do people ever fail the bar exam?

yes if u fail the bar u can retake it in feb they only give it twice a yr in feb & july. if u have a job lined up for after u take the bar but fail the bar in the majority of cases they will keep u on just as a law clerk until u pass the bar so u have someone supervising u instead of u being a junior attorney. so not the end of the world but def frustrating to have to keep doing bar prep for 7 more months & take it again but ur law school will usually help u w guidance on that & everything i only say usually bc i assume law schools generally do that but i only know for sure that mine does obvs lol.
