Learning for Justice illustration for Southern Poverty Law Center magazine. The feature was about how community organising can help students in general, but in particular, immigrant students. The article talked about various had successfully implemented this approach and the client wished to reference the architecture particular to one of these communities, that of Mott Haven. Initially the commission was for an opening full page spread and 2 spot illustrations but due to time restraints the job was trimmed to just the opener.
