Kurama being physically vulnerable in his Shuichi form actually has nothing to do with his physique because that body he's using is already demon in nature after he turned 10.
It's all about his youki. His youki, before he lost much of its strength and downgraded from the level of an A class, could be transformed into an armor. It's just like Sensui's which both of them recognized as true even if Sensui's was stronger.
So in the Dark Tournament, Kurama with a much weaker youki was basically fighting naked. His original fighting style with a spiritually conjured ki armor was risky because he relied on its defense to tank out the damage. He was willing to take hits just to plan his strategy but that (very old demon) habit came from when he had better defenses with a stronger demonic energy. His white clothing as youko only failed against Sensui because of their difference in power level with Sensui being S class. Kurama in the the Dark Tournament with his A class ki armor could probably take a hit from Toguro's 100% because Toguro was only Upper B class when Kurama used to be A class.
In post canon, however, it's safe to assume that Kurama surpassed A class already because his awakened youki (after witnessing Yusuke's death and revival) that made him able to shapeshift at will became stronger than before his peak in his previous life. His ki amor could have gotten stronger too. In conclusion, Kurama post canon is gonna be more unhinged and reckless in his suicide strategies. 😅

nobody's doing it like itsuki yyh. i've been thinking about him and sensui a lot today but like. ok get this. imagine being a demon and this cute human guy (you are gay btw green hair and pronounsed and everything) shows up and tries to kill you and almost succeeds. you survive because you lament that you're gonna miss the finale of a show you watch/see a niche pop artist on tv (depending on adaptation, but either way these are your last words and it airs the next night), and he says he's into it too. you become partners. this man, shinobu sensui, is a spirit detective who's been haunted by demons his whole life, has been killing them with the complete, unwavering belief that he's right for it, since he was in pre-k. you being a demon does not seem to change how he thinks about this. it doesn't change your feelings either, since he fascinates you. you help him kill demons.
one day, your human is confronted with one of the worst sights imaginable, one that shatters his worldview completely. he sees demons being tortured and slaughtered hedonistically by a group of humans. he can't process it. he splits. your shinobu is now one of seven within his body. you love each of them. you love him. you watch as he pivots into a deep hatred of humanity, and of himself for slaughtering so many demons, and of his own inescapable humanity. you love it. you can't get enough of it. watching someone so pure and self-assured become confused, disillusioned, twisted, evil, broken, it thrills and captivates you. it's beautiful, and you egg it on. you make it worse, obsessively. you make him worse. you only want what he wants, really. but you want him to want it worse. sensui is spiraling and you don't steady him, you accelerate it and accelerate it, until he's deciding that before he dies (which will be sooner than you'd like, sooner than you know what to do with), he's going to end humanity. he's going to unleash demonkind on them and secure his redemption, his doom, his punishment. it's a baptism by fire. what a way to go. a very sensui way to go, and you love it like the rest of him: poisonously. you don't need a word of convincing, no argument (as desperate as sensui is to argue his case for this), not a second of that tape, to follow him. you watch as sensui breaks the fragile people he encounters, wrenches them into misanthropic weapons. he's amazing at it. minoru is amazing at it. he brings together his crew of heart-bleeding, self-loathing pawns, and in your downtime you and sensui watch human tv, share your love for animals, plants, the human world. you cherish, distract yourself with, and celebrate these together. they're what brought you together in the first place, and you will destroy them together. you wonder if he knows that these things he loves will surely die when the demons come. you expect he views them as necessary casualties in ridding the world of human evil. how deliciously cruel he can be. you savor it. you have to savor it. you don't like thinking about the end. that sensui will barely be alive to enjoy his victory. is he so convinced of humanity's foulness that he would never bend, never doubt his genocide at all? or would he come to regret it? would he hate himself even more than he does now? once the greater evil, humanity, is eliminated, would he turn his sights on himself? he may see himself as one of the "enlightened" humans who know mankind's evil, but he is still a human with plenty of demon blood on his hands. you want to know. you're desperate for it. you don't ask him what he thinks he will become. you want to watch it unfold naturally, for as long as he is around. let the ink bleed over the page. don't blow. don't wave the paper, don't even touch it. be patient.
your sensui is killed spectacularly at the finish line. he was struck down by a human reborn as a demon. how fitting. it's what sensui wanted, and you are happy for him, as much as you can be. it's bittersweet. you knew it would end soon. you both did. you talked about it all the time. and now it's... over. the portal is being resealed. demons will not wipe out mankind. humanity will go on, unaffected. your sensui's lonely war against his own kind is already being forgotten by the few who knew of it. such a beautiful moment, swept away by time, your sensui. and now his enemies want to claim his soul. his body. to bring him to the afterlife, for whatever judgement awaits him. and you fulfill your final obligation to him. you take him away. sensui did not want any part of that, and neither do you, not particularly. it sounds rather painful, all considered. you lift him and slip away to where no one can reach you. your own little dimension, your own little pocket of existence, just the two of you. no one can touch him now. you, either, not that you care. you hold him like you have for years, and think of your future together. here, where no one can reach him. no one will touch him or stain him or rip him or tear him ever again, not even you. but you will always be closest, and that's enough. cut off from humankind and demonkind completely. it's only you. and it's only him. you wonder how long you will live, like this. a long time. it makes no difference. sensui has broken completely, and you hold the shards of him. every piece remaining is yours, is in your arms, will be yours forever. you wonder if this should be enough for you. if you should be satisfied. you are. as someone whose last regret was missing a late night program, you don't see much point in leaving. what is there for itsuki without sensui? what is there in the world worthwhile? demons, humans, the rest of it. none of it would ever compare. not even to the shards.
you wonder, and it is far from the first or the last time, how sensui will change now, in your arms. white to black, skin to bone to dust. and when you die your soul will dissipate like his, and in a little unreality you and he will linger forever, where no one can know or recall. you will die a secret of the world, a potential wasted, a close call, a scream that is swallowed last-minute. and you will be together. it's all that's mattered for a long time. you wonder if you'll ever change. you don't expect to.
#whatttt is going on with that guy am i right#also sorry if the use of he/him for sensui bothers y'all i wasn't sure if they/them would be more appropriate post-split#they use he/him in the series and that's generally how he's referred to so i went with that. i imagine it's a case-by-case basis anyhow#and it's not like sensui's the most accurate depiction of DID regardless. so im meeting the show where it's at for this#also sorry i am. anime only. so while there's at least one manga detail in there if some of this reads weird it's probably becuzza that#ANYWAY itsuki is not like to blame for sensui's misanthropic disaster spiral or anything but he's like. defo not helping. and i think that'#really interesting of him. yeah#get you a bf who wants to ruin you genuinely with little regard for you as a person bc they think it's hot.e yeehaw#yyh#yu yu hakusho#itsuki#shinobu sensui#anyway ppl should talk about them more i'm very normal about them i promise#can't wait to get to chapter black again bc i remember less of their dynamic than i'd like#also i didnt proofread this sorry orz

Scarlet Eyes
The story of the Kurta Clan massacre started out simple but has become muddled. At first it seemed straightforward the Phantom Troupe killed them to harvest their eyes. But then inconsistencies started popping up.
The Phantom Troupe seem to treat it as just another job they can't even remember.
But that can't be the case since a letter citing their Law of Retribution was left. Indicating that the Kurtas did a Meteor City citizen(s) harm. Which seems unlikely do to how secluded they were.
Uvogin when seeing Kurapika's eyes suddenly remembered. He stated that it was major task, and that the Kurta Clan were pretty powerful.
Although the Kurta Clan gain tremendous strength when their eyes turn red, unless they knew Nen I can't imagine them giving the Phantom Troupe any kind of real resistance. I don't believe there was any indication in Kurapika's backstory that they knew Nen.
It turned out the Sheila, the person who gave Kurapika and Pairo the book about Hunter D which they cherished, is not only from Meteor City but a childhood friend of the Phantom Troupe. It can't be a coincidence that she was there.
I feel like it has to do with the death of Sarasa. In Togashi fashion he turned the Phantom Troupe into morally grey characters. Her murder is what led them down their path of darkness. Chrollo concluded that the killers recorded themselves doing the act. I think he discovered that someone with Scarlet Eyes was in the video and so searched for the Kurta Clan.
Sheila's childhood dream was to become a Hunter. I think similar with Kurapika that tragedy she went through inspired her to become a blacklist hunter. I think she was in the area looking for the Kurta Clan to find a clue about the killer also. But I think something happened.
I think we could look to Yu Yu Hakusho for some answers. Togashi did import ideas from it into Hunter X Hunter. For example, Chrollo's design is inspired by Sensui Shinobu.
I think the Kurapika draws some inspiration from Hiei. He had the Jagan which is a supernatural eye similar to the Scarlet Eyes.
He came from a secluded clan of Ice Maidens which is similar to the Kurta Clan who also isolated themselves.
Hiei was banished from his clan because his mother broke the rule of mating with a male demon. They believed he would become a plague and wipe them out one day. According to Kurapika it was forbidden to leave the forest where he lived. He stated he knew of no one who ever did but I think someone did and that person is one of Sarasa's killers. I think Togashi developed the idea of an evil clan member wiping out the rest with the Kurtas.
In Yu Yu Hakusho Hiei is implanted with the jagan by the demon doctor Shigure. I think this Kurta member designed could be based on him and that he might turn out to be a doctor.
Since Kurapika and the Phantom Troupe are all in the same place it seems like a clash is fated to happen. I think this Kurta clan member is also there and is working with the medical team. Mizaistom did state that Cheadle had to recruit more staff due to a shortage of doctors.
I think it would be ironic as well since Kurapika left home primarily to find a doctor to help Pairo.

Say, remember that "Neo Nobility" cult stuff we discussed on and off again? I think I did a submission with the various codenames/titles awarded to the members ETC.
Anyway, I was musing on it & wanted to share the two inspiration sources.
Outside of what I saw of S5's mask party & Chloe zeroing in on Marinette anyway XD
1: Baccano's mafia having a rite of passage along these lines: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lx6EMt33BFI
I imagine Kagami & Tomoe are stand outs here, but athletic and nimble Chloe with dual daggers is not one to underestimate ;)
2: This world building from the very impressive Travels Through Azeroth and Outland:
“ Sin’dorei are in love with idleness and frivolity, especially here in the capital. Many of our priests and sages say that such behavior is the mark of true civilization, and the only way that an elf can find happiness. They may be right; doubtless for most elves, this is the case. But idleness is a poison for others.” “I’ve observed the same among some human nobles,” I said. “Human nobles are not the same as elven nobles.” She raised her wine glass to her lips and drank deeply before continuing. “Some elves grew bored and jaded. They turned to darker entertainments, forming secret societies. Most were harmless but a few became dangerous, delving into warlock grimoires and summoning demons in hidden cellars all along Murder Row.” “That’s how the place got it’s name?” “Not exactly. Souls are required to summon most forms of demons, but these wayward elves culled souls from wild beasts. Distasteful, but not necessarily criminal. Around four centuries ago, one of these groups, the Fount of Wisdom, sought to summon a pit lord. They were young fools who had no idea what they were doing.” “A pit lord?” Those living maelstroms of destruction are among the most terrible demons in existence. “Horrible, I know. To do this, they kidnapped the daughter of Lord Fairbreeze and sacrificed her on an altar. Evidently the demons were displeased with such a sacrifice. Instead of a pit lord, they summoned an explosion which killed most of them.” “What happened to the survivors?” “They were found, admitted to their crimes, and executed. The ringleader was a scion of House Falconwing, but even that could not save him. His own father dealt the killing blow.” “Was that the last of such societies?” “Only for a while. Gradually they returned, though none were ever so reckless as the Fount of Wisdom.”
3: After that... I can't recall if that came before or after speaking with you, but I think I think:
Yu Yu Hakusho's Black Black Club (Wealthy humans who dabbled in blood sports, & selling demons as as slaves) Along with their "Feast of Human Vices" could or did or do play some degree of aesthetic inspiration. For reference, said Feast was horrific enough that when Demon Hunter Shinobu Sensui found it, his mind fractured and he killed all the humans there. Then he stole the "Chapter Black" a record of all humanities worst crimes & let's just say things didn't get better from there.
Not sure why, but I felt the context was interesting, especially given Gabriel, Emilie & others tinkering with magic artifacts too.
A lot of interesting ideas here, unfortunately I'm not familiar with any of the source material at al >.<;;

LOCATION
[SARAYASHIKI JR. HIGH] Located in an unknown prefecture in Japan, this Junior High is where a certain spirit detective "goes" to school. You wake up in the teacher's lounge, luckily there's no one there, because it's Sunday. However unless you have a way to escape; you're locked in the school until Monday morning.
ORIGIN
[DROP-IN] You wake up without any additional memories or additional history.
PERKS
[SPIRIT CLASS (D CLASS)] This is where you start out at the beginning, a D Class. Powerwise D Class are superhuman but the level of destruction they can cause is usually no more than simple property damage. (Destroying a car, breaking a tree, smashing a wall, etc.) A single D Class is strong enough to kill a platoon of well trained and well-armed soldiers with little effort.
[PERCEPTION] You're much more spiritually aware than even spirit detectives, you're often the first one to notice something is up. This grants you the ability to see demons, spirits, and the like that normally you'd have to be Spirit Detective, Demon, or Psychic.
[DANGER SENSE] Perhaps you have a knack for it, but trouble is everywhere from trucks coming at you as you rush to get a kid who has wandered into the street after a ball, or perhaps there was a trap waiting for you? None the less you have what can only be described as a danger sense, the ability to see and react to danger before it happened. This is handy for dodging at last second a Spirit Gun blast or falling ceiling.
[DETERMINATION] Just like Yusuke you have an iron will of determination that few can match. This means you won't quit, and gives you almost superhuman amount of will to never give up. Even when you expend yourself, you can always get back on your feet after a rest. Perhaps, this will be enough to allow you to suffer through Genkai's training?
[SPIRIT TECHNIQUE] Spirit Energy is the energy possessed by all humans. It is very powerful if used correctly, and can be wielded by any spiritually aware human. However, the strength of the energy varies between persons. It is unique from person to person as fingerprints and voice-prints. This Energy can be converted into weapons, used to enhance the strength of the body, attack directly and heal. You have the ability to manipulate this due to your abundant source of spirit energy. At first you can only enhance your punches so that they hurt tougher enemies, and enough energy to fire a spirit gun once per day. You can unlock creative applications over time.
[SACRED ENERGY] Sacred Energy is the highest echelon of power, something that very few people have access to. This power is so rare that it's seen as something of a myth, those demons with this power are considered angels because the golden light of this power is so intense. Indeed only one person in recent history mastered this ability. You however haven't mastered this ability, but you've unlocked this holy power of yours. With this power you're able to do a wide arrange of things that isn't limited by your imagination, Shinobu Sensui the only other person known to have Sacred Energy used it in a wide range of attacks and defenses. You can unlock creative applications over time.
[SPIRITUAL PHYSIQUE BOOST] A common theme among psychics are their above average physiques. You've noticed you're slightly stronger, tougher, quicker, and agile than your average spirit level. This also gives you the ability to always get back up. However it doesn't give you any above average fighting skills.
[REPUTATION] You were once an, A Class demon, or perhaps you defeated a powerful opponent. No matter how you got it, you're well known and can open a lot of doors that would normally be shut to someone of your power.
INVENTORY
[COMMUNICATION MIRRORS] These mirrors act like a facetime on a smartphone, but across dimensions. This doesn't work for cross jump communication. Gives you two mirrors every time you buy this.
[KIMONO] High quality traditional formal wear, it's still popular in Japan. You get a few sets of these, one for each day. They're made out of silk, but they're damage resistant. Slippers are optional.
[DEMON WORLD FASHION STATEMENT] You have an outfit that looks antique, like something from the feudal era. It's not a Kimono, but everyday clothing that's a popular Avant Garde statement in Demon World. Comes with a few sets, one for each day.
[GOBLIN CITY] A famous video game that spans multiple genres such as sports, fighting, trivia, and puzzles, the popularity of Goblin City is unsurprising. You own a copy, an SNES, and two controllers. Additionally it seems to run off your energy, as so long you have some sort of energy it turns on and displays a holographic screen for you to enjoy. Weird huh?
DRAWBACKS
[WANTED] You're infamous now! Someone has put a bounty on your head, for a lot of $ or something as equally valuable. Expect your love ones to be in the crosshairs to get to you.
FUTURE
[MOVE ON] Go forth my friend, you leave to your next destination.

Y’all sure seemed to enjoy the last one, how about another round of late-night YuYuposting? Because threads from Chapter Black echoing into what we just saw of Wano is far from isolated to the chilling tale of Amanuma & Kurama. Didn’t think about it a whole lot til the end, but this One Piece arc was very Chapter Black through and through. Starting with this excellent, layered callback.
This “many faces” theme is one of the biggest we’ve talked about here on hour Kiku-centric journey through Wano. We see it through her in a more mundane way, all the faces a young woman has to juggle to live under an oppressive culture tied up with a theatrical bow. But the motif is a lot more blatant in both Kaido and Orochi.
We’ve also talked about the echoes of Shishio & his Juppongatana from Rurouni Kenshin, which obviously has a much more direct (and relevant) meaning for Oda’s career. But Shinobu Sensui...he manages both. Hence the picture. We got both the charismatic leader and the hearts he took advantage of and the fractured personality. That’s what Kurama’s referring to. A prophetic motif that was originally interpreted as referring to Sensui and his allies but we’re finding out here was about his own sevenfold psyche all along. I’ve always loved this little extra bit of flair about “Naru” as well, even though it never goes anywhere. The thought of the fractured big bad having a soft, feminine side. Yeah...shame that didn’t come up in anyway like Kaido having a flirty drunk phase or something.
Doesn’t stop there though. Chapter 148, “Moment of Awakening.” Because...it was very much the same kind of story beat. Yusuke gets beat. Dies even but something seems off. Reawakens with a massive power up. Not much more to say about the beat itself other than that. I’m far from the only person who thought of the Atavism of the Mazoku here in YYH when we saw Gear 5 in One Piece 1044. I want to end on my real thoughts about how this might apply to One Piece going forward, but first an aside about Luffy and the girl tied up in the story elements that facilitated that transformation and are already back in play this soon into Egghead:
Context. This is a flashback from the guy in the first clipping. Itsuki, villain Sensui’s right-hand man. Lover as well, but seemingly unrequited like Honjo to Shishio. Gets weird with Sensui’s multiple personalities. Not what I really care about. No, this is how they met. It was a turning point for Sensui, who prior had a very black-and-white “humans good, demons bad” worldview. Was about to kill Itsuki but a simple ripple of fate gave him pause. In his last moments, Itsuki bemoaned wanting just one more day. For no other reason than wanting to see a favorite musician on a TV show tomorrow. As you can see, Sensui was a fan too which started a conversation that’d, to quote the series, “introduce a truckload of gray.”
Incidentally, Jun Togawa is a hell of a reference. She was a popular underground musician at the time. Kickass figure in her own right. Famous for like, paroding idol girl groups and being much more real about women’s perspectives and issues than most Japanese pop stars. Especially for the 80s/90s. Imagine half Nina Hagen, half Alanis Morisette. Gotta wonder if Oda’s a fan given potential nods like a first solo album titled “Princess Tama” and being the front for a band named “Guernica.” Speaking of CP0, of course it all comes back to Kiku. Long way around to a simple idea. One of the big things I always felt about Kiku & Yamato’s roles in the arc together is that it reminded me of the feeling of this simple but powerful moment. It’s the difference between casual fate and grandiose (but empty) destiny.
I still don’t think it was an accident you have your two most featured new faces set up like that. Yamato comes bursting in halfway through talking about how long he’s been waiting because of Ace and reading about the crew in the papers and it feels like fate...but way less so when you remember Luffy stumbling into being buds with the little sister of one of Ace’s big bros. How he casually has no trouble finding out her secret because of the people he just happened to meet saving Ace. How following her heart and helping Luffy for its own sake led to reuniting with her lost family members. That rumination on fate and what it actually looks like is too good to pass up, especially with how well it aligns with Luffy stepping into this role as a “chosen one.” It mirrors; were you destined to be here just because, or because the sum total of your actions made you the right person?
Of course, I wouldn’t go on such a big detour without a point. Even if talking Kiku is always a good enough point for me. Still, this is where I’m wondering if we’re headed. The most poignant aspect of Yu Yu Hakusho’s Chapter Black is where it heads after. A shonen hero...reflecting on what it means being able to destroy it all if he wanted. Realizing he could become Sensui and not having any good answers. Sadly this is where we transition into an infamously rushed final arc for the series due to Togashi’s declining health, but it doesn’t undercut the power of seeing this in a power fantasy battle shonen.
And I can’t help but think about the role Oden plays in the story. How it all comes together. That was Oden’s example. A great man who didn’t really learn about the concept of collateral damage until it was too late. This certainly feels like part of the lesson Luffy learns through his time in Wano. That paired with a heaping helping of Kaido, the spectre of a powerful man who never learned to maintain composue. Deal with expectaions and emotions to the point he was a fractured drunk not unlike Sensui.
Yeah...I think Chapter Black was a pretty damn big influence on Wano. Up there with RuroKen’s Kyoto arc. If you’re gonna drop homages you’d be hard pressed to find a better one to shout out and build off of.

Okay I’m actually curious about your Gemini/Virgo Getou headcanon because I have been so convinced he’s an Aquarius, why do you think he fits Gemini and/or Virgo well? (Not trying to challenge your interpretation or anything, I’m just :D :D about jjk star sign headcanons and would love to hear your thoughts!)
im sorry for just answering now! there are some reasons- probably wont make any sense bc theyre not related to his personality or anything. while i love astrology i also don’t understand much about it even though it sounds reaaaally fun </3 hehe
mainly bc getou is based on shinobu sensui (yu yu hakusho) and satosugu were designed to be opposites. while gojou’s birthday is december 7, sensui’s bday is june 6 which is the complete opposite of gojou’s in the context of 24 solar terms. i liked the idea of getou being a june kid and the solar term for his would be 芒種/bōshu (grain in ear).
as for the other reasons, i love to associate getou with summer (which is around june-july in japan). think about the irony of being a bearer of kanji of the word summer in his name and a curse manipulation technique, while the curses appear in huge quantities during the summer. it’s the busy season for the sorcerers, especially the one with curse manipulation technique such as getou. we also know that he didn’t like the taste of curses he ingested at all so imagine how stressful the summer season could be for him?
#and virgo…. bc gege didn’t give us any personal info about getou before the fanbook#i just simply set his bday the same as mine bc any day could be getou’s bday <3#jjk spoilers#sss.talks#i feel so dumb now bc i only know one gemini and theyre nothing like getou at some point hdkshfs

**YYH REIKAI TANTEI AS VILLAINS DESCRIBED BY SONGS**
Yusuke: Bad by Royal Deluxe
Kurama: I'm A Wanted Man by Royal Deluxe
Hiei: Play With Fire by Sam Tinnesz
Kuwabara: Warriors by Imagine Dragons; A World So Cold by Mudvayne; Monster by Imagine Dragons; Paint It Black (original by The Rolling Stones) sung by Ciara; Control by Halsey; World on Fire by Klergy; As We Fall by Kergy; Light 'Em Up by Fall Out Boys; The Hate Inside by Sam Tinnesz; I've Done Dark Things by Adona; I Love The Way You Hate Me by Like A Storm; Villain by K/DA; Play With Fire by Sam Tinnesz; Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me by U2; Blood // Water by Grandson; Perfect Insanity by Disturbed; Unsainted by Slipknot; Snuff by Slipknot; Circus For A Psycho by Skillet; Divide by Disturbed; Somewhere I Belong by Linkin Park; Dead Bodies Everywhere by Korn; Thoughtless by Korn
Yusuke, Kurama, and Hiei would turn evil simply by decision alone...
It would be a long process to make Kuwabara evil, he's such a very good person, and him turning EVIL would be the uttermost devastating out of the bunch. He's the most good out of the four, the most righteous and purest of heart, and being so good...if he fell and turned evil...it would be absolutely horrible! Since he knows true good, that he is righteous and most honorable, he would be the complete opposite if turned bad. Him knowing love, having loved the hardest, would make him hate the most. The greater the love, the greater the hate. He'd have to snap, or technically BREAK APART, SHATTER.
Kuwabara would no doubt be another Shinobu Sensui, only more fiendish, more hate driven, more worse, and all sorts of bad. Kuwabara would be pure evil, whereas Sensui was more on the lines of just having been driven insane to having multiple personalities to cope. Kuwabara would be a sociopath, with PTSD, and/or schizo-affective. No multiple personalities, more like deranged. Kuwabara wouldn't have multiple personalities, his name would be dead to him though, his old self gone completely.. Kuwabara... He'd be a nightmare. The "silly oaf with the golden heart" would be no more and his sense of humor twisted. To him, his dreams shattered, would see this world as an illusion, a bad joke, and that his life nothing more than that...a comedy. He would never take interest in stealing objects of desires like money, so watching the world burn would be his only desire. Kuwabara wouldn't just kill, he'd terrorize, and try to pull people into his world. He'd be a compulsive liar and a manipulator. He's not a big planning type of guy, so he'd just do shit at the spur of the moment usually, go with the flow so to speak...but learning from prior experiences, he'll plan, he'll be greatly observant...of you and everyone else in the room... And he won't fear pain or death, so he'll come off as reckless. The scary part is that he's a lot smarter than people think.

Written for the 2021 @yyh-revival Spring Event.
***
Itsuki undressed Shinobu tenderly, peeling off his bloodstained clothing piece by piece to make absolutely sure that none of the blood was his own. The water swirling down the drain turned slowly but steadily from crimson to pink and, finally, began to run clear.
The human’s lean body was every bit as flawless as Itsuki had always imagined, entirely unmarred by the recent slaughter. It seemed that all of Shinobu’s scars would be internal. Itsuki could hardly wait to watch them form.

Matchup Female, asexual 5'7 jade green eyes olive skin, chocolate brown hair birthmark at corner of mouth. Responsible, planner, snarky, sarcastic, silly, dark sense humour, loves dancing, college student and exotic dancer. Questionable morals, loyal friend, has patience for but not for idiots.
You had Shinobu Sensui at questionable morals. Or should I say Minoru.
You’re the perfect kind of person he wants to help aid his cause. Someone who seems indifferent to humanity is much easier to persuade. You’d find him at your campus and/or at your work, whether it be to take up a class or pay for your services, he’ll start coming around more often than you’d imagine. Except he won’t be his true self, he’ll be Minoru. This suave personality will make you believe this is truly him, even if he can talk a bit too much.
Minoru will enjoy the darker tones of your humor and play off your sarcastic nature. He’ll love that you actually plan ahead of time. He’ll slowly find ways to have you open up to him while also falling for the way you move your hips and shake your shoulders. Minoru may not be the most sexually wanting side of Sensui, but that doesn’t mean you’re not captivating. When the time is right he’ll ask you out to somewhere fancy.
Minuro is quite prideful, but somehow you’ll be able to keep his pride in check enough that it doesn’t get overblown. He’ll wonder why you have that abilities on him, and also wonder why in return he wants to be your emotional support regardless upon whether he does recruit you to his side or not. If anything, he’ll just let you have the cynical outlook on humanity and continue his interactions with you. Maybe knowing , that despite any morals you do and don’t have, your loyalties are easy to see where they lie may help him sleep at night.
It’ll be the plot twist of the century if you ever found out that Minoru isn’t really who he is. Sooner or later you’ll be one of Minoru’s triggers to come out and play. So you may never know that Minoru is really Shinobi Sensui
