Favorite thing about them

Oooh this one is hard... "Favorite" is a little too wide of a definition for this, so ill narrow it down to what hits the hardest for me, and that is most definitely, the "flawed mother" angle they were going for her.

Sona isnt perfect, as much as she wants to claim otherwise, she believes in ideologies that actively put Frisks friends in danger time and time again, and as shown, is even willing to act on them in the imperfect routes, but they still love and see the good in her, because thats what theyve grown up with their whole life, and for someone who has a mom in a pretty similar situation, that hit so fucking hard for me.

Sona... they could never make me hate you Sona...

Least favorite thing about them

I dont really understand the hair motif they were going for, it feels unnecessary, out of place, and compared to all the other powers she could have had in the concept art (Doll powers, omega form, ect) just feels... idk, boring to me? i just feel there was so much more potential for her.

Favorite line

"If you dont have determination, you have to fake it!" lives rent free in my mind. its the perfect way to show off one of her main ideologies, In Sonas mind, theres just simply no thing called weakness or imperfections, and anything that is lacking can be fixed right up like a doll, who cares if itll never be as genuine as the flawed and complex human being that they used to be?

Theres also the iconic "I only take the souls of children if they disobey me!" line, which i like for a lot less complex reasons. just, out of context funny lmao.

BrOTP

The possible relationships she can have with Dalv, and her relations to integrity are both very intriguing to me.

Like, for Dalv theres this whole thing with them that they are both flawed individuals who ran away from their problems in the past, but ended up with completely different outcomes (Dalv was ripped away from society, while Sona actively got herself involved in it) but also like?? for something fluffier, i like to imagine that Dalv is good with kids, and the idea of him running an orphanage with Sona is really cute to me.

And integrity... oughh, its seen both in the no romance endings and the perfect sans route of kc that Sona really cared for integrity (their ending having the most lore, only second to Justice because...well, uty reference, her giving them flowers in that one cg), So the idea of her in a uty scenario (cough cough kcy cough cough) finding out about what they did and their fate is a REALLY interesting angle to consider for me. so many thoughts, oh so many of them.

And then last but certainly not least, theres her and Chara which i feel like i dont talk about NEARLY enough but since this section is getting long, ill just end this off on that kc shouldve had more Sona and Chara interactions.

But since "Sona isnt just some random racist mom and her character goes so much deeper than that" isn't really a fun answer, im gonna say that i think we (and by we i mean like, the twelve people in the kissy cutie community) Really dont explore her Mexican origins enough. theres so many fun things you can do with it like the original game does-

Song i associate with them

The main two songs i associate with her are Suburbia by Will wood and the tape worms, and ruler of everything by tally hall.

Suburbia in particular feels like her trying to fit herself and eveyone into a "generic" standard, and the ar-15 part in particular feels like Chara speaking to her like "cultures not your friend" and "Culture is more afraid of you then you are of itself", making it a duet between the Siblings?? ouggh can you see the vision.

"And then he slipped!" Kibum says as he finishes his story, causing you all to laugh, while Minho tries to play it off while waving his hands around.

"I didn't slip, the floor was just slippery," He says, but laughing along. It was the evening of Taemin's birthday, and you had gathered together with Kibum, Minho and Jinki to celebrate his birthday, with Taemin and Jinki in a completely different company now, it became hard for everyone to spend time together like this.

"Keep saying that," Kibum says. You bring your hand towards your mouth and cover it while trying to suppress your laughing. Jinki quickly notices but doesn't say anything about it, not wanting to dampen the mood. “You should show them later,” You shake your head as you laugh, already imagining how he had slipped and his surprised face.

“One thing he couldn’t do,” You say between laughter. “It finally proved he’s at least human!” Those words caused everyone to laugh louder, even Minho himself, everyone knew how good he was at everything and was basically superhuman with all the things he did. “I was really starting to think you’re from another planet, Minho.”

“I’m glad I managed to prove to you that I’m not,” He says with a huge smile on his face. You lower your hand as your laughter dies down. “But it won’t happen again, I’ll make sure of that,” He picks up his glass and takes a sip.

“Excuse me,” You say as you stand from the chair. “I’ll be right back, just have to use the bathroom,” Taemin reaches up for your hand and gently squeezes it.

“Don’t take too long, otherwise we’ll need to start a search party for you,” Minho says, which makes you chuckle and shake your head before releasing Taemin’s hand and making your way to the bathroom, Jinki leans forward and clears his throat.

“Tae, have you noticed how they keep covering their mouth when they laugh?” Jinki asks. Taemin glances back towards where you had disappeared before looking at Jinki fully.

“I… I haven’t…” He slowly says as he goes through his mind, and finding that each time he saw you laughing, your hand was always covering your mouth. “I haven’t, I didn’t even realise…”

“I picked it up too,” Kibum says as he picks up his glass. “Sometimes they use both hands also,” Taemin could feel his heart rate picking up, how had his friends noticed it and he hadn’t?

“I think I even heard them trying to suppress it,” Minho says. “Like they don’t want to laugh too loud, do you think something happened?” He suddenly felt all eyes on him. “You didn’t accidentally say something?”

“No!” Taemin was quick to say. “No, gosh no, I wouldn’t, I love hearing them and their voice…” He lowers his gaze to the table in front of him. “I can’t believe I haven’t noticed before…” His vision becomes blurry as he begins thinking and going through all of his memories with you, hoping he could find at least one where you weren’t covering your mouth or suppressing your laughter, but nothing.

“And back, did I miss anything?” You ask as you sit down in your spot right next to Taemin, they shake their heads, and you gently smile at them. “Okay, that’s good,” You lean forward and pick up your utensils to pick up a piece of food. “I wouldn’t want to miss any more funny stories about Minho showing us that he can be human,” You place the food in your mouth and begin chewing.

“If you want more, I have plenty more to tell,” Kibum says as he puts his glass down. “I have all the stories about him that are going to make you laugh,” You nod your head, ready to listen to what he has to tell you.

“Wait, no, no, why me, why have I become the joke of the night?” Minho asks, even though he has a smile on his face. “I’m sure you have some funny stories about yourself too, why don’t you tell us about it?” He was looking right at you, you nod your head as you chew and put your utensils down.

“All right, all right,” You say. “You’ve put me on the spot now and now everything from my memory’s disappeared,” You lean back in your chair and place your hands on top of your thighs. "Okay, so when I was little my family and I would go to this one place for vacation, and one evening when we had all calmed down and were lying in bed, I looked up and saw a bat flying around," A few hums went around the table. "And I, as casual as possible said; 'hey dudes, here's a bat inside the room' which caused my dad to fly up from the bed, practically yelling 'Where?'" They begin laughing, and you cover your mouth as you remember the moment as it happened. “He was so scared of them.”

“I can’t believe you said it so casually while knowing he’s scared of them,” Minho says between laughter. You hadn’t noticed that Taemin was paying a little more attention to you, noticing how you covered your mouth and how you tried to stop your laughter and keep it quiet, you were holding yourself back from fully laughing, and he wanted to know why. “What happened next, did you get it out?”

You step into the apartment, quickly being greeted by Kkoong and Daeng at the door meowing loudly at you both, you take your shoes off and pick up Kkoong and make your way further into the house with Taemin behind you with Daeng in his arms.

“We missed you both too,” You say as you sit down on the couch and place Kkoong onto your lap, only for her to jump off and wait for Taemin to sit down next to you. “Voicing loudly how much you missed us only to abandon me when I sit you down on my lap, oh, I’m hurt Kkoongie,” You lay your head back against the couch and release a dramatic sigh causing Taemin to chuckle. “So mean…” He releases Daeng as he begins wiggling in his arms.

“I have a question,” He says as he turns his body to yours and props his elbow against the back of the couch. “You don’t have to answer it if you’re not ready to discuss it yet…” You nod your head slowly.

“Well, ask first, and then I’ll tell you if I want to talk about it or not,” You say. You could see him pressing his fingers together before he took in a slow deep breath.

“While we were out tonight, and laughing and enjoying ourselves, I couldn’t help but notice…” He trails off, trying to find the right words and not make them sound harsh or even like an insult. “Or more Jinki noticed, that you kept covering your mouth and toning yourself down,” You bite the inside of your cheeks as you realise what his question would be. “Do you want to talk about it?” You lift your foot from the floor and place it underneath your thigh.

“Well… there isn’t much to talk about it,” You say as you move your gaze to the floor. “One evening I was laughing from my stomach, too loud, portably sounded obnoxious, and then I got told to shut up and not laugh so loud,” He could see your shoulders slump and the corner of your mouth turning downward. “And ever since I just tried to keep myself from laughing too loud by using my hand to muffle it, and forcing myself not to keep laughing so it doesn’t get too loud,” You lift your head and turn it towards him, and he could see the sadness in your eyes and the attempt at a smile told him enough. “Was it too loud tonight?” His eyes widen at your question, he wasn’t expecting you to ask that.

“What, no, no, no, it wasn’t,” He quickly says. “I want you to laugh as loud as you can, to show me that you’re enjoying yourself, I want you to laugh from the depths of your stomach,” You move your hands onto your lap and begin fiddling with your fingers. “Don’t cover your mouth… I like hearing you,” He reaches down for your hands and places his on top of yours. “In all kinds of ways, but I want you to laugh from your stomach, laugh so hard that tears stream down your face, I want you to enjoy yourself fully and be yourself around me,” He gently squeezes your hands before pulling them apart and interlacing his fingers with yours.

“I… I can try,” You whisper. You had spent all your time trying to lower your tone and muffle your laughter, you would have to unlearn everything you had taught yourself. “I can try,” He squeezes your hands and moves closer to you. “It’s just going to be hard to unlearn that habit…”

“I’ll help you, I’ll try my best, but I want to hear you, loud and clear,” He says. He leans forward and releases one of your hands and moves his hand to the back of your neck and pulls you closer to him. “Let’s start with unlearning that nasty habit,” Your brows furrow in confusion but your eyes insanity shut as his lips make contact with yours, the confusion completely melts away as your lips move with his. You move your hand to his thigh and lean more into the kiss and his hand slides higher and to the back of your head, he pulls on your other hand and moves it to his waist before releasing your hand and wrapping his arm around your waist, he leans back and slowly pulls you with him and on top of him, his hand slides down your back and over the curve of your ass before pausing and squeezing it, causing you to moan into his mouth, he pulls back from the kiss leaving you both breathing hard. “Hmm, like that, but louder, much louder.”

Deep Learning Season 26 Episode 4 Thoughts

-I think the only important thing about this episode was this.

-Okay but in all seriousness, this episode was actually really good imo. We got Creek background scenes, more Bebe, more Stan, more of Clyde (being stupid) along with Wendy and Mr. Garrison. This episode was just filled with my favorite characters.

-I don't really have any opinion on Stendy, I think they're okay and I think they're better off as friends but I was actually hoping this would be a Stendy episode, which it was.

-I'm so confused though. I know they're only in what, fourth or fifth grade, they're just dumb kids, but why are Clyde and Stan so instinct on being with Bebe and Wendy if they don't even want to talk to them. Like look at Creek and then look at Stendy and Clybe. In that last picture, Craig and Tweek are actually talking to each other while for the majority of this episode, Clyde and Stan only communicated with their girlfriends with that dumb AI bot. Like don't get me wrong, Clyde and Stan are two of my favorite characters but... like... WHY?? (Also I'm not trying to start a ship war or anything by comparing Creek with Stendy and Clybe, I'm just sharing an observation)

-Also for everyone who's ever thought that Stan and Clyde would be friends because of Wendy and Bebe, this was your episode.

-Out of this four ships that are possible with those four characters, I'd rank my preferences with Bendy first, then Clybe, then Styde, then Stendy.

- MR. GARRISON!! OMG you guys do not know how much I love him. He's literally such a bad person but I still love him. Also he's still together with Rick, aww isn't that nice?? (let's just ignore the fact that Rick was just as bad as a boyfriend as Stan was)

-That whole montage with Stan and Wendy was hilarious but my favorite scene had to be this one

He's really out here doing the bare minimum (also if I didn't love Steek so much, I would totally make this my pfp)

-But just imagine if Clyde leaves Craig's gang now after he's seen interacting with Stan. Now Craig's gang is just... Craig and Tweek lol. Losers. I guess maybe Kevin can start hanging with them.

-Anyway, I'm still waiting on that Tweek episode. We did good with the amount of background scenes Tweek had but I'm going to need more than that.

Yo, what's up? Saw my friends doing this, and I decided I might as well make one.

I'm Onyx. I'm a rock/steel type gym leader located in the Galar region. You may recognize me from the Galar gym challenge a couple of years back. But I'm just here to post about my life and what it's like being a gym leader.

I was born and raised in Unova, but my family and I moved to Galar when was 13, which is also the time I started my journey. Rivals and friends were @quillpokebiology and @pokedesignercalli, as well as my other best friend who is a bit secretive and doesn't plan on getting a Rotomblr. When I'm not doing my gym duties, I work in coding and help tutor young kids on math.

As a gym leader, I have to have a lot of Pokemon to fit the skill level of the different trainers that come by. But still, here they are!

Journey Team

Atlas: Metagross

He was my starter, which I got as a Beldum. Found them wandering the city at night and decided to take them in since they didn't have a trainer. I know Metagross doesn't have a gender, but they don't really care what you refer to them as.

Obsidian: (Shiny) Gigalith

Caught him as a rogenrolla because he snuck into my camp, and it was the first wild shiny pokemon I saw.

Marble/Aggron

I found her while exploring a cave, and she was just a small Aron chewing on some random metals she found.

Jasper/Scizor

Found him in the wild and is the first pokemon I caught that was fully evolved. I'm not fully sure what happened to him, but my theory is that he was abandoned by his old trainer, since he doesn't like it when I'm gone for too long and gets really clingy when I come back.

Fenrir/(Midnight) Lycanroc

I found him as a rockruff in the Isle of Armor. He was really rowdy and aggressive, which really appealed to younger me back then. I didn't really know what to name him, so Quill did. They say it's from a myth, but I don't really understand it. Fenrir is also the pfp.

It seems I'll be staying here for a while, so I'll make a post presenting myself. I'm Marta, I come from another world and I'm trying to get back. I was in the middle of my, well, I guess you could consider it my job, when an explosion brought me to this place. I seem to be in a city called Mesagoza, in Paldea. I wish I knew what that means for my situation, but I didn't play the mainline games.

((Okay, now the lore. Marta comes from a world with superheroes and she is a death ripper. In that world there are a lot of them, but their role is closer to the one of SCP-4999 (Which I didn't know existed when I came up with the concept for the character, I barely knew anything about SCP at the time). This is basically a job, having to meet a minimum of deaths every month and getting into trouble if she doesn't. She appears in front of people 5 minutes before their deaths and helps them accept that fact (also, the classic no one else can see or hear your interactions with me). After they die, she has to make sure that the soul gets out of the body and disappears. She teleports to and from this events and is invulnerable during them (wouldn't last a lot if the death was triggered by any outside force). She also can kind of feel if people will die soon, but can't know the exact time. That extends to herself, so she can afford to be less careful than anyone else.

She has a scythe that she can summon anywhere and uses to take people's souls from their bodies if they exit naturally (It could have been anything, but she chose the scythe because it's the thing everyone imagines when thinking of death. She can technically take souls from people that haven't died yet, but the soul will enter the body after a couple of minutes. That is very painful for the victim).

She was seconds away from teleporting back to her house after the death of a civilian during a superhero battle when an explosion hit her and transported her to the pokemon world. Also, I have decide that rotomblr, being rotomblr, appears in her phone and, after she opens it accidentally, refuses to close until she makes an account.))

((She actually knows about the multiverse because some of her friends are heroes and they know because of lore reasons that will be explained if/when necessary. But the important part is that she doesn't know how to travel through it, so she can't make a machine or something to escape.))

Thank you!! I'm glad someone asked because I am always in the mood to infodump about my ocs. Fair warning, this may get long as I have a tendency to ramble when I'm passionate about something-

You were correct about their names. Namiko and Tamsin are both what I call "cave elves" which are essentially elves who have adapted over time to life in a dark environment, hence why they look like toothpaste incarnates. I intend to actually flesh out the species more later on as it's a little hard to explain when I don't know myself what the species consists of.

Namiko (she/her) is my main oc (hence the pfp) and I initially created her because my teacher assigned a character design projects for my art foundations class in 2022. This was my first drawing of her, actually:

Namiko doesn't have as much substance as other characters of mine but I do enjoy drawing her often because I imagine she has a very snarky personality and is a bit of a prank-fanatic. She's also the closest I have to a persona since I draw her so frequently, so she shares a couple traits of mine (and is most often featured in the obscure meme art I draw.) Small Namiko art dump:

Tamsin (she/xir) is more fleshed out than Namiko is. I created her on a whim because a friend of mine asked me what Namiko was and I found myself so tongue-tied that I decided to draw another character of her species in an attempt to find an answer. I made her 7 months after Namiko and she started out a little rough, and I removed eye number 7 later on.

Tamsin is basically a mom friend. Very considerate and often worries about her friends, albeit being a little basic (she would definitely frequent Starbucks, just look at her). She's got a lot of siblings so I envision xir to unintentionally baby her friends around or take time to explain things thoroughly like she would to a child. She definitely also advocates for being yourself, I can imagine her being reminiscent of a kind old woman who doesn't quite understand peoples' struggles but supports them nonetheless.

As for Namiko and Tamsin's relationship, I'd say they're probably more of the childhood friend type, kind of like a sisterly relationship. They tolerate one another, but they aren't super enthused to hang out as much since they grew apart as they got older. When they do hang out, most of their interactions include Tamsin being extremely anxious and reluctant because Namiko is about to do something stupid without any thought about the consequences. You didn't ask, but these fools also have two more friends that make up their friend group, Harlow and Vesper.

Harlow (they/them) is often viewed by others as childish due to their whopping height of 4'9", but they are actually decently mature and well-mannered. They adore reptiles, and have a still-unnamed pet snake who means the world to them (despite the fact that Tamsin, their best friend, is a little hesitant to befriend their pet). I have been working on a little project regarding Harlow and a friend of theirs, but I shan't spoil it for now so here's a tiny Harlow-sized dump:

Vesper (she/they) is probably the least-drawn and also the least fleshed out of the group, even compared to Namiko. Speaking of Namiko, the two are best friends and share a love for getting on peoples' nerves. Vesper doesn't have much of a filter, though. Namiko is the type to TP your house for the funnies, Vesper is the type to place a thumbtack on your seat for the funnies.

Some dynamics and side details about the group are all written out in a discord channel so I'll copy paste them:

Vesper and Tamsin are the type to get in arguments. Not very intense arguments, just Tamsin pulling the "Hey, stop that" card whenever Vesper tries something stupid, which is a lot. Tamsin has a few younger siblings, so she has a bit of the mom-friend personality. She's a very sarcastic type when it comes to Vesper.

Vesper and Harlow are basically that "he asked for no pickles" meme. She sees Harlow as a bit of the baby of the group, which causes them a little frustration, but I feel they'd be pretty open to each other. I could see them ranting to one another.

I always imagined Vesper would have a very honest way of speaking. She'd blurt something out and be brutally honest, which doesn't always work to her favor. Also, she definitely put way too much effort into learning how to solve Rubix cubes. I can imagine her being a speed cuber in her free time, but she keeps it to herself mostly. Tamsin would act like the teacher that makes kids say bye to inanimate objects and it pisses everyone off.

Tamsin tries to make baked goods like a kind grandma but none of xir friends have the heart to tell xir that they taste like dirt. Tamsin is also constantly on the verge of rage and hates taking care of kids but puts on a front because little kids love xir for some reason.

That's all, and I'm so so sorry that this post is a behemoth. I went on a tangent and honestly I don't think I even described the characters well, but I'm super honored that you like my art and here's a little doodle to end this ask!

Why did you choose your url?

I’ve been using the username Echoweaver, or Echo Weaver, for probably 20 years. At the dawn of the commercial Internet, I used Echo because I loved the Greek legend of Echo and Narcissus. That username quickly became impossible to get, so I stuck it together with the name of an online fiction club I was president of at that time, World Weavers.

I love it because you can take it so many different ways. Weaving a tapestry of echoes seems like a callout to roleplaying or writing fiction or other flights of the imagination :).

How long have you’ve been on Tumblr?

Buh. I looked this up for a different tag some point in the past. I burned out and dropped from Simdom for three years and then returned during the pandemic when I needed something to do other than read news. It was a good decision.

Do you have a queue tag?

I don’t know what a queue tag is either. I have a queue, and I try to usefully tag my posts. Does that count?

Why did you start your blog in the first place?

I’ve been blogging Sims 3 on-and-off since 2009. The Samples have literally been running since then. Ha! At some point I discovered that a lot of the Sims blogging had migrated to Tumblr so I checked it out. As you learn when I have a fit of the grumps, I’ve never really adapted to the format over here. But I like the people and the stories, so I try to adapt.

Why did you choose your icon/pfp?

My icon is my simself petting a turtle from my short-lived, long-hiatus Waypoint challenge, where my simself foundress was marooned on a desert island. I don’t have a turtle, but I thought the animation was so full of wonder and delight.

Why did you choose your header?

It’s a pic of sims being chaotic. I love that about sims. Even though I gravitate toward mostly-serious stories, I never want to lose the whimsy and absurdity that is Sims.

What’s your post with the most notes?

Definitely the post I made about how to optimize your TS3 game. I still get notifications of it being shared around.

How many mutuals do you have?

I deliberately don’t check. I feel pretty much the same as @anamoon63, which is that mutuals are people I interact with. In the last few months, I’ve been feeling like I’ve finally reached a point of RELATIONSHIPS here that rivals my heyday on WordPress. So.... maybe 10? If that includes you, thanks 🥰

How many followers do you have?

I hover around mid-200s. That’s not going to win me any awards, but I’ve had to stop following back and even trim some of my follows because I’ve hit my limit of what I can read. I basically think this is a phony number anyway. See question above.

How many people do you follow?

Somewhere in the low 200s, which is still a bonkers number. I read the folks I follow.

Probably half are pre-hiatus folks who don’t post anymore but who I want to hear from in case they do.

Have you ever made a shit post?

I spent a stupid amount of time pondering the answer to this, but I think no.

Did you have a fight/argument with another blog once?

I was going to say once, but I guess it’s been three times. Only one on Tumblr. The other two were on the official Sims 3 forum.

The first time, I fell in love with a Harry Potter world that someone else had created and posted to a thread on thesims3. The creator had since disappeared, and the Pets patch had broken the rabbithole rugs used in the world. I updated the rugs and posted the fix with credits to the creator, but the user WrittenReg accused me of plagiarism. It became a bit of a flamewar, and they recruited folks from some other thread to come harass me. I left, but I didn’t take down the updated world. The creator never came back, and folks continued to download mine until a DIFFERENT creator did a bigger update to the world and posted that. I’m not sure if that creator dealt with plagiarism accusations.

The second time was my fault and very brief. I joined a thread on thesims3 celebrating toddlers with an emphasis on pressuring the devs to add toddlers to TS4. I discovered that the ringleader of that thread was following staffers around on other media and posting complaints, and that hit a button for me. I said she was not a nice person and stalking staffers was bad and left. I got a warning from EA later. I’m not sure why I reacted SO strongly. What the ringleader was dong was rude but not nearly as rude as what Sims staffers deal with on a daily basis. She wasn’t doxxing anyone.

The third time was here. It was short but got under my fingernails in large part because it wasn’t about sims. I hooked up with a simsblogger I had followed in the WordPress world whose work I loved. We started chatting and had a brief honeymoon of mutual admiration. Then she started posting essays about gender. Now, if you have been following me for long enough, you might’ve learned that my spouse is a late-transitioning trans woman who came out (to me and herself) almost four years ago after 16 years of marriage. My LIFE has been gender for years. I’m taking notes for a book. I am a bisexual woman who was active in helping my wife discover and accept herself, and I was completely blindsided by how difficult it has been to adjust to her transformation. I have tried to be active in helping transitioning spouses find their voice and learn that they are not alone. One thing I say to sum up my experience is, “You may think gender is complicated, but it’s more complicated than that.” So... it turned out to be actually painful to read a series of essays by someone who reduced gender to high heels and lipstick and claimed that she was unaffected by gender because she grew up in an environment where femme appearance wasn’t valued. I tried to engage with her about my experience of how deep gender really goes, but she ignored me. So I finally commented something like, “You seem to be really attached to this story you’re telling about gender, but it’s not real. Since you’re not responding, this is the last time I’ll comment about this issue.” She unfollowed me and posted a big public essay about how she was coping with internet hate that was clearly about me. I ranted to my wife and posted a vague tumblr about staying away from the crazy, and I left it at that. But it has haunted me for a while. I thought I was being restrained, and though I may be being overly kind in my memory of what I commented, I actually put work into NOT making it accusatory. I guess social networking is what it is.

How do you feel about ‘you need to reblog this’ posts?

I don’t reblog anything that carries any kind of guilt trip to share.

Do you like tag games?

I do! It’s a way to get to know people in my community. I sometimes get overwhelmed by how many tag/ask games are circulating, and I have weird self-consciousness about tagging other folks.

Which of your mutuals do you think is Tumblr famous?

Probably berrysweetboutique, who I’m not going to actually tag because in this context it feels weird. Overall, though, I don’t pay that much attention.

Do you have a crush on a mutual?

Lol. If you  mean crush on someone’s CREATIVITY, then totally. I take myself fairly seriously as a writer, though I haven’t done much serious writing since my kid was born 11+ years ago. I use my sims game to build emergent stories from the gameplay, and I like it as a low-pressure way to keep my creative braincells from atrophy. But some of you folks tell AMAZING stories using this game. I try not to let it hit me in the self-esteem 😅.

This is a bit long... so I’ll just add the break not to bother people with my ramblings. 

1. Why did you choose your url? I created tumblr because of a fanfic, and I've been reading them since I was 11. And I will always love fanfic. Fanfic is the answer to all life's problems and bad canons. I can't imagine living in the world where I don't have fanfic to continue a world I love or to fix issues in a world that was promising, or just to wait until the next bit of canon came out. You have to imagine I started reading fanfic when there were only 2 Harry Potter books available and I was waiting for the translation of the third one (that came out end of 2000, and yes I was reading fics by then). So yeah... I wanted something related to fanfics, and I really am terrible about online identities. Probably should've used something more creative, but oh well. I like it well enough now, it is one that applies to all fandoms I love.

2. Any side-blogs? If you have them, name them and why you have them. Yes, I have @randomsideposts as my attempt to create a tag system and save my favorite posts. I failed. I also have @kenshin-and-maki for my cats, and a third unnamed one as sort of a journal/vent blog, for those times I just need to write stuff down and I don't want to keep things to myself. No one follows me and that's the way I like it. It's kind of dark.

3. How long have you been on tumblr? A year and a half only lol a baby by Tumblr standards.

4: Do you have a queue tag? Me? Organization? What? Jokes aside, I don't really like queueing stuff. I'm either here or I'm not. I'll schedule a post for a random future time, just so I don't forget the post, but a time I know I'll be online to interact with it/the reactions to it. I do that when (for example) Louis posts and I see posts that are not related to that that I'd like to reblog, but not right at that moment.

5. Why did you start your blog in the first place? Because of a cute Larry fic where Louis and Harry become mutuals without knowing they're the other one. I liked the dynamic they described of how Tumblr worked and I wanted to see if it really was like that, because my previous experiences with Tumblr were... confusing enough that I didn't stick around for more than 20 minutes.

6. Why did you choose your icon/pfp? It's Louis and Liam, who are definitely my favorites. Don't get me wrong, I love all the boys, but Liam and Louis (and their friendship) are just really special to me. And this pic is just... so cute. Also, @whatagreatproblemtohave and @evilovesyou demanded either me or @promisethatillnevertell change our profile picture, and that we should duel to see who would keep it because it was getting confusing lol (it was one of the outtakes of the House of Solo photoshoot). I would never fight Lou so I changed it. And I love it because it has my two boys 😁💕

7. Why did you choose your header? Because the livestream was so awesome and even if it's blurry i like it. Also, I never use the desktop version of Tumblr so it's probably a mess, but I like what I see on my mobile so it'll stay.

8. Whats your post with the most notes? Probably my Youtube comments about Louis? I know it has over 1k notes, which... wow.  Also, my little wistful post about keeping the livestream format after lockdown did ok too.

9. How many mutuals do you have? No clue, but I love them all.

13. How often do you use tumblr a day? No clue, dozens of times. I won't scroll too far down, just enough to distract me for a couple minutes while I'm waiting for something to load or if my brain needs a break from work.

I've argued before with a Liam blog at the end of the LP Show 2, but it was a misunderstanding, I didn't express myself the way I wanted to. Pretty sure a bunch of Liam blogs have me blocked because of it still. Other than that, I'm pretty peaceful, and I really try to just stay out of drama.

15. How do you feel about “you need to reblog” posts? I hate them. It is a passive aggressive way of someone thinking their opinion is better than yours, usually has a comment like "if you don't reblog you don't care about this" or "I don't care if it doesn't fit my blog asthetic, I'll reblog it anyway". Congrats? Do you want a star for it? I'll reblog it if I think it has important information, despite these annoying comments, but only once. If it's a post I've seen multiple times, then everyone saw it multiple times.

16. Do you like tag games? Love them, but recently I've been a bit lax. Once you start saving them in your drafts, it snowballs into unmanageable levels.

17. Do you like ask games? I love them, but whenever I reblog one I only get 1 or 2 asks. :(
