deeply strange experience playing fo3 with the ghoul mask. im exploring what was intended to be a snarling zombie infested ruin and its so... quiet. and sad. they're so gentle. i turn a dark corner and theres just a little guy sitting on the floor lookin at me. theres no raiders in here. just sad little ghouls minding their business. this trashed spooky building is one of the most peaceful places ive ever seen in the wasteland

#i love them. i dont know why nonhostile ferals are so cute to me but i love them #their sweet lil rotten faces. i love it here #i cant think of an in universe explanation for why they dont attack your companion #i know its bc gameplaywise it would just negate the effect altogether if they just attack your companion anyway #but i cant make it make sense in my character lore #anyway im having a lovely visit with my friends and butch is probably scared out of his goddamn mind #lucy plays fallout #this is what its like all the time for ghouls? since ferals dont bother them?#imagine turning ghoul and realizing they're starting to accept you #imagine hancock with a little gang of ferals hanging around him bc he feels bad and feeds them
