I miss it—the peaceful simplicity of those moments when you look into someone's eyes and know, without words, that you love each other. It feels warm, like home, enveloping you in a sense of calm. In those instances, everything aligns perfectly, and all feels right with the world. I long to experience that peace again someday.

The Heart Of An Athlete

My whole life I grew up playing sports. Although I tried multiple sports throughout my life there was only one that I had a passion for. I used to eat, breathe, and sleep softball. I love to watch it whether it is on YouTube, television, or even in person.  I have been playing softball since I was 4 years old. I did rec league, travel ball, and high school ball. There was not a weekend where I could go hang out with friends because I was always at the ball field. I always contemplated playing at a higher level because I felt like I would not get the full college experience that I wanted. Although I do not play softball anymore does not mean I do not still have a passion for the sport.
