What is this insane movie you're blogging about? I really want to know more!!
it's called imperium augustus / augustus the first emperor (depending on where you look) !!! it's. really bad. like it's Not A Good Movie At All. but it's captivated me body and soul to be quite honest. there's a dual narrative between augustus' later years (just after agrippa's death) and his rise to power :D a lot of the choices they make with it are. hmm. and the acting is Questionable, but I think its portrayal of agrippa + maecenas and their relationship to octavian is probably one of the more interesting ones in live action !! it does fall into a lot of tired tropes with people like livia and some bits of it are just utterly ridiculous but. yeah :] still worth a watch imo. also maecenas gives octavian a little kissy on the lips
