I had an idea. Could you do a crossover thingy where Aizawa has a daughter and she goes missing and he comes in the next day looking worse than normal and then the broadcast gets sent out and Aizawa sees his daughter in it and he gets either happy she’s alive or sad because she’s in a war?
This is s great idea! I’ve never written a parent fic before, so this is quite a challenge. Hope it came out okay!

“Aizawa-sensei’s been sleeping a lot more than usual, have you noticed Iida-kun?” Midoriya looks at his classmate expectantly as they make their way to the dining hall.
It was true, their rugged teacher had been sleeping in class a lot more lately. He had barely greeted his class before the yellow sleeping bag made its appearance.
“I’m sure its nothing, Deku,” Ochako chimes in, “This is the first time in a while he’s taught a full class. Besides, you know who he has to deal with.“
Midoriya chuckles as his friend gestures to Kaminari, Bakugo and Kirishima - they didn’t mean to be, but they were one of the main sources of trouble in class 1-A.
“Yeah, you’re probably right.”
                                                         --------
Back kick. Block. Jump, kick, dodge. Bend the knees, feet to the floor. Breathe, start again.
The thick material of your scarf is tight around your palms as you dodge attack after attack. You hold your hand out and erase the enemy’s quirk, before landing a swift chop to the neck. Another one down. You handcuff them as fast as you can before dodging a beam of light. It just catches you ear, the scent of burnt hair becoming more intense as you roll to the side.
A stakeout operation gone wrong. A local gang that turned out to be something much bigger. You were fighting a war that had nearly run its course, and this mission was meant to be one of the last. That was, until your stakeout partner revealed she was working for the other team, a double agent.
That left you in this mess. You wished your dad was there with you right now, but he wasn’t. He’d taught you to cope on your own, you told yourself. You’d manage.
Smack!
                                                       -------
Three days. No text, no call, no you. Shouta had waited in the living room all night, sipping coffee to stay awake. It had been three days since you walked out the door with a great big smile on your face, saying goodbye as you left for work.
Ten years ago, the seemingly heartless man had taken you into his care after saving you from your burning orphanage. The hero saw himself in you, especially since your quirks were so similar. He trained you himself, teaching how to use the capture rope alongside your fists.
You had enrolled in Shiketsu High, in order to separate yourself from your dad, and started your work studies with a mid-ranked but successful pro in your second year.
Shouta was extremely proud of you, and made sure you knew it every single day.
But it was unlike you to stay out for days at a time without contact. The first night wasn’t so bad - maybe she’s at the bar with friends, I’ll see her in the morning, he thought to himself.
You weren’t there in the morning. He put it down to you staying over a friend’s house - he was up pretty early after all, so you’d be home later.
Nope. Nothing. He continued to make excuses up for you all night, and all the way into the morning too, only grabbing an hour’s sleep before leaving for work.
When he came home to an empty house for the third day in a row, he started to panic for real. Texted you every hour, on the hour. Called a couple of times. Called your workplace, to no avail.
6:30 on the clock. Shouta chugged the rest of his coffee and slung his work bag over his shoulder as he noted it was day four now. Work was going to be a long one.
                                                        ------
Your ears rang as your former partner delivered another slap to your face.
“This would be over so much quicker if you told me where the boss is being held hostage, Y/N. You’re making this so hard for yourself!”
“Go to hell.”
Wack!
A scream held back in your throat, your teeth grind together as you fight through the pain. The edges of your vision began to go black, and you almost considered telling the gang everything.
                                                        ------
Shouta’s thumb was over the send button when he heard your name on the local news.
Y/N Aizawa missing in action. Something about a fight against a gang, an ambush they said. No other details could be released for citizen safety.
The hero didn’t even realise he’d slid off the couch to kneel in front of the TV. Missing in action. He rested his forehead on the box, his hair sticking to the screen due to static.
Missing. You were missing.
His legs carried him to the agency you worked with. His voice demanded to see your boss, begged for the details of your whereabouts.
They wouldn’t tell him. “We cannot release details to the public, its for her safety as well as theirs,” your boss told him.
Shouta argued that he wasn’t the public, that he was a hero like you.
“There’s nothing more we can do, I’m afraid.”
                                                       -------
The ropes had begun to bite into your wrists as you hung from the ceiling. After deciding the initial interrogation was obsolete, the gang had taken you to a new building and strung you up. Your feet could almost touch the floor, but had given up trying to get free an hour ago. Possibly. You didn’t know how long you’d been there. You were sure you’d stayed awake, but even blinking felt like it took days in that dark room.
You strained your ears from information.
Move........found.....kill her.......risk? No......stupid.....
There wasn’t enough for you to piece together the crumbs of information. You were sure you were going to die at this point. So much potential, a great future ahead of you.
No, you can’t think like that! What would Dad do in this situation?
You couldn’t answer that one. Instead, you hummed a lullaby to yourself - your favourite that he used to sing to you if you’d had a nightmare. This entire situation was a bit of a nightmare, so you thought it was appropriate.
The door opened before you, the bright light bringing tears to your eyes.
                                                       -----
“She’s gotta be alright Shou, she’s tough! Besides, didn’t you go MIA all the time?”
Hizashi did his best to comfort his friend, handing him a small glass of whiskey, which Shouta drank in one. He slammed the glass to the table with a dull thud.
“That’s different Yamada. I knew where I was, and I was never gone for long. I don’t know where she is, and it’s been nearly a week.”
The blond runs his palm down his face, not wanting to admit the he feared the worst too.
“She’s a hero Shou, bad things happen. You know the dangers and she does too, she’s not dumb.”
“Another whiskey please.”
Hizashi refilled Shouta’s glass, and the liquid disappeared as quickly as he’d poured it.
“She’ll be okay Shou.”
                                                       ------
Your arms were freed of their painful restraints as your friends occupied the gang and, summoning as much strength as you could, dragged yourself to your feet, using your peer as a crutch. Your head turned to watch your team take on the four or five people that had taken you hostage, silently celebrating as you limped to the exit.
“Sorry we took so long Y/N, it took us a while to figure out where they’d taken ya!”
A tired chuckle escaped you as your co-worker apologised. “At least you’re here now.” Your response wasn’t completely a joke, but you couldn’t blame them. This gang was good at hiding.
“The whole operation is gonna be extended, thanks to the newbie. We had no idea she was a double agent- it’s gonna set us back to square one!”
Double agent. You scolded yourself for not catching on in time. “I’m sorry, I should have figured out sooner. Now the entire mission’s been compromised.”
Your peer sat you in the back of an ambulance that had come along with the police.
“Don’t beat yourself up silly! Even us pros didn’t know, there was no way a student could have guessed!”
The fight was over relatively quickly, thankfully. After the criminals were handed over to the police for interrogation, you were escorted back to the agency to be patched up, and report to the higher-ups.
                                                         ------
Eraser didn’t immediately jump up when the front door creaked open. He was a hundred miles away, trying to convince you to take a day off instead of going to work. You’d be home with him that way, smiling as you cooked your favourite meal in the kitchen. That smile... How badly he missed it.
He felt the couch sink next to him.
“Sorry I’m late Dad, I had one hell of a day at work!”
Dad? He snapped back to reality as the words sunk in. He looked to where the voice came from - his eyes traced it back to you. Covered in cuts and bruises, dark circles adorning your eyes, but you all the same.
“Y/N!” The dark haired man jumped up and lifted you into his arms. You giggled and squeezed him back, giddy with relief.
“Y/N Aizawa, you are grounded forever! What the hell happened to you?”
He set you down on the couch as you began to explain as much as you could, without giving away classified information.
“But I’m here now! I’ve got about a week to recover, because I wasn’t injured too badly, plus they did hold me in the recovery room for a day.”
“A week?” His shoulders slumped at the thought of you fighting. “They’re sending you back out there?”
“Yeah. The mission isn’t over yet, we have to dismantle them completely.”
Shouta ran a hand through his hair, and pinched the bridge of his nose. “Promise me you won’t go missing again.”
“I can’t. You of all people should know that.”
“Humour me.”
Breaking eye contact, you sighed, before looking back at your father and smiling as wide as you could. “I won’t go missing this time Dad. I promise.”
“Good.” Shouta patted your head before standing up and making a beeline for the kitchen. “You’re still grounded forever.”
“But Dad!”
“No buts!”
“Even if I make you some coffee? Maybe cook some yakitori?”
“I may reconsider,” he chuckled. You always knew your way to his heart.
He loved his daughter so damn much.

Poly!Erasermic x reader
I don’t own Eraserhead/Shouta Aizawa or Present Mic/Hizashi Yamada. They belong to Horikoshi Kohei.
This is comfort/fluff for Emme’s Mental Health collab. You can check it out here
TW: Depression, hospitals, guilting oneself, negative thoughts, ambulance ride, blood, colon prolapse, anxiety attack, panic attack.
 WC: 1,571
You were quietly playing your game in the living room when you heard your roommate cry out in pain from the bathroom. You paused your game and rushed to the bathroom to see your friend doubled over in pain. They had you check to see if their colon was coming out their butthole. You saw two little rings of fleshy tubing poking out from your friend’s anus. Your friend’s colon was prolapsing. You clutched your phone as you dialed the local fire department. You knew that they would have to be taken to the hospital. Your heart raced as you waited by the door for the fire truck to arrive in your front driveway. Your mind went blank before you thought to call your boyfriends who were currently on their nightly patrol. You would never typically call them when they were on duty but this was important and them coming to help you stay calm could be apart of their job, right?
You watched as the firefighters talked with your roommate and called an ambulance to take your roommate to the hospital. The ambulance arrived and you helped carried your roommate’s purse and small bag of some personal items that they had you gather while the firefighters talked with them to the ambulance. One of the firefighters offered to stay with you until a friend or family member arrived. You nodded in agreement and couple of the firefighters stayed behind to help you calm down while you texted your boyfriends about the situation at hand.  The paramedics got your friend on the gurney and rolled them into the back of the ambulance. You watched as the ambulance backed out of the driveway and took your friend to the hospital. You let yourself calm down but this was when the negative thoughts began to cycle through your mind.
‘You should’ve checked on them sooner. You are a horrible person for not checking on them sooner. They could’ve ruptured or injured themselves if you weren’t so immersed in your game. That game is stupid. You probably shouldn’t ever play it again.’ You thought to yourself. You were staring off at a singular point before one of the fire fighters snapped you out of your hundred-yard stare. You looked up at the firefighter who helped you back inside your house, let you get some water, and had you sit down. The firefighter kept you distracted by talking to you about stuff you liked while you waited for your boyfriends to arrive. Soon the firefighters got another call where they had to leave. They made sure that you were going to be ok before they left your apartment. You watched as the firefighters left in their engine with the lights on. When the engine was gone, you went onto auto-pilot, walked to your room, sat on your bed, and curled up under your favorite blanket. Your finally let yourself sob into your blanket as you were scared and alone. You felt horrible that you got too immersed in your game and didn’t go check on your roommate. You sobbed into your blanket before you heard your phone ringing. You could barely see the screen of your phone from your burry vision. You saw that Hizashi was calling through video chat so, you answered and you saw your boyfriend on the other side with a serious look of concern.
“Hey, baby girl.” You heard him speak. You responded by sobbing into the receiver. Hizashi let you sob for a moment before he continued to speak.
“I got your text. Eraser is already on the way to your house with some food. I’m coming too. Just hang in there and know that it’s not your fault.” He spoke. You nodded in agreement and he stayed on the phone with you until you heard a light tapping on your window. You looked over to see who it was. It was your other boyfriend at the window of your bedroom, holding a bag of take-out food.
“Shouta’s here, ‘Zashi. I’ll be ok.” You told him.
“Ok. I’m glad he got there. I’m a couple minutes from your house.” He spoke and hung up. You went over to the window and let him inside.
“Why did you go to my window instead of going to the door?” You asked.
“Using the front door is overrated.” He told you as he climbed through your window. You chuckled and closed your window. Aizawa set the food down on your desk and walked back over to you.
“Hey, Mic told me what happened. How are you doing?” He asked as he made you look at him.
“I’m not ok. I feel horrible. I feel like this whole situation is my fault. I was playing my game and my roommate was in the bathroom. I heard them grunting like they were having a bowel movement so I brushed it off thinking that they were ok. A few minutes later, they were crying out in pain so I shut off my game and went to go see what was wrong. They were having a colon prolapse… They had me call 9-1-1 and the firefighters came, then they called an ambulance, then a couple of the firefighters stayed back to make sure that I was ok even though I’m not. They had to leave because another case came up that they needed to go to.” You told him as you were breaking down crying and burying your face into his chest. He held you close and stroked your hair.
“There you go, Let it all out. I can tell you that you aren’t a horrible person and your roommate’s prolapse isn’t your fault. Don’t beat yourself up over this, alright? It’s not your fault.” He spoke as he rubbed your back in soothing circles. Aizawa guided you to your bed Soon your front door opened and Hizashi sounded out into the house. Aizawa guided you to your bed and sat on the bed and invited you to sit on his lap. You did so and he pulled a blanket over you. Soon your front door unlocked and opened. Hizashi came through your front door and locked the door behind him. He called out and searched for the two of you before walking to the bedroom and finding the two of you. Aizawa looked up and gestured for Hizashi to come in. The blonde sat on the bed and leaned in to hug you from behind. You looked back and smiled.
“Hi, Princess. We’re both here now, tell us what we can do for you.” He told you and rubbed your back. You took some deep breaths and relaxed into Aizawa’s chest. Hizashi moved to the side so he was in your field of vision. He cupped your cheek and kissed your forehead. You did a few more deep breaths before you noticed your stomach rumbling. Hizashi perked up and Aizawa smirked.
“How long has it been since you last ate, kitten?” He asked.
“Um… since this morning.” You responded. He kissed your head.
“You need to eat more often.” He told you as Hizashi retrived the bag of take- out food. Aizawa reached for the food so he could sort out the containers. “Eraser, you have your hands full with Y/n. I can sort the containers out.” Hizashi spoke. Aizawa sighed and rubbed your back as Hizashi sorted out the containers. You sat up a little better so you could feed yourself your favorite food that Aizawa got for you. Hizashi handed you two containers that had your favorite foods in them and gave Aizawa two containers as well. There was one box that was slightly larger that was left in the box.
“That’s for you, ‘Zashi. It’s a four piece of chicken tenders with fries.” Aizawa spoke. The blonde smiled and thanked his husband. The three of you ate in silence. You finished your food and set the empty containers on your desk before leaning back into Aizawa and wrapping the blanket tighter around your body. Aizawa and Hizashi soon finished their food as well and Hizashi gathered up all the food containers and washed them in the kitchen before coming back and cuddling the both of you and rubbing your back as you fell asleep on Aizawa’s chest. They both smiled and stayed with you the whole night.
The next morning, Hizashi made breakfast for the three of you. They stayed home from work to stay with you until your roommate came back from the hospital. They kept you occupied with watching movies and playing board games with you until someone was able to pick up your friend from the hospital and drive them home. You were relieved when you saw the car pull up in the driveway and your roommate hobble out of the car and make their way back inside with the help of your friend. You helped your friend get comfortable before saying goodbye to your boyfriends.
“Text us anytime you need something, ok?” Hizashi told you before kissing you on the head. You nodded and waved them off before going about the rest of your day.
The end.

All Right, All Might: Ch. 7
Word Count: 3,128
Rating: PG
Painting: Toshinori Yagi X FemOC
The UA Guidance Counselor, a quirk user with Pathokenesis, is shocked to find out her personal hero All Might is coming to be a teacher. The road they walk as a parallel starts to merge and there’s no telling what could happen. With the attack at the USJ over, what becomes of the friendship between Patho and All Might?
CHAPTER SEVEN: Don’t push your limits, Toshinori
“Hello miss, I’m Naomasa Tsukauchi,” he held out his hand to the woman, “its nice to meet you in person, Patho, but I wish it were under better circumstances.”
The woman shook his hand, “You… know of me?”
“Well of course I do, you’re a pro hero - not to mention Toshinori is my best friend.”
She blinked a few times, “Best friend— ah- listen, I don’t mean to be… but what about the kids?”
He nodded, “The rest of the force is heading over to the USJ now, but I wanted to ask you to accompany me to the USJ, I know you’re the guidance counselor. And I have some questions since you’re here.”
“Sure- sure of course Detective,” She blinked a few times again, walking with him to his cruiser and getting into the passenger seat - how could Toshinori have a best friend on the police force and not tell her?
He smiled warmly, trying to put her at ease, holding a hand to her arm, “Please, call me Tsukauchi.”
She nodded again, “What do you need to know, Tsukauchi?”
They started speeding toward the USJ campus, “How much do you know about what happened?”
“Not much, I was with Toshinori this morning- he was late to work, he — ah, he was…”
Tsukauchi gave a small smile, “I know about him, and One for All - you can talk freely with me, Keri.”
“O-oh,” she wet her lips and blushed, “He used too much of his strength, and Nezu had come into my office to give him a lecture. He was supposed to be at the USJ earlier… when I went wandering around wasting time I went out for a walk and that’s when young Tenya Ida ran up and alerted me to the situation. I didn’t get much out of him it all happened too fast.” Turning her head she saw a few ambulances rush by, eyebrows knitting together in panic.
“I wanted you to accompany me to bring some comfort to the kids.”
“Of course,” She watched as another ambulance sped by, “Do you know anything yet?”
“Not yet.”
She nodded, wringing her hands together, trying to compose herself.
The car skidded up to the USJ and both adults got out of the car. Keri ran over to where the kids had been gathered, her forehead and body already glowing, “Are you all alright!?” She called out.
“Miss Chairo!” Ochaco gasped, “Y-yeah we’re mostly all okay—“
“Where’s Tenya?” She said softly. Ochaco pointed, he looked to be fine, he was talking to Tsukauchi at the moment she sighed, “I’m the one who found Tenya first, I wanted to know he made it back here alright with the teachers.”
Keri made her rounds with the students, giving them all supportive touches and kind words — well, all except to Katsuki who she told he did a great job instead. But she could tell even he was shaken up, he didn’t use his usual insults.
Tsukauchi finally came over with the list of students, going over each one, “Everyone seems to be here, and uninjured.”
“What about Mister Aizawa?!” The girl named Tsu jumped forward.
“And Thirteen!?” Mina, stood forward to ask as well.
“And Deku!?”
“Yes— Midoriya—“ Ida chimed in.
Keri looked up at Tsukauchi, wanting to know the answers as well.
“Aizawa is in the hospital now, no brain damage apparent, but his bones in his arms are splintered and one of his eye-sockets is also shattered… we don’t know how his vision will heal in his recovery. As for Thirteen - apart from some lacerations on her back, she’ll make a full recovery,” the detective paused a moment, “Oh— Izuku, he is in Recovery Girl’s office, that should be all the care he needs, and he’ll be good as new.”
“What about All Might?” Keri’s voice cooed gently.
Tsukauchi smiled a little, “He’s in the nurses office as well, he’ll be fine.” The kids all breathed a sigh of relief, “Now, I’m going to head to the main campus, I want to speak with All Might — Patho, can you handle everything here?”
She nodded, “Of course, Tsukauchi.” Turning to all of the kids she gave a small smile, “Come on, lets all get back on the bus and head back to the school, I’m sure you’re all exhausted and ready to call it a day…”
—————
Toshinori clutched his fist and smiled, “Mark my words, these kids are going to be GREAT heroes...”
Deku beamed, wiping his eyes on his arm, he was about to say something else to the detective, until…
“Toshi!?” A woman’s voice, full of concern rang through the doorway as it almost burst open. Tears streamed down her face as she stood there looking in at her coworker covered in bandages, she was finally able at the end of this long day to come and see him. She had been so worried- even though she knew he was alright. She had been distracted with taking charge of the kids and the end of the school day to seek him out yet.
Recovery Girl looked up, “Keri—! Come now-  there’s no need to burst in here like that! Keep your voice down please,” She sighed, shaking her head. She knew she would be seeing Patho sooner or later, All Might was here, and injured after all.
There was no stopping her, she rushed to his bedside and under the surprised glances of the three others in the room, Keri sobbed as she collapsed by the side of him, crying in his lap, “Oh Toshinori— thank god you’re okay!! I was so worried!”
For a moment he was floored- no one had ever acted like this for him before. He felt the familiar nagging feeling bubble up in his chest as he gently pulled up her chin, ‘Hey.. hey… come here,” He helped her to her feet and wrapped his arms around her crying form. She was so warm, so kind, so concerned- just for him. With her, he could always find a reason to smile, “Hey now...” he lifted her chin once more and wiped tears from her cheek with his other hand, “What’s with the waterworks now, Ree? This old man’s just fine...”
She looked at him with a trembling lip, “I-I’m sorry I— Tsukauchi said you were here and you were injured... I got here as soon as I possibly could!”
“It’s okay, it’s okay Keri I promise.” He pulled her into another hug, “I’m alright, I’m right here. You can’t get rid of me that easy.”
Recovery Girl cleared her throat, Tsukauchi turned to speak to her in the other room, but Deku, who was bed-bound for the time being, watched as the two people he trusted most, embraced. His eyebrows knitted for a moment as he realized that All Might was gingerly stroking her hair and whispering in her ear. As the two adults shared in this intimate moment, he realized that their bond was more than friendship.
All Might, his mentor, whether he knew it or not- loved the woman in his arms.
Izuku’s highly logical skills of observation had finally put the pieces together. All Might kept insisting they were friends. Yet, he always had his hands on her, or his body tilted toward her. She knew everything about him, they were often together. They ate lunch together during break. Whenever his phone rang, and it was her, he grinned. He always remembered to bring her little snacks she liked to school. These were all the behaviors of a devoted boyfriend in Izuku’s mind.
The boy stared at Patho and All Might as they continued to embrace. He hummed gently and looked out the window, had they been secretly together all this time?
“Ree... I know you’re worried, but shouldn’t you be consoling the kids? They need it more than I do—“
She shook her head, “I’ve been substituting for Aizawa for the rest of the day, helping the kids and getting them set to change and get some food and get home. I told Nezu I’m going to start their counseling tomorrow, besides I— I couldn’t focus anymore on anything without seeing you Toshi.”
All Might blushed fiercely and he pushed her hair back, “I don’t deserve how much you care...”
Keri frowned, “You deserve it more than most. Besides... you’re my— best friend.” Izuku noticed there was a hesitation in her voice— she had to love All Might.
Sighing he smiled in defeat and wiped her cheeks again, “You’re my best friend too, but I’m gonna need you to pull it together okay? Young Midoriya shouldn’t see his guidance counselor crying.” He smirked, deflecting.
Blushing she swatted All Might’s hands away as she wiped her face and went over to Deku’s bed, “How are you doing, Izuku?? I’m so so happy you’re alright.” She smiled and Deku immediately felt a calming warmth over him.
“Im okay Miss Chairo, promise.”  He gave a sleepy smile, “Don’t worry about us, we’re heroes! Right, All Might??”
“That’s right, young Midoriya!” He grinned.
Patho let out an exasperated sigh and stroked Deku’s hair back, “You two are going to give me a nervous breakdown, you know that? You’ve been doing it for months now, and with your track record, it will probably get worse.”
The three of them laughed and carried on for a while longer before Patho was told she needed to let Deku get some rest so he could go home in a bit. She kissed Izuku on the top of his head and as she left, he saw her and All Might brush fingers.
Patho spoke quietly to Recovery Girl and then left with Tsukauchi.
All might watched her leave before laying back down with a grunt.
——
Tsukauchi looked over to her once they were outside, and he took a deep breath, “So… how long have you been in love with Toshinori?”
Her cheeks flushed a bright red, her body glowing pink instantly as she looked up, “Tsukauchi—! W-we just met— That’s a really forward question!”
He shrugged, “He’s my best friend, and he’s never talked to me to a woman before you. I see the way you look at him and tend after him. He even talks about how you make sure he eats and sleeps regularly - and how you are trying to make him realize his weaker form is beautiful as it is…” He wet his lips, “Something is going on.”
“So what is this conversation exactly…? A dissuasion?”
He chuckled, “No of course not… Toshinori needs someone to make him take care of himself, and to care for him the way he cares for others… no matter what comes of you two, I’m thankful you’ve been looking out for our number one hero, Keri.”
She nodded and smiled, “I’ve been in love with him since the day I first saw him when I was six years old… but a lot of people love him.”
“You know… I didn’t expect such deflection from a therapist.” Tsukauchi smirked.
Keri rolled her eyes, blushing, “Fine. He asked me to dinner the second day we met, and he’s just… he’s so much more than All Might. Not that All Might isn’t amazing! But… Toshinori… he’s so,” she paused for a second and felt her throat tighten, “He’s warm, and he’s generous, and he believes in a better future. Even when he’s melancholy he still has a childlike wonder!  I even think it’s funny how much he loves American movies and TV…”
Tsukauchi smiled brighter, “Yep. He needs someone like you.”
Keri looked up and just smiled a little, “Don’t say anything to Toshi?”
“Don’t worry, I’m not a tattletale.” He laughed and sighed, “He’ll probably be coming down soon, maybe he’ll need a calming presence when he does.” He winked and walked off toward his car with a wave, “Take care Keri.”
“Bye, Tsukauchi! Take care!” She waved and took a deep breath, pushing her long hair back, looking up to where the recovery office was before taking a seat on the front steps of the school.
——
Deku looked over and bit his lip, “All Might?” When he looked over, Deku cleared his throat, “Um... are you and.... Miss Chairo- dating?”
“Huh?!” The pro shot back up, “No— no? No! No...” he exhausted tones of voice before blushing and coughing up some blood, “She’s my friend! That’s all, young Modoriya. She’s a really, really good friend.”
He swallowed, “Oh… well okay, it’s just, you two are always together, and when you aren’t you’re always in contact. And you... introduced me to her before the entry exam…”
“BECAUSE SHE’S A GREAT ALLY IZUKU.” His cheeks were redder.
“No I know she is! She’s a great person! When we talk she’s always kind and helpful. I just.... the way you are together, and how she knows your secret, and about me… I just thought maybe it was a secret relationship?”
He pushed his hair back, “A-ah yes, well— No- no we’re friends! Besides I’m old enough to be her father so that’s just… ridiculous.” He laughed it off.
“All Might?” Recovery Girl came back into the room, “You should be healed enough to head home and rest- Izuku, it’ll be a couple more hours for your legs, dear.”
Toshinori nodded and slowly got out of bed, giving a manly thumbs up to Deku before he returned it with a smile. He took a deep breath, all the students should be gone by now.
Walking out of the front door in his small might form, he looked up at the sunset in the sky, the echo of Midoriya’s words in his ears; are you and Miss Chairo dating? He had not been the first to ask him a question like that. Maybe… maybe there could be something.
“Hey,” A familiar female voice called out softly, “Taking a risk walking out here looking like that, huh?”
Toshinori turned abruptly and then smiled in surprise, “Hey, Ree. Can’t be helped, I got an empty tank… What are you doing here?”
“I stuck around in case you got released,” she blushed, “I needed to be with you.”
Without thinking, he crossed to her and pulled her close, a sigh of relief leaving his lips, “I need to be with you right now, too.” He whispered.
“Come home with me tonight, you need to sleep in a real bed instead of that horrible futon you own for some God forsaken reason. Besides, then I can make sure you’re actually taking care of yourself instead of eating junk food and overdoing it.” She huffed.
Grinning he took a moment to cherish this. Maybe... maybe he did sort of love her. Not sort of. He did. He loved her.
Keri buried her face into his small but firm chest. Her heart ached to be like this always. The strangest thing was that, after today, she was even more attracted to him when he was small might. His heroic qualities shined through his blue eyes, his voice was like rough silk, so unsure of himself and sure about everything at once, “Gonna answer me?”
Toshinori smiled, “I accept.”
——
The walk back to her apartment near campus was a quiet one. After a few blocks she cleared her throat, “Toshi… you know that you— can’t keep going like this.”
He knit his brows together and looked over, there was a pit in his stomach, “What? Going like what?”
“You’re not strong enough to keep jumping in front of everyone like this anymore! First this morning draining all your energy - then, God, Toshi, this afternoon?”
“Keri, come on now,” His tone was soft and he turned his body to face her.
“No! You have to listen to me!” She stopped on the sidewalk and her hands flew up to her eyes, she was desperately trying to hide her tears from him, rub them away, she’d already cried too much today, “Your heart has never faltered, never, not once! You are good, and kind, and honest, and true- but your body, Toshi, your body is faltering!” She let out a choked sob, “I can’t lose you!” She blurted out.
“Hey, hey—“ he swiftly came to her and wrapped his bandaged limbs around her, holding her close, he felt terribly that he was causing her so much pain. This reminded him exactly why he never got married or into a committed relationship. Stroking her hair she cried into his baggy shirt, his own eyes pricked with tears as she began to glow pink. He could feel her sorrow, “Please- please, baby, don’t cry...” he cooed softly. The pet name failing to reach either person’s brain, “I’m just fine... I promise..”
“THIS time,” she looked up at him, cheeks red, long hair sticking to her tear stained face, “THIS time you’re fine! What about next time! Or, or the time after that!”
All Might took a deep breath, “Listen to me Keri. Please? I need to do what I’m meant to do. You need to understand that, you need to. To /know/ that I /need/ to be this,” Pushing her hair aside he caught her chin to tilt her to look at him, “I was like Midoriya,” he admitted, “I was born without a quirk. And eventually the power I passed down /will/ leave me. And I /will/ be a quirkless, scrawny, old man. You gotta understand, I /gotta/ be All Might for as long as I’m able to be. I have to protect those kids, I have to protect Japan, I have to protect you, Keri. Until Izuku is ready,” He took a shaky breath, “Do you understand?”
The light of the setting sun danced across his features. He looked like a towering sunflower in the wind. She thought about what she had admitted to his friend Tsukauchi. She couldn’t be selfish enough to try to derail his life’s passion for her feelings. Taking her own shaking breath she nodded, “I understand.”
“Things will be different one day,” he started, “And when they are— when they are we can talk about it then.” He picked up her hand and kissed the back of it tenderly.
Keri wasn’t sure what that meant, but it was enough. She gave him a nod and took his large hand in her own, holding it to her cheek, a thumb came to brush a tear from her cheek. Turning into his touch she kissed his palm, “Come on, let’s go home, I’ll cook something for you.”
“Home. That sounds, really nice.” When she pulled his hand from her face, he held firm to her hand as they continued the final few blocks to her apartment, lacing their fingers together.

♡As two steamy mugs of coffee rest on the kitchen table… The atmosphere was full of despair, and loneliness as Toshinori sat at his kitchen table alone… The only sounds echoing in his home was the ceiling fan creaking, and his mournful tears hitting the tabletop… Without thinking, he had made your cup of coffee along with his… But you never came to grab it… Nor would you ever again…
As Toshinori sit’s at his kitchen table alone, he closes his eyes to imagine your smile, but all he see’s is a lifeless body…
“Smash!!”
He had made it just in time to save both you and young Bakugou. Smashing through the villains hideout, All Might was quick to defend both you and his student.
“You both must’ve been scared, but you stayed strong! You’re safe now young man… and woman.” All might looked you in the eyes, his expression full of joy to see that you were unharmed.
He knew why both you and Bakugou were kidnapped, The League thought they could bring Bakugou on their side… and they kidnapped you knowing very well you were romantically involved with him… All Might’s expression dulled for a moment, you could see it. He was blaming himself for you being captured.
Shaking your head as he continued to look you in the eyes, you smiled at him allowing him to know you didn’t blame him for any of this.
With a thumbs up, All Might proceeded to do what he does best.
“Your League can no longer run from us! It’s over, so tell us where he is hiding.”
Just when All Might thought everything was going smoothly, portals began to appear out of no where. Nomu’s after Nomu were coming forth from the portals, and soon… Both you and young Bakugou vanished.
“No!!!” All Might roared, he had just found you, and you were once again gone.
It didn’t take long, thirty seconds and All Might was able to find where you and Bakugou were taken. His young student seemed to be fine, but you… you were sprawled out unconscious under All For One’s foot. All Might had planned to hit All For One, but with you under his foot… There was nothing he could.
“Ah, All Might. So you’ve finally showed up, it took you long enough. You’ve gotten weaker.” All For One kept his foot on your back.
“You’re one to talk, All For One!”
All For One lunged at All Might, and in the meantime Bakugou was able to make it to safety with the help of his friends…
Steadily, your senses were coming back to you. You could feel the ground shake beneath you, hear All Might’s grunts, and the smell of debris…
Weeping his name, “Toshi…” All Might could hear you regain consciousness.
“____!!” Striking All For One in the stomach to give him time, All Might shot down to your side coughing up blood in doing so, but All For One was stronger in this moment…
Using his force-able quirk activation, All For One pierced through your back. He is saying something callous and cruel but you can’t hear it over your scream.
“Let her go!!!” All might had his fist out ready to smash All For One’s face in…
Lifting you from the ground with his quirk, All For One tosses you like a rag doll at All Might… The sound of ripping flesh fills the air as All For One impales through your heart with his quirk…
Everything has gone silent.
Catching you in his arms… All Might hears nothing… His body numb…
First it was Nana, his beloved teacher… And now… It was you, his lover…
Even though you are in his arms, he can’t feel you there… This isn’t real…
“It’s a shame really, she could have lived such a peaceful life, but instead she got caught up with you, Toshinori. She was still quite young too. Pity.”
All Might could hear the smile in All For One’s tone… Quivering, All Might realized he had no time to grieve… He needed to take care of All For One, before anyone else was killed…
It was over, finally…
No longer caring about the camera’s being on him, using his last bit of strength, Toshinori embraces you for the last time saying his final goodbye….
“_____, you should never have gotten dragged into this… But you told me you would be okay, and that-” Toshinori choked on his words, “that nothing would stop you from being with me…” he tightened his grip on you, “You were my biggest supporter, and my one and only love…”
Cradling you in his arms, Toshinori pulls back so he can close your eyes…
“Rest easy my love…” Kissing the top of you head, Toshinori tries to smile, knowing well that you would want to see it… “I know you’ll keep a close eye on me…”
As the world watches, they mourn with him…
Sitting at the kitchen table alone, Toshinori lifts his head to where you usually would sit. He can see you sitting there with a crisp morning smile on your face…

“Hey~! This is ____! Sorry i can’t answer the phone right now, i pinky promise, as soon as i have time i’ll call you back! Have a nice day… erm or night! Don’t forget to smile!~”
Aizawa dialed your number again…
“Hey~! This is ____! Sorry i can’t answer the phone right now! I pinky promise, as soon as i have time i’ll call you back! Have a nice day… erm or night! Don’t forget to smile!~”
Tightening his grip on his cellphone, Aizawa remembers everything… If only it were him, and not you…
It was a peaceful day, you were sitting at the park, the breeze blowing through your hair as you tuck a piece behind your ear. You were so at peace, looking down at your hand you see the stunning engagement ring… It was only days ago when Shouta had finally asked you. It was out of the blue, and trust be told you never saw it coming.
With a winsome smile, you lift yourself up from the bench and make your way home gracefully. You couldn’t wait for tonight, it was your two year anniversary and you both had so much to celebrate! Humming to yourself, you were so lost in thought that you hadn’t realized someone, and something were watching you from afar…
Entering yours and Aizawa’s home you are forced further inside as a strong push knocks you inside.
“What are you doing Shouta-” Fear struck your very core… Your arm was pressed against your chest, your heart began to palpitate, it felt as if it was trying to escape your chest…
Pain roars through your body the minute the behemoth Nomu grips your head and slams you down onto the floor.
“Well… You aren’t who i was looking for… but i guess you’ll do since he isn’t here…”
Your vision was a blur, your head throbbing, despite feeling numb you could feel the warmth of your blood seep through your broken scalp… All you could see was was a dark figure with light colored hair… there was something covering his face but you couldn’t tell what…
With an impact so large, you cough up blood as the Nomu strikes down on your stomach, over and over… Till finally… Your vision starts to darken… You can no longer feel anything, not even the warmth of your blood that forms a puddle under your body… Before the final blow, you look to your hand and see the once brilliant engagement ring covered in gore… You can’t help but to think what a beautiful family you both could’ve created… And as the artificial human drives through you with it’s sharp nails, your eyes start to close…
‘Shouta… I’ll be… waiting for you… i-… i love yo-…’
As the pulsation in your heart comes to a leisurely finish… Your fingers loosen while you lay in your pool of blood, lifeless.
Aizawa wasn’t far from home, he was only a few blocks away. Lifting his head to the sound of sirens, Aizawa notices an ambulance, a firetruck, and cops making their way towards where he lived… There was this moment of panic, a bunch of what if’s going through his mind, but he knew it was foolish to think that way. No one could possibly know where he lives…
Turning the corner, Aizawa’s heartbeat ceases to exist for a second. They were at his home… Why?
There was no time to waste, he pushes past the crowd of people only to be stopped by the police.
“Eraserhead! We ask that you stay behind the yellow line! We are currently doing our best to figure out wha-”
“This is my home, so i suggest you stand down… officer.” Aizawa threatened him lowly so no one else could hear… Doing as threatened, the officer stepped to the side allowing Aizawa to enter his home…
‘___, marry me.’
Aizawa’s face went entirely white when he noticed your departed body… Covered in your blood, attempting to keep you warm, his cat was curled up next to your cold body…
Reaching you, his knees burned when he fell next to you and scrambled to lift you in his arms. Incoherent curses leaving his mouth, begging sobs that you would open your eyes… but no matter what he did or said… You weren’t going to respond…
Cradling you to him, Aizawa didn’t want to let go…
Reality sunk in… this will be his last time he gets to hold you, to tell you that he loves you and wants… wanted to start a family with you… How you and him were supposed to rub it in Ms. Joke’s face… But now… Instead of placing his ring on you at the alter… He’ll be placing you in a coffin…
“Hey~! This is ____! Sorry i can’t answer the phone right now, i pinky promise, as soon as i have time i’ll call you back! Have a nice day… erm or night! Don’t forget to smile! Byee~”
He missed your voice…
Sitting at your grave with his phone to his ear, a gust of wind shakes the small necklace around his neck… Grasping it, Aizawa holds yours engagement ring in place on the small chain around his neck…

Tumblr media
Tension spills down your spine and you can feel unfamiliar hands on your skin.
“Well look who finally decided to come home, ____-_____… or rather, future ____- Todoroki!”
You’re still unable to see whom has you in a firm hold, but through your ears you start to hear low crackling noise. Soon, your home is lit by blue flames that dance around you and your captor…
Tripping you backwards, your captor slams you forcefully down on your back, giving you full access to see his face. It’s him, the one who’s skin is held together by surgical staples… Dabi.
“Wh-what do you want from me, and how do you know who i-”
“Oh i know everything about you,_____.”
You writhe against the floor, your back bowing and all ability to think is shattered when you feel the soft skin on your abdomen start to burn…
You could feel his hot breath on your ear, his body weight nearly suffocating you as he leans in. “I know that you’re deeply in love with the one and only Endeavor, and he too is smitten by you. It’s just too bad he can’t be here to witness the show, i thought i had better timing but it seems like i was wrong.”
Your screams tear up the dark of your throat, you can start to smell your burnt flesh…
“Pl-ple-please! I b-beg you! S-stop!!” Your nails bending and splitting from clawing at the hardwood floor, clarifying your desperation. “Pl-please i’m-”
“Shut up… That’s what’s going to make this so much more worse for him when he finds out.” Dabi’s teeth showed as he grinned down at your distressed body.
The grin would have identified him as enjoying this, but there was something in his tone… Like deep down… He didn’t want to do this, but felt the need to.
Your body is cold, damp with sweat, you can feel your warm blood escaping the wounds he has inflicted upon you.  It’s hard to breathe, you’re gasping for air with his hand curled around your neck… You can feel your life being drained…
You know this is it, and in your final moments… you think about the future you could’ve had…
As your final moment comes to an end… Dabi frees your throat from his grip…
Falling completely on his ass, Dabi holds his face while sitting next to your corpse… Releasing his face from his own hold, Dabi looks around to see his flames destroy what was once a happy home…
Standing, he wobbles back and forth before balancing himself. Taking one last good look at you, a frown sets in… before he vanishes from the scene…
As if on cue, Endeavor breaks down the front door rushing to your side. He could see the blue flames a mile away and knew he was needed.
“____! Idiot! How do you always get in the mix of thes-”
When Endeavor gathers you in his arms, he goes completely silent… He knows now where the smell of burnt flesh was coming from… Placing two of his large fingers to your singed throat, Endaevor’s eyes fasten shut, your pulse is barely even there…
Endeavor says nothing… He just holds you in his arms, rocking back and forth, one hand cradling your head and the other pressing hard against the small of your back…
Doing the right thing, he at least attempts to save your life by taking you to the hospital…
“I’m sorry Endeavor sir, unfortunately they both didn’t make it…”
Endeavor was confused, raising a brow, “What do you mean, they didn’t make it… It was only, _-” Endeavor placed a hand over his mouth, gasping in a grotesque sob.
“She was pregnant, and- Enji… I’m sorry. I thought you knew, we found out a month ago. I guess she was waiting for the right time to tell you.”
The doctor placed his hand on Endeavor’s shoulder only for it to be smacked away, “Don’t touch me.”
The doctor understood, reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a picture of the ultra sound. “Here… You can go in and see her, if you wish, but after… Go home Enji and get some rest… Again, I’m sorry… She was a good person… and she seemed to have made you happy…”
Grabbing the picture, Endeavor leaves.
Walking up to your grave, Fuyumi by his side, Enji places your favorite flowers next to your beautifully carved headstone…
“Dad… I know she wasn’t my mother or anything… and she was quite young, but… I still was looking forward to her being apart of our family…” Fuyumi placed her hand on her fathers shoulder, comforting him the best she knew how…
With one of his hands in his jacket clutching onto the ultra sound picture, “Me too.” A single tear rolls down his cheek and past his stubble…
In the distance, Dabi watched as Enji and Fuyumi both grieved.
“Why am i so caught up in this… She was going to say she’s engaged to him… nothing more… nothing less…”
Thinking back to your last words, “Please! I’m-” Dabi turns on his heels and walks away, hoping he didn’t make a immense mistake…

Inventor/Support Midoriya Au
I thought of this whilst rewatching Bnha: Two Heroes movie and honestly have been wondering if I should write an actual fic so for now this is my half balked story idea
Everything is the same initionally, Midoriya is quirkless, Bakugou treats him like shit, so on so fourth but instead of being all down about it Midoriya realizes he can be a hero to heroes and begins thinking of becoming a support person who can make support gear
So like he’s working hard to learn where the best schools are and comes across I-Island’s academy deciding that’s the top school he wants to get into
By some turn of events he has to turn in some big project or design of project to be enrolled at I-Island’s academy but something big happens before given the chance
Out on some supply run, Midoriya runs across Bakugou and of course little Bakugou is being an ass by saying that being support is lame and that Midoriya is a waste of air and space and yada yada yada, loads of more mean things
Then somehow, for some reason, a villain comes to kidnap Bakugou ‘cause the villain has seen the angry dandelion’s quirk and thought “I could totally use this kid to get shit” or something along those lines. This Bakugou is being kidnapped
However, Midoriya is there in shock because “Holy smokes Kacchan is being kidnapped right before me and can’t do anything! What do I do? What do I do?” And in panic he rushes the villain (who is like already running off ‘cause Bakugou made such a commotion screaming and exploding air) with th supplies still in hand but beginning to craft some type of weapon
So before the villain can escape in the massive street crowds Midoriya jumps the guy attacking with the make shift hammer. Now he is straight up hitting the villain’s head hard, yelling out to release Bakugou and making as much noise in general to grab an adult’s attention or, more hopefully, a hero’s attention because he’s small and knows that and knows he can’t do much in this fight
Villain starts getting annoyed because “Why the fuck is this kid so annoying?” and decides to use their quirk on Midoriya to get rid of our cinnamon baby. Now what type of quirk the villain has is unsure but the damage caused by it is Midoriya loosing most of his right in the left eye, loosing his right arm from elbow below, and a large ass scar from his thigh to his calf covering most of his right leg
Heroes finally arrive rescuing Bakugou and arresting the villain. An ambulance is called that takes Midoriya to a hospital but Bakugou can’t get out of his shock because when being kidnapped his lackeys has seen him being taken away by force and had done nothing whilst quirkless deku had not only run after but created noise and even got critically damaged to same Bakugou’s life
This is where Bakugou kinda realizes how shitty of a person he’s been towards Midoriya and vows to not only protect the green idiot but also to help him in whatever needed
Due to the major injuries Midoriya misses the deadline for applications to I-Island. He’s devestated sure but he would do it again in a heartbeat ‘cause “That’s what a hero would do”.
In a twist of events though, David Shield sees this on the news and recognizes the name Midoriya Izuku. David had taken particular interest in Midoriya during initial applications and had had made Midoriya’s acceptance count on his project, no other person got anything like that
Seeing what happened David sets out to Japan with Melissa to meet the kid. Upon entering the room Midoriya is talking to Bakugou about some new hero with Bakugou listening but eyes closed. David heroes it all and instantly knows he wants the kid at the academy
Skip to years later. Midoriya has been accepted to I-Island’s prestigious academy where he lives with his mom in the city. He is one of the top students alongside Melissa and had created gear that suits heroes of all kids but specializes in breakdowns of any subject
Him and Bakugou had become good friend sober the years despite Midoriya leaving a year after the villain incident. Every day they FaceTime and talk for hours until one or the other falls asleep (usually it’s Midoriya that knocks out first)
During his stay at I-Island Midoriya go the chance to meet All Might so due to this encounter All Might already sees the hero material in Midoriya and had slowly convinced himself that Midoriya should take One for All but is hesitant to ask
I wanna incorporate that Midoriya makes the top hero’s items, suits, and support gear just ‘cause he’s such a fan boy and he has gone traveling with the Shield’s to places where the biggest name heroes are
Like he helped create a support gear for All Might when realizing he man gets tried more often or how he went to U.A. once and meet Togata and kinda became Togata’s personal support person, same with Bakugou
The way Midoriya gets to be at U.A. is by an internship or apprenticeship of sorts. I lean more towards him being taken in by Nedzu cause Nedzu has seen the kid in interviews and has seen all published and unpublished inventions that are beyond genius and holy shit the kid is quirkless on top of it all
Aizawa also takes a liking towards Midoriya and actually teachers him some fighting moves because Midoriya has asked nicely and added some food so how could he not?
At some point I do want some angst/hurt scene where something happens to Midoriya. I’m thinking some big villain (not AFO of LOV) wants Midoriya for their personal gain but realizes how stubborn he is so decided that “If I can’t have you then no one will” and ultimately attacks Midoriya’s weakest points
That rescue would be consistent of All Might, the Shield family, Big Three, Bakugou (out of stubbornness) and other heroes and police officers
My imagination of this scene is the place they’re entering is a trippy place with doors everywhere, some lead to walls whilst others lead to room full of random shit, stairs placed in random sections and just basically super weird that the heroes need to split up
Togata and Bakuhou are a pair together searching for anything whilst being super worried about Midoriya because they both know the idiot will surely get himself in trouble one way or another
Meanwhile All Might is fighting any villain that crosses his way without any mercy. Like this is the first time anyone has seen All Might extremely pissed off that most villain lackeys just run away or don’t even put up much of a fight
It ends with Tamaki or some other hero (preferably the former) finding Midoriya and rushing out of the trippy place to the ambulance outside due to how bad Midoriya conditions is
And I’m talking like, his prosthetic arm is gone with a few inches of that arm being taken off, he’s bleeding almost everywhere with bruises and cuts, his already fucked up left eye seems far worse and during medical testing it shows that his hearing is totally fucked (possible deaf?)
That’s all I’ve got but what do y’all think of this au? Should I write a fic or naw?
Update: I began writing it

[Fic] Fragments of Memories
Title: Fragments of Memories
Fandom: Boku no Hero Academia
Pairing: Erasermight l Allmight x Eraserhead / Yagi Toshinori x Aizawa Shouta
Warning:  This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events, locales, and incidents are either the products of the author’s imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.
Notes: I’m not a English speaker, and I tried to write this understandable enough for reading. This is my first time posting a fiction in English. I’ve waiting an invitation from AO3 and I hope I should get it soon, so I’ll post this story on that too.
I hope whoever reading this would enjoyed. And thank you for reading!
———————————————————————————————————–
Part 1: How we met and learned our names
Toshinori’s Memories
Yagi Toshinori had a bad habit. He liked to help around, to be useful. He liked to stand up for old people in a train or helped them across a street. Or sometimes, he guided  travelers getting to their destination. Maybe because he liked to hear people said ‘Thank you’ to him, made him feel alive and had a purpose for living. He wasn’t sure why but he just liked it.
Not only people he’d like to help, many times he picked up random stray animals, especially cats. Well, he picked up a puppy sometimes, but he had to put in a Dogs and Cats Adoption Center very quickly due to its noise, his landlord wouldn’t appreciate and might kick him out eventually.
So, cats were nice, quiet and observed. He tried to let them stay for a couple weeks before they were strong enough to put in the center. Yagi worked as a barista at a local cafe. He was lucky enough that the owner of the shop knew him for a long time and offered the job for him. It didn’t mean that he was bad or somewhat, just…his appearances.
Yagi Toshinori had been in a coma for months after got in a car crash accident 2 years ago. He had lost his weight as well as his muscles. Because of his abnormally height, he looked like a scary scarecrow with deep black eyes circle and sharp cheekbones. All that made him quitted his old job and his town.
The only thing that people knew he’s still alive was his eyes.
The bright blue eyes like blue sky in summer.
After struggling for months, he decided moving to Musutafu city, near Tokyo, by his old friend’s invitation. He was contented and happy, could pay his rent and had some money left for saving. Sometime, just sometime he might feed stray cats behind his apartment.
Today had been good so far for Toshinori. He woke up early, got in a surprisingly empty train, talked to decent customers and went home. He bought a bento, some tuna cans, a bottle of whole milk and water. When he walked passed a dark alley, he heard small noise.
Meow…meow…
Toshinori stopped, held his breath for a good minute just to make sure what he just heard. The tall man walked in a shadow where that little noise hid behind a big trash bin. Then, he saw a tiny black kitten with white spot on its chest and paws, very sparkle blue eyes staring back at him. The man kneeled down, reaching his right hand to the kitten.
“Hello, little guy.” Toshinori said softly. It sniffed little before started to lick his hand. The man laughed a bit, picking it up.
“Alright, looks like I have a kitten to save today!” the man stood up and began to continue his routine.
While he reached the corner of his apartment, he heard some bang noises and glass breaking. The tall man tried to look around and griped the little kitten in his hand more tight to his chest. Could be some fights with poor guys and mafia around here. It happened all the time, Toshinori had fasten his pace and finally reached his home safely.
“Home sweet home.” He said and put the cat on the carpet in the living room. His apartment had a good size, not too big yet not too small.
“Luckily, I do have milk for you.” Toshinori grab a bowl and poured the milk before handed to the cat. Toshinori sat down at a coffee table, watching this little fluffy black and white cat greedily licked the milk.
“What should I call you then…” He murmured, setting his bento and teared chopsticks, eating quietly beside the cat
‘Meow…meow…“ when it finished, the kitten hopped on Toshinori laps and settled to sleep. The man looked down and saw it already rolled into a ball.
“Umm…Maru, I think I should call you Maru.” Toshinori slightly patted at Maru’s ear. It purred with joy loudly.
Seemed like he had a good night indeed.
Bang!
Not likely, Toshinori suddenly woke up in the middle of the night. His eyes catched a digital number on a clock ‘4:34am’
“What the f…”
Bang!
That made him got up from the bed, and looked down from his window. He saw a shadow, like a man shape in the trash area. He saw it moved a bit before stayed still and red…red liquid began to spread. Toshinori looked again with his wide eyes before he could react, he was so sure that it was a human with blood laying down on the floor.
His blood ran cold before rushing to his living room and putting his jacket on. He smiled once he saw Maru slept soundly on a blanket he’d prepared for it on the sofa. Toshinori left his apartment and hurried to the back yard as a dumping area. The tall man carefully approached.
A man, with black hair covered all of his face, was laying on his stomach. Blood had spread like a small puddle. That made Toshinori almost screamed like a banshee, but he rushing kneeled beside the man.
“Hey! Are you okay, can you hear me?” Toshinori spoke as he rolled the man so that he could see the man’s face.
When Toshinori had a good look, he realized that the man’s still young or younger than him. The man’s face was so pale and his lips were almost blue. He had a big cut around his abdomen. Toshinori noticed something that look like a small plastic bag inside and…
Is that…cocaine?
“Fuck!” Toshinori couldn’t believe what he saw.
Is that…is that what I thought it would be?
“Don’t…don’t call an ambulance…or police… ” soft voice cut Toshinori’s mind. The tall man looked down with relief.
“You’re badly hurt and-”
“I know! Just…just put me somewhere so I can take it out and stitch it back” The man tried to sit up and had glared Toshinori with tired look, panting.
“Stitch it back!?”
“Get my bag, I’ll try to stand.” The younger man didn’t try to argue. He really meant what he said. Toshinori’s brain didn’t process fast enough, like a very slow turtle enjoyed the sun. What he could do was starring at the man struggled standing up. When he’s back to the reality, the man covered in blood stood up by his own. His long arm wrapped around his abdomen.
“Get the bag!” He snapped. Toshinori looked around and saw the black duffle bag near small bushed. He got the bag and said
“Let me carry you!”
“Wh-!!!”
Toshinori carried the man with his two arms. The man’s surprisingly light which made it easier to walk back to his apartment. The man was quiet and didn’t say anything else, only let out a soft panting, shaking and sweating.
Toshinori had to put him down in order to unlock the door. The man leaned against him and he heard more of panting. When they were inside, Toshinori put the man on the sofa where Maru was asleep.
“Meow!” the cat jumped by the suddenly disturbing. It ran and hid somewhere in the kitchen which Toshinori didn’t care much for right now.
“What should I do? Do you need a towel? Warm Water?” Toshinori’s panic. Of course he had to! There was a bloody man in his living room!!
“Sounds good…get all of that…p…please…” the man barely said this time, so much sweating on his forehead. Toshinori hurried to his bathroom.
Why he’s so damn calm!?
That was the actual sentence, screaming and tearing inside his head. Toshinori got everything he could think of (dry towel, a bucket of warm water, first aid kit!) and hurried back to the man. The man was panting more and more with his eyes closed.
“Hey! Stay with me.” Toshinori kneeled down in front of the man and patted him, trying to wake him up. The man opened his half lid eyes slowly.
“In…in the bag…there is a box…just…hand it to me.” the man said, trying to sit up. Toshinori looked inside the bag which he didn’t want to see much. He handed the box to him. The man looked in the blue eyes before broke the eyes contact. Toshinori saw he put something like a needle out and a thread.
“Use this to wipe the blood. Make sure I can see…that…” the man handed him packs of gauze. Toshinori knew exactly what to do. It made him more panick yet he didn’t show. His mind now was a tank of questions whlile he watched the man pulling out the plastic bag from his abdomen. The young man hissed and tried not to let out a sound.
Who is he? What’s he doing? Why he has THAT inside? Why he’s injured? What happened to him? Was he in the fight outside? Is he a citizen? Where he lives? Should I call police? Oh no, he said not. Or should I call his relatives instead?
What’s his name???
After awhile, Toshinori helped the man wipe all the blood and sweat with his towel and the gauze. The man did stitch himself with medical stuff in the bag. Looked like he knew what to do and he did it calmly with his shaking hands which made Toshinori’s heart beat faster every minute.
“S…Stop thinking, you’re distracting me.” The man spoke to him made his mind snapping to reality once more. The tall man bit hip lips.
“What happened to you?” he finally asked, tried to keep an eye on his task.
“No questions…not now…sorry…” the younger man answered which made Toshinori felt so small.
“Tell me about you…so I can stay conscious.” Toshinori’d glared for a good minute before coughing a little.
Damn it! I haven’t cough for two days! Why now!?
“Nothing to tell much, really. My name’s Yagi Toshinori and I’m a barista at a cafe.” Toshinori glared the tired eyes again. The man only hummed back to him. The wounds was closed now and looked clean enough before he wrapped bandages around his wound clumsily.
“Let me help.” Toshinori said and helped him. He’s extremely careful not to hurt the man.
“Thanks.” the man said with tired voice and his eyes almost closed. Toshinori loved to hear those words, but this time, he didn’t appreciate much like he used to.
“I would be cruel if I didn’t let you sleep here so I will-” not even finished the sentence, the younger man already shut his eyes. His breath was soft and his face’s still pale. Toshinori used a fresh towel wiped out all the sweat on his forehead.
“Alright…good night…”
There’s no way Toshinori would go back to sleep, so he decided that he had to watch the young man for good. Maru came back from the kitchen after Toshinori called it and slept on his laps. He apologized a little to the cat and patted its head. Toshinori looked up at the man’s face again. Time had passed, and somehow watching the younger man slept made Toshinori’s calmed down a little.
“What should I call you then?” he asked himself, not expected the answer. Yet as if the man had heard the question, he answered with soft yet firm voice.
“Ai…Aizawa Shouta…and thank you…by the way…” The bright blue eyes wided a little, then a slightly smile was on his lips.
“Aizawa-kun then.”
Toshinori didn’t know why, but he really wanted to help this person. He still smiled to himself.

Shouta’s Memories
Aizawa Shouta had a hobby, only one hobby. He liked taking pictures especially cats when he saw them no matter where or when. And most of the time, he didn’t care much what’s happening around him. It had been almost ten years now when he started it. Because he had a bad memory and memories lost after got into an accident, falling from a roof ten years ago. So, it was a logical solution that taking pictures was one of methods helping him remember and not to forget things.
Shouta couldn’t remember much of it, that accident, luckily enough only had a scar under his right eye. The doctor said it was normal for the head’s injury when his head hit hard at the ground. Although his normal knowledge, his skills and his job were still good, but people…he couldn’t remember faces and names well like before. Like he cared, he didn’t like people anyway.
He just moved in Musutafu city two months ago for a teaching job. Really, Him as a teacher! Couldn’t imagine it but it’s true. He’s a math and physics teacher at UA high school. Got recommendation from a friend, Kayama Nemuri, and she handed his resume without asking him.
‘It’s for the best Aizawa! You can’t do that shitty job all the time!’
She had said to him and he didn’t have enough energy to argue at that time. The shitty job she mentioned was a programmer job he used to work. It made him no time to eat, sleep or anything.
It had been a good day today. He finished grading papers a bit early and enjoyed watching the sunset at the school’s rooftop before walking home. On the way, he saw a gray cat sleeping on a tree, his phone ready in his hand taking many snapshots. While Shouta’s in his own mind, he bumped into a very tall man who walked pass and spilled his drink.
“Shit! I’m sorry.” Shouta apologized quickly. He looked up at the man and then…from nowhere… a warm nostalgic feeling stirred in his heart. A familiar low and soft voice spoke in his mind.
‘…Ya-…at a cafe…’
Shouta didn’t recognize that voice in his head, not surprise but somehow felt so familiar with the man’s messy blond hair and the bright blue eyes. It reminded him someone from his old memories he couldn’t recall.
“It’s ok, I’m-” the taller man looked up from the ground before glazing him for a while with his mouth slightly opened, wide eyes.
Had he known me? Had we met before?
“Sho…Aizawa-kun?” the tall man said with that exactly same low and soft voice. There were tears in his eyes as if he just found something precious to him. The taller man stepped closer but Shouta stepped back, caution.
The man looked sad with his reaction. Maybe this man did know him.
“Do we know each other?” Shouta asked with his cold voice, really didn’t mean to though.
“Wha-…don’t you… don’t you remember me?”
His brain did say ‘No, I don’t know you.’
But his mind…his mind quietly said…
‘Aizawa-kun then…’
“I’m… I’m not sure…” Shouta broke the eye’s contact and looked down with shame. He still had problems with memories lost.
“Oh…maybe I…sorry, I thought you were a friend I haven’t seen in ten years. Sorry about that.” Toshinori explained before gave a sorry look and began to leave.
A soft wind blew after watching the taller man turned his back. Shouta suddenly said
“Wait! What’s your name?”
The blond man turned back. His face’s full of hope, had a big smile and his blue eyes somehow were brighter than before. Shouta felt like he’s in sunflowers garden with a clear blue sky above.
“Yagi…Yagi Toshinori”
“Yagi-san then…”
Shouta didn’t know why, but he really wanted to get to know this person. And before he noticed, a small smile was already on his lips.
To be continue…
