Hi hi~ It's my birthday and I'm running on fumes. So- How would the Ro's celebrate MC's birthday with them if the MC doesn't mind doing whatever/doesn't plan to do anything special? I'm desperate for Ardent... WHO SAID THAT??
Happy Birthday!!!! đđđ I hope you've had a good one. I'm going to throw it under a cut because it somehow ended up being almost 2k words! Ardent is just as desperate, he's just in denial!
â¤ď¸ Cam - First off, would MC mind getting a piercing? Cam would be thrilled to get matching ear piercings with them. But if thatâs not their thing, heâd suggest something more subtle, like matching jewelry. Maybe one of those permanent bracelets that are soldered onâa small but meaningful reminder of their bond.
Cam is up for anything, truly. If MC wants to stay in and have a cozy night watching movies, heâs already pulling up his favorite food apps and ordering takeout from three different places. But if MC feels adventurous, heâs all in. One of those indoor trampoline parks? Perfectâjust give him a second to grab some Dramamine first. Whatever the plan, heâs ready to make the day unforgettable.
And at the end of the night, Cam has one last surprise: a scrapbook. âOld school, I know,â he says with a sheepish grin as he hands it over.
The pages are filled with his favorite memories. Photos from his point of view, capturing the little moments that mattered most to him over the years. Thereâs a whole section dedicated to the doggo (because, of course), and even a page or two with G, reflecting the years of shared friendship. And yes, there are even photos of MC with Chrisâbut Chris has been carefully, and a little dramatically, cut out of every one.
Cam shrugs, a faint blush coloring his cheeks as he fidgets with the edge of one of the photos. âI couldnât just throw them out,â he murmurs, running his fingers along the edges of the picture. His voice softens as he glances at MC, the corners of his mouth lifting in a lopsided smile. âYou looked too good.â
đ G - They never truly enjoyed their birthday, especially since itâs on Valentineâs Day. But MC changed that for them. Even when they werenât together, MC still made sure to bake G a cake, showing how much they cared and G wants to do the same.
This year, G had been planning it for a while. They wanted everything to be just rightâa nice dinner out on the town, the kind of place that serves those tiny, fancy portions. But when they hear MCâs stomach growling later that night, G would laugh and take them back to the kitchen to whip up a big, hearty meal, just the way they like it.
Afterward, theyâd take MC on a walk, retracing steps to places theyâd always wanted to show them back when they werenât speaking. They would begin reminiscing about those late-night strolls they used to share in school.
G would have two gifts for MC. The first is something theyâve kept all this time (spoiler, i can't say what it is since you will be able to receive this item and place it in your MC's room). The second is a sweater. Not to replace the one they absolutely stole, by the wayâno, of course not. This one is different. Itâs a sweater G has worn over the years, one theyâve thought about MC wearing, imagining them wrapped up in its warmth.
And to end the night, G would surprise MC with a homemade cake, the icing meticulously decorated with the image of their dog. Itâs not perfect, a tad lopsided, the color a little off.
đ Kara - Oh, MC is getting spoiled. If theyâre down for pampering, then Kara is going all out. First up, the best massage money can buyâonly the best for MC. Kara will even attempt to bake them cookies⌠and we all know how that is going to go. When that inevitably doesnât pan out, sheâll pivot to taking MC out for dinner. Fine dining, of course. Is a seven-course meal too much? Probably. Should she have asked beforehand? Definitely.
Kara doesnât have the shared history with MC that Cam and G do, and she knows it. So, in a rare moment of thoughtfulness, sheâll invite Em along, intent on building a better relationship with MC and making the night truly special.
To top it off, Kara would rent a luxurious hotel for the night. Yes, MC can eat the snacks in the minibarâsheâs paying. Sheâd try to whisk MC out of the country for a weekend getaway, but when their schedule doesnât allow it, sheâll opt for the next best thing: a staycation. A weekend of indulgence, relaxation, and Kara-style bonding.
Her real gift, though, is far more personal: a key to her place, accompanied by a bouquet of flowers. The same flowers she once gave MC years agoâthough back then, Chris had claimed the credit. This time, Kara makes sure thereâs no doubt where they came from.
đ M - One thing about Mar: they really like to have a plan. Whether itâs outlining their novel or taking MC out on a date, having a plan helps them prepare for whatâs to come. So, if you happen to look through Mâs search history, donât be surprised if you come across things like:
"How to give your partner the best birthday"
"How much tongue is too much tongue? Techniques for French kissing"
And last but certainly not least, âWhat exactly is Netflix and chill?â (Had to include that, especially with a planned snippet!)
The first thing M can think to do is take MC somewhere special. Not to an anime convention (though they already bought tickets and even wanted to plan couple costumesâthey had to talk themselves down from that). Instead, M decides on a place they donât get to visit often, a place they love: home. And not their apartment, but their childhood home, the house their mothers still own.
M doesnât get much time away from work or book tours, so this will be one of the few opportunities they can actually take MC. Since MC is up for anything, it doesnât dawn on M until later that theyâre essentially taking MC to meet the parents. Truthfully, M is more nervous than MC. At home, though, M is much more confidentâthey know what theyâre doing and where to go. Itâs one of the few times M feels completely sure of themselves. The trip is a success. M had already told their mothers about MC so of course they end up adoring MC even more.
As for a gift, M isnât sure what to give. They hope that their presenceâtheir trust, adoration, and loveâwill be enough. But just in case, M has a backup. They pull out their finished novel, ready for store shelves. Normally, M keeps the first published copy for themselves, but this time, they donât. They want MC to see the first page after opening the coverâa heartfelt dedication, to none other than MC.
đ Isaac - Isaac has never gotten this far with a partner since their ex. Theyâve never allowed themselves to care for someone that deeply, not until MC. So when Isaac finally allows themselves to openly care for MC, they want to make it count. They want to do for MC what their mother used to do for them, even going so far as to bake their motherâs cake recipe. Listen, Isaac can cookâbaking, though, is a little iffy. So it wonât be perfect, but it will be made from the heart. Just like the day Isaac has planned: something as simple as running errands, spending time together, sharing quiet moments. Itâs something Isaac, admittedly, took for granted early on in their relationship.
Now, they donât hold back as much. Isaac openly tells MC how they feel, how much they care for them, and shows it as well. The list of people who care about Isaac is minuscule, and they donât take that for granted. Theyâre open to any thoughts MC has for the day, any question about Isaacâs past, or their job that theyâd kept hidden for so long. Isaacâs willing to share even the details about their parents.
The gift is simple. No, itâs not free reign over Isaacâs carânice try. Itâs a plant, a cat-safe flower because Isaac knows Cupid likes to visit. Theyâve taken care of it for a while, making sure itâll survive before giving it to MC. But the flower itself isnât whatâs important. What matters is the sentiment behind itâthe idea of nurturing something so it can grow.
Itâs a promise from Isaac, a vow that they wonât stop working on themselves, that they wonât stop fighting for their relationship with MC. Itâs the promise of being honest, with MC, with themselves, and accepting just how much they care for one another.
đ¤ Ardent - MC would wake up gently, kissed softly on the lips, greeted with breakfast in bed. Heâd actually been prepping it since the day before, and when Ardent cooks, he really goes all out. He doesnât mess around. That means MCâs day isnât just about breakfastâitâs also lunch, dinner, and his special baklava. There are so many ways the day can go, especially if his uncle tries to rope him into helping close the bar (he wonât, because today is all about MC).
Though MC insists they donât care what they do for the day, Ardent canât accept that. He wants nothing more than to make it special for them. Ardentâs life has changed so much since MC came into it. Theyâve helped him understand just how important it is to open up, to stop keeping people at armâs length. He would be lost without them, and he wants to show his appreciation for all theyâve done for him.
He never expected his mom to fly in when he told her it was MCâs birthday, nor did he plan for his cousins or his uncle to join in. He wasnât surprised when his niece showed up with a handmade gift, though she lied and claimed Ardent got it for MC, afraid that heâd forgotten. He could never forget.
MC gets a big party, and while he knows it might not be their ideal, he apologizes later in the day. Thereâs one thing Ardent has always wanted to do with MC, ever since that day they rushed Cupid to the emergency vet. Heâs a bit sentimental, sure. But he canât help it, especially when he ties a little note to Cupidâs collar for MC to find late at night, when she curls up next to them.
Who wouldâve imagined that Ardent Pine writes love notes? Even worse, he doodles hearts. Yeah, he wonât live that down, but itâs something heâs come to accept. And heâs hoping his gift will be something MC can accept, too. An invitation to become a bigger part of his life and of Cupidâs. The note includes a crude drawing of a cat and a message:
As much as I love Cupid, I never couldâve imagined youâd love her too. That youâd care for her when I was such an as- (the swear is scribbled out) jerk. I never couldâve imagined youâd worm your way into my heartâand hers. So, whaddya say, trouble? Will you have us?
Ardent takes a deep breath, his face looking calm as ever. But MC notices the slight twitch of his fingers in his pocketsâsomething he does when heâs nervous. His eyes meet theirs for a moment, and then he simply says, âMove in with me.â

PLEASE I NEED SOMEONE TO DRAW AMBS AND BAL (MOVIE VERSION) ON THEIR WEDDING DAY KISSINF AGHHHH
HII I'm not good at drawing people kissing in the lips but I got these!!
References and some thoughts under the cut!
-One of the ways I imagine them marrying is through the civil (? whatever it's called in English), where Nimona would be right behind Ballister when he's signing like, sign, Ballister, sign the contract now! like that scene in Shrek 4 with Rumpelstiltskin
-Neither of them carried a bouquet, but they got one anyways just to throw it (Ambrosius did)
-Apparently in some Mexican weddings they throw the groom in the air to celebrate him and I love the idea, so both Ballister and Ambrosius get thrown in the air djfkdf
>(better if they're part of the crowd that is throwing them, and then it's them catching eachother when they fall aaa)
-Also the dancing, imagine it with any sort of music in the background and both of them dancing together and then just deciding to have fun on their own and doing whatever dance moves, even if they have nothing to do with the music (like there's cumbia sounding and Ambrosius is doing the gangnam style and Ballister is throwing it back or something đ)
-They have a lot of fun wooo
-Also wanted to draw them in traditional clothes too wiwiw I hope you know what I mean with the 'groom pose' sjdksd both hands held in front of them
-Based this (unfinished) thingy on a TikTok I saw of 'if I (anxious person) were to get married' and thought of both of them but drew it with Ambrosius.
-It goes like:
Ambrosius: Hey! So- Just wanted to confirm, is the wedding still on? (Ballister answers) Ambrosius: Yes? (Ballister says something) Cool! I'll see you there then! Ambrosius, in his blue wedding clothes: I'll be the guy in blue. (Ballister says something) Yeah! Okay, bye, love you :D
>And at the other end of the thing, there was Ballister all nervously rambling to a very bored Nimona about what if Ambrosius calls it off last minute? Or what if he regrets marrying me right now? I can't just ask either, that'd be- and then there's the call and he's like, yes, it's still on! :D Yes I know, and remember I'll be wearing a dark sherwani. See you there, love you too :D
>And then they're both a bit more relaxed with that sjdfks (they're some rooms away from each other)
>[btw, those are supposed to be Ambrosius' moms helping him get the final details in his clothes done, like patting him to iron out the sleeves (they're ironed already) and placing his headwear and stuff]
-They're still pretty nervous tho, so, based in a video I watched, imagine them like:
Person marrying them: Now, I, Ballister. Ballister and Ambrosius, at the same time: I, Ballister- Ballister: ? I'm Ballister. Ambrosius: No, it's me. Ballister: Oh, okay. Ballister: No, wait what--
-Ambrosius: Hi, I'm Ballister's husband :D
>Ambrosius: This is my husband, Ballister. We're married :DD
>Ambrosius: We're the Goldenhearts :DDD
>>
-(some of the references)
That's it!
#nimona#ambrosius goldenloin#ballister boldheart#goldenheart#my art#the page with red drawings is mostly based on a video of two people marrying in Mexico and they seem to be having so much fun#in one the bride tripped on her dress when dancing and the groom was doing the gangnam style and i found it funny djfkdf#nimona is barely here but I'm more focused on goldenheart djfkdg#I don't like how that drawing of Balli carrying Ambrosius bridal style came out but i don't want to just leave it there djfkd so I added it

Hello :3 How would Rivals characters react to their s/o being famous and appearing in ads and stuff (you choose which characters :3) I love your writing and cant wait for moređź
Them and you being famous!
Before you read, please be warned that I'm writing based on my impressions of them not only in the game (though it's the biggest inspiration), but some of them with the movies/shows in mind too.
Tysmm! I don't think you guys get how much it means to me when you guys tell me you guys like my writing (I imagine it's the same with other writers?)
I'm feeling the burn out due to school being back in session, but we prevail!! Who's excited for season 1?
Masterlist
She loves it, and is absolutely your number one supporter! Definitely the type to never skip anything you're in online- even if it's an ad for something she's so not interested in. And she's one hundred percent got some sort of merchandise of you, like a cut out magazine that's hung up on her wall with little hearts around your face.
Ever the supporter, she loves coming on set and watching you work. Be it a photoshoot, ad, or film of some sort, she's always there to support and cheer you on (she has definitely got in trouble from the people in charge for being a little loud).
Definitely a bragger, telling anyone who'll listen (poor tippy-toe) about her amazingly beautiful partner that's world famous (in her heart). Can't help but gush over you, it's almost natural at this point to her. Anyone who knows her, knows you and has seen at least one film you're in.
When the day is over and you get home, she's ready to help you relax! She's got a nice warm bath already run, a warm towel ready when you're done, and warm cuddles and movies while you both eat whatever junk you want (to hell with your manager and supposedly âneededâ diet).
Overall: She is so supportive, and no matter what it is will be there to cheer you on and help wherever she can!
Fame isn't something huge to him- rather it's not something he pays much attention to. Status doesn't do much for his opinions to people, but that doesn't mean he won't look at your career.
He definitely has a magazine or poster of you in his main office somewhere, even if it seems a little inappropriate for a king to seem like such a fanboy. His sister will not let this go, and most certainly teases him about it.
Even though he's a busy man, he always makes time for you. He'll go to red carpets with you if that's something you do, he'll sit down and watch movies you star in during his free time. He'll even go out of his way to watch a dumb laundry ad you make a two second appearance in, because he loves you so.
While he works hard, he knows you work just as hard as he does- and he respects that. At the end of the day, the two of you will sit and relax with a nice dinner, cuddling up after in silence. He'll probably be reading a book while you do whatever you want- as long as you stay by his side until bedtime. Sometimes he'll stray from the pages and to your face and he'll think to himself- yeah, they're gorgeous, the world was right to make you famous.
Overall: He'll support your career from the sidelines, as much as he can. He loves you, and while he's busy, he makes time to see you bloom like a beautiful flower.
||â˘STRICTLY PLATONICâ˘||
She's totally freaking out when she finds out!! Like oh my gosh, her best friend/found family is famous? She knew she recognized you from somewhere, it was totally from that one movie you did! It's one of her favorites, you know.
All the time she'll ask you what it's like being famous like that, like yeah she is too but not like you are! Always asking questions about how the filming process of movies and even ads go.
Absolutely overjoyed when you invite her to join you on a photoshoot set, like omg yes she wants to see you strike some poses! She'll even try and copy you behind all the cameras and crew men, the smile on your face in those photos are definitely real. One time you asked her to join her for a photo and she basically popped like a balloon, she was so honored. (And yes, she reacted the same way when she saw those pictures were actually used in a promotion or magazine.)
Overall: She is so so supportive!! You're someone she looks up to and definitely has merchandise of you and posters up in her room.
He's used to it- fame. He's famous himself, why should he care if you are too? The mentality definitely isn't the best, but give him time- relationships are difficult for him. He'll get there eventually.
Has, and will always, go to red carpets with you- whether he got the invitation or you. And he only makes sure you two are in the best clothes money can buy (and he's got plenty to spare). The two of you are always the best dressed and most elegant people at the function.
All of your films or shows are on his watch list, and he watches them while he works. He's got an AI system that keeps track of any news about you (films, photoshoots, etc.) and notifies him about anything new. He's obsessed with you!
He definitely points you out in any type of media no matter where you are, and probably sends you a picture of it. Everyone around him is so tired of him pointing at a screen and yelling about his partner.
Will absolutely pay paparazzi to take pictures of you so he can keep them for himself - is that weird? Yes, but you probably do the sameâŚ
Overall: Loves your career and always keeps track of everything you do. Always supportive about whatever it is you do. Definitely the Internets otp.
Oh my god, yes! She gets you, and you get her!! The two of you definitely have each other's merch and often wear shirts with each other's face on it (paparazzi can't get enough of that).
Collaborations are always on the table, no matter what it may be. Photoshoots? Tell her what the theme is! Movie? She'd love a cameo! Want to do a collab song with her? It'll be the most cheesy romance song ever!
Your managers are so goddamn tired of you two asking for some sort of collaboration that they don't even check anymore- do whatever you want.
The Internet loves the two of you! Fan edits of you guys are insanely popular, especially when you guys do interviews together. Fan art and shitty fanfiction is extremely popular too, and it's adorable.
After long hours at work, the two of you sit on the couch in the most comfortable jammies you have and eat anything you want! Watching some god forsaken show with a horrible love triangle plot.
Overall: It's great, having someone by her side who knows how she feels about being famous. She loves hanging out with you, be it for work or at home.

Throwing this in, though I know you have a post saying you're taking a break: I quite like Tetro. The story is exciting, and incredible. You've done an amazing job piecing everything together, and it has lead to me pretty seriously looking into following the footsteps of this project with a story also told in this audio format, since you demonstrated so clearly not only how this was possible, but how this could be done so well for a Killing Game specifically. The latest events, the latest death, as made me incredibly sad, and I feel a lot of emotional turmoil over losing both victims. But despite that, I have enjoyed the loving, losing, and worrying for the future. That's amazing. All of it is amazing. I have my theories and conclusions about who may be guilty and who isn't, but based on the posts I read, I mainly wanted to express an amount of thankfulness that the series exists at all. It's even lead to me writing fanpieces for some character interactions, and I imagine I have a few more in me from all that's gone on. Not only that, but the hard topics of this series have meant a lot to me. Yanagi and Tsuno have especially felt really close to home. The stories they talk about and the things they deal with matter in my own life. And the series as a whole has made me cry over stuff that mattered to me much more than any other media has done in the last year or so, maybe longer, in even broader strokes. All the characters don't just feel like people one could meet, but people I have met. People I have known. And some of those conversations feel just like ones I've had in my own life. You've done something incredible, and the writing has connected to me deeply. And though I can only speak for me, I doubt I'm alone in this. Thank you for this project, and thank you for sharing it so broadly, freely, and completely. Thanks for writing it, and writing daringly, maturely, and earnestly. At least, such are the ways I would describe it.
I hope I can cross paths with you sometime in the future over a creative endeavor. But in the meanwhile, I'll be tuned in to whatever you do for this, and for whatever comes next. As these things are called asks, if you do decide to respond: Who on Tetro is your favorite? Is it the same from when you were initially writing it? And what lead you to choose an audio drama as the medium in question? Thanks, and see ya at the trial.
thank you very very much, im extremely glad that youve been able to connect with my writing on that level and i hope that others have as well! i really enjoyed the writing process for tetro so its always really cool for me when others can enjoy my story as well
also, my favourite is hama! that changed a lot during production, but ive settled on hama as my goat forever i think. sorry to all the other favs i abandoned along the way
i chose the audio drama format because ive always really liked being able to picture things. when i was a kid, i used to fall asleep to audio books every night, and i really liked being able to picture the characters and stories as they were happening. i would always be so disappointed when id go to watch a movie adaptation of a book i liked only to see that everything looked different from in my head lmao.
i also think audio is a really fun format for this type of story! it was a fun challenge to get my points across without having visuals to back my writing. i didnt have very much faith in my ability to do this at first. tetro was originally planned to have a narrator because i didnt think id be able to tell a story without one. when i realized my writing could stand on its own, i took out the narrator and just let myself carry it as best i could. i think it made for some really fun opportunities where the impact of a scene just wouldnt have been nearly as strong if there had been visuals or narration.
i think [Ice Fairy] is a highlight of tetro in terms of audio storytelling - same with [Good Child]. having only audio forces you as the viewer to take a moment to figure out what's happening, which in turn gives you an "oh shit" realization moment that really helps the impact of a scene like [Ice Fairy] or [Good Child]. there are still some more really cool examples of tetro utilizing its format left to come - i hope you enjoy them when they do!

MY PROBLEMS WITH THE LEGEND OF ZELDA MOVIE
Okay, hi.
I have a LOT of reasons this movie should never in a million years happen, but my family is getting sick of hearing them, so I'm here to share them with you because I'm very frustrated with some school things right now and I need to channel my anger into something that matters.
First is that it's going to be live-action.
This was a terrible choice on their part because no matter who they cast as Link and Zelda, they aren't going to be good enough for the role. And no, I don't mean as in acting skill, I mean in terms of appearance. They're just not going to be able to capture it.
Second of all, casting.
Casting for this movie will be tricky for multiple reasons. Like I said previously, whoever they choose to cast won't be able to capture the physical essence of the characters. Not only that, but they can't cast a super famous guy (ESPECIALLY not Tom Holland) because Link is always supposed to be a little nobody twink who shows up with a 'i have no idea what I'm doing but I'm doing it anyway' mentality, not some hotshot guy everyone knows.
Third, twink-y-ness.
As we all know, Link is twinkier than a Twinkie, and if they fail to capture that, what is even the point. We need to see Link in at least one slutty outfit with a stupid hairstyle or else that isn't Link, that's just Chad.
Fourth, the target audience.
The target audience is probably my main concern with this movie, if I'm honest. Based on recent media, I've seen many things get taken over by 10 year old humor, Jack Black (no hate on him, but I think ykwim), and bad graphics. That's where I get concerned.
A good majority of the people who love the Legend of Zelda like I do are older than the age of 10 and don't want this movie to be overly goofy or 'watered down'. Like I said before, the Legend of Zelda games are whimsical, but also very dark at times. That's what makes them perfect; there's a balance.
Fifth, Link himself.
If you didn't know, Link doesn't usually talk or have a super distinguishable personality because the creators designed him with the audience in mind. You're supposed to be able to imagine Link in any way, even as yourself.
Now, that's not to say he can't have a personality. I'm just saying that whatever personality they give him will not work.
Not only that, but I just know they're going to make him talk. I know it. Now, i know some people are probably like 'wEll, DrAgON, How aRe theY suPPOsEd to MaKe him INterEstIng If HE doEsN'T TAlK?', to which I pat them on the head and remind them of the incredibly successful movie 'The Quiet Place' where all of the characters were silent and used sign language. In this movie's case, ONLY LINK would be silent, making it even EASIER for them.
Sixth, is Hyrule.
Now, I don't have too many concerns about Hyrule itself since it's pretty easy to make a movie pretty in terms of the landscape, but if it looks anything remotely similar to the Minecraft movie trailer, I will not watch it.
Seventh is the Villain.
My main concern with whichever villain they choose (most likely Ganon, but I think it'd be interesting to use a different villain like Vaati or the Demise), only because I don't want them to act like Bowser did in the Mario movie. Don't get me wrong, I think that worked for Bowser. But for Ganon? No. And I swear to you, if the villain or ANYONE is played by Jack Black, I will have an actual meltdown. (Love you Jack Black, but please no)
Eighth is the music.
As we all know (or at least you should), the Legend of Zelda has some of the most beautiful music ever. The Song of Storms, Zelda's Lullaby, Ballad of the Wind Fish, these are all great songs. If they screw this up, I will hate it.
And finally, number Nine: the essence and vibe of the movie.
This is my other main concern. Can I explain to you why I love the Legend of Zelda so Much? No, I can't. All I can tell you is that the 'feel' of it is what I love. If they fail to capture the whimsy and the wholesomeness but also the underlayer of darkness that the games possess, this movie will bomb.
Let me give you a few examples of other medias that failed to capture their source material:
Star Wars (The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, The Rise of Skywalker). All three of those movies sucked imo because they didn't feel like a Star Wars movie, they felt like a Star Wars fanfiction. This isn't any of the cast's fault, either. They did good for what they were given. But the movie itself (expecially the character changes in Luke) lacked that feeling the other Star Wars movies hold.
Star Trek Discovery and Picard. Both of these shows are objectively the worst Star Trek series. And, it's for the same exact reasons as those Star Wars movies. THE PEOPLE MAKING THEM AREN'T FANS OF THE FRANCHISE!!! They don't understand them, they don't understand why people LIKE them. But if you look at their newest show, Strange New Worlds, it's doing spectacularly. Why? BECAUSE THE NEW WRITERS ARE FANS OF THE SHOW. THEY GET IT.
If you couldn't tell, I'm very passionate about this one.
In conclusion, you can tell that my hopes for this movie are incredibly, painfully low. Can you blame me, though? This is my favorite thing in the world, an I'd love to have a movie about it. But in recent times, movies and shows based off of already beloved things have not been doing well because they don't capture the feeling of them. The people put in charge of these movies most likely haven't played a single Legend of Zelda game in their lives, so they don't get it and they aren't going to be able to capture our souls like the games do.
Thank you for listening to my messy rant.

Hello I was wondering if you are comfortable with writing zendaya into a tom holland fic like one where Tom is dating zendaya and the reader is his best friend and one day when y/n gets ready to go on a date tom gets jealous even though he's with Z and he realizes that he's loved reader all along and breaks things off with Z (no hate towards Z in anyway btw)
Hi! I wasn't really feeling comfortable with Tom and Zendaya but I also liked the concept of your request so I changed the characters, hope you don't mind and still like it.

Summary â Peter realizes he's in love with his best friend, when you went on a date with Brad.
You stood in front of the mirror, dabbing a brush across your eyelid, blending out a warm shade of eyeshadow. Tonight felt different, almost foreign. It wasnât that you hadnât imagined going on dates beforeâfar from itâbut youâd never thought itâd actually happen, especially not with someone like Brad Davis. You adjusted the strap of your dress, stealing a glance at Peter in the mirror.
He was sprawled on your bed, arms crossed, and his brows furrowed in that boyish way he did when he was sulking.
âDo you really have to go?â He whined, dragging the words out like a five-year-old.
âYes, Peter. I do,â you replied with an exaggerated sigh, running a hand through your hair.
âBut itâs movie night! You canât just ditch movie night, Y/n. Thatâs, like, breaking the bestie code,â he declared, sitting up now, eyes wide as though he was genuinely appalled.
You rolled your eyes, trying to suppress a laugh. âPeter, just ask MJ if sheâs free and call her over for a movie night. Itâs been a while since you two went on a date anyway.â
He grimaced at the suggestion. âThatâs not the point!â He shot back. âI like MJ, but she always picks these horror movies or murder documentaries, I don't like those!â
âThen compromise or watch two movies. Problem solved.â
Peter groaned, throwing himself back onto your bed like the world had ended. âItâs not just about the movie, Y/n. Itâs Brad Davis. You really want to go out with him? That guy literally had a war with me over MJ back in high school. He was Flashâs lackey, for crying out loud!â
You turned to him fully now, crossing your arms. âPeter, heâs changed. Heâs not the same guy from high school. Besides, if he still liked MJ, he wouldnât have asked me out.â
Peter shot up, his expression defensive. âHow would you know that? What if heâs just trying to worm his way into our group orâworseâsteal MJ from me?â
âIf MJ likes you enough, then you shouldnât have to worry,â you replied flatly, going back to your makeup.
âThatâs not the point!â
âThen what is the point, Peter?â
He stumbled over his words for a second, looking frustrated. âHeâs not your type, Y/n. You two are complete opposites.â
You raised a brow, spinning back to face him. âYou and MJ are opposites too, and youâre together. Why is it different for me?â
âThatâs not the same thing!â
âOh? And how exactly is it not the same?â
Peter opened his mouth but immediately closed it, his jaw tightening as he looked away. âHeâs just not right for you, okay? You shouldnât go out with someone like him.â
âAnd how do you know that?â
âI just do!â He snapped. âBecause Iâm your best friend, and I know you better than anyone else.â
His sudden outburst caught you off guard, and your voice dropped, softer now. âWhy are you mad, Peter? You never let me talk to any boys. You always say theyâre bad or some shit. If I donât get out there, how am I supposed to know whoâs bad and whoâs not?â
Peter flinched slightly at your words, but his expression hardened again. âDo whatever you want,â he muttered under his breath before storming out of your room, slamming his bedroom door behind him.
You stood there, staring at the closed door opposite of your bedroom, feeling a sting in your chest. His behaviour hurt, more than you wanted to admit, but you shook it off, focusing on the task at hand.
Taking a deep breath, you gave yourself one last look in the mirror. You looked goodâbetter than you had in a while. But that didnât stop Peterâs words from replaying in your head as you grabbed your purse and stepped out of the apartment.
---------------
The date was fine. Brad was polite enough, though his stories about his workouts and teammates dragged on longer than you cared for. You tried to stay engaged, but your mind kept wandering. Peterâs voice echoed in your head, his words about Brad pulling at your thoughts.
âYou know,â Brad said as you neared your building, âCoach is always on my case, but I think itâs because he knows Iâm the only one who can handle the pressure.â
âRight,â you muttered, forcing a smile.
Brad didnât seem to notice your distraction. âAnyway, I had a good time tonight. You are nice company.â
âUh, thanks,â you replied, already reaching for your keys.
âSee you around, Y/n.â
âGoodnight, Brad,â you gave him a soft smile.
To your relief, he leaned in and kissed your cheek instead of trying for anything more. You offered him another small smile before heading inside. It was late, nearing midnight, and your heels clicked softly on the floor as you climbed the stairs to the shared apartment.
When you entered, you noticed the faint glow of the TV in the living room. Kicking off your heels at the door, you walked in to find Peter on the couch, staring at the screen but clearly not watching it.
âHey,â you said softly, setting your purse down on the counter.
Peter immediately stood up and, without warning, pulled you into a tight hug. His arms wrapped around you with a desperation you hadnât felt before.
âYou okay, Pete?â You asked, confused by the sudden embrace.
He pulled back slightly but kept his hands on your shoulders. His face was serious, and his voice cracked as he said, âI broke up with MJ.â
You blinked, taking a step back. âYou did what?!â
âI broke up with MJ,â he repeated, his voice quieter this time.
Your eyes widened in disbelief. âPeter, tell me this is a joke. Youâre joking, right?â
He shook his head, his curls bouncing slightly. âNo. Iâm serious.â
âOh my god,â you muttered, running a hand through your hair. âWhy? Why would you do that?!â
Peter hesitated, his throat bobbing as he swallowed hard. âBecause I realized something.â
âWhat?â
âThat I love you, Y/n/n,â he said, his voice breaking at the edges. âNot just as my best friendâIâm in love with you.â
You froze, his words hanging heavy in the air. âWait, wait, wait. Back it up,â you said, shaking your head in disbelief. âYou canât just say something like that, Peter. You like MJ. Sheâs your girlfriend! You canât just suddenly fall for me.â
âI didnât,â he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. His eyes glistened with unshed tears as he looked at you. âI fell for you a long time ago, but I was a coward. I didnât want to ruin our friendship. I thought itâd be easier to move on. But it wasnât.â
âPeter...â
âWhat I didâitâs the right thing,â he continued, his voice growing steadier. âBecause the relationship wasnât fair to her. Or to me. I couldnât keep pretending when my heart has always been with you.â
You stared at him, your mind spinning. His words felt like a dream, something youâd imagined countless times but never thought would actually happen.
âPlease, Y/n,â he said, his voice cracking again. âTell me I havenât lost you. Please.â
For a moment, you didnât say anything. You simply stared at him, trying to process everything. Then, without thinking, you leaned up and pressed a soft kiss to his lips.
Peter froze, his hands instinctively gripping your arms to steady himself. When you pulled back, his eyes were wide, his mouth slightly open in shock.
âDid that answer your question?â You asked, your cheeks warm.
He blinked, his stunned expression quickly melting into one of hope and nervous excitement. âIâI, umâc-can you do it again?â He stammered, his cheeks turning red. âI think I need to understand better.â
You let out a breathy laugh, shaking your head before leaning in to kiss him again, this time slower, savoring the moment. His lips moved against yours tentatively at first, but then he relaxed, pulling you closer as if he was afraid to let go.
When you finally pulled away, his forehead rested against yours, his breath warm against your skin. âYou have no idea how long Iâve wanted to do that,â he murmured.
âMaybe not as long as I have,â you teased, a smile tugging at your lips.
Peter chuckled softly, his hands gently cupping your face now. âSo... does this mean youâll stay for movie night?â
You rolled your eyes, laughing as you playfully swatted his chest. âOnly if I get to pick the movie this time.â
âDeal,â he said with a grin, leaning in to steal another quick kiss.

Oh it's aro week ! Here's a short Off Colors drabble for the occasion feat. Leo and April
April watched the credits rolling up the screen of her TV. Leo sat on the bed with her, his shell pressed against the wall and her legs rested over his, as usual on movie nights.
"So..." April broke the silence. "That was pretty good, right?"
"I guess?" He shrugged.
"You guess? What's wrong with it?"
"You know." He waved a hand. "Once again we have this intense adventure plot going on and there's some romance involved."
She sighed. "Leo, that doesn't make it bad."
"I know, I know." He tossed his hands up before crossing them and slouching down further in his seat. "It just has to come up every single time. And like, why? Do people really want romance in all their stories that badly?"
"I mean, yeah? Most people do, I guess." She climbed over Leo to reach the remote and turn the TV off. "Though I kind of get it. Like, why does it always have to be a guy and a girl. We need more girls falling in love with girls."
"No offense April, but I'd probably stick my tongue out at that too." As if to emphasize, he did it now.
April lightly kneed him in the stomach as she returned to her usual seat. "You don't have to complain about it that much."
"It's just... frustrating." He mumbled. "You say it's normal. Dad says it's normal. Hueso says it's normal. But I can't wrap my head around it."
She sank into her pillows and put her legs on his lap again. She took a moment to swallow her anger, after all Leo wasn't trying to be rude about it. He probably really didn't get it.
She tilted her head. "And you're certain it's not a find the right person situation?"
The turtle rolled his eyes and held one of his hoodie strings, swinging it around. "Well gee, how would I even know that? What other teenagers do I interact with besides you? Love you, by the way, but not like that."
"Good cause I don't like boys." She lifted a foot and used it to give his head a light shove.
He pushed her leg back down in an instant. "Dad keeps saying I'll get it when I'm older but he's been saying that for years. Like hello, I'm thirteen now. Doesn't it happen to most teenagers sooner than that?"
She shrugged. "I guess. But you're not exactly most teenagers either."
"Quick, google sexual maturity of red eared sliders."
She snorted at that, and was glad to see Leo crack a smile, but it didn't last.
Then, it gave her an idea.
"Actually, hang on." She climbed off her bed to grab her laptop off her desk. "I might have an idea."
"Are you actually going to google it?"
"No." She smiled and sat back down. "But you remember the whole thing with that flag on my pin board yeah?" She pointed to where it probably was behind her.
Leo nodded. "Yup, lesbian flag. Which you lied to me about at first and convinced me it was a country until my dad had to explain it."
She bit her lip to keep herself from laughing at that old joke. "Right, well there's a lot of other flags out there. I did some brief reading on them and I think one might help explain some things." She pulled up her internet browser and began to type.
He moved his legs and crawled over to sit next to her. "You're telling me there's a flag for people who hate romance?"
"Not exactly that but..." April scrolled down the page, glancing at the various lines of colors until she finally saw the one she remembered. "There, that's the one!"
Leo leaned closer to the screen, studying the bars of green, white, grey and black. "Aromantic?"
"Yeah." She clicked on the hyperlink which brought up the full page. "People who feel little to no romantic attraction." With it loaded she slid the computer onto his lap to let him scroll and read for as long as he wanted.
Which turned out to be for a while. April felt awkward with the silence so she climbed off the bed and grabbed all the empty bags of snacks and soda cans. "You want some water?"
Her friend just let out a hum of acknowledgement that she took as a yes. She carried the trash to the kitchen and tossed it in the bin, passing by her mom in the living room.
"Movie done?" Her mom asked, watching her own TV.
"Yeah, just chatting for a bit."
"He can stay the night if he wants, but you both aren't staying up all night."
"I know." April sighed. It wasn't a school nightâthey never did movie nights on school nightsâbut her mom was still mad about three weeks ago when the pair of them accidentally stayed up talking until one in the morning.
She pulled a couple of water bottles out of the wrapped plastic next to the fridge and shuffled back to her room, replying to her mom's quick good night.
Leo was still on the laptop when she returned, though now laying on his stomach and staring at the screen like it held the secret to life, love, and everything.
April wouldn't interrupt. She set his bottle on the nightstand and opened her own, taking a few sips and settling back onto the mattress.
"So..." Leo finally spoke up. "Maybe it is normal? That I'm not into romance? If this is apparently enough of a thing to make a group name for it."
She smiled and lightly scraped her nails over his shell. "Yeah! You might be ace too."
"I assume you don't mean that in the sense of 'extremely cool.'"
She snorted and leaned across his back to use the touchpad. She scrolled down to the related links, clicking on asexual.
"Hm, not as crazy about that flag." Leonardo raised a brow. "Prefer the greens." He scanned the page for a second. "Wait, is there a difference between romantic and sexual attraction?"
"Yeah." April tapped her mouth with the lid of her bottle. "I mean, I don't personally get it but it makes sense? After all, ace people aren't sexually into people, at least not always, but they still fall in love?"
"Hmm, yeah I don't think I'm into any of that."
"Then in that case..." April, still laying on his back, scrolled down again and clicked on the aroace page.
"Huh? They have a different flag?"
She laughed. "There's a lot of those."
"I like this one though." She could practically hear the smile in his voice. "It has blue in it. And orange! Doesn't yours have orange?"
"Yeah!"
"We could match! Sort of!"
"Yeah!" She giggled, and Leo responded, and soon both of them were falling into a fit of laughter.
April rolled off him while catching her breath, and then took another sip of water.
Leo got up and grabbed his own bottle. "It's not weird for me to just go with that, right?" He tilted his head as he frowned. "I mean, what if Dad is right? Maybe I'm still not old enough or haven't meant the right person or something."
She shrugged. "You're allowed to change your mind, Leo. I mean, I thought I was bi until I realized my interest in guys was just me trying to match what the girls in class were doing. Helps that my mom has knowledge about this though, I guess."
She kicked her legs. "Anyway, point is, you can go with it and change your mind later."
He smiled and drank some water. "I almost hope I don't. What if our flags stop matching?"
April snorted and tossed an arm around his neck to pull him close. "I'm sure we can find something else to match."
Leo's smile became softer and he turned to pull her into a proper hug. "Thanks, Apes."
She returned it, though she wasn't entirely sure what he was thanking her for. Could be any number of things, and she chose not to ask.
"Of course, Lee."

Disney, releasing Wish: "so it's all about legacy--the new generation surpassing the old, overcoming the evils perpetuated by them, relinquishing singular power... and there's an old man in a tower, uh... animal sidekick, i guess..., ah... magic...?
Miyazaki, just out of frame, sledgehammer raised:
#the boy and the heron#not tagging wish 'cause i'm being a little acidic#this isn't to be negative in the slightest--I really respect both films--but it's interesting to see how visceral boy+H gets with its story#what evils have to be rejected and what they represent--and how characters and the world suffer from those evils--as well as how the whole#'rejecting' part goes. in terms of animation powerhouses discussing their legacies - disney and miyazaki both - I find it interesting that#one makes a pretty safe and nostalgic movie about imagination and dreams; the other is a long trudge through the land of the dead.#b+h is a hard watch - and a look at the legacy of a man questioning his whole purpose in the world - after his cultural touchstones#have long passed by. Mahito needs to understand his grief to keep living--but if he drowns in it he'll just continue the cannibalistic and#violent world of his granduncle. how the hell do you make art when the trauma of your entire life has colored it forever? How can anyone?#maybe after a while... it's time to detonate that damn tower and keep living.#this is to say#if you have enough money to make whatever you want#Make It Fucking Count

icl i would be at least a little happy with almost any ending for stranger things but one thing that would ruin all of it would be an epilogue (of a decade or more later)
#it would just kinda ruin the fun of imagining them doing whatever tf i want them to these days yk#like even if everyone got together the way i wanted them and got the jobs i think fit etc it would still just kill the creativity#+ even the small things would annoy me like what if i just donât like what one of them named their kids. or dresses like in 20 years#maybe i wanted them divorced by then but that wouldâve angered the fans#maybe i wanted to imagine that single personâs future spouse myself (or keep them single in my head)#what if i want them to recover from this or that or still be working on it. what if i the adult/older actors look shit#anyways point is do not do an epilogue timeskip of more than 5/6years PLEASE i am begging u duffer brothers#stranger things#byler#<- u guys get me on this yk#even if byler isnât canon at the end i can still at least imagine they do in uni or in their 30s or whenever#as long as there isnât some fucking scene where mike and el r old and married in 2023 or something#would just kinda ruin all of it; making us see them as old ass adults with their entire lives set it stone yk#manifesting a few month/year timeskip where everyone gets a happy ending isnât all âand then they lived a nice life in this specific wayâ#and especially manifesting that we donât get an#âi havenât seen you guys in decades howâve you been? sucks that erica died in a car crash last year. she was almost 40â#type epilogue (if we must have one)#like no hate to amphibia and that one 80s movie but it just kinda makes what happened before a bit pointless if it focused on their#relationships at all#like cool we spent years watching these friendships grow and adapt only for u to go âyeah and weâre strangers now soz :)â like ok so none o#that lasted#idgaf if itâs ârealisticâ if i wanted realistic representation of childhood friends into adulthood id think about real life and shit#idk random rant if they do any of this shit i WILL kill all of them and then myself#ryan shut the fuck up

Rewatching Spider-Man Homecoming, and I didn't really think of this but it's kinda funny and interesting how The Vulture was active YEARS before Peter became Spider-Man.
Like, in all the previous Spider-Man movies, the villian became a villian like RIGHT AFTER or around the time Spider-Man became active (Spider-Man 2002, Amazing Spider-Man) or a little bit after, usually in response TO Spider-Man (Venom in Spider-Man 3, Electro in Amazing 2, Goblin in Amazing 2).
And it kinda sends this message, most likely unintentional, that Spider-Man's presence is what brings these guys up. I totally get why the movies are structured like this, it's a good way to build up your hero and villian as foils to one another, or in the case of the sequels being, well, a sequel so Spider-Man is active no matter what.
But idk, I just find it neat that The Vulture is actively doing crime YEARS before Spider-Man even becomes active, and yet Spider-Man still feels it's responsibility to take care of it, simply because he has the power to do so. His presence is net positive where he takes down a underground criminal group and borederline psychopath (Vulture straight up kills The Shocker without any remorse) that the government, Avengers, D.O.D. whoever didn't because it was "too small" for them. Idk man, I just like this movie I guess.
#clockwise thoughts#ewww he watches MCU trash#please this junk has been on since i was 4yo đ#this may actually be my favorite live action Spider-Man movie#the others are good#great even#...except the bad ones (no i will not give names you can imagine whatever you want)#but idk man#this just hits the spot for me i guess#spiderman homecoming

Questionable so proceed with caution vlklvjv im so sorry if i convince you to see it and you dont like i#moving on I Have. done nothing but listen to Eternal Flame for the past week its been stuck in my head ever since#BUT FR as i said I Really Liked It. i heard that theres another/original version so i wanna watch that at some point#if i care to remember and find it vjaelkjeakl but as This Movie On Its Own i had a swell time !!!#it does a really good job of teetering that line of#'this is just a quaint little sometimes-awkward get-together' and 'this is so stressful i just might throw up'#it did a good job of keeping me invested and on my toes i guess- it bitters innocuous scenarios really well which i like#like i wasnt sure WHEN whatever scene i was watching would turn sour but i always had that feeling it /would/- that lingering feeling#the horror in this is more psychological than violent- it only gets crazy by the last quarter honestly#which isnt bad! i like psych horror and Christ. the amount of times i was just grimacing in my seat like Suspense Is The Word#like imagine a dinner party where people only say controversial things and you dont want to blow up the situation#so you just try to be really polite about pivoting from the topic. but they keep going. thats basically the horror of this movie at its cor#i do have SOME comments about some bits but i wanna rewatch the movie at some point to be thorough on my comments jglejlakj#yk do a rewatch where im. NOT jokin bout with my brother- THO TBF DESPITE THAT I was still invested#like its premise is so. simple? in concept imo. but 'simple' isnt automatically bad in my eyes and i really liked how it played out#i dont watch movies much tho so maybe its been done different but there is ONE thing tht definitely made me like. HUH#but its nothing super major i dont htink? I MEAN IT WAS KINDA BIG BUT there were signs to it being revealed. still it made me vjLJ like god#i cant explain tho cause SPOILERS but ... Yeah. its not that crazy it just definitely took me by surprise for how quick the reveal was#tldr: if you ever wanted to watch an awkward dinner party where you couldnt do anything about it this is the movie to watch#and i like that. i like that because i hate myself apparently jVLAEKJVAEKLJ#coupled with horror it was also funny at times which i felt did help with that underlying 'when will this be tainted' horror#i really liked that ... when normalcy or the feeling of safety can be taken away in an instant#if you watch it and wanna talk bout it more in depth ill prob have rewatched it by then and id like to give a more. Detailed review#OR AT LEAST ONE NOT SO RAMBLY VELKAVJEALKJ im not good at reviewing things .... i just know when i like or dont like somethin ..#ive only had my bro to talk bout this with and he doesnt really. Give his thoughts or opinions too much like i do#so id be happy to talk bout it and get your perspective !!!! but only if you want Again if you dont like it im so sorry erlakjaekl#god theres so much more i want to say but im just rambling and i wanna be brief for you my friend vlakjlakvlkj#anyway yeah. those are my quick thoughts. i was Very Normal about james mcavoy for most of this movie ty for reading

starting to think the reason i don't quite believe in ghosts is bc i read an article in middle school that talked about a Whole Alive Man who lived in someone's house for like. Several Years. stuff would go missing, things would be out of place, there'd be bad smells that couldn't be explained, odd noises. whole time, this oldass squatter (is it still "squatting" if the home is occupied?) would move around the house at night while the family was sleeping.
i forgot how/when they discovered that guy, but that story scared kid me more than any ghost. like, sometimes ghosty horror movies can make me jump bc that's the power of good effects and suspense. i like a good ghost story. but that's fiction. i doubt a ghost is haunting You. check your carbon monoxide detector lol. but the idea that an unknown silent creep could be living in your house under your nose for years? that's scarier than a ghost lol.
#roommates are roommates. guests are guests#but imagine you learn that a rando (whatever their intent towards you if they had any intent at all)#has been living with you all this time? but you never knew bc they don't want you to know#hell they could've stared at you while you slept and you'd never know#home invasion trope but they never leave. they just fuck with you.#anyway i'm watching a ghost movie. it's. not that good but that's part of the fun#rambles

you ever give someones video essay you sort of disagree with a shot and then You still disagree with them. Thats crazy
#she said Us was a movie about middle class fears of the envy of the working class. which yes. but no. but that like.#it cant be about the working class because of its depiction of them as growling horror villains#which. also removing the aspect of. the tenderness and understanding in the film between the protagonist and the supposed antagonist#and the narrative weirdness that makes you question who is who and who was there first being a thing#to feed into the argument that contempt is the sublimation of envy and Explains a lot about society.com#anyway this is just one part of the video and other bits actively spun the is this ME question i kept afloat while watching it#but is it the truth that envy drives moralistic thinking just because it sounds more self aware and enlightened 6_9#after all even before religion and before masters and slaves people did have a sense of good or bad#based more around pain pleasure and functionality right#and can envy explain the contempt of people who dont want what they contempt.#i think its easy for some people in some positions to say like oh well theyâre just envious and lying to themselves to feel better about it#and itâs hard for these same people to imagine i guess the depth of a contempt without desire. they must not truly hate me#they only want what I have and bemoan their lack of it.#but does everyone want the same thing. i.e. if you are disgusted by extravagance consumption opulence whatever is it always just envy#if you believe wealth and excess power robs everyone within it of something you actually desire#or is that just envious self-delusion. who knows#in this way of thinking some things are never possible or mutable because once the tables are turned and the envious desire is fulfilled#then people only will ever become corrupt because the substance of it always mattered less than emotional gratification#which maybe has been the pattern but is that it is that just ze human condition forever#?_?. i get the video wants to focus so it discards a lot of these things but i just dont think they can be extricable#also she said flaunting wealth is an american phenomenon LMAO. I was chinese once#also that black swan was about the sublimation of envy into artistic perfection (yes) but also not about the humanity it robs#in the proccess.

Ok when I reblogged this last night, I picked 3rd because thatâs what Iâve heard, but I also said maybe a little bit #4? Because at the time I thought âwell something not really mattering to you = a sort of rejectionâ so I was a little confused as to how they were separate options?
And then when I woke up and I saw this I remembered that the ârejectionâ idea was an antisemitic talking point. As in supposedly you saw the undeniable truth of Jesus and were like nah.
So Iâm not sure how else it couldâve been worded - it was quickly visible to me after a good nightâs sleep - but I wonder how many other people were thinking similarly to me when they picked #4, and how many are genuinely antisemitic. But I hope thereâs just a lot of confused people.
#culturally Christian#Iâm kind of agnostic but I do swear pretty religiously and kind of believe in Jesus and such just sort of out a habit. like if something#more convincing comes along Iâll go with that but currently I just have trouble with the idea the universe started spontaneously#I imagine more that thereâs a higher figure and heâs been running experiments on an infinite amount of universe#like multiverse theory where every little decision splits the timeline etc#and occasionally he throws in stimulae like prophecies or small bits of him so that he can see what will happen#if something good happens to#me that I had no control over#like a free parking space or meeting a dog by chance#I send a kiss up to him just because I kind of want my thanks distributed but I donât know to who? so I figure if heâs an honest guy#heâll do other people favors too#also every time I see a dead animal on the side of the road I send it a kiss because i fervently wish that they died instantly and are#up in heaven and never have to worry about anything again#but otherwise yeah#my family stopped going to church when I was 4#I just remember liking to play with the holy water you were supposed to put on your forehead#and also the church had a really nice low stone wall that I liked to hold onto my mom or dadâs hands as I walked along the top#theyâre divorced (not the catalyst to lack of church) so it was always either one or the other#my grandmother gave me a childrenâs bible and we still celebrate Christmas#so I know a lot of stories from#the kids bible I was given had a lot of bible stories in it and i enjoyed reading it but it felt like an anthology/book of fairy tales to me#more than anything. and ofc when I was little I heard lots of Christmas star#stories both secular and religious. I avoid Christmas media mostly as an adult because itâs so overblown but I figure Iâll share it with my#kids. my favorite Christmas movie of all time is about a cow who wants to become one of Santaâs reindeer and fly. itâs called#Annabelleâs wish itâs pretty cute. I think it falls under a secular Xmas movie but I havenât watched it in a bit#we also celebrate Easter but I think thatâs more because my mom really likes compiling the baskets of candy and spring themed stuff#and of course the Christian channels were always free whenever my family couldnât afford âbetterâ tv. I enjoyed them but preferred pbs kids#because they were less preachy about their morals and I was more familiar with them.#oh also when I make I wish I address it to god out of habit.#about to run out of rags but whatever. my favorite religious swear that definitely pisses people off is âJesus Christ on a pogo stickâ
