OP to plan and chart a new path.”
Monday, April 29, 15:45 UT - Tuesday, April 30, 15:19 UT. “Very positive OP ideal for constructive and innovative projects, but Mercury is slow and the Moon is waning, so it is preferable to focus on work started before late March.”
Et Cetera
The shadow of the eclipse ends on Thursday, April 11. Yippee!
There’s a big event on Saturday, April 20: Jupiter conjunct Uranus, at 21°49’ Taurus. We may feel it strongly the day before, Friday the 19th, when Mars/Pisces sextiles them both. It would be a lot more “significant” if it happened more than one time - as it is, it’s a “one and done” aspect, so don’t set your hopes too high. If it dings something in your chart, use the Mars sextiles on Friday the 19th to (try to) focus and direct the energy.

Welcome to the first event!
Now until July 31st!
If you were considering doing something, but were too busy, etc, before or if this is your first time hearing of it, good news: You have a whole other month! (Until the day before the next full moon.)
This will take place between the dates of the next two full moons: June 3rd and July 3rd. (Edit: Now until July 31st!)
June’s is the Strawberry Moon, also called the Rose Moon and the Hot Moon.
July’s is the Buck Moon, also called the Hay Moon, Thunder Moon, Herb/Wyrt Moon, and Claiming Moon.
Depending on the region both are also known as the Mead Moon, hence the name and theme of the event. (The Mead Moon can also refer to the full moon closest to the summer solstice, which is in June most of the time, but is in July this year.)
The summer solstice is June 21st, Midsummer Eve is June 23rd, and Midsummer Day is June 24th.
There are 3 ways to participate: fic, art or playlists involving 3 or more of the 21 prompts:
3s and 7s, self-expression
Creative number 21
Fall into Altered Reality
Frightening, enlightening or fun
Aphrodisiacs can induce
lovers, friends or strangers to fuck
The avatar of a dancing deity
Becomes a velvet antlered Buck
A courtship hunt before the Claiming
Games and riddles with the Fae

--Event info below--
Rules and requirements:
New or unpublished works are accepted for this event. Feel free to combine with other ongoing or upcoming events.
For Writers:
3,000 words minimum using 3 or more of the 21 prompts.
This can be one work or multiple works of at least 1,000 words each. No maximum for word count or amount of works.
For Artists:
Use 3 or more of the prompts to create visuals (drawings, gifsets, manips, vids/edits, moodboards, etc.) Can be one work or multiple.
For Mixers:
There are 2 options for standalone fanmixes:
Use 3-7 prompts to make a playlist of 21 tracks. At least 3 tracks per prompt used. (For example: A playlist with 4 prompts — 5 songs for Rose, 7 songs for Full Moon, 3 songs for Thunder, and 6 songs for Altered Reality.) Arrange them however you like: all grouped together in segments, whatever flows best, randomly, etc.
Make a playlist of 21 songs with 1 song for every prompt in any order.
If you’re attaching a playlist to a fanfic or art post:
Do whatever you want, but you get extra cool points for 21 tracks and including 1 or more songs for every prompt that you use and/or 3 songs for at least one prompt.
Put your playlists on Spotify, YouTube or both so I can listen to them. 😉
Content:
This is an event for fans of Sterek, but it’s Sterek & Stuff for a reason. I’m a multishipper and some of you might be too, so the deal is if you pay the Sterek Toll you can do other Teen Wolf ships (or pre-ships and gen) in separate works in your series should you desire.
The Sterek Toll is:
At least 2 prompts and 1,000 words of Sterek for writers.
At least 2 prompts and 1 piece of art for artists.
Music is generally up to interpretation so unless you go out of your way to say it’s not for Sterek don’t worry about it, lol. But if mixers want a toll too then it’s 2-7 prompts and a 14 track playlist.
All Sterek all the time is of course always welcome and there will be a Sterek Only subcollection on AO3 and separate Sterek and NonSterek posts on Tumblr. (Assuming anyone does NonSterek, lol.)
To count as a Sterek fanfic Stiles and Derek have to be together by the end of the work. The story should focus on them, but feel free to include other characters too.
Sterek Plus and Sterek Poly go in the other ships category and is subject to the Sterek Toll.
Allowed:
Any background ship.
Crossovers as long as the focus is on Sterek (or other TW characters if you’ve paid the Sterek Toll.)
Angst, whump, and dark themes as long as the story (the last related work if it's part of a series) ends on an upbeat or hopeful note and there’s nothing from the Nope section.
Nope:
No permanent death of Stiles or Derek. If you’re doing a series in the same setting they both have to be alive and together (or have the possibility of being together in the future) in the last related work. This applies to other TW works too. (No permanently killing off whoever is in any other main ship either.)
No miserable, tragic endings. Everything doesn’t have to be perfect and happily ever after, but the last related work should at least have a hopeful or “we’ll make the best of this shit” ending for Stiles and Derek (or other main ship.)
No explicit descriptions or depictions of sexual activity under 16. (Kissing, dating, references or vague descriptions are okay.)
No bestiality. (As in regular animals. Xeno /Tera with beta or full shifted Derek, Stiles, etc, is okay.)
No scat.
No death or gore fetishes. (As in rotting corpses and gaping wounds and stuff. Bloodplay is okay.)
No Real Person Fiction.
Make sure to tag accurately!
Posting:
The event starts at 5:30am PDT (12:30pm GMT) on June 3rd so please don’t post before then.
Now officially ending at 11:59pm PDT on July 31st (6:59am GMT on August 1st,) but late posting accepted.
On Tumblr:
Tag your work here with #mead moons and #mead moons (prompt) for each prompt that you use. (Ex: #mead moons fae.) At @sterek-and-stuff-events.
If you’re doing multiple works put links to the previous works in each new post. The requirements (3 prompts, 3,000 words for writers, etc) have to be met by the end of the event.
On AO3:
I’ll post the links to the AO3 collections on the morning of June 3rd. There will be a main Mead Moons collections and subcollections for Music, Art, Stories, and Sterek Only works.
If you’re doing multiple works put them in a series. (Mead Moons or something related to your prompts.) The requirements (3 prompts, 3,000 words for writers, etc) have to be met by the end of the event.
Post your works to the main collection and relevant subcollections below.
The collections:
The main collection. Everything goes here.
Sterek only works.
You’ve reached the end!
Once more the prompts are: 21, Altered Reality, Aphrodisiacs, Becomes, Buck, Claiming, Fae, Full Moon, Hay, Herbs, Honeymoon, Hot, Mead, Midnight Sun, Midsummer Night’s Dream, Revelry, Ritual, Rose, Solstice, Strawberry, and Thunder. (They're up to your interpretation!)

July!
July is here and is one of the main months of summer. I’m all about the warmth of the sun, long summer nights, bonfires, the water...
Summers magic can be all about increasing things, love and friendship, light magick and the sun and warmth and strength. When its summer, I also think of dragonflies and fireflies. Dragonflies are all about dream work, emotions, freedom, messages and omens, transformation, and truth. Fireflies are all about activating and awakening, light magic, guidance through the dark, illumination and hope. Light magick, dream work, and magick for purpose and strength are great this month.
This month on the 8th, the Celtic Tree Month of Holly begins. This is where it is believed that the Holly king has overtaken the Oak King (who’s rule started on June 10th). This is why it is believed now the days start getting shorter or darker. Until the winter solstice where the Holly and Oak king battle again and the days start getting longer due to the Oak King winning. The Holly tree is considered sacred and lucky. The Holly brings strength, protection, energy, and balance.
On July 17th we have the birthday of the Goddess Isis. Isis is the Egyptian Goddess of earth and protector of the dead. She’s considered the patron and role model of all women striving to be loving wives and mothers. She can also be celebrated during Ostara and Yule. You can work with her when needing help with love, transformation, compassion, forgiveness, the afterlife, grief, among other things.
On July 23rd we have Neptunalia which is a 2 day celebration the Romans dedicated to Neptune, the God of waters. From what I’ve read, they did this because this was a time where water was desperately needed.
We have a new moon July 5th and the new moon will be in cancer. This is a great time to make your home more nurturing and welcoming. You might be feeling very “domesticated” and full of compassion.
Our full moon is July 21st. This is known as the Buck moon. People can also refer to this moon as the moon of loss and new beginnings. Just like the buck sheds its antlers and regrows them, take this time to reflect on what growth you have gone through after a loss. This is a moon of strength for with loss and growth you become stronger!
Our full moon will be in Aquarius, which means you might feel a bit rebellious, and others might find you unpredictable.
Crystals for July are carnelian, malachite, onyx, ruby, saphire, red tourmaline, and turquoise.
Animals for July are the woodpecker and salmon.
Colors are green and yellow.
Flowers are Larkspur and Water Lily, I love water lilies.
The zodiac sign this month is Cancer.

Tickletober Dabble Requests are Open!!!
Hello everyone! October is in a little more than a month, so it’s time to start preparations for Tickletober! I’m opening requests for dabbles (under 1,000 word stories) with this year’s prompts! There’s three different lists of amazing prompts this year and I’m indecisive and can’t choose, sooo I’m letting everyone else choose! Even though there’s three different prompts, I’ll only do one prompt for each day. Once that day is chosen, I’ll mark the chosen prompt in bold and put that day as “TAKEN” to the side. (Like last year, I’ve reserved some days for some of my own ideas!) On some of the days, there may only be one prompt. This is the prompt I want to do the most that day, but don’t have any characters or scenarios for it yet, so they’re still available to be requested! (As of now, the maximum is three requests per person / requester.)
Here’s how you can send a request: Please choose one prompt from the specific day and state which one you have chosen in an ask. In addition to the prompt, please send the characters of your choosing! Although not required, a scenario with your chosen characters and its correlation to the prompt would be helpful! (Example: For day 21 - New Discovery, Iono discovers that Brassius is ticklish when he’s a guest on her stream. Naturally, she has to use this new information to her advantage.) You don’t have to word it exactly like this, just an example!
Requests for Tickletober will close on September 23rd, 2023 or when all slots are taken! If you would like to send a request, please check my Fandom List and Rules of Request (here or on my Welcome Post) to check what I will write for! If you have any other questions please don’t hesitate to send an ask! I can’t wait to see your requests!
P.S: If you send any Fire Emblem Engage requests, you get a big virtual hug from me. If not, that’s okay too! Lol!
Here is the list of prompts:

They didn’t feel ready to be parents, and as they were discussing their options, Elijah offered up a kinship adoption. It ended up being the best option, and nine months later Miller came along. And four years later when another IVF treatment ended up working, his little sister Blaire was born. The family of four, along with Miller’s grandparents spend almost every day together, meeting for dinners and events on weekends. They are also close to their extended family, though most of them are on the mainland. Miller is extremely close with Blaire, but also extremely protective. full blurb.
Miller Hughes was born a small town boy and he’d, apparently, die a small town boy. A kinship adoption and grandparents that lived just down the road, made the Hughes family extremely close. It was hard to be lonely as a Hughes, and that was by design, but sometimes as a teenage boy, it could feel suffocating to be surrounded by family or someone who knew you as Victoria’s son! or Charles’ grandson! So when it came time for college, Miller took his love for food (fostered and encouraged by his family) to a professional scale by attending the Culinary Institute of America and diving headfirst into the competitive world of restaurants in New York City. He made friends, fell in love, and was generally anonymous in the big city. And he thought that’s what he wanted. Until his fiance sat him down and told him, mid wedding planning, that she was in love with her childhood best friend and couldn’t keep doing this. Within an hour she was gone, taking friends with her and leaving the usually chipper and friendly Miller feeling isolated and cold. Feeling alone, he did what he always knew how to do. He called his family. They didn’t waste a second. A friend of his father’s had a job opening at a restaurant on the island and Miller had an interview a few days later. His grandparents were downsizing to an apartment that needed less maintenance than their home, and needed help maintaining their rental property next to the house. So Miller packed his life in the city up, moved back home and started trying to rebuild himself piece by piece, trying to ignore the fairytale written about him by those people that saw him as Just Another Hughes.

The New Moon in Capricorn: Dynamic Changes
The New Moon will be in the sign of Capricorn on December 23rd, 2022. Now that Jupiter has entered the sign of Aries, it will be squaring the Sun and Moon in the sign of Capricorn early on this season. What does this mean? It can feel like an awakening for Cardinal signs as well as Cardinal dominants. Now that Jupiter has moved away from Pisces and ingressed in Aries, we can feel more prepared to plan and go after what we want.
Aries – This New Moon is all about career goals and going full speed ahead. It is a time when you feel a lot more confident with where you see yourself. During the next six months, you will be planting those seeds to focus on where you truly want to see yourself and focus more on doing what brings you happiness. It is your time to shine, heal and break free from your limiting thoughts.
Taurus – Expect to see a shift in your philosophy during this time as the stellium in Capricorn officially forms with this Moon transit. Use this time to reflect on the past and see it as a building block to a future that flourishes and shines brighter. You have the essentials to take on anything that comes your way. Capricorn Season will awaken you to new opportunities and meet new people as well.
Gemini – Capricorn season could feel slightly overwhelming with the cluster of planets in the same sign but somehow you know that this is going to allow for growth and changes ahead. You have a supportive circle that will bring you inspiration during this time. Navigating through some past hurts might not be easy but with Venus also here, you feel empowered and prepared to heal.
Cancer – The energy is shifting back to you and your relationships. If those power dynamics have not served you during the last year, it is your moment to switch things up. Understand what you want in an existing or new relationship and be more open to communicating since Mercury and Venus are also in Capricorn. Make this energy about you and your happiness.
Leo – You have gone through a lot of growth with these Saturn transits, now you are going to be able to channel what you have learned into creating a space where you do not feel overwhelmed by your responsibilities. Learning to balance work with healing will be your priority now. Expanding your belief season will also be a theme for you for the next six months.
Virgo – Now that Jupiter has left your relationship house, you are going to apply the lessons in dating and partnerships for the next six months. What you learned during the Jupiter in Pisces transit will be important so you do not repeat the same relationship mistakes. Jupiter in Aries will help you heal from previous relationships and be more open to making profound changes that will help you feel empowered with connecting.
Libra – Claiming your space and showing others just how valuable you are will be major themes with this transit. Saturn in Aquarius has allowed you to focus on work and achieve the successes you deserve. The New Moon will allow you to make changes and redefine the way you view success. Your relationship energy is sparked as well now that Jupiter has re-entered Aries. Networking and going after what you desire comes easier for you now.
Scorpio – All of these transits in Mutable and Fixed signs are finally shifting gears into Cardinal territory. You could feel this Moon transit as a breath of fresh air and as an opportunity to move ahead with what you desired. Although Uranus might still bring you some havoc, the energy seems to be more manageable with this Moon transit. You are here to pick up the pieces and fix anything that has been shifted by the Saturn transits while focusing on balance.
Sagittarius – Jupiter in Pisces might have rocked or crumbled your world, nevertheless the energy is shifting with Jupiter back in Aries and making a powerful trine to your sign. With the Moon in Capricorn, you can see this as an opportunity to expand in other areas that expand your creativity and allow you to be more comfortable with who you are. Ignore the haters, take charge, and don’t look back.
Capricorn – You are the star of the show with this New Moon in your sign making you feel unusually optimistic. Jupiter has entered Aries and you are focused on preserving your energy and investing in people as well as things that bring you joy and can further your success. You have new game plans to get where you want, you are more trusting in others, and can feel your confidence blossoming.
Aquarius – Things can feel a little cloudy with Saturn still in your sign steering you to the next phase before it moves into the sign of Pisces 2023. This Capricorn Season will push you to contemplate everything that has happened in the last several years. You have been presented with challenges and pushed through like a soldier. Jupiter in Aries will make you feel more open to communicating and sharing with others regarding issues you need to learn how to heal from. Trusting yourself and starting a new foundation for healing and growth will be essential for the next six months.
Pisces – You are in your element now during this Capricorn Season since it can serve as a preview of your Saturn in the Pisces era. The work that needs to be done now will be amplified next year when Saturn moves in your sign. The networking you do will push you forward, reminding you to seek others when you feel overwhelmed. Setting up a more manageable work schedule and plan can also help you feel less pressured by responsibilities.

The VIEVECOR CITY GAZETTE (VCG) is Vievecor City’s supernaturals-only news bulletin. It is a publication that has been magically tailored by the city’s techno-pagans to keep the supernatural population of Vievecor City up to date with what is going on in the city. These publications are usually sent out at the beginning of each month in the form of highly encrypted e-mail blasts that will be automatically deleted from an inbox after 48hours.
MAY 2024 EDITION
This year’s Earth Day event was spectacular! The supernatural community would like to thank the elves for hosting such a wondrous event. It is always nice to spend time in nature and getting to know the new flora in our magical park is such a blessing.
The elves would like to announce that Grayalder has officially found their spot to take root in Vievecor City Park! As such, this part of the park will be closed to the public and wider supernatural community until further notice to ensure that no one disturbs Grayalder while they settle in.
This month’s full moon will be at its peak on the night of May 23rd. It will last for three nights and the Lycaon pack has opened the forests of Chissob Hills to all other packs and lone wolves who need space to run. The supernatural community is strongly encouraged to not go near the Chissob Hills forests during this month’s full moon.
RUMOUR HAS IT…
While the supernatural community is glad of the news of Grayalder finding their place in the park, there have been whisperings that a large hole opened in the ground right next to where Grayalder chose to take root. What shocked the elves and those who were present in the park that day were the ancient elvish ruins that were unearthed beneath Vievecor City Park... This is currently being kept a secret from the wider community while those in the know deal with the situation and speculation is that this is the reason that section of the park, while usually open to the supernatural community as a whole, has been closed off for the foreseeable future.
OOC:
The ‘Rumour Has It…’ section is not printed in the VCG and is additional information that is being talked about amongst the supernatural community. Players can plot with each other to have their characters be part of anything stated in the ‘Rumour Has It’ section. Players are welcome to have their characters catch, return or even keep any magical creatures that have been introduced in this post. Players are welcome to use all the information in this post to inform their going forward. Have fun~

We’re into June already - how time flies! This year, we’ve elected to bump the Arena events a month earlier (June instead of July, November instead of December) so that they do not directly precede our Lore Events. Stay cool and stay hydrated, TOA!
Housekeeping
Current Month in TOA: Guardian Moon (January)
We hope you enjoyed the Ethereal Ball! A quick reminder: as stated in the closing details, please keep your ball claims separate from your regular claims. These are due no later than 11:59pm EST on June 7th.
New month, new mission board time. This set of missions will feature our unaffiliated faculty, Knights of Seiros, and Ashen Wolves representatives. Check it out here!
Look forward to the arena coming up later this month, slated to start on the 16th. Signups will open the 9th.
Tumblr has not yet officially forced all blogs to adhere to using the Beta editor, but we recommend creating new threads with this editor from now on. Trimming beta threads requires downloading the XKit Rewritten extension. To create permanent titles for new threads, post an empty thread with just the title, save it to your drafts, and then delete the original. You can then write a new post from your reblog, and the title will be treated as a separate post when you’re trimming. A full guide will be added to our Newcomer’s Guide once this feature becomes permanent, in case new changes are implemented between now and then.
Please don’t forget to leave feedback on our feedback poll for this month! In particular, we would like to know what you thought of the Ethereal Ball, whether it’s your first time participating or you’ve had other years to compare it to. Of course, as always, if there’s something else on your mind, please let us know.
Important Reminders
We’ve had some complaints of late concerning art being used without express permission. Please be sure to consider TOA’s rule (stated on our rules page) concerning our stance on sourcing art:
“ Additionally, reposting or reusing someone else’s art without permission is strictly against our rules. Reblog or share from the source. If you can’t find the source, then don’t post the work, or ask a mod to help you find it. This includes fanart used in icons and blog layouts. ”
Please be sure to adjust accordingly with the rules, otherwise the mods may have to reach out and issue a warning.

Second, we’ve received complaints lately about shipping jokes involving muses who are already in relationships and otherwise have no relation to the muse the joke is about. While the context that this takes place in might be fictional, muns often have strong feelings about who they ship their muses with and making these sorts of jokes can be offensive. Likewise, inviting or pressuring muses to enter polygamous relationships, even for AUs (including AUs where the relationship is monogamous but is not with the muse’s chosen partner), should receive express consent from all involved parties beforehand. This consent should be extended to jokes as well, especially ones about a character (or characters) collecting partners, even if the partners are currently single.

Lastly, setting blogs to being unsearchable has come with the unintended side effect of removing open starters and event posts from searches as well. The mod team will not require you to make your blog searchable, but please be sure to post your open starters in the #wanted-plots channel of our Discord server so it doesn’t get lost! Additionally, the tag for open starters is #toa open, with a space.

Other Celebrations:
Neptunalia-July 23rd(approximately
The Neptunalia was an obscure archaic two-day festival in honor of Neptune as god of waters, celebrated at Rome in the heat and drought of summer. was one of the dies comitiales, when committees of citizens could vote on civil or criminal matters.
Neptune’s festival (Neptunalia) took place in the heat of the summer when water was scarcest; thus, its purpose was probably the propitiation of the freshwater deity. Neptune had a temple in the Circus Flaminius at Rome; one of its features was a sculptured group of marine deities headed by Poseidon.
Respecting the ceremonies of this festival nothing is known, except that the people used to build huts of branches & foliage(Umbrae), in which they probably feasted, drank, and amused themselves. Ancient calendars describe the days. Entertainment would have probably also included horse racing, with competitors racing round the track & circling ‘turning posts’ (metas) at either end of the Circus.

September Monthly Forecast
September 2023; Astrology and Horoscope
– Astro News
🍂 Venus Retrograde in Leo (Ongoing): During this ongoing retrograde season, Venus retrograde in Leo urges us to engage in introspection and reconsider our personal relationships, creative pursuits, and values. It may unearth unresolved issues from the past that require our attention for us to move forward confidently.
🍂 Venus Turns Direct on September 3rd: As Venus finally turns direct on September 3rd, a shift occurs from this period of introspection to outward expression. This transition is an opportune moment to implement the changes and insights gained during the introspective phase. Take a moment to reflect: Have your relationships undergone profound transformations during this introspective journey?
🍂 Jupiter Retrograde in Taurus (September 4th - December 30th): From September 4th through December 30th, we embark on a four-month journey of Jupiter retrograde in Taurus. This unique period invites us to slow down and take stock of our lives. It's an ideal time to evaluate our growth, explore material opportunities, and indulge in life's sensory pleasures. Jupiter's amplifying influence is at play here, magnifying our experiences, especially in Taurus, a sign deeply connected to the physical world.
🍂 New Moon in Virgo on September 14th: The New Moon in Virgo on September 14th holds a special significance. Supported by the alignment of three powerful planets – Uranus, Jupiter, and Pluto – this New Moon empowers any intentions we set and seeds we plant. It's akin to having the wind at our back and the universe aligning with our goals. When we align our intentions with the qualities of Virgo, such as practicality and attention to detail, we set the stage for proactive, positive, and productive outcomes.
🍂 Mercury Goes Direct in Virgo on September 15th: On September 15th, Mercury, the planet of communication, ends its retrograde journey in Virgo. This transition marks a favorable time for implementing practical changes, organizing our lives, and enhancing daily routines. It's also an ideal period for refining communication in both personal and professional relationships, ensuring clarity and understanding.
🍂 Libra Season Starts on September 23rd: With the commencement of Libra season on September 23rd, we are encouraged to embrace adaptability, balance, refinement, and an appreciation for harmony in our lives. During this period, we may find ourselves drawn to seeking the finer things in life and placing significance on friendships and partnerships. Our desire to connect and maintain harmony with those around us becomes more pronounced.
🍂 Full Moon in Aries on September 29th: The Full Moon in Aries on September 29th marks the culmination of events and intentions that were set during the New Moon on March 21st, which was positioned right at the beginning of a new season. Aries, known for its pioneering and risk-taking nature, encourages us to reflect on bold moves and significant changes made in areas such as relationships, career, or other major life aspects. This is also an opportunity to acknowledge our successes and learn from any setbacks or mistakes, allowing us to emerge wiser and more experienced. In the backdrop of the Sun's presence in Libra and Mars ruling the Full Moon, finding equilibrium in our relationships becomes essential. It's a time to release connections that no longer serve our personal growth or to seek a middle ground for mutual benefit. Balancing our individual needs with the dynamics of our relationships is a key theme during this period of reflection and adjustment.

What a difference a day makes. Today’s quadruple conjunction should be of interest for anyone making an amulet or a sigil that is positively charged, one that brings in more of what you want.
It’s also a great day for a party to give an uplift to the energies. I am having a cocktail party as the mood is celebratory and expansive in spite of all the turbulence and negativity going on that potentially can pull you down. Fatigue may have been a serious problem too, flattening you down, but it is time to replenish the store from a higher source- this is where I think of waterfalls that never stop flowing. Just think about that.
Not only is the Sun conjunct Jupiter at 28° of Taurus, which is an annual expansion of life purpose and big ideas, but Venus is conjunct Uranus at 23° Taurus. All this is ruled by Venus so the focus is on values, money, beauty, art and social cohesion and it might bring in a few blessings, it might not, it’s the attitude that matters whether you have money in the bank or not. Just be careful not to overdo whatever you are doing. Excess may indeed lead to the palace of wisdom but we still have to get up the next morning.
Bear in mind that that day after this double conjunction on the 19th May, Mars conjuncts the North Node, so there is no resting on your laurels from the previous day. This is a different kind of focus, sharply pointing to where you need to take action on your goals.
On the 23rd May coming up we have a Sagittarius full Moon, a flower moon, conjunct the fixed star Yed Prior which is connected to astrology. The Moon is at 02° of Sag and the Sun is at 02° of Gemini. The opposition of shallow and deep knowledge. Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius is still in Taurus ruled by Venus and there’s a beautiful conjunction of Venus and Jupiter on this day. Two benefics knocking heads together can't be all bad.
Neptune is now in the final stages of Pisces conjunct the Part of Fortune. 29° is the critical degree. It’s a culmination. So take care to asborb the lessons of Pisces, its spiritualisation of the ordinary hold on reality. It would be good to reflect on all the mind melting we’ve been through over the last 12 years that Neptune has sailed through the deep waters of Pisces. It has played with reality like a piece of plasticine, and here is the fullest expression of all that for the next few months, until Neptune moves into Aries in 2026, but it is sextile to the Venus/Jupiter conjunction bringing in the more positive glimmers of understanding. You may get the weirdest insights here. Venus and Jupiter combining could be to do with an influx of money, but it is also about truth, justice and a rooting of values into your life.
But the mood to day- on the 18th- is best represented by something Marcel Proust once said. Or so it is told where quotes are attributed to different people in different versions but float out into the chattosphere and take on a life of their own. Most people remember it as “The Real voyage of discovery is not in seeing new sights, but in seeing with new eyes.”
But the source lines of what he actually said in Volume 5 of ‘Remembrance of Things Past’ is more to do with getting back in touch with the artistry of such people as Elstir (he meant Claude Monet, or Gustave Moreau) and Vinteuil (Debussy).
“The only true voyage of discovery, the only fountain of Eternal Youth, would be not to visit strange lands but to possess other eyes, to behold the universe through the eyes of another, of a hundred others, to behold the hundred universes that each of them beholds…”
Because there is travelling physically and travelling mentally, and if your third eye is open then you can go anywhere you like at any time you want and it can help you reconnect to your artistic goals. What art would you like to create? Even simple things can be a mode of creation, just by doing it differently.
But also, since it is all about perception, there could be a paradigm shift here as the realisations come in thick and fast and the mists of misconceptions and lies gradually evaporates and the truth that perhaps you were reluctant to see before now, emerges clearer than ever and you get your authentic moral compass back.
