The Jolly Corner: Magically Granted Second chances are both a blessing and a curse. Something 14 year old Severus Snape comes to realize when he wakes from a nightmare on the train heading to Hogwarts. At least, he thought it was a nightmare. Plagued by a vicious shadow version of himself and armed with rapidly fading memories of a life not yet lived. This year is going worse than he expected.

In 1970 a breach in the department of mysteries saw ancient creatures called Death Eaters emerge from a portal known as "The Veil." In response the Ministry commissioned the construction of massive robots, Aurors, to combat the creatures.

1981 - Two Aurors, piloted by Lily Potter, Severus Snape and James Potter and Sirius Black, respectively, face off against a category3 Death eater code named, "Dark Lord" with disastrous results.

Years later Sirius and Severus are pulled from retirement for one last mission.
