I did have a bit of trouble figuring out how to design a convincing human disguise for Thio since he doesn't have SKIN, but eventually I figured it out

finally was able to go get an x-ray of my cat who had an accident last week when it ran out of the house for 20 minutes when the door was left open by my father . i didnt say anything about it on here because i didnt think it was this serious but turns out he has a broken leg bone in a very ugly place to operate and a broken pelvis in 3 separate spots. the pelvis can heal on its own but the leg needs to be operated on in the next 3 weeks or it will have to be amputated. the cost of it will be around 1500-2000 zł [380-500 USD]. if my father finds out how much this will cost he will just kill the cat he wont allow neither me nor my mom to help him because it would be wasting money in his opinion. he already didnt allow help for my dog who died out of old age this summer and when it did finally die he wouldnt let me get it cremated and instead burried it in the garden because its cheaper .

i will make a more coherent post with photo proof when imhome and will link my ko-fi and commission prices and paypal if anyone would be willing to help us i would be so thankful. i know its christmas time and not everyone has the money for donations now but if anyone decides to help rhank you thank you so much. im aware this is a lot to ask for.

Few takeaways from the camera recording of Super Mario Bros. Movie. Spoilers ahead.

Charles Martinet is not only in the movie, has a classic Mario outfit, but compliments the accent Mario and Luigi do in their commercial, and then never again for the rest of the movie. This is jarring. Their first words are in the accented voice. This comes across as a "hey, look at this silly voice" which comes across entirely ad a dig at the original Mario voice.

The movie could have been done without Luigi entirely, he serves almost no purpose whatsoever, and arguably the plot could have been done without Mario considering how effective Peach was at handling conflict. This is not a bad thing imhom

Donkey Kong is a joke. Moving on.

The references and music and beauty of the world is really neat and doesn't bother trying to explain any of it while not asking questions of any of it. Great choice

Despite a sequence of platforming before Mushroom Kingdom, Mario just sucks at it, until magically he doesn't.

The Blue Shell sequence was so jarring because he just screamed it and then blew himself up on Mario and DK. Was not expecting suicide bombing.

Bowser is evil in ways you wouldn't expect. Weirdly well written villain.

You almost forget how bad Mario, Luigi, and Donkey Kong's voices are until they come back on camera because everyone is actually acting instead of just talking. The rest of the cast feel like they not only care but put actual effort into the job.

The imprisoned Luma was perfectly haunting, because hearing the most cryptic waxing philosophical statements come from the voice of a probably 5-6 year old child was golden.

The pacing is a bit off as they tried to mash a lot in the movie so there are parts where you're like wow thats a lot of Mario things happening, and then it just doesn't happen again for another half hour.

A solid what THIRD of the budget must have been on pop songs. I'm not even kidding. There is so much (semi)contemporary pop in this movie it is absurd.

The movie is unfortunately pretty good, but the unbelievably bad voice acting from 3 of the lead characters just pulls it back so much. It is a fun, light, silly movie, that has some good nostalgia and original content, but just falls short with the execution due to choices.
