I don't post much these days, but I'm still lifting and grinding along. Kinda. Been redoing the crossfit open workouts (not a lot of improvement on those, sadly) and today was 18.5. (tape on my thumbs was for the thrusters) those 7 mins ruined me. But then I decided to do clean and jerks because, even though I didn't feel right, I wanted to have a bit of fun with it. This was #1 of 2 singles at 115lbs. I also kind of sort of hit 125 after, but the jerk would not have been meet legal. (And no, I did NOT need to make this a squat clean, but I need to practice dropping under the bar. A lot.) I then proceeded to do a 10 min AMRAP of KB stuff (including kb burpee deadlifts. These SUCK hard). And some jump rope in prevision of hitting 18.3 again - and hoping beyond hope i can get a pull-up unassisted? Eh. Anyway, it was a mistake. I am completely useless now xD But at least I look a bit like I lift, despite my fat ass.
