59: what’s your favorite myth?

Ooh I like this question! One of my favorite myths is the legend of Nezha. He's a Chinese deity based off of a Hindu one, and there are a ton of stories in Chinese literature and media about him. He flies around on fire wheels so racecar drivers keep little statues of him for good luck.

About my artwork: what you may not know

You may have wondered what ‘gxner’ stands for. I sign my artwork using this, it is my logo, and it is my branding. But what is it? and is it pronounced “g-x-ner”?

Gxner is actually pronounced ‘goner’. The X is just filling in for the O for aesthetics basically (and for a minimalist logo). 

gxner comes from the song Goner by Twenty One Pilots. I originally started making art inspired by the band (clique art). I eventually branched off to do more of a variety and now I just make art of whatever makes me happy at the moment and what makes me feel inspired.

the song Goner means a lot to me personally, so I included it in my username. Originally it was @im-a-goner-silent-in-the-trees for both tumblr and instagram. However, I changed my instagram to just @ _gxner_ so it was easier to remember. (And now I have this account to post my artwork on a blog!) 

Although my artwork was originally for clique art, I have expanded to other groups. (Right now... korean bands seems to inspire me. But once TOP comes back, I’m sure there will be more art other than what I have been making now. so stay tuned!)
