1- how many books are too many books in a series?

oooooh idk, i have a friend who regularly reads those self published romance series with like 20 books in them, thats too much but i like the discworld books and there are like 40 of them bitches so??? it depends

2- what do you think about cliffhangers?

i can fuck with them, if i gotta wait til the next one comes out it will kill me tho :(

3- hardback or paperback?

i’m not bothered, a lot of my books are illegally downloaded from russian social media tho but the physical ones i own are mostly paperback, they’re cheaper but if its a series i really love i want the hardback

4- least favourite book?

i’ve read so much bad ya fiction so it would probably be one of those, idk if it qualifies as least favourite cuz i have no malice towards them, they’re just bad, matched by ally condie comes to mind

5- Love Triangle, yes or no?

i love the drama so sure but like as long as i’m confident that the ship i like is the one thats gonna happen, i like the idea of angst in that sense but not the follow through

6- the most recent book you just couldn’t finish

i’ve tried getting through the colour of magic like so many times, i just can’t do it i’m sorry world :(

like @obsessivelymoody who tagged me i’m reading six of crows but mine’s for the first time, i watched shadow and bone when it came out and really enjoyed it, i tried reading the shadow and bone book and alina is incredibly irritating in it i couldn’t finish it (applies to the last one)

i’m also rereading guards! guards! (lot of prachett in this), in the middle of rereading the narnia books, 27 boring books for university and probably more because i love to start books and not finish them! i always think i don’t read that much but like all this plus a steady diet of fic, damn

i think it was the selection that i recommended to my sister lol, most of my recs are to her, she didn’t read much when she was younger so she’s catching up of trashy ya now

like oldest written, probably like shakespeare if that counts?? probably othello thats a play tho so like pride and prejudice, then oldest physical book i’ve read, i own a lot of cookbooks from the 60s if that counts?

last book i read cover to cover was the lion the witch and the wardrobe in my narnia reread

i’m bad with favourites! again like obsessivelymoody, i’m a big riordan fan, i also love narnia so much so i have to say c.s lewis probs should also mention prachett and then neil gaiman there are others that i’m probably forgetting

both and neither (i’m a criminal) and i also avoid the library sometimes cuz i do struggle with returning things on time

i dunno tbh my tastes are pretty regular, i didn’t like red white a royal blue tho, it was dull af, i did read a sample of one last stop that enjoyed so might read that one day

every book i own is dogeared to shit and the spine is so cracked from me resting them face down. come to my house and fight me about it.

to all the boys i’ve loved before, pjo, the hunger games, narnia, most book i loved as a teen tbh

nope, well kinda i lose focus a lot

prefer one but not that fussed

18- do you read book in one sitting or in multiple days?

no better feeling than being like totally grabbed by a book and unable to put it down for hours and thinking of nothing else til its done but i don’t often have to time to do that and not all books grab me like that, they’re still good though

I rewatched the first episode and I can see exactly where I got upset the first time I tried years ago. It was the whole "ass burgers" thing. Which doesn't hurt half as much knowing that that implication actually goes somewhere meaningful :)

Hey so like I said before, I watched Community skipping the first season, because I was told it gets better in season 2, which yeah it did seem to. Thing is, now that I’m attached to some of the characters, the feeling of incompleteness is bothering me, and I might wanna give season 1 a try just to fill that in (also skipped the stop motion and puppet episodes because I’m very easily creeped out by uncanny valley stuff, can’t change that really). Just wondering, if I did that, how much mean stuff would I have to put up with? Because that was my original problem when I watched the first episode, characters were too mean. Especially ableist language used towards Abed. I love him very much. Any comments would be appreciated
