Tee hee I'm a dummy, cw in the tags for like, mention of injuries and blood n such (it's not life threatening tho just a cut on my finger)
#gonna ramble for the first little bit so you have to click read more in case someone doesnt wanna see this#okay i think you have to click the keep reading thingy by now#okay so#in ceramics im working with cardboard and an exacto knife#already a bad start#for the past uhhh few weeks ive been working with an ///extremely/// dull blade#im talking i could try and cut myself with it and itd do nothing#(oh wait shit that sounds self harmy it wasnt meant to i meant that innocently)#anyways finally bought some new blades and i get it in and its like holy shit#i dont have to jam it through the cardboard fifteen times to get a mark on the other side#its so much easier to cut the shapes i need now#anyways#like i said with the old blade i couldnt cut myself if i tried#but with this one i flipped it around and sliced my finger so badly it bled for half and hour#and bled so hard i had to put two bandaids on top of each other and it still almost bled through both#and i came home and showed it to my mom cause we like bragging about our War Wounds™ and shes like???#i wonder if that needs stitches?????#like what?????????#my whole like ive been under the impression you only need stitches if youve been fatally stabbed or smth#not scratched with an exacto knife#(okay this is admittedly a bit more than a scratch but yknow#its the principle of it)#also its so dumb too#i deal with huge sharp knives constantly and other dangerous things like red hot metal and uhh#stuff i cant think of rn bc im tired#but anyways#this is what is my downfall?#a new blade?#how shameful#edit: oh also dw ive already cleaned it n such and its not dangerous or anything ajsj
